Custom Field/Column in Sourcing Cockpit Overview

Hi All,
We are using SRM 5.0 Classic Scenario and requirement is to add custom fields like Material No. and Delivery date on Sourcing cockpit overview as columns.
I have already checked the Templates and the Screen for SAPLBBP_SOCO_UI_ITS screen 200 and 300. Since there are no structures availing Custom fields I do not think we can add custom column in SOCO Overview.
Request your guidance on how to, if this functionality can be achieved.

Hi Swarnim,
To bring customer fields to the sourcing cockpit , you need to add those custom fields to shopping cart first and these fields will automatically show up in the sourcing cockpit.
To add fields in the shopping cart you need to follow the steps given in the following blog:
/people/nanda.kondagunta/blog/2006/10/23/how-to-create-custom-fields-in-srm
To find out in which structures the field is to be included you can go through the following notes:
Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2
Note 458591 - User-defined fields: Preparation and use
And after adding the fields in shopping cart you need to regenarate the sourcing screens so that the custom fields are dispalyed in the sourcing cockpit. For doing that the below given note:
Note 632982 - Generation of the screens for the sourcing.
Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Pradeep

  • Hyperlink a customer field on the sourcing screen

Does the capability exist to hyperlink a customer field that will appear on a web template?  For this example I need to hyperlink a customer field on the sourcing cockpit screen.
There is a customer field called prev PO.  This field should hyperlink to the Process Purchase Order transaction similar to how the shopping cart, auction and bidding number hyperlink to there respective displays.
    Thanks,

    Hey Nancy,
Did you solve this post? I have the same doubt about Hiperlink in CUF.
    Anybody knows?

  • Custom Error Messages in Sourcing Cockpit do not prevent PO creation

    Hi forum gurus,
We are implementing SRM 5.5 SP 9 in extended classic mode. We have implemented sourcing cockpit too.
We have coded an error message in the 'BBP_ITEM_CHECK' BADI for the sourcing cockpit and it appears correctly in the sourcing cockpit when necessary.
However, the system still allows the PO to be created, despite the error message being visible prior to clicking on the 'Create Purchase Order' button.
Any ideas? I will create a customer message to SAP with this anyway, but hoped someone may know for certain how to resolve it!
    Thanks,
    Nick

    Hi,
    Use the BADi "BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI".

  • Add custom fields in VL02N under Item overview tab

    Hi,
In VL02N, I need to add two input fields under the tab "Item Overview"...
I found the BADI  LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_ITEM but it is for adding a new tab i guess....
Is there any way to add fields under item overview only ??

    Hi,
find the enhancements for those transactions by using SE24 or  goto transaction > choose status option> find program name--> enter program name in SE38 --> goto attributes and find the package --> then goto SE84  give the  package name in the enhancements.
If u want to add the custom field  in the perticular tab -> goto that perticular screen> click on status button> find the program name and screen no:> go for SE51 give tha deatils and find the enhancement .
    Thanks,

  • Can I fullfill from BADI customer fields that appear at item overview ?

    Hi,
I can see that in SAPLBBP_SC_UI_ITS 120 (item overview) I have fields CUST1...CUST5.  called in runtime GT_SCR_ITMOVR_I-CUST1....
I have tried to show content using a screen variant, but I haven't achieved. I think that is working but this field doesn't have value although I have customer fields at position level in the shopping cart. Even I have tried to call one of my customer fields CUST1 but without result
Is possible to fullfill this content from BADI, without standar modification
    Best regards

    Hi,
Data in custom fields can be filled using BADI BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI.
In this BADI you can place your own logic to fill data in these fields.
After BADI implementation data will appear in these fields.
Hope this will solve your problem.

  • Add custom field column in VL03N main screen

    Hi,
We added a new field to LIPS via an append structure but would like it to appear in the main screen next to the quantity.  I keep reading about transaction variants and SHD0 but nothing I see there helps me know how to change the order or contents of the columns.  How can I get my custom field into the display as an additional column/field?  If SHD0 is the answer, please provide some specific steps on how to add columns to the table control as everything I've found is very vague.
The field is now in LIPSVB, but it is not in LIPSD.  Not sure if that matters.
Thanks for any help you can offer.

    Hi,
For adding fields at the item level to VL01N Transaction you can use the BADI LE_SHP_TAB_CUST_ITEM.
I dont think it is a good idea to add fields right next to the standard fields in the transaction. A separate tab should be created which will include all the customer fields.
Check the documentation of this BADI for more details. If you want this field only in VL03N transaction then you can implement the BADI accordingly so that it triggers only for VL03N transaction.

  • Customer field - Sourcing cockpit

    Hello,
I have added a customer field which is check box (XFELD) to the shopping cart item.
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC
    INCL_EEW_PD_SEARCH_ITEM_CSF_SC
    INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF
Now the shopping cart screens all look OK. But the field does not show up in the worklist or the workarea of the sourcing cockpit.
I have read threads saying that the item would show up in the workarea not in the worklist and then applying note 632982 (regenerating sourcing cockpit screens) helped.
We are SRM SERVER 5.5 Patch level 07.
Can somebody confirm if I am missing anything or should I just regenerate the screens as mentioned in 632982.
    Points will be rewarded.
    Thanks,
    Musta

    Hi,
Although you have added the custom field in the SC structure,to display it in the sourcing cockpit ,you may have to explicitly mdoify the corresponding ITS template in the ITS service BBPSOCO01.
We had a similar reqt wherein we had to add an additional column fro PURCHASE REQUISITION no in the SOCO list. But even after trying with screen variant,i couldnt display that column.Ultimately i had to hide some unwanted columns in the SOCO list and in place of that dispaly the PR no(Since the PR nowas already in the SC strcuture ,we had to just diplay  it in the SOS list by modifying the template ).
For details refer the foll thread:

  • SRM 7.0: problem with save BP customer fields

    Hi Experts,
I've enhanced the Supplier data with customer fields in SRM 7.0 with help of OSS note 1386310.
(it was mentioned in thread Enhance business partner in SRM 7.0)
When I fill customer fields with data on BP overview screen and save, the message "Business Partner changed successfully." appears, but the customer fields data is not saving in database table BUT000.
I've find out that customer data saves in FM BUPA_CENTRAL_EXTINCL_CHANGE. In this FM is a check if include CI_EEW_BUT000 exist in Structure INCL_EEW_BUT000. The check is unsuccessful and program leaves this FM.
When I open INCL_EEW_BUT000, the include CI_EEW_BUT000 exist there, but when I double click on it, message "Structure not available" appears.
Can somebody help with it? Maybe someone is already had this problem?
    Thanks,
    Ekaterina.

Hi Jr. SRM , Amit  and other ,
I'm also facing same problem . I don't want approval WF for timebing for testing in SRM7.0. I activated BC set  /SAPSRM/C_<BO>_600_000_SP04 and Ev Id as it is 3EV_SC_700_002.since suggeted ID '0EV999' didn;t worked , but still giving error "No active process levels have been found  ".
In Config guide it is given that by applying BC Sets, you do not need to perform configuration steps below i.e. 1.Define technical configuration ,2.Define settings for Business Rule Framework (BRF) 3.Define business process configuration for process-controlled workflows....so why we need to perform Automatic Workflow Customizing and generalize the task group '40000003' and '40000007' ?
Can you/anyone pls suggest on this please ?

  • Sourcing cockpit - customer columns in worklist.

    Hi,
I added two fields in item level of shopping cart as mentioned in note Note 672960 - User-defined fields 2
After that In sourcing cockpit I am not able to see the customer fields in the column list where as when I add the shopping cart to the workarea, In the workarea the customer fields are visible as columns.
    Fields in worklist.
Description  Category  Quantity  Requester  Name of Vendor  Requirement   Contract  Bid Invitation  PRS Number  Auction  Manufacturer Part Number  Manufacturer
    Fields in workarea are :
Description  Category  Quantity  Requester  Vendor  Name of Vendor  Gross Price  Net Price  Requirement   Contract  Info rec.  Purchasing Group  Manufacturer Part Number  Manufacturer  Pur Grp  Requestor
The last two columns Pur Grp and Requestor are the two fields added to shopping cart item level.
Why is it like customer columns are displayed in Workarea but not worklist?
Is the note 632982 Generation of screens for sourcing  is the solution for this problem which tells about deletion of screens?
    Thanks.

    Hi
Which SRM version are you using ? Where you have added the fields - At Item level or Header level ?  Are they appearing in the Extended Search functionality ?
Please ensure that the Append and Include table structures are activated carefully and also send the screen shots as well.
Anyways, Try the following SAP OSS notes.

  • In PWA, can I use a "Site Column" as "Custom Field" or vise versa?

    Hello,
I am using PS 2013; I was wondering how/where "Custom Fields" are created? How there are related to the Site Column?
Can I create a site column and use it as a Custom Field?
Hope my question is clear ^_^

    Hello,
As Guillaume has mention, there is no link between SharePoint site columns and Project Server custom fields, they are different entities used for different parts of the system. Site Columns are a SharePoint setting that can be used in the lists / libraries
on the SharePoint sites. Project Server custom fields are used by Project Server and not SharePoint. Project Server custom fields are created via the PWA > PWA Settings > Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables page. You can see a post
here on creating Project custom fields in the second half of this post:
    http://pwmather.wordpress.com/2014/01/17/getting-started-with-projectonline-part-2-ps2013-office365-project-ppm-sharepointonline-pm/
Scroll down to the section starting with: "Before we look at creating custom fields lets have an overview.." for details on custom fields.
You can also create Project Server custom fields and lookup tables programmatically using the PSI / CSOM / JSOM if needed.
There are ways in which you can "sync" SharePoint columns with Project Server custom fields but this is not out of the box. You would need to look at developing your own solution or look for a 3rd party solution. Fluent Pro have a solution to sync
Look up tables with other sources such as a SharePoint list, see the Lookup Manager here:
    http://www.fluentpro.com/project-server/other-products/products-for-project-server-2013/
If you just want Project Server data / fields to be available as a option for a list item on a SharePoint list, look at using the BCS, an example can be seen here:
    http://blogs.catapultsystems.com/epm/archive/2010/11/02/adding-project-server-data-as-columns-to-sharepoint-sites.aspx
    Hope that helps

  • Custom field in Edit mode in Sourcing

    Hi,
We are using Classic scenario. I have to add one custom field in Sourcing. So, I have added the field in Shopping cart. Now the custom field is displaying in surcing cockpit. But we have few PRs which has created through RFC users from ECC. When I am creating sourcing, the PRs which are created in ECC are in Display mode only. But I need my custom field in edit mode to add values in that field. So, Is there any BAdI is there to change the mode of sourcing from Display mode to Edit? It's urgent. If anybody came accross such issue, please let me know.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Nowsath
Edited by: Nowsath RM on Mar 31, 2008 2:30 AM

Thanks. But in BBP_CUF_BADI_2, IV_mode field is there in methods MODIFY_INPUT, MODIFY_OUTPUT and MODIFY_MODE_QUOT. Out of which in methods MODIFY_INPUT and MODIFY_OUTPUT, the iv_mode field is import parameter not export parameter. So, you cant change the mode over there. Also in method MODIFY_MODE_QUOT, the iv_mode is as changing parameter. But this method will not trigger when ur creating sourcing. Please correct me if I am wrong...

  • How to hide fields on Sourcing cockpit

    Hi,
Our client wants to hide some of the fileds in the  Souricng cockpit which they are not using by their purchasing department. example contract, auction, info rec etc in Sourcing cockpit
How to hide this fields in Sourcing cockpit?
They wants to bring internal note to soucing cockpit sceen, it is time cossuming for Puchasing department to drill down to each SC line item in Sourcing cocpit to see internal note for SC having 100+ items.
    Thanks
    Ravi

    Hi Ravi,
You can even use the Screen variants to hide the standard fields on sourcing cockpit.
Go to transaction SHD0--> Screen Variants.
    Transaction Code: BBPSOCO01
To hide fields on the worklist the screen variant is BBP_SOCO_WL. Make a Z copy of this screen variant say ZBBP_SOCO_WL. Go inside this Z screen variant in change mode and tick in invisible box opposite to the field you want to hide. Save the screen variant.
    Now go to BADI BBP_SCREENVARIANT
    Method GET_SCREENVARIANT_SOCO
    Assign EV_SCVARIANT = 'ZBBP_SOCO_WL'.
This will definately hide the fields. For bringing internal note , you need to create a customer field similar to internal note and assign the value of internal note to it.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Pradeep
