Custom field for sales order - Urgent.

Hi all,
I am novice at SD, want to append a custom field to header level tables - VBAK, LIKP, VBRK. for sales order.
- Will append structure work for this requirement ?
- Will this field automatically apears in VA01, VA02, VA03 screen ?

    Hello,
    Regarding item 1, is it in the region of the global links (ie logout, home, preferences, etc.)? If not, have you tried creating a link via personalizations to the region you wish to have the link displayed (item type = link, destination = fully qualified name of your .xml page/region?
    Regarding item 2, you may have to create the custom subtab programatically using the controller for the region of the current subtab layout.
    Regarding item 3, you can also add a submit button to the page button bar region via personalizations. You can then add any logic you want to the button in the controller for the page.

    Does anyone tell me what is the related tables/fields for Sales Order's Ship To Location? Since I want to display the Ship To Location information in the Oracle Report in Oracle Apps R11i.
    I tried to use the following SQL select statement to retrieve the Ship to address:-

    Dear SD Gurus,
    The client wants for some orders to create for the customer with sales order block
    For example customer 100 has sales order block but for sales order type XY00, sales order will be able to be created but for sales order type XY01, it should be able to be created.

    For this you can create one sales order block under SPRO-IMG-Sales& Distribution-Sales-sales Documents-Define & assign reasons for blocking.
    Assign this new block to those document types for which you want to block. Remaining document types can be processeed.
    For this in XD05, you have to assign this order block created to the customer master.
    100% it will work . Be happy buddy!!!

  • Update KOMV-KBETR field for sales order and billing

    I would like to update the KOMV-KBETR (condition amount or percentage) under condition tab for both Sales order and billing.
    example:There are two condition types ZA00 and ZB00 and need to get the KBETR value from ZA00 and add it to KBETR value of ZB00 and update the sum in KBER value of ZB00.
    1. creation of sales order & billing.
    2. Change of sales order & billing.
    3. For single & multiple line items in both sales order & billing.
    4. during updation of price in the change mode of sales order & billing.
    5.When user click on Update button in the condition tab(i.e., when clicked on Carryout new pricing)
    I tried with the VOFM routine but as the routine is triggering multiple times the sum is calculated again and again.For that I set flags also.It is working for sales orders but for billing creation the field XKOMV-KBETR is cleared after this routine.
    So I would like to know are there any EXITS for this scenario or any one entountered the similiar issue which I am facing.

       It is an Client requirement.So need to do the addition of that condition types.
    Can you please let me know the configuration point where we can do it and the condition type which we need to update the Rate/Amount value.ie., KOMV-KBETR is and Price list value and not the subtotal one.

    To add data to custom fields there are two appraoches.
    <b>1)</b>Using the <b>EXTENSIONIN</b> in the Tables option in the FM <b>BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2</b>
    Check the Documentation for the same,
    <b>Customer Enhancement for VBAK, VBAP, VBEP</b>
    <i>Description</i>
    You can use this parameter to transfer user-specific enhancments to a BAPI. The customer has to complete the EXTENSION structure and the system automatically continues processing it. If you have not defined any user-specific fields, then you can transfer a blank EXTENSIONIN structure.
    <b>Technical information about Customer Enhancements</b>
    The following description uses an example to explain how to proceed with customer enhancements to the SD tables VBAK, VBKD, VBAP and VBEP.
    The customer has added their own fields to table VBAP using the INCLUDE structure CUTEST. This structure contains 2 fields:
    CFIELD1, CHAR 10
    CFIELD2, CHAR 3.
    The customer also requires that these two fields can be maintained with the BAPI.
    1. Maintain structure CUTEST in table VBAP
    2. Because the BAPIs work with checkboxes, you must also define a CUTESTX checkbox for the customer structure. It should be structured like this:
    Field name       Data element
    CFIELD1            CHAR1
    CFIELD2          CHAR1
    3. Define these customer structures in the structures VBAPKOZ und VBAPKOZX using INCLUDE or APPEND.
    4. Add the customer structures to the BAPE_VBAP and BAPE_VBAPX BAPI structures using the APPEND technique.
    5. Adjust the following structures for customer enhancements to table VBAK:
    a) VBAKKOZ
    b) VBAKKOZX
    c) BAPE_VBAK
    d) BAPE_VBAKX
    6. Adjust the following structures for customer enhancements to table VBEK:
    a) VBEPKOZ
    b) VBEPKOZX
    c) BAPE_VBEP
    d) BAPE_VBEPX
    7. Generally, the data should be added to the BAPI interface in the internal communication structures (VBAKKOM, and so on). There, you can process the data in the SD tables (VBAK, and so on).
    8. If the EXTENSIONIN parameter contains customer data, you must complete at least the key fields in the relevant standard parameters.
    <i>For example:</i>
    You want to change customer field VBAP-CFIELD2 for item 20 to "XYZ" in order 4711.
    The following entries are expected:

    You must complete the STRUCTURE field with the name of the relevant enhancement structure (BAPE_VBAK, BAPE_VBAP, BAPE_VBEP). You can complete the remaining fields with the append structures from the enhancement structures.
    At the moment, you can use the BAPI to store enhancements in the following structures:
    VBAK : An enhancement to header data requires an append structure to BAPE_VBAK and an enhancement to structure VBAKKOZ.
    VBAP : An enhancement to item data requires an append structure to BAPE_VBAP and an enhancment to structure VBAPKOZ.
    VBEP : An enhancement to schedule line data requires an append structure to BAPE_VBEP and an enhancement to structure VBEPKOZ.
    VBKD : If you are using an enhancement for header data, you must add an append structure to BAPE_VBAK. You also need to enhance structure VBAKKOZ. If it is for item data, you need to add an append structure to BAPE_VBAP. You must also enhance structure VBAPKOZ.
    If you also want to work with checkboxes, each X-structure must also contain an append structure.
    For example:
    A customer has created an order and wants to include the material long text (50 digits long).
    The EXTENSIONIN structure must be completed with BAPE_VBAP. Two fields have fixed definitions in this structure. These are in the VBAP host key (VBELN, POSNR). The customer sets up an append structure that contains field ZMAT50.
    Because the VBELN is normally blank when you create an order, the data can look like this:
    STRUCTURE   |BAPE_VBAP
    <b>2)</b> Create the Sales Document using the FM and when successfully craeted you will get the Sales Document No in the Export parameter <b>SALESDOCUMENT</b>.
    After its created and Committed using <b>BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT</b> , do a <b>BDC</b> recording for the same to (<b>VA02</b> Change Sales Order) update the fields only and save the document.

  • New Input fields for Sales Order Screen

    Hi all
    I have to modify the existing Sales Order Screen for transactions VA01, VA02 and VA03 using user exits. I have to add two input fields (of order quantity for tow different sales units CS and BT) in existing table control of Sales order and later I want to convert these UOMs to basic UOMs.
    As its a screen exit part, I had done some R&D for the same. I had never faced such requirement in past.According to my knowledge "User exits are only to put additional information in existing SAP programs and not to modify main screens." 
    BADI is new to me but I still tried to search BADI for the same but didn't able to find it.
    Basically I am not able to find Screen Exit for this.
    Can anybody help me in this regard?
    If you are suggesting BADI then please try to explain in detial.

    Hi Amol,
    VA01, VA02 are fine. Since VA03 is display, you cannot edit the fields you add.
    To add fields to this display you need to edit the following screens :
    Program : SAPMV45A
    Screen :  8309
    It is the Additional Data B tab provided by SAP to add custom fields .
    You may need an access key to edit this screen.
    Putting your fields there and running VA01/02 will solve half your problem.
    The second half is how to capture the data entered in those fields to the database.
    In order to capture the data from these custom fields you can use
    the user exit
    MV45AFZZ
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE
    USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT depening on what you want to do.

  • Customer downpayment for sale order

    Hi,
    we have a situation where customer will give an advance amount for a sale order. the same will be recorded with Spl GL indicator. now the users have to manually select those sales orders while clearing the advance payment. but due to compulsion the advance payments are knocked off with some other invoices.
    Is it possible to restrict clearing of this advance payment only with respect to that invoice of the sales order for which advance payment is made?

    For this you can create the validation in GGB0/ OB28 with the use of exit. (Your ABAPer can help in coding for the exit.)
    Standard SAP will not make any such restriction.

    We have a requirement where we require to disable the incompletion log check on net price when a certain free goods condition exists in the sales order pricing.  We are unable to do this using standard configuration.
    Is there a user-exit we can use on the incompletion log?  I have been unable to find an exit or a BADI.

      Create a new incompletion procedure without the net price field..
      In the save document prepare user exit check for the conditions and switch the incompletion procedure to the new one..

  • Customer Downpayment for Sales orders

    Dear Gurus,
    The Client receives  advance payment from the export customers and enters into the system.
    The advance payment is indeed a bulk payment and the Client is not able to link the individual Sales Order while creating downpayment in SAP system. Currently they are entering the Sales Order number in the Text Field during Downpayment creation.
    Kindly advise any option to include the Sales Order numbers during downpayment creation in SAP.

    Use transaction FBKP and go into respective Special GL indicator..enter your chart of accounts note which GL account is used for Special G/L account field...Now use transaction FS00 and enter this GL account and find the field status group....
    Threeaftere you can change the field sales order in addition assignment for field status variant using transaction OBC4..

    we had a similar req we handled it using delivery level blocks and restricted the authorisation to remove the block to certain users. incase you are not doin this follow this path. imglog executionshippingdeliveries-define reasons. assign this block to the order. also you will ahve to put teh block in cust master too.

    My customer requirement is to see Discount field in sales order lines screen...They want to know how much percentage of discount they are giving to customer, if they want to modify for respective line they modify in that field.
    Standard functionality discount field is NOT there in SO lines for because they manual enter discount in SO form, system should calculate Discounted price.
    One more required if they enter Item code, able to see available quantity bottom of the form Sub inventory wise, Availability, resealable.
    Current standard functionality supports - Click Availability button to check the availability..Its very difficult for them to check for each and every line item, is there any functionality to support this issue.

    Both of your requirements should be customised.
    There is no standard functionality which attains your requirements.
    For my present project, we have customised 2 seperate reports, one which shows the availability of the items in subinventory and locator.
    Also a report which shows discount for all the lines and for the entire order.
