Custom Notification on approval of a change in a PO

Hello,
My requirement is to track the changes in a Purchase Order and notify the same to the user.
Example:
PO#1001, Revision# 0
       Line1: Unit Price= 100
       PO Approved and notification sent to user with standard information.
PO#1001, Revision# 1
       Line1: Unit Price= 200
      PO Approved and ....
Standard Behavior: Notification is sent to user with standard information.
Required Behavior: Notification to be sent with standard information as well as it should show the changes (similar to the date we can see in 'PO Change History' in EBS)
Also I need to send this customized notification to the requester of the PO. But I learnt that for a standard PO, the attribute 'REQUESTER_ID' is populated only if the line type is 'Temp Labor'. So, I am not able to use this attribute.
So to summarize my requirements:
The Changes in a PO should also be displayed in the notification, once the revised PO is approved.
The custom notification should be sent to the 'Requester'.
I would really be grateful for your help and suggestion on this.

3 - Select the line and push the button "Create Purchase Order" (In this momento I would like to create a flow of approval)

How to send a group notification in approval process?

I'd like to send a group notification in approval process, so as to tell them that they hava pending tasks in OIM.
As if the out of the box does not support sending an email to a group of users. I have written the custom code
to implement it, but I don't know where should I attach the adapter/event handler in the approval process.

I you can attach the adapter to to approval task as you attach adapter to other process task.If you are writing task assignment adapter then you can also attach this adapter in assignment tab.

You are not recognized as a user in the SAP customer notification system

we are in OSS registered as CCC. I am able to send notifications from our SolMan to OSS with components(instalations) which are registered under out SAP customer number(our SolMan instalation etc.).
When I want to sned notification for our customers to OSS but with component of our customer(he has another SAP number, his instalation) then I got an error message

Diagnosis
No address data exists for this logon user in the SAP problem notification system.
The function you activated could not be executed.

10.3.1 Update - custom notifications still broken

I have a z10 and since I purchased it over a year ago, my custom notifications set for contacts for text messages are ignored.
Whenever a text message comes in, the phone plays the default tone not the custom tone I have set for that user. The other custom tones work (for BBM and phonecalls).
This has been several updates and this function - included in the original rollout of BB10 - has never worked.
Any one have any solutions or explanations.
(Please, do not recommend I buy an app for a feature that I paid for with the included OS. I am asking for solutions to the problem in OS 10.3.1. Thank you.)

Nor do I have any way to know which is causal...at an internet distance, all I can do is try to evaluate what you say and make sense of it. If the OS isn't working correctly for you, then it is possible that the version you are now on is somehow corrupt. Or perhaps that the update process itself caused error. Both are possible, but we can't really tell you which it is (if either, for that matter).
So, what I would suggest is a very clean OS reload, and not do any restore from backup unless and until you find a version that works as you expect. You can use LINK to reload what your carrier has approved, or you can use AutoLoader to load any version that you desire.

Notifications to Approver

Hi,
Is the requestor the only person who gets the notifications (upon PR approval or when an invoice comes in)? Would it be possible to get the same notifications to Approver as the requestor?

You will have to write a custom alert or a custom notification or you will need to modify the workflow.

Curve 8330 Custom Notifications

Hello all. New Blackberry user here. Just got the unit yesterday and spent a few hours trying to get everything set up.
The problem I am having is trying to get my custom notifications to work with my contacts.
Ok, so here we go:
Sender A sends me a text or e-mail, and I want lets say Notifier_ChiGong as the sound for them.
Sender B sends me a text or e-mail, and I want lets say Sound A on my media card to play for them.
Now, I want all other texts and e-mails from everyone else (on or not on my contact lists) to play lets say Sound B on my media card to play for these.
When I receive a voice mail notification, I would like a completely diffrent sound, lets say Sound C from my media card to play for this one.
I have tried setting up the excpetions and all that but nothing works...All texts emails and voicemail notifications plays the same sound, Sound B.
I have searched the forums, but I can't figure this thing out for the life of me. Everything else is coming to me as I keep playing with this unit. I also spent 2 hours last night manually entering my contacts into this unit, since my previous phone was not a smartphone, and I did not want to synch into my e-mail software and destroy my many various contact lists...
Andy help would be greatly appreciated.

I copied and pasted the post below.
It is complicated for SMS tones, but possible. Follow the directions here:
This workaround will allow you to have specific alerts for email and messages from specific senders:
(Works with OS 4.2 and above)
1. Go to Profiles on your BlackBerry and create a new custom profile, naming it the name of your targeted sender.
2. Edit and change the Messages, Level 1 Messages, MMS, Phone and SMS notifications for this profile to the custom ringtones you prefer for this contact. Don't worry about changing things like Calendar, Messenger Alerts and Tasks don't matter for individual users.
3. Once all of your ringtone settings are set for the new custom profile, save the changes. Now you will be back to your Profiles list and will see your custom profile listed there with the standard ones.
4. Now wheel click and select New Exception.
5. Title the exception whatever you want (would be smart to name it again the name of that particular contact).
6. In the FROM line, click the trackwheel or trackball and select the user from your address book. They should now show in your From line.
7. Scroll down and change the Use Profile option from Active Profile to your newly created custom group.
8. You may remove the check box from "Custom Phone Tune" if you already have a custom phone tune for this contact, or leave it and set it in the new custom profile as well.
9. Save the changes.
Now once you have followed these for each SMS contact - click save as number nine says. Go back to your profile and click either normal or loud for the profile sound. Make sure you do not have any exceptions already in your exception area regarding the ones you have made a SMS tone for. if you do, remove them so you SMS tone will work. You can actually set your ringtones under each one of these you set up as well. When you are changing your SMS sounds, you can click on phone and change your ringtone to that specific one. How to - only display the price of approved PO (not change mode)

Hi,
Following are our PO release strategy
1. Release id : P has
a. Released indicator (tick)
b. Changeablity - 4
The above setup is working fine, means still after the approval users can change all the fields. New strategy is triggered once the values are changed.
Now the issue is business owner does not want the price, qty in change mode after approval. After approval ME22N to show
1. Price & qty to be in display mode
2. All other fields (except the one which affects PRICE) in change mode.
I tried to all the combinations, but after approval I get to see either all the fields in display mode or all in change mode.
Is it possible to display the price related fields only for the approved PO in ME22N.

2. Only for the approved PO - we want the price fields in display mode.
3. There is no restriction required for the un approved POs.

How to make fields mandatory in Message Address for Custom Notification.

Hi Experts,
We have created a new custom Notification Type and we were in the process of configuring it. I want to know, if I want to make a few fields obligatory in Message Address, can that be achieved through configurations. I am basically an ABAPer so please pardon my ignorance if the question looks basic.
In our implementation, I have seen different Work Orders with different mandatory fields in Message Addresses. I hope the same is achievable for notification as well.

There are 2 ways to make any Notification filed mandatory.
1. Configuration route:
Here Under Plant Maintenance->Maintenance and Service Processing>Maintenance & Service Notifications>Notification Creation>Notification types> Set Field selection for Notifications:
You select influencing button and your notification type then select the Radio button under Required column (against the
field you want to make mandatory)
2. User Exit Route: Through SMOD -->User Exit QQMA0014 -->Cutsomer Exit EXIT_SAPMIWO0_020 -->Include ZXQQMU20.
Then put your code in this include.
Code Sample:
IF I_VIQMEL-QMART= 'AC'.
IF T_VIQMSM-MNGRP IS INITIAL.
MESSAGE ID 'IW' TYPE 'I' NUMBER 464 WITH 'Tasks'.
RAISE EXIT_FROM_SAVE.
ENDIF.
ENDIF.
(The above Code makes the 'Tasks' filling mandatory in the Notification type 'AC')

Review Activity (RA) Approval Condition is Changing

Hello everyone,
I am running SCSM 2012 R2 version 7.5.3079.0 (no CUs). I am having an odd issue where it seems as though the approval condition is changing on review activities. I can't seem to figure out if I've done something or if there is something else
going on. This is causing some tickets to "stall" and not actually get processed or is delaying actual approvals.
So as an example, the person who originally designed the system put an Automatic Approval Review Activity at the beginning of every SR. In the template, the Approval Condition was set to Automatic and there were no reviewers. All of a sudden
a reviewer with no name would show up and the approval condition would become unanimous. I since removed that RA.
Now there is a similar issue I am finding on my Change Requests (CRs). I have only done three as we are basically doing dry runs before we convert off our old system. In my template, I have a review activity that has the six members of our
change approval board as reviewers. The members rarely change so I saw no reason to make this dynamic. The template has the stage set to Approve with an Approval Condition set for Percentage. The threshold is 66% or 4 of the 6 reviewers.
At some point, the approval condition was changed to unanimous. If I look at the history of the RA, I can see where the activity was created and it says Approval Percentage 66. The RA went from Pending to In Progress and then about a minute later,
the approval condition and percentage changed. The name on that time entry is just one of my service accounts.
If it helps...here is that process that the CR template follows
Automatic Review Activity, which has not been an issue so far.
Runbook Automation Activity - Updates some fields on the CR with information based on fields. Also modifies the reviewer in the next step to be the Business Owner of a system.
Business Owner Approval Review Activity - Template is set to unanimous and has one blank reviewer that is updated by the previous runbook.
Change Approval Board Review Activity - Explained above.
Runbook Automation Activity - Converts the Change Request to a Release Record.
I appreciate any and all assistance that someone could provide.

This is a common issue.... try restarting the following three services: Microsoft Monitoring Agent, System Center Data Access Service, System Center Management Service and deleting your health service cache (Installation Folder/Health Service State) (it
will regenerate once you restart the services)

Approval Procedure Question - changing an Un approved document or Approver

Here is my situation. I have set up an approval Stage with 1 approval necessary for Credit Memos.
From time ot time, the approver needs to change the Credit Memo before apporving.
Also, from time to time, the Originator of the Credit Memo needs to change the credit memo BEFORE it has been approved.
From what I gather,
1) The Approver can not change the Credit Memo BUT can Add the Credit Memo but only after approving it.
2) The Originator of the Credit Memo can not change the Credit Memo unless it has been rejected, and then it is not an easy task to find where the document can be changed.
3) Any manipulation of the documents from either the Approval Status reportor the Approval Decision report is not possible.
Am I missing something here or is there an easy way to modify a pre approved document?

Actually what I am trying to accomplish is have all Credit Memos approved. I at the same time would like the person who is approving th eCredit Memo also make changes to the Credit Memo if changes need to be made. The end user does not issue a Credit Memo (Update) until the goods are received back at their facility and checked. At that time, they would like the approver make the necessary adjustments if necessary and them update the Credit Memo. I find it a bit cumbersome to have to send that Credit Memo back to the Origonator to be adjusted and then send it back for approval.
Am I missing something here? Is it possible for the apporver to not approve it and then make th changesand then update it?
Any other sugestions on how to handle this situation??

How are pure custom objects impacted by peoplesoft delivered changes in Upgrades.

We have developed pure custom component interfaces using delivered components.So we would like to know what would be the impact of changes to delivered components on the custom component interface.
Similar question for other custom peoplesoft objects like changes to delivered fields to pure custom records,pages,peoplecode etc.

Let me explain this
1. If you have custom record and all the fields in those record also custom fields then there won't be any impact
2. But if you have a custom record with delivered fields, then changes to these delivered field impacts the custom record as well
eg: length changes to the delivered fields impact your custom record.
2. Same applied for other objects like pages, components..etc
Any custom object which uses the delivered objects in it will have impact. Because these delivered objects may be changed in higher version.

Vendor maintained both the plant(supply and receeving plant)
Customer maintained both the company code and sales org.(supply and receeving plant) then also Iam getting same error.
I had checked OMGN t-code setting looks good.
Same setting I had tested on DEV and SANDBOX its wokring fine.
Please help me out how to solve this problem

Hi,
I am facing similar problem, When trying to create a PO for Intercompany stock transfer, I am getting the error message Customer XXX does not exist (Please change the entry in Plant XXXX).
This error is appearing only in the Production system, but PO is getting created in Quality system. All the Master data, Configuration in both systems appears same. If you know any solution, kindly post.

Iam new to workflow.
As a subordinate, I have created an absence notification.
With superior's loginid, I have approved the same.
But no notification message is sent to the subordinate's inbox that the absence notif. is approved.
But I see the step 'Send mail after approval' with the expression &_WF_INITIATOR& in WS30000015
Any reason why?

Is your workflow is active? Also check the event linkage is active or not in SWEC.
Go to SWU0 and enter your business object and event and execute.
SWi1 used to check the workflow log.

Can't for sure say the same for spi devices, since I apparently have none. I'd edit that page, but I can't.
