  • Problems deploying custom JAAS login module (ClassNotFound)

    Hi,
    I've developed a custom made JAAS login module that filters on IP addresse which I am moving from 6.20 to 6.40.
    I've pretty much followed the procedures from http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/de/46/3ce9402f3f8031e10000000a1550b0/content.htm , the only major difference is that I needed a reference to WebCallback and therefore a reference to com.sap.security.api.sda from my library project.
    I've especially followed the step with "Adding a Reference to the Classloader of the Security Provider" (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/de/2b/23e4407211732ae10000000a155106/content.htm) , but I think its this step that fails. This has been set to library:<library name> , where <library name> is what is written on the right hand side of visual admin under library. I see that the library is deployed under the folder bin\ext\customer.com~com.customer.portal.login.IPRuleLibrary   , so maybe I will try that name tomorrow morning.
    The exceptions I get are

    Hi,
    The problem was solved by using the name customer.com~com.customer.portal.login.IPRuleLibrary for the library (so basically look at the name of your library folder under cluster\j2ee\serverx\bin\ext , not the name reported by visual admin).
    Also I was able to modify the properties of the login module runtime, which made me very happy

  • ADF Application and Oracle Portal Login Page

    We have developed ADF application and deployed it in Oracle AS 10.1.2 along with the custom JAAS module, which is working fine with the application custom login page. As a next page, I want to use Oracle Portal login page for the authentication and authorization.
    How can I accomplished it? Any idea?
    Thanks,
    AP

    Shay,
    1. I created blank ADF project
    2. I copied myreport.jsp file (this one was generated by Oracle Report Builder) under ..ViewController/public_html directory
    3. Created directory 'lib' under ViewController/public_html/WEB-INF/lib
    4. Copied reports_tld.jar file under the directory created in 3.
    5. Created simple jspx page with the af:link (btw af:goLink does not exists in JDev 12c), set 'destination' to myreport.jsp
    After the steps above I could not even compile the application, many problems too many to list here, Basically JDev is trying to build the project with .jsp file generated in Report Builder and is unable to.
    So to be sure we are on the same page: I am trying to embed JSP report files generated by Report Builder into ADF project, then create EAR file and deploy on standalone WLS. Finally execute JSP web only report.

  • Portal Login id and Credatinal pass to dot net application

    Hi Experts,
    I want to know is it possible to pass the portal login id and other details like Name and organization to an dotnet application.
    If it is then how can we do it.
    Please do the needfull. Important
    Regards,
    Swapnil

    Hi Sarbjeet,
    I first thought of creating URL Iview and passing the user id and other required details as parameter to that URL Iview.
    Then reading your mail i thought of creating a web dynpro java application and then pass all the required values to the url in the application only but i am confussed how i will call the dot net application.
    If you have a better suggestion please let me know how to do it.
    Regards
    Swapnil

  • How do you use a custom login application?

    I have setup a custom Login Application as instructed from the admin guide, but cannot find any instructions on how you then go about using it. Some other posts on here mention customising/linking a page to it based on the user Login.jsp, but they arn't clear on the steps to do this.

    The solution I was using was a single sign on system called CAS, which handled the authentication. The class I used is shown here:
    http://www.ja-sig.org/wiki/display/CAS/CASifying+Sun+Identity+Manager
    The java class is called: CASResourceAdapter.java
    Most of this code is not used. The bit you would be interested in is in the method named:
    public WavesetResult authenticate(HashMap loginInfo) throws WavesetExceptionIf you delete all the code in here and replace it with the code below as most of this is a customised search that the author wrote:
         final String method = "authenticate";
         if (_trace.level1(this,method))
                _trace.entry(WSTrace.LEVEL1, this, method);
            WavesetResult result = new WavesetResult();
            String userId = (String)loginInfo.get(USER);
            if(_trace.level2(this,method))
              _trace.info(_trace.LEVEL2, this, method, USER + " = " + userId);
              _trace.info(_trace.LEVEL2, this, method, "map: " +  loginInfo);
            if (_trace.level2(this,method))
                _trace.info(_trace.LEVEL2, this, method, "Obtained user '" + userId + "' from info: " + String.valueOf(loginInfo));
            result.addResult(Constants.AUTHENTICATED_IDENTITY, userId);
            return result;You could also remove the trace code. The code you would be interested in particular would be:
    WavesetResult result = new WavesetResult();
    String userId = (String)loginInfo.get(USER);
    if(_trace.level2(this,method))
    result.addResult(Constants.AUTHENTICATED_IDENTITY, userId);
    return result;The logininfo is a method used to retrieve whatever userid was used to authenticate. This is what was needed to retreive the userid from CAS. You will need to replace this with custom code to retreive the userid from your webservice.
    Once you are happy with the code, place the compiled class with the correct package levels in idm/web-inf/classes. You may need to create the folder called classes.
    Next login to your idm and goto resources and then configure types. Add a custom resource to point to your new class In my case it was edu.unmerced.idm.adapter.CASResourceAdaptor. Save this and then add this as a resource in your resources screen and except all defaults and give it a custom name of your choice.
    You then need to add this resource to each of your users.
    Next you need to goto configure and then login. In here you need to create a new login module group and point it to your CAS resource. Then change the default login for the users login application to use this new login group. See idm specific documentation on how to do this
    Reboot your idm application server.
    You would now use your alternative webservice system to authenticate and then afterwards get it to forward to your idm and if the code picks up the user from your webservice correctly you should be logged into idm as that user.

  • Accessing custom Portal service from a java application

    We have a custom portal service that connects to BW using xmla. How do you access this portal service from a java application. Not from web dynpro, jsp or servlet but from the java code.
    Can we use the INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY to get access to the portal service.
    Thank You
    D.K

    Now I tried the following:
    I've added the prtapi.jar and the service's jar to the additional-lib folder and added the appropriate entries to library.txt and reference.txt.
    Now I can obtain now the PortalRuntime, but this is not initialized.
    Has anybody a solution for this problem? Help would be high appreciated!
    Regards,
    Matthias

  • 9ias portal login customizing

    Is there any way to customize Portal's login screen to make your own that will still provide regular login authentication, plus additional features? (w/o using the Page features...unless those can somehow be integrated with user defined templates)
    thanks

    Sure, you can define a new page or template with portal login/logout smart link.

  • Redirect to Portal Login page from portlet

    We have lots of applications on the portal and many of them need the logged in user information to provide the right display context. For example, "My Notes" where notes are stamped with the user's login id. Our portlet applications show exception messages when the user id is unavailable. Pressing a refresh button takes them to the portal login page.
    Does anyone know how to redirect to the portal login page? Here is how I would like it to work: A user has the application up beyond the session timeout period and does something that causes the page to submit. At the application server we look for the logged in user ID which is missing due to session timeout and we send them to the portal login page.
    Thanks! Mike

    Hi James,
    <br />
    <br />I fear this isn´t possible to do with ADDT, as it will - when using its Restrict Access To Page behaviour - always redirect to the page you specified in the Control Panel.
    <br />
    <br />However you can help yourself with a simple custom PHP redirect script
    <i>(place it @ @ line 1 of your document)</i> which checks whether the "kt_login_id" Session Variable is set, and if it´s not set, redirect to a different login page:
    <br />
    <br /><?php<br />if (!isset($_SESSION['kt_login_id'])) {<br />header('Location: http://www.example.com/directory/login.php') ;<br />}<br />?>
    <br />
    <br />Hint: users who login via a different login page will still be redirected to ADDT´s default login page when logging out
    <br />

  • Custom Portal issues

    I created three "views".  They are called PlantAllocations.aspx, WhereUsed.aspx, and Default.aspx where Default.aspx is just a copy of SamplePortal.aspx from the MockCustomPortalPlugins sample solution that was provided.  My issue is when I try to go to the webpage by url for PlantAllocations.aspx (http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/PlantAllocations.aspx) and Default.aspx (http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/Default.aspx) I get an unhandled Error. [Please see unhandlederror.png attachment]  I go to our application server and pull the error from the Application Log. [Please see applog.txt].  I do not get an error though for WhereUsed.aspx (http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/WhereUsed.aspx)
    For the WhereUsed webpage, that is able to render, the links in the left hand menu to the other two views work. [Please see whereused.png attachment].  When I click on the Default menu option the site redirects to the page but I noticed the url is not what I would expect it to be (http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/Default.aspx) it's actually:
    http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/WhereUsed.aspx?View=1
    The url still has WhereUsed.aspx with a View index parameter (?View=1).  That's also true for PlantAllocations.aspx.  When I click on the Plant Allocations menu option the site redirects to the page but it's url is the following:
    http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/WhereUsed.aspx?View=2
    Why can't I reach the other two views directly by url?  I can provide more information if needed.  Thanks

    From the screen shots I can see that you only create a custom portal. It's name is "Spec Search Portal".
    Because you have so many url address:
    http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/Default.aspx
    http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/PlantAllocations.aspx
    http://pdm-pdev.tyson.com/customPortal/SpecSearchPortal/Views/WhereUsed.aspx
    1.You need create different custom portal for each url.
    2. Add profile for each custom portal:
    3. Set Portal name for each page(ex.:Default.aspx, PlantAllocations,aspx, and WhereUsed.aspx)
    4.please remember to new session and re-login to the application after you have done the above settings.
    5.I add a picture. It describes the relationship among URL, custom portal, profile and custom portal view.

  • Custom Portal iView (Retrieve user; Append text to URL; Redirect to URL)

    Hi all,
    I wish to create a custom Portal iView. I wish to fulfill the following requirements using this iView:
    1) I wish to retrieve the Portal User ID of the user who is currently login in Portal. (Will the IUser class solve the purpose? I know IUser is used in Web Dynpro application.)
    2) I wish to append this User ID to another URL (a URL of some other non-SAP application). The URL is something like this:
    http://<ABC>/user=
    3) Both the above tasks have to be performed in the same iView. And then the iView should automatically be redirected to the new URL (generated in step 2).
    I wish to do this without using Web Dynpro. Can someone please help me for this requirement? I would appreciate even if someone knows the solution to only one of the three steps above, and replies to my question.
    Thanks in advance.

  • How to implement custom db login module .

    Hi Frank.
    I was going thru your document on implementing the custom db login module in my application. I am not able to configure this same at my end. when i issue a command to add the dbloginmodule on the j2ee home directory it ask me for the ABSTRACTLOGINMODULE username , pls tell what is to be provided here because i tried it for admin user as specified in your document but it gave me an error user admin not found in the system. Pls tell what to do in this case?
    can any one ...list down the steps to do same...for my application

    Hi,
    if I had to list all the steos then I would end up writing the same steps that come with the LoginModules
    Note that if you add the configurations on the command line of JAZN then the ABSTRACTLOGINMODULE most likely is "oc4jadmin", which is the default administartor account
