Custom Repetition in Calendar

How can I set up a custom repetition for the iPhone? For example, if I want it to repeat an event for the first Monday of every month?

There are only limited manual options for repeat on iOS calendar if you enter your appointment manually. A workaround is to use Siri. Siri can set appointment repeats any way you desire (every other day, every three days, every three weeks, every 5 months, etc)

Customer Exit for Calendar Month based on the day (system Date)

Hello,
I need help in creating a customer exit for Calendar month without the user input. The logic is as follows:
For the BEx variable created with customer exit option and no user input:
If the day on the system date falls in between 1 to 14 take the calendar year/month value as previous month.
If the day on the system date falls in between 15 through 31 then take the calendar year/month as current month.
eg if report is run on March 24th2009 the calendar year/month variable should be calculated as 03/2009 (March 2009)
if the report is run on March 1st2009 the calendar year/month should be calculated as 02/2009 (Feb 2009).
The code should be effective when run in the first 15 days of Jan when the previous month would contain the previous year as well.

Thanks Shanthi. I am trying to incorporate the logic when the query is run in beginning of Jan when the year should be the previous year.Following is the code.please let me know if it would work. Is there a way I can test it as well?

What happened to custom dates in calendar?

There used to be a "custom" choice in calendar for 3rd Tuesday, etc. I can't find it anymore. Does anyone know whether it still works, or where it moved?

The should only be in the RingTones Folder.

You should be presented with a window which allows you to select from one of several default colors, plus "Other..."

Customized Reports - Graphics / Calendar Style

Hi,
I'm a project scheduler,
experienced with P5 & P6. I'm currently using
Primavera P6.1. I haven't done much report writing, and I
am currently tasked with creating two customized reports.

REPORTS?
One of the reports is
an overall look at a project, so it would include the
project start/finish and project level user defined field
values. The UDFs are indicators. I want the report to show
the graphic value of the indicator, but I'm not sure how
to make P6 report editor give that. It seems to only be
able to give the text value ("green"). Is there a way to
make the report choose a graphic based on the value of the
UDF or code?

I know a lot of people
want to create a report that is essentially a lookahead,
but on a calendar layout. I've asked Primavera if this is
possible but they referred me to the PARs. I contacted a
couple but haven't found a calendar report. So does
anybody have any suggestions for creating a calendar style
report? It would list each task that is either starting,
ongoing, or finishing on that particular day.

don't like the sound of that - exports for graphics.
Do you mean export all project data & then use it
in some other tool to create the report? Like build an
excel template to process csv data? :cringing: 
I'm using P6 Web and it's got nice
graphics but you can't create a full PDF printout of
all the data which is why I'm trying to build the
report.

HT5978 How do I add custom location on Calendar?

When I type location, Calendar give me options. But I want to add custom location because all of options is incorrect. How can I do that?

Still have a question though...are there any requirements on the icon...does it need to be a .gif file and 48x48 or can it be .jpg and a larger thumbnail size?

Can I still do custom repeats in calendar?

I'm using OS7.0.4 on my iPad. In Calendar is no longer give me the option to create a custom repeat...the 3rd Thursday of the month, for example. Is the option no longer available with the new operating system?

the ability for custom repeats has always been rather limited within iOS. But if you make the appointment elsewhere and import it then the iPad will honor it. For example I can make the appointment in my outlook, e-mail that appointment to myself, open it in mail an save it and it'll repeat right on the calendar.

Before this recent update for my iPhone and iPad when I would enter an event in calendar there was the option for doing a custom repeat. I would use that for meetings that are every 3 weeks. Now when doing a repeat it shows

Every Day
Every Week
Every 2 Weeks
Every Month
Every Year
But for the life of me I cannot find the custom setting. I would appreciate greatly any help or advice that can be given.

Never mind, after posting my question a few topics popped up regarding the custom option, it is just not available on iCal.

Recurring 'Custom' appointments in Calendar

How do I create recurring appointments such as, 'the second and forth Thursday of each month or the first Thursday of each quarter. I'm in healthcare and this is frequently the format used for scheduling hospital meetings. Before iOS7, this was a 'Custom' appointment section beyond The Recurring button. I cannot figure out how to do in iOS7. What am I missing or was this feature removed? I use the iPad4 and iPhone 5.

Apparently, it's not possible in the Calendar App any more. I guess you'll have to set it up in the Calendar app in OSX or however you sync calendars. I'm surprising that's gone, it must have not been noticed in the seeding process. Or it was, and the software designers decided that no one cared.

VBA script for custom Outlook 2010 calendar "first day of week"

I need Outlook 2010 to use "week starting with the Saturday before Jan 1" as "first week of year" to match our company payroll calendar. (For example, Saturday 12/26/2015-Sunday 1/3/2016 would be "first week of 2016".) Is there

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Outlook\Options\Calendar
where 15.0 stands for Outlook
2013.
Make changes in
the Outlook settings and see which registry values change and in what way depending
on the settings you change.

Customer Exit for Calendar year/Quarter

Hi Experts,
I had a scenario as I had a Time char 0Calquarter. Based on this I need to derive the current quarter headcount and Pervious year same quarter headcount. To get the headcount I defined a counter constant '1' for each employee at cube level.
In a Query
a) Assign a system date to 0Calquarter variable in query.
b) If the variable is blank till current quarter the headcount need to display and same as previous quarter headcount.
c) If the user enters any value (say 20083) tht quarter current headcount and pervious year quarter(20073) headcount.
For the above scenarios I need to write customer exit.

Headcount is defined as 'constant'. when Z_COUNT Keyfigure is dran & droped in rows it'll cumulate and display the current headcount.

Customizing Integrated Marketing Calendar

In Integrated Marketing Calendar of CRM EHP1,
when right mouse button is clicked on the bar or blank area, you can create marketing plan and campaign through context menu.
It is configured in
IMG
> Marketing Planning and Campaign Management
    >Integrated Marketing Calendar
      > Define Role Settings
        > Select Objects Allowed for Creation
The functionality is exactly same to what my clients want, but the naming of it is different from what they want.
e.g) for them the Campaign is 'Activity' and Marketing Plan is 'Project'. So I need to modify the program to show the context menu like below.
New Campaign => New Activity
New Marketing => New Project
Is there any body who knows where to modify it?

    For the context menu that is shown on clicking a blank area , you can make Implicit enhancements at the end of the method cl_mcal_utility=>get_allowed_obj_types_create and change the description in the exporting table parameters .
The context menu shown during right click on a project bar is a bit tougher to modify . The texts are hard-coded in the method cl_mcal_xml_handler=>get_ctxt_menu_databar . I don't know if you can modify the class text elements . The other option would be to create an implicit enhancement at the end of the method and do a string replace on the exporting parameter ev_databar_ctxt_menu_xml . Be careful while modifying the XML string as any syntax errors ( unwanted space , extra quotes ) will cause the context menu to not be rendered .

Custom Repeats in Wiki calendar

I have a group set up using a wiki and calendar as a shared team calendar. I noticed that you can create repeating events, but only of a limited nature (daily, weekly, monthly, etc.). I see there is an entry for Custom (like in iCal) but it's disabled ("greyed-out"). Is this disabled intentionally? Is there some way to enable it?
Or alternatively, is there any way I can import existing ICS files (with custom repetitions in them) into this calendar instead of creating them within the calendar's web view?

I have the same question. About 50% of my users are on non-mac platforms and live on the web clients for collaboration. This has been requested by most of those users.

Schedule line different from days accepted by customer calendar

Hi,
When trying to create order for a customer using fcustomer calendar (receiving days = monday), and proposing delivery date for example on a wednesday, it compares a warning messagge that says that next possible goods receving date is the subsequent monday.
If you ignore it, the date in the schedule line remains unchanged (programmed delivery on wednesday).
System uses APO,in the case it runs instead it proposes the nearest monday to the requested date, and no problem with that.
The problem remains on those cases where APO doesn't run.
Any ideas on how to make automatic acquisition of the proposed date of the warning messagge and insert it in schedule line?
User-exit is necessary?
