Custom TAB in txn WCOCO using Screen Enhancement(BADI Implementation)

Hi,
My requirement is to add a custom tab with some fields in the Header in transaction WCOCO. I implemented the enhancement spot WCB_CC_VIEW_SPOT and the BAdi WCB_HEADER_DATA_TAB_I_BADI and am able to create the custom tab. All the details for the implementation are given in the BAdi's documentation.
Now, I need to make this custom tab enable/disbale i.e., make it visible/invisible based on the Condition Contract type. I tried to handle this in the PBO of the subscreen (my custom tab is a subscreen, defined as per the BAdi documentation)... but commands SET/LEAVE Screen cannot be used in a subscreen, so unable to handle it.
Any help on this is greatly appreciated.

BUt last week i have custom tab in the PO header data using this enahncement 'MM06E005'.
IN thi senhancement u have thrre screen exits.In this enhancement
SAPMM06E 0111 CUSTSCR1 SAPLXM06 0111 Subscreen: PO item
u can add subscreen and u can add u r own fields here .
and u can write u r code in 'EXIT_SAPMM06E_006'.
if u want to change the title of the program.
Go to program SAPLXM06 then go to text element give text symbol no as '111' and u can change the title of u r tab.
I hope this solves u r problem.

Custom tab data not saving in ME22N w/ BAdI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST

Hello all,
I have implemented BAdis ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST & ME_GUI_PO_CUST and created a custom tab at the header level in ME21N/ME22N. I have fields such as Delivery Date and Ex Factory Date in my tab.
We are able to put data in these fields and have that data populate their respective fields in the Purchase Order.
Our users would like to be able to run ME22N and select certain line items and have only those items changed with the data from the custom fields.
So, my question is how do I handle line selection in the context of these BAdIs? Is there a way to know which lines have been selected and then only change the data in those items?
I have looked in Class CL_PO_ITEM_HANDLE_MM for an attribute or method that might help but I haven't found anything as of yet.
I have found that the field MEPO1211-TCSELFLAG is set when a line is selected in ME22N. However, I haven't found a way to work with it. It doesn't get passed to any of the methods in the BAdIs, as far as I know.

We were able to capture the lines selected by using code from method mass_change in Include LMEGUICJK, Function Group MEGUI. The lines are in the lt_models table.
So, now my issue is getting data to save in ME22N. When I put data in my custom tabs and select a line, the data gets changed on the screen but does not save. It does work when I make a change in another field, like changing the description for instance. I'm using the set_changed method in Process_Header from ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST but it doesn't work.
I'm getting the idea that I'm the first ABAP developer to try this...

Add two customer tab in ME53N screen

Hi Experts,
We have added one customer tab in the (ME53N) Requisition screen using screen exit SAPLMEGUI (SUB0).
Is it possible to add another customer tab to that screen?

We can achieve the target of adding a customer tab using the exit MEREQ001.
Go to Tcode SMOD , Enter the Enhancement as MEREQ001 , Click on 'Documentation' and SAP has given an excellent step by step procedure on how to add a tab at item level.

I have added long material text(more than 40 characters) into material master using screen enhancement ,
now i want to add this into Purchase Requisition , Purchase order and MIGO . I have added LONG TEXT into PR & PO using screen enhancement, but new tab is added i.e. Customer Data(Subscreen) .
But my requirement is that to add new field in existing tab only i.e. Material Data.

Rfx Custom Tab(Table) Value not mapping in Change Doc BADI

Hi,
I am currently adding Custom Tab with Table in SRM Rfx Webdynpro Screen SRM PPS 7.01 Extended classic . I did the configuration steps to add the custom table, visibility setups, created a new Webdynpro, enhanced in Component controller and could get current active instance Rfx values.
In local memory using a class method i am exporting custom tab values to Change Doc BADI and updating the et_hcf with the custom values.
The values are getting saved in the data base and i am able to get it via function module and show in the screen again.
My Problem is when i am modifying a saved Rfx it saves the entry another time. When i debug the change doc badi i could see all the time the et_hcf and it_hcf is coming empty in the first place and each time the entries from screen are consider as new entries and getting saved in DB.
I have created Custom tab with table in Contract screen, PO Header and shopping cart line item. Rfx screen is little different and not getting the et_hcf value again in Change Doc BADI. Do anyone have similar issue in handling Rfx.? Please help me. I can Change my code logic and fix this problem still it looks like a standard bug to me that et_hcf or it_hcf is not getting values to the change doc BADI as it does in PO or Contract. Also let me know if i need to check any of my configuration.

Custom tab in MM01

Hi All,
I have created a custom tab in MM01transaction successfully using SPRO customisation settings. However, when I transport the "Screen sequence" using SCC1 tcode to my "Test client", the order of the of the custom tab is getting randomly changed, as a result all the standard tabs are behaving strangely. i.e. when I click on the "MRP1" tab the cursor goes to the "MRP3". Also, soon after I transport the "Screen sequence", everything looks fine. i.e. all the screens will properly placed at the expected palce including the custom tab but upon creating some materials and then when I go back and check in SPRO under 'Maintain order of main screen ', my newly created custom tab gets appended 2 or 3 times there at the top with BLANK screen number. When I go to the change mode those appended custom tabs take the screen sequence on its own and created this problem.
Please help me out!

SRM : Custom Tab in RFx Item Details

I have a requirement to add a custom tab to the Item Details Tab of the RFx which has some custom Input fields and Checkboxes.
For this i have created a Custom Tab in component /sapsrm/wdc_dofc_rfq_i_d1 through enhancement and used a separate z component to display the fields in custom tab. (declared zcomponent as used component in /sapsrm/wdc_dofc_rfq_i_d1).
I have instantiated my component usage in different methods of main component where other standard tabs were instantiated.
As per the settings I am able to display the custom tab when i run the application but when i toggle the tabs it is giving some errors.
Can anybody pls let me know some of the key points which I need to take care while adding the custom tab. How can I handle the standard SAVE and Edit Buttons in my components and also the processes which occur when I navigate from one tab to another???

My requirements was a little bit different from yours...
For CTR my Z component is only for display data, so its not necessary to save any data.
For SC I had a table with some data and when I select a line is necessary to push a button to assign some values to the fields price, quantity, etc (standard fields)
The solution for the SC was a bit difficult. I haven't access to that system now and i don't remember all the details.
I'll try to explain to you what I did:
- Create an event as interface in your Z component, this event should be triggered when the user push somo button in your view.
- Create a method as event handler for this event in the standard component
- For update the standard fields you need to use the method:
wd_this->MO_DODM_RFQ_I_D1->/SAPSRM/IF_CLL_MAPPER~UPDATE( ).
- I needed to add an enhancement point in that method and pass the data with IMPORT/EXPORT TO/FROM MEMORY.
- For save the data I used the methods get_item_detail and update_item for the class /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BO_* and the method submit_update for the class /SAPSRM/IF_PDO_BASE.
You need to investigate these classes, you can copy and use some standard code to do it.
I don't know if this help you and if exits other easiest way to do it. sorry.

PMS - What is the use of enhancement 'ADD_IND_DEVPLAN_STATION'

My requirement is to add custom goal types to a criteria group in the appraisal form. i.e., When i add an element to a criteria group, i should select the goal type from dropdown for that element.
Eg.,
1. Section 1 (VB) - when we choose create option to add an element/goal under this section, the pop-up should appear with the list of custom values.
1.1. Goal type (VB) - against this element i want a drop down with a set of values.
I tried using free enhancement 'ADD_QUALIFICATION' but its linked to qualification catalog which we dont want to use. I am not sure how the other enhancement 'ADD_IND_DEVPLAN_STATION' works. Can anyone explain how to achieve this? appreciate your help.

Made some progress. I have added 'Development Plans' list in transaction OOEC and choose the free enhancement 'ADD_IND_DEVPLAN_STATION'. however, when i choose the create button in the appraisal form, there is no new element added or no pop-up window comes up. I am assuming that the enhancement/BAdI implementation has to be in place and noticed these are all standard enhancements and it shouldve been implemented by default. Is there anything that we should do to enable this enhancement/BAdI?

Changes of subscreen in an screen enhancements

I am using screen enhancements of a standard program.
I have created a subscreen which will be called by the standard program. When ever i am making chages to the data in the sub screen sy-datar is not setting. Only when i make changes in the other standard screens sy-datar is setting to 'X'.
Can you please let me know how to know whether chages have been done to the data on my subscreen. Is there any function module or any other solution?

I think it is not possible. Not possible, because the colors are handled centrally per user.
You can set the color scheme with the following setting:
Click on the local layout settings button (first from right, under the menu) then choose color settings from the popup menu.
Here you can define the colors for that user.

My question is, when these Supervisor goals / employee qualification requirements changes, will they be automatically reflected in the employee's appraisal form?

I found an answer to my Question:
Any changes to the element text will be reflected in the appraisal. But if new elements are added, that will not get reflected in the appraisal as the Fix Enhancement BADI will be triggered only when the appraisal document is created.

Unable to add custom tab in ME21N using BADI ME_GUI_PO_CUST

I need one extra tab in Item Details of ME21N.
This extra tab should have two fields of my own.
I have put the coding in the SUBSCRIBE method of the implementation of the BADI ME_GUI_PO_POST as follows:
data: ls_subscriber like line of re_subscribers.
we want to add a customer subscreen on the item detail tab
check im_application = 'PO'.
check im_element = 'ITEM'.
each line in re_subscribers generates a subscreen. We add one subscreen in this example
clear re_subscribers[].
the name is a unique identifier for the subscreen and defined in this class definition
ls_subscriber-name = 'Event Details'.
the dynpro number to use
ls_subscriber-dynpro = '0001'.
the program where the dynpro can be found
ls_subscriber-program = 'SAPLMEPOBADIEX'.
each subscreen needs his own DDIC-Structure
ls_subscriber-struct_name = 'ZSM_PO_STRUC'.
a label can be defined
ls_subscriber-label = 'Event ID'.
the position within the tabstrib can be defined
ls_subscriber-position = 5.
the height of the screen can be defined here. Currently we suport two screen sizes:

I put breakpoints in the implementation of the method, and it is going into it, yet the extra tab is not getting displayed on the screen.

How to make reference wbs custom data carried to new wbs when using custom tab and custom table

I created a custom tab for WBS elements by using user exit CNEX0007 and custom screen and put a table control in it.
As table control's data has to be stored in a table I could not use append structure of PRPS.
When I used reference wbs, PRPS custom fields were carried also but I could not find any solution to fill table control data with reference table.
I need to get correspondence between reference number's and new id's key data. Is there any exit, enh. that I can store the relationship.

I've used an enhancement point in include LCNPB_MF38. CJWB_SUBTREE_COPY exports a table called newnumbers. Here you can find correspondances between copied WBS and new WBS.
Exported table to memory id.
And imported it in another user-exit. You can use proper user exit for your need. ( EXIT_SAPLCNAU_002)

Use of enhancement to add field in screen

please explain me how to add fields in standard transaction screen by using enhancement 6 in version 6.0 ?

SAP provides standard transactions to enter data into database. But a client may want to maintain some additional information in SAP other than what is provided.
To make provisions for this, additional screens have to be provided and additional fields must be added into appropriate database table.
To pave way for this, SAP has provided the option for screen exits. Usually, SAP provides the following:
An append structure in the database table with the new fields.
A subscreen area into the standard screen u2013 where the programmer can attach his subscreen of his own program with the new fields.
A function group under which the new subscreen has to be created with the new fields.
Function exits to synchronize the PBO and PAI of the standard SAP program with the PBO and PAI of the subscreen u2013 so that data can flow back and forth between the standard SAP program and the program written by the developer for the subscreen. These function modules also exist in the same function group under which the subscreen will have to be developed.
Finally, a linkage has to be done between the subscreen area of standard SAP screen with the custom subscreen constructed by the developer.
Typically, SAP provides an enhancement in which the developer can create an append structure, use the function exits to synchronize the PBO and PAI of the standard SAP program and the custom subscreen program, and make the necessary linking( as mentioned above in step 4. But, again, this is not a hard and fast rule. Linking in some case, is also done by configurations.) SAP also usually provides the name of the function group under which the subscreen has to be developed.
Necessary guidance about implementing a screen exit development is usually available in the Documentation section of the enhancement ( can be availed by transaction SMOD).
Pre-Requisites
The developer to work on screen exit should have essential knowledge on the following:
DDIC concepts, including the knowledge of append structure.
Concept of SAP Enhancements and implementing them using Projects.
Concept of function exits.
Knowledge on Module Pool u2013 including subscreens, Tabstrip controls etc.
Steps
Guidelines
So, a developer can follow the guidelines mentioned below to implement a screen exit to a standard SAP transaction, as and when required:
Find out the Required Enhancements
Go to SMOD. Press F4 in the Enhancement field. In the next popup window, click pushbutton u2018SAP Applicationsu2019. A list will appear that contains information on all the enhancements, categorized under functional areas. Developer must search for the enhancements relevant to his functional area of interest u2013 for e.g., Purchasing, Asset Accounting, etc.
Note down the enhancements. Then, come to the initial screen of SMOD and view the documentation of each enhancement to find out which one is required for your development.
Utilize the Enhancement in a Project
After you have found one, do as directed in the documentation. Generally, the steps are as follows:
Create a project using CMOD including your enhancement.
Create the append structure with new fields.
Go to the desired function group and create a subscreen with the new fields. Write PBO and PAI for the subscreen, if required.
Use the function exits in the enhancement to link the PBO and PAI of the subscreen with that of the main SAP program supporting the SAP transaction.
Maintain necessary linkage between the subscreen area of standard SAP program with the custom subscreen developed along with the custom program name. This can be done in the project (developed by CMOD including the enhancement) or outside as a part of configuration.
Activate the project.
Test to ensure that required functionality are met.
Case Study 1
Add three new custom fields for Asset master and maintain information for them
Requirement
Three fields in the legacy system have to be maintained in Asset master. These fields are:
Original Asset number u2013 20 characters
Location 2 u2013 15 Characters.
Model no u2013 20 characters
Location 2 should start with u2018Lu2019.
Pre-Analysis
Finding out the Enhancement
As described above, the enhancement is determined. It was found, that enhancement AIST0002 will serve the purpose. It contains the following components (can be viewed by transaction SMOD):
Exit Type Description EXIT_SAPL1022_001 Function Exit Check of User-Defined Fields when Using Create and Change BAPI EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 Function Exit Transfer Data for User Subscreens in PBO. Studying the Function Exits
The function module level documentation for the function exits are then viewed from transaction SE37. The documentation clearly laid out for the purpose for their use:

Function module Level Documentation
This function module is called by asset master data maintenance at the start of the dialog. (When changing, it is called after reading of the data from the database; when creating it is called after the transfer of the default values from the asset class and reference asset.) The purpose of the function module is to enable this function group to recognize the master data. For interpreting or controlling master data fields that are important for user fields, it is possible to transfer to global variables at this point, so that they can be recognized when the user subscreens are processed.
Import Parameters
Understanding
This function module is called at the PBO to pass the information retrieved from the database to pass them to the custom subscreen and its underlying program. Import parameter : I_ANLU will be populated with the values for user-defined fields which will be passed to the subscreen program. So, there must be some sort of variable assignment from I_ANLU.
EXIT_SAPLAIST_003
Function module Documentation: This function module is called by SAP asset master data maintenance after the screens are processed, but before saving. The purpose of the function module is to transfer fields entered on user sub-screens of SAP asset data maintenance to the database for updating. The export parameter for this function module is:
Understanding
This function module will be used to transfer the user entered data in the subscreen fields to the main SAP program, which will then be saved into the database.
Studying the Documentation of the Enhancement
The enhancement documentation (as is viewed from the initial screen of SMOD] also supports the idea. Moreover, it informs that we need to develop a subscreen under function group XAIS. This is the function group under which the two function exit modules also exist. So, if the custom subscreen refers to the global data of the function group XAIS, then those values will also be available to these function exits as well.
Going to SE80 and viewing the function group XAIS helps us to inform that there are three DDIC tables declared for it:
Deciding the Final course of Action
After making all the investigations, the final course of action was determined.
SrlNo Step Justification
A project has to be created using transaction CMOD where the enhancement AIST0002 will be included.
Customizing include CI_ANLU has to be created with the custom fields demanded When CI_ANLU will be developed, the custom fields will get appended to the database table ANLU. Also, these fields will be used to create screen fields in the new subscreen.
A custom subscreen, say, 9000 will be developed under function group XAIS. The screen group for the screen will be u2018CUSTu2019 (or any name). The three custom fields added to table ANLU (by creating CI_ANLU) will be used to create new fields in the screen.
In the PAI of the subscreen, validation for Location to start with u2018Lu2019 will be added. The subscreen with three new fields has to be developed so that it can be attached to a subscreen area of the asset master screens.
In the custom include of the function exit module u2018EXIT_SAPLAIST_002u2019, the following code will be written:-
ANLU = I_ANLU. I_ANLU is the import parameter of this FM. The value is assigned to the global variable ANLU, referring which the three new subscreen fields are developed. So, data retrieved from database table ANLU will be passed to this FM as I_ANLU by the standard SAP main program. The value will be taken and passed to the global variable of the function group XAIS, so that the three custom fields (referring to ANLU of XAIS) get populated.
In the custom include of the function exit module u2018EXIT_SAPLAIST_003u2019, the following code will be written:-
E_ANLU = ANLU. The changed values in the subscreen fields exist in global variable ANLU for the function group XAIS. This function exit module will pass the data back to the SAP main program as E_ANLU.
Proper linkage/configuration has to be done so that the new subscreens get linked to the appropriate subscreen area of the Asset master screen. This has to be done u2013 otherwise, the new custom subscreen will not be displayed in the Asset master screens.
Development
Creating a Project to include the enhancement
Go to transaction CMOD and create a project.
Enter a description for the project. Then, click on the pushbutton u2018Enhancement Assignmentsu2019 in the Application Toolbar.
Enter the name of the enhancement and Save.
Go to u2018Componentsu2019.
Creating Custom Include for ANLU
The screen shown below will appear, showing all the enhancement components under the assignment AIST0002. Double-click on the name of the Include Structure to create it.
Create the include structure with three new fields, as required. Then, save and activate it.
Develop the subscreen and the program
Go to transaction SE80. For the function group XAIS, create a new subscreen 9000.
Create it as subscreen.
Then, go to the Layout of the screen and create three new fields from Database table ANLU.
Drag the fields in the screen body and place them.
Then, save and activate the screen and come back to screen flow editor.
Create the PAI module to add validation for field u201CLocation 2u201D, as required .
Activate the whole function group and come out.
Write code in the Function Exits to synchronize the programs
Now, code has to be written in the function modules EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 and EXIT_SAPLAIST_003 so that data flows to and fro between the main SAP program and custom subscreen program. For that, go back to transaction CMOD and change the function exits.
Write code in the function module EXIT_SAPLAIST_002 called once at the beginning of the transaction:
Write code in EXIT_SAPLAIST_003 to pass the data from the subscreen to SAP main program.
Then, activate everything u2013 the whole project and come out.
Complete the configuration to link the subscreen
The development portion is complete. Now, linking of the subscreen has to be done with the subscreen area of the main program. In most of the cases, this linking can be done in the enhancement itself. But, here, requirement is a bit different. It is done by configuration using SPRO.
Assets are created under Asset class. And for each asset class, there is a layout assigned to it. For a layout, there are multiple tab pages assigned to it. And, for each tab page, there are multiple screen groups/field groups assigned.
Here, the requirement is to create these three custom fields in the tab page u2018Generalu2019 of asset master screen ( AS01/AS02/AS03/AS91).
Determine the Layout
To achieve this, first of all, we need to find out which layout is assigned to asset class 1000.For that, go to transaction AOLK( information has to be obtained from functional consultant).Select the Asset Class u20181000u2019 and click on folder u2018General Assignment of Layoutu2019.
Here, for Asset class 1000, for all the user groups, tab layout SAP is assigned. Since layout u2018SAPu2019 cannot be changed, it has to be copied and manipulated to include our screen group. Later, the new layout has to be assigned over here.
Create new tab layout
Go to transaction AOLA. Copy the tab layout u2018SAPu2019 to create another layout, say, YSUB.
System will copy all the settings and will inform you about that.
Select your newly created layout and double-click on the folder u2018Tab page titlesu2019.
You want to put your custom fields in the tab page u201CGeneralu201D. So, select this tab page entry and double-click on the folder "Position of Groups".
Here, all the field groups currently residing in the tab-page u201CGeneralu201D are shown. Add an entry for your newly created fields.
Select the group box from the list. An entry will come with u201CUu201D padded with the custom subscreen prepared by you.
Then, save and come out.
Assign the new Layout to Asset Class
Now, go to tcode AOLK and assign tab layout YSUB for asset class 1000.
Save and come out.
Test the Exit
Everything is over. Now, go to transaction code AS01/02/03 or AS91 to deal with an asset of asset class 1000. You will see your new fields added to the screen. Add values to themu2026save. Then, enter into the tcodes again to see whether the values entered by you are being displayed or not.

Screen enhancement using BADI not workingin background for program RFRECPSFA520

Hi Gurus,
I implimented the badi BADI_RECP_SF (Enhancement spot BADI_RE_CP_SF) add custom tab with custom field for additional selection criteria.I used the steps provide in BADI documentation. Everything is working fine but when I run the program in background the additional field values are not comming in the method where I need to filter record. Additional field values are populating fine when I run the program in foreground.
Does anybody come accross this issue, any input? Is the screen enhancemnets are only for foreground pocessing?

SRM7.0 RFX screen enhancement with extra tab and save on standard save

I have to do one enhancement in SRM 7.0 where need add one Tab in the Rfx Screen and need to save its data in custom table when user click on standard save button.
any suggesion....

I also have a similar requirement. I need to add three new tabs to contract item screen in SRM 7.0.
I could find some details about enhancement procedures in SRM 7.0.
Mainly important tool, floorplan manager ( FPM ) is used for enhancing the user interface in SRM 7.0. asnd there are some feeder classes i think is required to save the data to the database.
Also, i could find some BADI's which can be used to save and change the data and save it to database.
But, i could not get the step by step procedures how to achieve this task. But, it isure that we should use FPM and feeder class etc.
If you have completed the task, please let me know.
