Custom tool in netwever

Hello Guru,
First time I have started Netwever in my server ecc6.0 in that I have done everything but one problem is coming that one I am not able to find out custom tool through that I can design the screen , when I double click on view , custom tool is not coming , how to get that ?
please help me , I am waiting for your valuable answer .

Whoever wrote the CustomCodeGenerator will have to help you with this one. We know nothing about the underlying code they are using and therefore can't determine the cause.
Appears the error is it can't even load the report so there is something wrong with the workings. Open the report again in CR Designer and Verify Database and then check the changes you did. Something is not right or the DB driver their application is using does not match with what you are using.

Set value TextTemplatingFileGenerator to custom tool property of a t4 template file at run time(programmatically) in an MVC Project

In Solution Explorer we can set the Custom Tool property for a t4 Template file in the Properties window. But can anybody help me doing the same at run time?
I want to assign the value TextTemplatingFileGenerator programmatically to the Custom Tool Property.

Custom Tools panels - designed for vertical screens? [in interface jungle]

This is a really cool feature. But why can not I stick the toolbar vertically on the bottom or top? So as the control bar?
Why all this Ai interface is not intended for displays and vertical work?
I have a wide monitors but still in level in them is wasted.
When working with tools, manufactured home habits, it helps me work faster and without thinking where is the tool. Just reach for instinctively and there.
Current interface Ai acts on the contrary, makes me think of where the tool is retracted and now look at my job as through the keyhole, because so many things are on the right or left.
This presentation is fun, but only as a demo in advertising. : (

LSMW as a customizing tool

Hi all,
We are searching a good method to organize the customizing for a project. We have heard that the LSMW can be used as a customizing tool. That is, for example you save all the customizing for SAP system and you can load this customizing into another system.
Can that be made with LSMW??? Can anyone provide us with some examples about this use of the LSMW??

Custom Tool Bar in Adobe

Hi all,
We have an requirement where in we have to provide a tool bar to the end user to edit the PDF at run time. The user should be able to select elements from the tool bar to add to the form. Is it possible through ALD?? or is there any other ADOBE tool through which we can acheive this?
The user's have been using a Standard Template in MS Word till now, in which custom tool bar was created with Visual Basic Macros, which embeds things in doc file, which become place holders for SAP Data. They can freely edit the doc file to keep or delete what they want as per their requirement.
Can we acheive a simmilar requirement in Adobe?
We have to create such a standard template in PDF.
I tried with ALD 8.0, but i guess we cannot add a custom tool bar with it.

Hi,
As of my knowledge on SAP IFBA custom toolbars or tabs or Upload(in online IFBA i.e. through webdynpro ABAP) functionalities are not supported. If your requirement demands to design these kind of forms then on your own you need to have a work arround. If you design these kind of forms then the performance of the adobe forms get decreases.
If you find any workaround to these functionalities it will be nice if you present them in a Blog.

Import Icon on Custom Tool Button

Hello,
I have a script to add an icon to a custom tool button.
When the script is run from the console in Adobe Professional 9, the tool button with the icon is added to the toolbar.
The tool button needs to be installed on user's computers with Adobe Reader X.
The script was placed as folder level javascript on a user's computer as well as the jpg file for the icon.
When Adobe Reader X was opened the following error was thrown:
TypeError: this.importIcon is not a function
1:Folder-Level:App:Button.js
Can any one please provide assistance on how to get the tool button with the icon to show in Adobe Reader X?

That code can't work in a folder-level JavaScript since importIcon is a method of a document.

Customer Tool use in production

Dear all,
in my project scenario, customer will order for a tool to plant. tool will be purchased by plant with different material number. then plant will bill the tool to customer.
logically after billing, only billing doc will be send to customer but the tool will be stored in customer consignment.
now my question is, this tool iam using in my production routing as PRT. i need to track the tool in my inventory and production. since it is already in customer consignment i cannot do anything.
please share your ideas how to track the tool which is under customer consignment

Hyperion Planning v11 Custom Tools Links

I'm trying to add a custom link to a document placed on the server for users to access. Below is my syntax for the custom tool, but it's not working on the Fusion Planning application. Even I as the admin cannot retrieve this document from the Hyperion tools link. However, this syntax worked on v9.3. Am I writing the syntax incorrectly? The file is on the E-drive within the below server (I placed an example server name called "PlanningServer" rather than the actual server name).

They removed that ability (my guess is for security reasons)
you have 2 options
1) map a drive to that folder for example y: then you make the link y:/directory/filename.ext and paste that in to your URL link. But then you have to make sure everyone is mapped the same way on their computers. I know this works in 11.1.1.3
2) do as John mentioned and upload the file which has additional advantages as you can apply security access to the uploaded file. once you upload it create a smartcut to the file and you are good as gold

How to print/save CL_GUI_ALV_GRID data using button in custom tool bar?

I have a screen 9002 where I have used a CUSTOM CONTAINER and the screen 9002 is called from 9001.
I am showing an ALV GRID in the CUSTOM CONTAINER by using CL_GUI_ALV_GRID.
Screen 9002 also has 2 buttons (PF-STATUS): PRINT and SAVE in application tool bar. Now, I need to print the data of ALV and save the data in excel by pressing these 2 buttons respectively. Please let me know the way-out. If these functionalities can achieved by standard tool of the screen 9002, it will be also OK.

Hi,
Why don't you use the function "excel inplace" in the ALV? With the ALV you have some buttons "SORT/TOTAL/FILTER... and you have PRINT and EXCEL INPLACE"?
Do you use the method call method g_grid->set_table_for_first_display in order to display your data alv?

My custom Tool tip on spark data Grid don't work ?

I want to add panel component as my tooltip for each row in my Spark DataGrid. So when mouse rollover the user can see the information for each the ship. I want a panel as my tooltip for dataGrid cause I want to organize my data neatly and also place a image in the panel.

Ok I was getting ready to post the renderer code and then found the problem. I had copied this code from another renderer which had contentBackgroundAlpha=0 in the MXAdvancedDataGridItemRenderer tag. When I removed it, the style of the TextArea worked as intended. Your comment helped me to take a closer look at the renderer code, so thank you.

Custom Tool Brush Panel Problems

I'm trying to create a ToolBrush Set that will hold my own custom presets which I can save independently of Photoshops Tool Preset Tab. I can't create a 'create a new toolset' button as you see in the image.
I want to save the custom brushes in this tab to a specific file or directory if possible ?

My rocker switches on all my pens had been reset for Adobe programs but still read as right click whenever not in Adobe which the Cintiq assumes is any second my pen is not on the screen- grabbing for my brush with the rocker switch still in right click mode (a quarter of and inch from the screen) was the problem. Custom tool bar for sorting and summing in alv grid

what is the function module to use the tool bar in the alv output screen which has - summing , sorting and other button above the alv grid control.

It is part of the class CL_GUI_ALV_GRID. Have a look at this class, especially the methods within this class, and search for 'SORT' or 'TOTAL' using the button with 'Binoculars' icon.
