Customer Credit control limit options Period and Value

Hi All,
Can any body suggest or help regarding my requirement.
I know the standard credit management process which is based on the credit limit Value which will be maintained in the FD32.
But My requirement is
-->Credit limit based on the period
-->Credit limit based on the value.
-->Credit limit based on the period and value.
1.If I activate credit limit based on the period, customer order should be blocked when the customer exceeds 15 days credit limit- is there any standard option on this
2.If I activate Credit limit based on the value, customer order should be blocked when the customer exceeds credit limit value which is maintained in FD32.
3.If I activate Credit limit based on the period and value, customer order should be blocked when the customer exceeds credit limit period and value.
Is this possible in the standard credit management !
or this is possible only through workaround
Provide me the document if available
Regards,
Murali.

Hi all,
In addition to previous requirement.
We also need to take consideration under scenario also.
For example
One customer taken the goods from 1st to 15th, actually he has to pay the credit amount on or before 30th if he is not able to pay on 30th system should block the further sales orders(i.e. from next month 1st onwards).
is this option available in he standard !
Can any body help on this ASAP.

Murali.

  • Additional Results Custom Step using Variables in Name and Value to Log expressions?

I am trying to create a Custom Step Type for logging additional results - requiring a single Name and Value data pair included in the step.
I want to pass the name and value data in using two specific variables.
This functionality can of course be explicitly coded on a test step without problem, but I can't find a way to create a custom test step which inserts such a step i.e. automatically inserting the correct variable names into Name and Value to Log fields.
Any ideas how to accomplish this? I don't want the custom step users to have to type in the variable names every time they use it.
    I am using TestStand 4.1.1
Message Edited by CIM1 on 04-20-2009 07:26 AM

    Hi CIM1,
There are a few ways of doing this.
The simplest one would be to configure the expression in the Pre-Expression or Post-Expression (depending on whether you would like the Step Type to use the value in the variables or write the value to the variables) and then from here you can lock away the expressions from being edited. The caveat with this method is that you are obviously restricing the Pre/Post-Expressions for the step type.
Another Method would be to code some code modules to Write to/Read from the Variables and then calling these in the Steps Pre-Step SubStep or Post-Step Substep. The advantages of this method would be that you can search for the Variable, and if the variable is not present, you could create it before writing to it.
    Hope this Helps.

  • Possible to control space after periods and commas?

There's a font i'd like to use as a body text font, but sometimes the spaces after periods and commas are inadequate. Is there a way to control this in InDesign? or must this be resolved by manipulating the font in a font editor?
    thanks
    Kurt Hoffman

but sometimes the spaces after periods and commas are inadequate...
I'm not sure either solution will really work well with justified text.
When you say sometimes, it sounds like your text is justified and the space after periods is variable. Peter's GREP solutions would track the space after a period but the amount would still be variable when the text  is justified. So you could also look at the Justification setting for the style:
The default Justification setting which allows a significant difference between min and max word spacing, and no difference in letter spacing:
Changing the Word Spacing to 90% | 100% | 120% and the letter spacing to -2% | 0% | 2% creates a more consistent space after the periods.

  • Need to submit custom report when email option chkd and po approved

    Hi All,
We use R12, our requirment is to submit a custom report when PO is approved.
Not in all cases we need this. when user select 'Approve' option for a Manually created PO,
and in the Approval form, when the User selects 'Email' check box and approves it.
Irrespective of value that is given in email field, when that Email check box is checked and PO is approved, then the custom report should get submitted.
For this our funtional team is requesting to copy the PO approval Workflow and write a event there.
But I feel this can be achived in much easier way. But not getting any ideas.
Can anyone let me know what could be the best and effective way than modifying Workflow.
    Can we do with custom.pll.
where I would check if the email check box is checked in the box and if the approve button is pressed then to launch the custom report.
One more doubt, can we get the values that are being enterd in the form. I mean, if the po number is 55, in the custom.pll
can we get that value into our custom.pll code, which i need pass as a prameter to the report.
    Please through any ideas. Thanks

  • Custom page : displaying attribute display name and values

    Hi !!
I'm developping a specific screen. I have a zone where I want to display a list of fields with a label containing the display name of an attribute and with a textbox containg the value of the attribute.
For now, I'm doing that like this :
    - In a region, for each attribute I create a MessageTextInput with these properties :
View Instance : the view that gets the attributes values
View Attribute : the attribute I want to display in this field
Prompt : a hard coded label that corresponds to the attribute.
I know this isn't the right approach and I'm looking for a better way to do that as there is some bad sides :
    - my view object gets all the attributes of an attribute group. If I add an attribute to the attribute group, it will not be displayed in my page. I'll have to add it manually and reimport the xml.
    - if I change the display name, I will also have to manually edit the xml file and reimport it
    - I want a multi-language screen : if I'm connected in english I want my screen to display the attribute's english display name, and if I'm connected in french I want my screen to display the attribute's french display name.
So how can I do it ?
Is there an region or item which has a "View Instance" property and that is able to display items depending on the view fields ?
Will I have to manually write a controller that builds this page dynamically ?
    Thanks a lot

You have to use personalization and add a messageTextInput and set the prompt, viewInstance and viewAttribute properties. You can get your prompt translated using the translate options in Manage Levels page in personalization tool or use XLIFFExtractor and XLIFFImporter to manually do translations.
Read OA Personalization guide for details.

& in OB38 assign company code to this credit control area.
    Hope this fixes your Problem

    Follow these steps:
    1. Go to IMG - enterprise structure - definition - financial accounting - define credit control area.

    3. Go to OVAK select ur sales document type and in the check credit column choose from A B or C. D is for automatic credit control for which you have to maintain the credit group and risk categories.

What are the different types of credit checks?
    By Sunilmadho
    Credit Check can be :
    1) Simple Credit Check
    2) Automatic Credit Control
Automatic Credit Control can be at various levels :
    1) Order
    2) Delivery
    3) Goods Issue
Automatic Credit Check is of many types :
    1) Static
    2) Dynamic
    3) MaximumDocument Value
    4) Maximum Open Items in percentage
    5) Oldest Open Item in number of days
    6) Crtitical fields change
    7) Highest dunning level, etc.
    You can create more.
Credit Check happens only in SD module, never in FI. Because the stage of the check is in the sales cycle, which exists in SD. FI guys will check the credit master sheets of the customer, the MIS, the analysis etc, review the credit limits of customers. But the check will happen only in SD, while creating order, delivery or doing the goods issue.

  • Is it possible to create a sales order in two credit control area

    Hi,experts,
I have a senario to realize. One customer has two sales area, and has two credit control area correspondingly. And this customer also has one common shared credit control area. I want to realize that one sales order would occupy two credit control area.
common credit control area limit :  300
           credit control area A limit : 500
           credit control area B limit : 500
Now I have a sales order for this customer, net value is 400, the sales order will be blocked. Although it does not supass the credit control area A, but supass the common credit control area limit
    How to realize this senario?
    Thanks.

    wayne,
Sales order has one credit control area, check VBAK-KKBER
Therefore order should be checked against this CCA.

  • Assign Company Codes to new Credit Controlling areas after going live.

    Dear FI Experts;
    Our Status Now:
We Have 3 Company Codes, CC 1000, 2000, 3000 and one Credit Controlling Area Code 0001, and the Customers are assigned to this Credit Controlling area with no problems and we are live since about 9 months ago.
    Requirement:
We have a requirement to split the Customer Credit limit between companies, which means we have to create more credit control areas for example CCA 0002, and 0003, and though assign our 3 company codes to the new credit control areas, as follows:
    CC 1000 to CCA 0001
    CC2000 to CCA 0002
    CC3000 to CCA 0003
And my Question is, what is the procedures to follow to do that (Not a Customization Procedures, I mean the How the Customers would be affected and the open items for them and how to resolve that), since as mentioned above we are already live since 9 months ago, and credit management is active and all our customers are assigned to our old Credit control area 0001, and also what is the consequence of doing that new assignment since we are live, thanks for your reply

You will need to manage to create new credit master data under new credit control area. System should reorganize existing credit data after reassignment, that is when you change master data (create credit master under new credit control area), new credit exposure is calculated based on AR in company code and existing open orders will get rechecked for credit under new credit control area & new risk categories assigned to them.

  • Credit Control Area Management

    Dear All
As part of Enhancement,  we are configuring the "Customer Credit management" with Credit Control area organizational object.
Client has identified to use "Decentralized" Credit control management,  but however,  all comapny codes are assigned with one controlling area since implementation (since 2.5 years).
Though Credit Control area was assigned during implementation, it was actually not used.  Now they wanted to use the same.  However,  they wanted different Credit controlling area for different company codes.
However,  If I am assigning new Credit controlling area now to respective company codes, then system is considering the AR transaction data posted from the date it is assigned.  but, we want new credit control areas to consider all the data from past 2.5 years.  Is this possible?
If possible, please help, how to fix this.
    Your help highly appreciated
    best regards
    S Habib Pasha.

    Hi Habib
There is a standard SAP program that lets you revamp all the entered data to their correct credit control area and the steps involved are:
u2022     Table dumps of KNKK, S066, S067 on the old Credit Control Area
u2022     Check and export the values from Report VKM4 to ascertain the number of blocked orders
    u2022     In SM30, Update the Tables T014n and T001cm
u2022     Go to Transaction OB38 and assign your new CCA as default for the company codes
    u2022     Run the transaction F.28/RFDKLI20 execute without any parameters {check the test run output}
    u2022     Execute Program RVKRED09 {might not be required u2013 since RFDKLI20 does redo the credit check}
u2022     Validate VKM4 for all blocked orders
u2022     If there were any discrepancy between AR receivables and the Credit Master, it can be viewed by executing the Program RFCORR40
Also make sure that if you are using the different CCA for the same Co Code, in OB38 - you have checked the 'Overwrite CCA'' check box.
Hope this helps you; let me warn you - its a very tedious process and it might take a whole weekend to run this in a Production Client
    Good luck

  • Credit Control per Sales Division

    Hi SAP Guru's,
How can I set up a Credit Control System based on Sales Divisions?
For example: A company has two divisions: X and Y. Customer John purchases from both these divisions. Now how can I set up the Credit management policies per division such that if the outstanding arrears of John > USD $ 50,000 in Division X then his sales order is blocked but he is still allowed to purchase from Division Y. John’s Division Y Credit limit is USD $ 100,000
    Thanks,
    Ketan

    Hi Ketan,
    Try the following.
    1) Create two different sales areas since you would be having two different divisions, also create two different credit control areas.Say your first Sales Area is 1000 10 10  and the second Sales Area is 1000 10 20, and your credit control area is K088 and KO89.
    2) Assign the Sales Area 1000 10 10, to K088 and Assign 1000 10 20, TO K089, under the assignment Assign Sales Area to Credit Control Area
    3) Next create a  customer No 2000 for the sales area 1000 10 10 by using T Code XD01(Customer Master Creation). Now in the billing tab page of the sales area data, see that the field credit control area is activated. Assign K088 in the credit control area.
    4) Create the same customer 2000 for different sales area which would be 1000 10 20, the system will allow you since the sales area differs. Now assign the credit control area K089 in the billing tab page for this sales area
    5) Go to FD32 and your input would be the customer and the credit control area hence create this by giving Customer 2000 and K088 and assign the credit limit for K088 credit control area.
    6) Again go to FD32 input the same customer only this time give the credit control area as K089 and assign the credit limit for K089.
    Check if this works

  • More than one Credit control area to a company code

    Hi Experts,
I have assigned one credit control area(1000) to a company code and for the same company code i have assigned permitted credit control areas (2000 & 3000).
I have 3 business areas(BA). when a customer involved in 3 business area, 3 different credit limit is fixed in 3 credit contorl area.
But when i post entries in business areas through F-22(Invoice entry) and F-29 (Down Payment receipt) the effect goes to 1000 credit control area only.
how to over come this problem?????????
the requirement is when is post entry in F-22 or F-29 for business area 2 & 3, the effect should go to respective credit control area 2000 & 3000....
Please help me to solve this problem...

    Hi
I am going through a similar situation:
    1. Currently we have one company code 9060 attached to one Credit control area 9060.
    2. Now we have to introduce few more credit control areas, 906P and 906T to represent 3 diffierent business units.
I have assigned CCA 906P, 906T as permitted CCA's for company code 9060. CCA 9060 is the default CCA for company code 9060.
    3. We do not currently use Business Area.
Since you have already gone through a similar task, you may be able to pass me some hints.
    1. How do you convert all the current customer open receivable sitting against the CCA 9060 to reflect either CCA 906P or 906T?
    2. To allocate payments from customers to the customer accounts, how would you make ensure that the correct credit control area is assigned (and not the default CCA 9060)
    3. How did the substitution rule works? Does this depend Business Area?
    4. Is it hard to introduce Business Area functionality? and what does this involve?
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks

  • Credit Control Issue

    Hello All,
I want to know the importance of following field in OVA8 (Maintenance of Automatic Credit Control)
    1) Checks in Financial Accounting/ old A/R summary
         Payer
Permitted Days  --               Permitted Hours ---
I want to give some grace period say 2/3 days over defined credit days in payment terms. So that the system will active the credit control after grace period i.e. say if my credit days is set as 30 days, currently the systems gives error if payment not received in 30 days. i want the system to give grace days time and then give error i.e. after 33 days.
Can i use the above functionality. If yes how it will work
Note: Increasing the days in payment terms will not solve my problem as i want this grace period for internal use only.
    thanks.

    Hi
    Permitted Ageing in Days/hours
Permitted aging of A/R summary in days/hours.
The system uses the permitted aging in days and hours to verify whether the data in the A/R summary is still acceptable for credit check purposes. If the existing data in the A/R summary exceeds the aging set in days and hours, the system sets the status "A/R summary obsolete".
You may be able to avoid this status by scheduling the program which generates the A/R summary in FI more often or (in a distributed scenario) by going to the Financial Accounting IMG and choosing Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable -> Credit Management -> Credit Control Account -> Make basic settings for credit management and stipulating that the credit check in SD should check the data in central financial accounting against the current data if the A/R summary is obsolete in one case.
    Hope this clarifies your doubt.

  • Automatic credit control

We use in our company automatic credit control. For one of our customers not credit control data have been maintened (fd32) therefore there is no credit group assigned to him.
When I try to make a sales order for this customer, the automatic credit control is turned on and I am unable to save the order since the next review data has passed (it is a check field in the automatic credit control for all customers that have credit control data).
    Any opinions?

    Hi,
If the customer concerned is not relevant for credit check, please remove the risk catigory under status screen in FD32

  • Two credit control are at the same sales order.

    Hello Gurus,
I would like to know how if you can help with the following subject:
    I have two sales area:
    XXXX YY A1
    XXXX YY A2
And for each sales area it´s assigned two credit control areas, like:
XXXX YY A1  to credit control area A
XXXX YY A2  to credit control area B
Is it possible to create a sales order with these two sales area?
We need to have credit control limit differents for sales area (customers), but also we like two have only one sales order to manage. Is it possible?
    Many thanks in advanced.
    Luiz Geraldi

    Hi Luiz,
In sales booking screen VA01 t-code we have the following fields as necessary input.
    Order Type
    Sales organization
    Distribution channe
    Division
    Sales office
    Sales group
All these fields need to be unique in order to save this document.
So we can input any number of materials provided the above details are unique.
We can have more than 1000 line items, but all these materials need to be in a single sales organization, distribution channel and division.
As this is a standard SAP functionality, i am afraid there is no customization by which we can change this (as far i my knowledge goes)
Hope i am right in my approach,
    correct me if i am wrong;
    Let me know if you have further concerns;
    Regards,
    Syed Nasir
