Customer interface - sales channel, price list and tax calculation

We need to let third party system to upload new customer information into OFS, but I can't see the above 3 fields:
1 sales channel,
2 price list
3 tax calculation
in the interface tables. The interface tables that I am working on are:
ra_customers_interface_all
ra_customer_profiles_int_all
ra_contact_phones_int_all
ra_customer_banks_int_all
ra_cust_pay_method_int_all
is there other interface table that allow us to set the value of above 3 fields?
we are using 11i.

Are you creating Sales Order with any reference ? In case of ref. , must be User has changed it at Header Level.
Else , it could be due to Authorization Object maintained on that user ID. Kindly coo-rdinate with BASIS Cosultant.

  • Issue in Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud)

    Hello Everyone,
I would like to have a discussion on the issues, which I am facing at the time of Exporting the Sales Price List and Purchase Price List for the Materials from
    SAP Business ByDesign (SAP Cloud).
    (1). Sales Price List :
We have maintained Customer Group Specific Sales Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :         Product and Service Portfolio Work Center > Pricing > Price Lists > Customer Group Specific Price List (Type of Price List)
Target :             We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :          Number of Materials in the Customer Group Specific Price List is more than 2,00,000
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can filter by number of records but we can export till  50,000 records.
And if we are trying to export records more than that limit, then it throws "HTTP 500 Internal Server Error".
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product and Service Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center
for getting the entire record set of the Sales Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Sales Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Sales Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
    (2). Purchase Price List :
We have maintained the Purchase Price List for the Materials in the following Location.
Location :           Product Portfolio Work Center > List Prices > Active List Prices (Type of Price List)
Target :               We want to export the entire records in some reports or excel sheet.
Records :            Number of Materials in the Purchase Price List is more than 4,00,000.
    Issues :
(A). In the SAP Business ByDesign Screen we can not see more than 10,000 records and the actual number of
records are more than 4,00,000. We could able to download the records till 10,000 but that is not sufficient.
We want to export the entire records in an excel sheet.
(B). We could not find any SAP standard reports in Product Portfolio and/or Business Analytics Work Center for
getting the entire record set of the Purchase Price List, so that we can have the entire set of records together.
    Searching For :
(A). Is there any SAP reports or data source available for getting the entire Purchase Price List records?
(B). Can we have any other filter conditions for exporting the Purchase Price List records in a single shot or module wise?
Please go through the attached screen shots for the references and more clarity on the issues.
I am waiting for the valuable responses.

  • Is there an API or Open Interface to convert Price Lists?

    Hi,
Is there an API or Open Interface to convert Price Lists?
What are the additional setups needed to do implement Price Lists ?
Im new to Advnaced Pricing and Order Managment.
    Thanks and Regards,
    MPH

There is the Price List Setup API (QP_Price_List_PUB.Process_Price_List) which you'll find details for in the Order Management APIs manual and the Price List Bulk Loader which is detailed in the QP user guide plus there's lots of good info and example scripts on My Oracle Support.
Apart from qualifying your price list header as per your business requirement (in other words, restricting its use to particular OUs, customers, products, order types etc.), in the simplest case the price list itself can be just a simple list of discrete items with their associated prices. However, you may also need to consider:
<li> Multicurrency - do you want to have multiple price lists, one for each currency, or one price list in a base currency with multicurrency conversions in the background? (the latter being much the easiest to maintain).
<li> Is your business requirement best served by pricing by discrete inventory item codes? by item categories? by pricing attributes? (this being the mapping of some properties of your data to a named pricing attribute, the value being collected from a lookup, entered at order entry, or derived via custom PL/SQL),
<li> Consider using secondary price lists if this allows your pricing information to be structured better
<li> Do you intend to enter a fixed value against each price list line or to calculate a price by way of a dynamic or static formula?

  • Change Log needed at price list and special prices

Tracking changes made to the price list and special prices by BP is a valuable control function missing that needs to be included in future.

I was told by my Implementation Partner that it is possible to import and update price list by using the Import function that is available in SBO.  To do this:
    1. From your sales quotation with the agreed prices - export to excel.
    2. Change the format to list: Product code, Price list to update, New price, Currency
    3. Save the file as tab delimited text
    4. Import into SBO using the Administration, Data Import/Export, Data Import, Import from Excel option.
    5. Choose Item type to import
    6. In the B line, choose Price List Code, the list updates to show only the fields relevant to price list updates
    7. Press OK and follow rest of instructions to complete the import.
I found the above to be simple, repeatable and reliable enough to solve my initial question.

  • Which one to use - Customer Interface or TCA APIs? And why?

    Hi,
Please let me know the answer for the following questions. I have a legacy system in 11.0.3 (which does not have the TCA architecture) and the customers have to be moved to R12. I could get the details in different flat files for the import from source system. Which is the approach I should use?
    1) What does customer interface does NOT do which the TCA APIs can do?
    2) Doesn’t the customer interface use the TCA API within it?
    3) Is it better to use APIs than customer interface? If so, why and what are the criterions I should look for for deciding on what to use?
    Highly appreciate the help.
    Thanks,

For customer interface, just right a program to validate the source data and insert into open interface table, submit the import program and view output for errors. Much easy to maintain than API.
API need a certain level of programming and you will need to investigate for all the flow of creating a customer and their corresponding create procedure to call..

  • Price List including TAX

    Hello experts
I have a Price List that includes Tax. At present, if I raise an Invoice, SAP will automatically add Tax to each line however, what I would like to achieve is the following:
    1. No Tax should be added.
    2. The Price List amount should be worked out backwars as follows:
    Tax Rate = 20 %
Item Price in Price list  Item001= 120
    A/R Invoice line = Item001 Gross = 120, Item001 Tax = 20, Item001 Net= 100
How can I achieve this so the Price List is automatically split into Net + Tax = Price List priice.
The reason for this requirement is that we publish our prices to the public and these include VAT, so we need to end up exactly with the same price as our published price.
    Thank you for your help
    Robert

    Hello Robert...
Believe it or not, I have been thinking about this thread since it was posted - I once implemented SAP B1 for a company who had a veritable walking Tax Standards as their CFO.  Everything this fellow discussed somehow ended up as a discussion about taxes!  He required a taxation projection similar to what you described - it took us some time but we came to the penny for what he was looking for.  So before answering with a rather complicated reply, I think there might be a way depending upon the combination of the answers to the following (not being an expert in British taxation):
    A few questions for you:
    1.  Is the VAT always a set figure of 20% (or can it vary from area to area as it does here in the US)?
    2.  Is the publication sent to your customers created from SAP B1 (or externally by sales personnel/management/etc)?
    3.  Do you use the internal SAP B1 Tax Report (or is it exported/manually created)?
    4.  Does your company have a policy that allows over/underpayments of invoices?
    5.  How many decimal points do you have on SAP B1 for your product and documents?
    6.  Are variances allowed by the taxing authorities (or does it have to be penny to penny in sales and taxes collected)?
Still thinking here and might work out some drafts this weekend, depending upon your replies I would work one up.
    Regards,
    Zal
PS - is this the Robert from the famous thread once posted in 2009 where an SAP person asked if we had seen the latest and greatest in SAP B1 land?  I believe that Robert had a real uphill battle getting SAP B1 working in his company because the initial partners did not understand the nominal accounts and other items.  If so, I have a funny story to share with you from May (the last time I was in Waldorf Germany - send a note to zalparchem-at-bellsouth-dot-net for that).

  • Price List and Last Purchase Price.

When a Price List based on the Last Purchase Price is created, we have found that a set of problems arise in companies using u201CGoods Receipt POu201D.
    EXAMPLE:
Every article received from their suppliers are enclosed with a GOODS RECEIPT.
After 20 days, the supplier issue an invoice including all the Goods Receipts provided during the corresponding month.
Recall that the company has a List Price based on the Last Purchase price.
But, since the Goods Receipt do not update the Last Purchase Price, all new articles in the database, are kept without a Selling Price, and the old articles are not subject to an updated Selling Price.  I enclose a draft to show this behavior.
You may note that SAP HELP explains:
1.In addition, two price lists are automatically created and calculated by the system:
        - Last purchase price list u2013 the price list is automatically updated when an item enters the stock with its entering price.
        - Last evaluated price list u2013 the price list is automatically updated after you run the Inventory Valuation report.
    But this does not happen.
Selling Prices are only updated when the corresponding invoice is entered, but this happen too late, since the invoice issued 20 days after by the supplier.
In other words, it does not work properly for the company.   The example shows:
    1 Goods Receipt PO
2 Item master data with Price calculated alter Goods Receipt processing
3 base Price driven to zero.
If Goods Receipts do not update the last Purchase, is not easy to understand why a Selling Price can be based in the Las Purchase Price.
Our customer and me, think that there is a programming error.
Otherwise, the system behavior has not be properly explained to SAP users.
The described facts happen with SAP 2007A PL 49, and SAP 8 PL 5, both versions properly tested
That we need:  That Goods Receipt update the last purchase Price and Price List could be constructed don Item bases cost.

    Hi Dana,
I'm not sure if this will solve your problem, but, you can create a new price list which is based on the "Last Purchase Price" and set as a factor of 1.65. I'm not sure if the "Last Purchase Price" updates from the Goods Receipt or the PO though?
Does this sound like it might solve your problem?

  • Open Interface for Approved Supplier Lists and Sourcing Rules

    Hi All,
Is there an open interface or an API available for Appeoved Supplier Lists and Sourcing Rules.
    Thanks and Regards,
    MPH

    Hi sandeep,
I prefer to use the API mentioned.
However this is in Oracle Manufactirung and we dont use that module instead I want to define them in Oracle Purchasing.
can I still do it in Purchasing using the same API.
Further as per the document there are 3 entities
    01) Sourcing Rule/Bill of Distribution
    02) Receiving Organization
    03) Shipping Organization
Do I need to define all 3 in order to make it work?

Fexes are really made to connect hosts and not switches .  So the ports should not see bpdu's so bpduguard is err-disabling the ports.
    Spanning Tree Protocol
HIFs go down with the BPDUGuard errDisable message
HIFs go down accompanied with the message, BPDUGuard errDisable.
    Possible Cause
By default, the HIFs are in STP edge mode with the BPDU guard enabled.  This means that the HIFs are supposed to be connected to hosts or  non-switching devices. If they are connected to a non-host device/switch  that is sending BPDUs, the HIFs become error-disabled upon receiving a  BPDU.
    Solution
Enable the BPDU filter on the HIF and on the peer connecting device.  With the filter enabled, the HIFs do not send or receive any BPDUs. Use  the following commands to confirm the details of the STP port state for  the port:

  • Changing the base price for service tax calculation

    Hi
i have and PO order with basic price say for 100 /- on which it is calcuating service tax 12% , e-cess 2% hcess--1 .This is coming thru tax code from the tax procedure and these taxes service/ecess /Hecess is to be posted to sepearte G/L account. This is working fine.
Now my requirement is that i want to calculate service tax on some % of the base price say 70 % of the base price. The % will always be changing .i want to calculate service tax on the 70/- not on 100.
i want that system should post this 100 /- to cost of service but the tax should be on whatever percentage i make .Here this is 12.36 % on 70 not on 100 at the time of invoice posting.
    please guide me
    regards

    Hi,
For this you have to maintain the all your charges in your pricing procedure along with each charge you have to maintain 3 condition types for service and chesses.
    Ex:
step counter cond.type des.                   from                 to
    1 1 P000 Gross Price
    1 2 P001 Gross Price
    25 0 JM00 Water front royalty                 1
    26 0 ser1 service                                  25
    27 0 edu1 educationcess                      26
    28 0 edu2 se.edu.cess ;                        26
    29 0 jm01 Port Dues                                1
    30 0 ser1 service                                   29
    31 0 edu1 educationcess                       30
    32 0 edu2 se.edu.cess                           30
like this you have to built your pricing procedure in a m/08. after that for you want the service tax automatically so for that you have to put the accesses sequence in you service condition types (ser, edu1,edu2).in m/06.
After that you have to maintain info record for that material and import vendor. in me11 in that in condition tab you have to maintain percentage for ser, edu1, edu2 . the system will  calculate the service charges automatically.
    Thanking you,

  • Floater accrual interest and tax calculation

I have one secutity ID 353022, in security position cash flow as attached, I want to know how accrued interest to pay 36422.22 is calculated, which interest rate it is applied? also how interest deduction inc. reclaim tax 88254.83 is derived?

    Hi,
to answer your first question, accrued interest interest to pay (or the Update type 'SE8702') is calculated based on the amount, the coupon rate applicable (in your case 2.1160 if I read it correctly), the period between the last coupon payment date (in your case 15.09.2014) and the current bond purchase date (in your case 16.11.2014) and finally the number of days in a year (depending on the interest rate method applicable).
regarding the second question - I would guess interest deduction inc. reclaim tax or the Update type 'SE3006' is generated as a result of the Flow type '0306' and as the Flow category is 'Other Flow/ Condition', it is just entered manually.
    hope this will help you.
    Kind regards,
    Renatas

  • How to link two lists and do calculations using infopath 2010

Hi Everyone. I am stuck in a bad situation and need your help to solve this problem i am facing.
I have two lists named Master and Slave.here i am maintaining the costs for each new project which i will be handling.in the master list i will only enter the project name and the total budget allowed for that perticular project.  in my slave list
i am having quite a few entries like project name, amount required, balance and approval status.
Now, for each project i will be entering multiple line items in my slave list as per cost of each line item. based on the amount required field of my slave list the calculation has to be done like
[BALANCE]  =  [Master List BUDGET value adjuscent to the relevant PROJECT NAME]-[slace list AMOUNT REQUIRED] .once the approval has been done the [BUDGET] value of the Master Page Should automatically get reduced based on the
[AMOUNT REQUIRED] value of the slave list.
i tried to google this out but i couldn't find any useful link. i want to achieve this only by using the INFOPATH 2010.

It is not possible to achieve this through only InfoPath. The reason is because the form in which you submit the slave list will not change the master list.
If you can be sure that once you approve items here that it won't be removed, then you could do a workflow after approval that takes your current budget number and then reduces it by the approved amount. If it does change, you could always do adjustment
items in the slave list for negative amounts.
