Customer Support does not exist at Adobe

UK customer support does not exists in the UK for Adobe.
I have been calling for 4 days. Yesterday I waiting with music on the Customer Support line for 1hr 20mins with music.
I have called the sales line 4 times and can get through within 2 rings. Adobe this is terrible.
I then log a call online and I just have pending - waiting verification. I have now also tried the online support "chat" only to get a message that it is not available. Come on Adobe this is awful, it 10:30 on a Friday - why no support al all.

Your situation was the same as mine. I think it is very cool that Adobe allow us 'switchers' (PC to MAC) to get a new license key. It does after all teat us with respect as customer and provide some brand loyalty. However. The problem is that the process and support for doing so it just awful. Terribly awful.
In my case, and I recommend to you, phone the freephone sales line number and ask to be put through to support. That way it costs Adobe for the time you are waiting on hold. In my case this was several calls waiting for about an hour+ each time. I was prepared ultimately to wait, but not to pay for Adobe help desk disaster. So there is a tip: Freephone sales line for any connection with Adobe.
Next tip download the 'Certificate of destruction form' and log an online support call and post the completed for in there, signed by you. This is will save you a bit of time. Next you have to phone support, but then you have to call customer service again. So there are several steps you have to go through.
This all took me weeks and tons of calls so hopefully I will reduce the number of calls you have to make with this tip?
Next tip. Watch out for the support folk cancelling your on-line support request. I had to repeatedly open calls and they cancelled them!
Next problem I had was Adobe agreed that I would just pay for postage of the new CD kit, but instead the charges my credit card for the full product including postage. I complained to my credit card company and they raised objection to Adobe. I was refunded the product cost, but of course they cancelled my card and I had to wait for a new one. Tip here is to use a card that is not critical to you life in the real world, because like me you might have to cancel your credit card as a result of dealing with Adobe. Nice one.
Why oh why as an online company do Adobe allow us to download the software and provide a key - all done over the wires. Having CD kits delivered is not environmental good and its a waste of time and effort. This is something of 10 years ago. This whole process must have cost Adobe more than the product was worth! The process had so many touch points in their organisation, this inefficiency must be very/very expensive for them. (and a waste of time for me)
We'll I might one day buy an Adobe product again, but I will first see if a competitive product will suit me better before I do.
I do think their products are cool, but they could be much more successful if they asked me into their office to tell them what and how to fix their customer interactions. I would happily contribute.

    Looks like those classes are missing from your Flash Builder installation.
    Can you check in installdir/plugins/com.adobe.flexbuilder.debug.xxx/com/adobe/flexbuilder/debug/
    If those files are missing, do a complete uninstall and then install.

    (Customer PC3000 does not exist (please change entry in plant 3000)
    Vendor maintained both the plant(supply and receeving plant)
    Customer maintained both the company code and sales org.(supply and receeving plant) then also Iam getting same error.
    I had checked OMGN t-code setting looks good.
    Same setting I had tested on DEV and SANDBOX its wokring fine.
    Please help me out how to solve this problem

    I am facing similar problem, When trying to create a PO for Intercompany stock transfer, I am getting the error message Customer XXX does not exist (Please change the entry in Plant XXXX).
    This error is appearing only in the Production system, but PO is getting created in Quality system. All the Master data, Configuration in both systems appears same. If you know any solution, kindly post.

  • Custom segment does not exist for message type Debmas_cfs

    I have created a custom segment YEXTRA for basic type DEBMAS06.
    I have done the configuration in We82 and We20.
    I have implemented the segment in User Exit "EXIT_SAPLVV01_001". Now when I am executing the TCODE BD12  then it is creating the Idoc with custom segment. But when I apply the filter on sales org in BD64 then it starts giving me error that " Segment Y**** does not exist for message type DEBMAS_CFS.
    Kindly suggest if I need to do some other configuration also.

    when i checked in R/3, thecustomer group is maintained ,but its not maintained in CRM .
    So i need to solve this and reprocess the BDOC.
    SO there are two procedures for this:
    1>where we can download the DNL_CUST_SALES through the Tcode R3as and
    2>where we maintain the customer Group in CRM Production system directly   OR
    Since i don't have Authorisation for change or creat ,so i maintained the customer Group in Development client and transported to Quatlity.
    Please let me no whether this correct or not.

  • Customer Service DOES NOT EXIST

    2 weeks to the day, and Infinity connection drops, DSL light constantly flashing green trying to connect.  Call tech. helpline and they have me do the usual jump through hoops to make sure that I was not stupid enough to unplug a cable and forget about it, power cycle the modem followed by the home hub-no good.  Next reset the modem, no good!! then asks me to reset the home hub to factory settings? I asked why? and was given the response 
    "sometimes it helps"
    I explained that the home hub is acting purely as a router and could not be connected to the MODEM being unable to connect.  I explained it like this - its like switching the TV set on and off trying to get a VHS player to work! she agreed and arranged to send and engineer to the CAB as the results of the line test show there is a fault. 
    So Wednesday the connection goes down, Thursday has an engineer appointment between 1-6pm.  
    Thursday comes and by 530pm no engineer!!! I HAVE TO CALL up to be told that the engineer has been cancelled due to lack of resources, the call centre staff explained it probably means that they had to much wok on.  ANOTHER appointment is arranged for Friday again between 1-6pm - hopefully this will get fixed hahahaha
    Friday 8am!!! get a call saying that the engineer has been CANCELLED again!!! why? why? why? I ask...to be told that the engineering team have cancelled it as they want to carry out, and I quote "remote settings".  After trying to get to the bottom of this he agrees to transfer me to his manager-WHO DOES NOT START TILL 12PM UK TIME.  Great more time wasted.  Manager calls me and informs me that no "remote" settings have to be fixed and I have to have an appointment now for Saturday 1-6pm (so Wednesday to Saturday great work bt).  
    I explain that thats not good enough and asked why the appointment was cancelled, he carried on saying how it was an error as was Thursdays appointment, I asked what he mean by that and he explained that it was 2 incorrectly entered engineer appointments and thats why I had a no show from the engineer.  I explained that when I was called at 8 am the guy had called the engineering team to find out why and they said about the remote settings so why are you telling me about errors on the system?  he would call me back after he had looked into it.  15 mins later and he calls saying they do need to carry out remote settings but not till the appointment Saturday!  I ask if I can have my original slot back for Friday and said NO and he would have to call me back to confirm the app. for Saturday as its not letting him confirm from his end.  I ask to be put through to the complaints department,  I explain the back history to her and was told she would look into it and call me back today, 12:30pm when call was ended.
     4 hours pass by and I am forced to call back.  My call gets put through to Priority Care (thats a joke) to be told "very very sorry Mr Bradly" when my surname is Bardsley and that indeed the appointment for Saturday was confirmed for 1-6 pm and she could not give me an answer as to why I have had 2 failed appointments and NO one has called me back with confirmations or answers.  I was talking till I was blue in the face and still got the scripted respones.  I ask to be put through to her supervisor to be told that "he will say the same as me sir"  thats fine I say let him tell me the same.  
      Get put through to the supervisor (he makes more use as a door stop) who offers nothing in the way of helping to sort this issue and tells me his hands are tied and he has no systems in place.  I ask has my appointment for Friday been filled and he said no! so I asked can he not make a call to the engineer's dispatch office and get some one round to day, as they have already failed me with 2 appointments and 3 none returned calls! all I would get is a very well practised response "NO we only have the ability to contact customers". 25 minutes later and I am told I can carry on with the appointment for Saturday or I can cancel my package "its up to you sir".  
    As you can guess I put the phone down on him and tried again ! after another 2 hours on the phone trying to get an engineer out to me today and having to run through the back history 6 times and having 2 customer care staff hang up on me, I finally get put through to customer care based in the UK.
    The rep based in the UK tells me that he has no idea why I have had 3 different stories or in fact why ANY of my engineering appointments have be cancelled.  He went to tell me that all Priority Care teams can contact ALL levels in BT to investigate a complaint.  Then he confirmed my appointment for Saturday 8-1pm? no I was told by 2 PRIORITY CARE team members it was confirmed for 1-6pm!!! he confirmed again what is on the system is 8-1pm!!! what the **bleep** are they trying to make me miss the engineer!! I know its for the cab but they said on a rare occasion it could be the modem.  
    WHY DOES NO ONE SEEM TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING, OTHER THAN HOW TO READ THEIR SCRIPTS AND NOT LIST TO THE CUSTOMER.  I FIND IT HARD FOR A TELECOMMUNICATIONS COMPANY, THAT NO ONE COULD CONTACT SOMEONE IN A DIFFERENT DEPARTMENT AND SAY:
    "HAY, WE DROPPED THE BALL ON THIS, CAN YOU SEND AN ENGINEER TO SORT OUT THE CONNECTION"
    it seems like it is too hard as every time I asked for this, I was responded "we don't have those measures in place sir, you WILL have to wait till Saturday".  This to me is very POOR or none existent customers service.
    When you are called you are beaten down with pre-scripted rubbish with out listening to the problem and LIED to!! 
    The Results
    Day 4 with NO internet connection.
    7 Phone calls to BT from myself
    2 Phone calls from BT to myself ( surely it should be the other way around)
    2 days wages lost because of no shows from Engineers
    4 hours 17 mins spent on the phone in total !
    Conclusion 
    If your reading through these forums to check out any issues on BT and are not a BT customer RUN!!!!! RUN AND NEVER LOOK BACK!!! I have never been so angry and disappointed in my life. SUCH **bleep** SERVICE!!

    Finally managed to get put through to "Priority Care" (who then admitted she was tech help, and put me through to PC!!!!!!) to discuss reimbursement/compensation.  I agree with both points how misinformation is given just to get the customer off the phone so that they can take another call to keep the "call waiting" time down.  They are so heavily scripted ( not their fault I am sure) that they prattle on with it and don't truly listen to what the issue/problem is.  And to have 3 sets of PC Managers deal with it is a joke.
    Today they offered me (drumroll please)........... 4 days reimbursement !! which works out at £3:33.  I kindly pointed out the WHOLE story again emphasising the;
    LIES
    INCOMPETENCE
    LACK OF CUSTOMER REGARD
    THE INABILITY TO CONFIRM AN APPOINTMENT AS 8-1PM OR 1-6PM etc etc
    As well as the £85 in lost wages for the 2 afternoons off work.
    I then asked him again if that the £3:33 sounds as a fair offer, 25 minutes pass repeating my self over and over again pointing out that BT as the telecommunications company, has been put to shame and contacted more by the customer than Bt contacting the customer.
    "I agree with you Mr Bardsley, and seeing as you have had a "not so good" experience (understatement of the year) I am willing to offer you £10 pounds, I am not really meant to sir, but on this one occasion I can"
    I told him I was looking for AT LEAST 1 months free Infinity for the hassle (not expecting to get blood out of a stone) and was told "No sir".  Can BT admit they dropped the ball and meet me half way then? and give me half price then for nexts months fee?
    "because you have called so many times sir and had a little bit of a bad experience (do they think that repeating this I will some how agree that the world is flat?) I can go to half price for you sir"
    Not the result I was after, but still a result.  
    I just don't get how such a large company can get it so devastatingly wrong.

    "Blocked - Awaiting Reply from Authorities" to previous status. Many times we will receive error messages from US AES and require further processing and resent.
    According to help.sap.com documentation, i should be able to find this function through
    System Administration. Choose System Monitoring ® Status of Customs Declarations/Shipments.
    I don't seem to be able to find this in our GTS 7.20 system. I have SP 009.

    I am trying to put a query together to build a fixed width file. I am using rpad and using NVL to substitute for nulls. That seems to work fine until I have to do a multi table select. I run into a problem when the the id field in the customer table does not exist in the customer_addr table. The NVL works if the id exists and it does insert the blank for the null, but if the id is not there, then I get the null instead. How can I force the blank for the case where the row is not even in the second table without changing the data in the table?

    Is the problem with the last column in your SELECT clause?
    (select rpadNVL(a.addr1,' '),10) from customer_addr a where a.id = customer.id and a.addr_type = 100)It looks like you're missing a left-parentheses between RPAD and NVL. If you're getting anything other than an error message, this is probably not what you're running.
    At any rate, the scalar sub-query (the entire expression I quoted above) will be NULL if it doesn';t find any row. You need to apply RPAD and NVL to the results of the scalar sub-query, like this:
    RPAD ( NVL ( (      SELECT  a.addr1
              FROM     customer_addr     a
              WHERE     a.id          = customer_id
              AND     a.addr_type     = 100
         , 10
         )     I hope that answers your question.

  • "the path does not exist" error opening shared adobe files on XP machine

    We recently upgraded a mac mini from Tiger (10.4.11) to Leopard (10.5.X) we updated to the most recent 10.5.
    We have an office with 3 macs and 1 XP.
    All users connect to the Mac Mini via SMB sharing.
    Everyone Authenticates as the same admin user.
    *The XP machine can open and save all file types EXCEPT Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator files.*
    They are using CS3.
    The mac and XP users could open save and share all files prior to the leopard update.
    We used the "Archive and Install" option to upgrade to leopard.
    The shared files had the "unknown Group" error which we solved by adding them to the ADMIN group. This step changed the error message the the XP user was receiving.
    I have tried many networking fixes, including group policy on windows, turning off IPv6 on the Mini, but we cannot open or save files directly from Illustrator.
    When the file
    We can move files to the XP desktop then open and save. Files saved on the XP machine can be moved back to the mini and opened directly by all of the Mac users.
    Any guesses why this might be occurring?

    There are actually two separate error messages received by the windows user when trying to open files off of the Mini.
    "the path does not exist" and "this file cannot be found".
    This happens when we navigate directly to the file with windows explorer.

  • How do I connect to an AppleID that is linked to my purchases that Apple support says does not exist ?

    My Iphone and Itunes have apps that are registered under the appleid 'broucks'. During the IOS 5 update process I lost the ability to connect to this appleid and am now unable to order new apps or more importantly update applications (which are locked into pre IOS5 state and thus not working well - especially Navigon).
    I have twice been in contact with Itunes support who insist that this appleid does not exist and after providing me with the password for appleid [email protected] (which is an appleid I created after being unable to use broucks).
    After telling them that I already had the password for [email protected] and requesting that they trace order numbers to an appleid and then either activate that appleid with purchases or transfer the purchases to [email protected]  they refuse to respond.
    In fact I have the impression that I am not talking to human but poorly programme BOTS.

    Both my Iphone(update) and Itunes (info) want a password for broucks.
    It has been a month. How can I conclude this sad state ? Advice please.
    Oh ... another puzzle. When I try to validate [email protected] it fails to validate saying that another apple_id has the same address (could it be broucks?).
    Trying to get the password for broucks ....
    My DOB is not recognized as valid and the email validation results in no email to any account I have ever had (certainly not the original email in 2007 that announced the creation of my apple_id ([email protected]).

    This seems a not uncommon problem. Amazing that Apple has not acknowledged it in support or come up with a solution/workaround. It would certainly be in their interest as well as our (locked out users). I have devoted a lot of time to this and cannot solve it without their help (which is not forthcoming)..
