Customized CRM interface hiding locations

Hi,
Our CRM has been so highly customised that as an Adminstrator I cannot find my way to some of the out of the box locations.
For example,  Settings / Auditing / Audit Log Management is not visible.
Presumably there must be some server-relative URLs for such locations - can anyone point me to such a list please?

To recheck urls you can use
XrmToolbox.
Download it, connect to CRM Instance. Open SiteMap editor and restore default Sitemap (but don't publish it to CRM). After that you will have possibility to see required areas and in settings of area ou can find required Url.

    Sounds like something went wrong somewhere and you may need to delete the mysql locations, modules and then platform - then recreate.

  • How do you create multiple execution windows for a custom opterator interface

    I am starting to create a custom operator interface for TestStand 3.5 using Labview 8.0.  This is my first exposure to custom operator interfaces (and ActiveX).  The example operator interfaces have only one execution window that changes based on the executions combo box.  My sequence is going to be run with the parallel sequence model (2 test sockets).  So I want my custom operator interface to have 2 execution windows, one for each test socket.  How can I do this?  I created a second execution window but it just mirrors the first execution window.

    attach a handle, reference, or pointer that represents the window." But when I try to utilize this method, I got 2 problems:
    1. How to get a window handle of a CVI panel? As execution view are resident in child panels, so I may need the window handle of
     individual child panels.
    2. Even the window hanlde is gotten, how can I convert it to a VARIANT Type? According to the function panle of
    TSUI_ExecutionViewMgrSetUserData (, NULL, ), the last parameter is a "VARIANT".
    Any comments or instructions for my assumption?

    Through standard settings, this is not possible.  Try with USEREXIT_SOURCE_DETERMINATION (MV45AFZB) where you have to define the storage location and the customer code.

    Outlook integration is deigned to link B1 to Outlook. It may not be able to use all advanced functions such as hiding recipients.
    For emailing a newsletter to a customer/vendor group, you may use query to get the list and create a distribution group to achieve your goal.

    R/3 and CRM are integrated very nicely and the middleware helps to integrate
    Configuration data
    Master data
    Transaction data
    One can do Initial download of all of the above and set up Delta downloads of Master and transaction data (I am not sure about delta of configuration data).
    You can also configure the middleware adapter to filter master and transaction data and you can also configure the flow of data - like Business partner data comes from R/3 to CRM and not the reverse. Sales Order changes flow back and forth - this too is configurable.
    Pricing procedures, Pricing conditions, Codition records are all downloadable from R/3 into CRM.

  • Get overall Pass/Fail from custom User Interface

    Hi Guys
    I’m working on a custom user interface for operators and I would like to check and display the overall Pass/Fail result of the test at certain time intervals during execution.
    I added a sequence called ‘GetOverallResult’ to the ‘FrontEndCallbacks.seq’ which checks the Pass/Fail status of the sequence and I’m calling it form a SubVI within the User Interface written in LabVIEW (Check status.vi).
    The problem is that I’m getting the Pass/Fail status of the CallBack sequence not the test sequence I’m running.
    Could anyone please help me in this?

    Hi Attila,
    Have you instead tried reading the value directly from the main sequence? Have a look at the attached VI; pass the sequence context in and the Get Property Value VI will read the sequence's state.
    Is this suitable for what you had in mind?

  • How to display 16 bit image in VBAI custom inspection interface?

    I'm working with 16 bit grey scale images in VBAI. In configuration mode, there is an option on how to handle 16 bit display mapping, and it works very well to preview the effect of the different display possibilities. However, those settings do not carry over into inspection mode. In the custom inspection interface, if I right click on the image display area it also has an option for 16 bit image mapping, with a default value of "Full Dynamic". It allows me to choose something else, but if I save the custom interface and reopen it, the value always reverts back to "Full Dynamic" For the time being, I've worked around it by adding a vision assistant step to convert the 16 bit image to 8 bit, but I would really prefer to take this step out. Are there any tricks to getting the image mapping setting to work properly within the custom interface? Thanks, Jason

    I would not expect that to happen. I will investigate. In the mean time if you have LabVIEW you can export the custom ui and edit the block diagram in LabVIEW. Then you can add a property node for the image display control to set the 16 bit display mapping when the vi runs. Make sure to reimport this updated ui and edit the step that updates the custom ui to run the code when the step executes. I'll let you know what I find out about why it reverts when you try to set it from the editor in VBAI.

  • How Do I output Custom CRM Fields?

    There is currently no reference or insertion method to obtain these very easily but it can be done.
    Note: This topic assumes you have already made your custom fields.
    Step 1:
    Create a Test Page or go to a test page you may have.
    Step 2:
    Launch the module manager
    Step 3:
    Select the Securezone options and go to insert an Customer update details form.
    Step 4:
    When you click the link you will see the CRM fields dropdown appear, Choose the custom field set you made.
    Step 5:
    Insert the form into the page.
    Step 6:
    If you Click the HTML view and scroll to where it has inserted the custom CRM fields and look at the source you will see that there is the module tag code you need.

    Step 7:
    Copy the module code and use as you need to in your templates. Please note that these will only work when logged in and only for that person who is logged in.
    So, what is this good for?
    You may want to show a company Logo in the template when they have logged in for example. This is perfect for this.

    I'm trying to get this to work to no avail...
    I have ceated an Extended CRM Field that has a series of check boxes. I inserted the "Edit Customer Details" form on a page. In the custome record I just want to display the selection of the field, not the entire list of checkboxes. I also wanted to use tis field (The selected checkbox) in the checkout form.     So I grabbed the section {module_customerfield,142115,434349} and iserted it in the form but it doesn't display anything at all. Is this because it's checkboxes? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

    Please check in your CRM table  SMOFPARSFA:
    MANDT         001
    PARSFAKEY     CRMRF
    PARNAME       SETTINGS_REPORTING_FRAMEWORK
    By default, the auchorization check is avtiviated.
    If the authorization check does not work, I am afraid that your auth profile is not set up correctly.
    In standard, authorization objects are checked by following sequence:
      CRM_ORD_OP
        CRM_ORD_LP
          CRM_ORD_OE
    That is CRM_ORD_LP is only checked when user failed in CRM_ORD_OP's check.
    CRM_ORD_OE is only checked when the check against CRM_ORD_OP is failed.
    The detailed information is in the link I sent last time.
    Please adjust your authorization profile settings.
    You can also check the via debugging. The authorization check is executed by FM CRM_ORDER_CHECK_AUTHORITY_GEN.

  • MI Backend Customizing (CRM)

    We call the Mobile Sales Online Configuration Console with the URL
    http://<YourHost>:<Port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/mba~com.sap.mbs.mso.configurationconsole/ConfigurationConsole  to set up our configuration.
    But we can not see anything in the Backend Customizing tab.
    There are no customizing groups and available values.
    Are there any customizing steps to connect to backend (CRM) system?

    Let me ask one more qustion please.
    We still get the error 'Error while loading backend Customizing values from the database' on the backend customizing screen.
    I think we have connection problems.
    We have maintained two JCO destination for CRM Backend system. One is MBA_MSO_MODELDATA_DEST the other is MBA_MSO_RFC_METADATA_DEST. MBA_MSO_MODELDATA_DEST seems ok, I got a message  JCO destination 'MBA_MSO_MODELDATA_DEST' was sucessfully tested.
    But during maintaining the MBA_MSO_RFC_METADATA_DEST destination we have to select load balanced connection type and message server although we have single server. Because of this reason when we test MBA_MSO_RFC_METADATA_DEST we have gotten an error message 'com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) RFC_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: Connect to message server host failed Connect_PM  TYPE=B MSHOST=crmhost GROUP=PUBLIC R3NAME=CR1 MSSERV=sapmsCR1 PCS=1 LOCATION    CPIC (TCP/IP) on local host ERROR       service 'sapmsCR1' unknown TIME        Wed Oct 26 16:06:11 2005 RELEASE     640 COMPONENT   NI (network interface) VERSION     37 RC          -3 MODULE      ninti.c LINE        494 DETAIL      NiPGetServByName2: service 'sapmsCR1' not found SYSTEM CALL getservbyname_r COUNTER     1 ' .
    Do you have any idea why we have to select the load balanced option?
