Customizing confirmation form for multi accounts action

Hello,
I would like to customize the confirmation form, that appears when I perform actions for multiple accounts (such as delete, disable, enable and etc) from Accounts tab. This is a form with the title “Confirm <action_name>” and list of accounts. How do I get access to this form and customize it?

Custom tabular form for multi-row not saving data

Ok, before anyone asks, yes, I did read the how-to:-)
I have a custom tabular form, which I did cause I need to use popups and the popups that you can use in the wizard tabular form does not display the text but rather the value underneath it.
It returns data rather nicely and when I go and update values I can tell it is changing the fields underneath. I put a process in that will display the values in text fields on the form (for one row only) and I see them changing from what is already there and with the proper values.
However, when I do that the data that is displayed then gets reverted back to what it was previous to the update but reports that the process was successful.
I have also tried to insert but that is basically doing the same thing. Can anyone guide me.

Checkboxes are different from other HTML form items. When you have a text box for example, there's always a value send to the server when submitting. Even if that value is NULL. When you have a checkbox however, you only get the value if the checkbox is checked. It's not posted to the server when it is not checked. That's the general behavior of HTML forms and not specific to Oracle HTML DB.
When working with tabular forms in HTML DB, you can access your form values using the htmldb_application.g_f0x arrays. Now if you have for example 10 rows in your form, then you'll get ten elements in your array for text boxes, select lists, etc. For checkboxes however you'll only get as many elements as you have rows checked. If I read your update and insert code correctly, you're trying to use the checkbox arrays the same way you use the arrays based on other item types. My recommendation would be to use Yes/No select lists instead of checkboxes or at least use select lists initially to get it working and then work on properly processing the checkboxes.

Custom Popup on a Tabular Form for Multi Row Operation

I am trying to implement a custom popup on a tabular form that I can pass a value typed in to a text item like âNameâ to the popup so it can filter a list of names on what was already typed in.
Once a selection is made I need to have the selected name passed back to the text item.
This is easily done when not using a Tabular Form. Any ideas would be great?

Can someone please help me with this?

Custom edit form for my Wiki Page library with only "Page Name" field included

I want to create a new custom edit form for my Wiki page library, and to only allow users to edit the Page name inside the edit form. now i created a new Edit form using SharePoint Designer , and i select the Enterprisewiki content type for it , which generates

so from the above markup the name field is not part of the edit form,, i think this is because the Name is part of the Document content type and not part of the enterprisewiki content type .. so is there a way to add the name field to the edit
form ?.
second question, the edit form will show all the content type fields such as ; standard, document type, department , title (display in search), etc so what is the best way to remove these fields from the custom edit form ?

This can only be done by adding VBScript to the form. It would basically be:

could you please share your experience, what is the possible solution to create custom external correspondence forms - confirmations for Business partners or modify the template, like the one pre-delivered by SAP - F_TR_CONFIRM_ALL.

Hi,
The correspondence function provided by SAP is freely definable, and can be assigned with any other custom made forms as well. You may need to develop a new form script by copying existing standard form and make changes as per your specific requirment and assign the same at spro--correspondence area against respective transaction activity.
Please note, while developing new forms, and if those are assigned for automatic print processing, any inconsitency in the form may lead to runtime error while creating transactions (FTR_CREATE).

I know how to do this for List Accounts tab (customizing User List Library form). But I don’t know how to disable these actions for multiple accounts from the Find Users tab.

For example, I can do it for Accounts List tab and if I select several users and do Disable action from User Actions list menu, I retrieve error message like "Multiple selections are not allowed for the 'Disable' action." (customize <argument name='selectionMode' value='single'/> for field <Field name='disableUserAction'> in "User List Library"). How do I implement this functionality on Find Users tab?

Custom edit forms for XMLForms

Using XML Forms in EP 6.0 SP9, I've created a default edit form and another custom edit form. The idea is that users will only see the default edit form, while content administrators will be able to see the more detailed custom edit form.
I've noticed that the XMLForms project has a property for the default edit form, i.e. you can change this while designing your project in XMLForms Builder. Is there any way of changing this property when someone clicks on the 'Save' button on the default edit form?

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to create a custom New/Edit form for each content type from an announcement list with mulitple content types.
You can do it via SharePoint Designer 2013. Firstly, open your site with SharePoint Designer, then go to the list, and click “New…” in
Form section. And when you create a custom form, you can select the type of the form and the content type. If you want to use the custom form as default form for the content type, you can select “Set as default form for the selected type”.

Custom Y-grids for multi-plot graphs

How do I get the Y-axis gridlines to change for a given Y-axis (I have three)? As it is now, I have different scales for each Y-axis and the gridlines for all of them are displayed at the same time. This makes the graph very messy and it is difficult to discern which plot goes with which gridline.

The way a multiplot graph is displaying scales is a bit curious.
It's true a graph displys all scales at the same time, so if the various Y scales are different the display is confusing as you said.
I suggest you some workarounds.
First of all, arrange all Y axis in order to have the same or multiple scale so that all grid lines are equally spaced.
Second, display the same lines for all Y scales (customizing the tabs as Alberto says).
Third, display grid lines for different Y axes with different colors (maybe choosing pastel colors for grid lines and the same but bright color for plots).
Fourth, hide all grid lines but one. It seems that this built-in option works in a curious way: if you have a black graph background you can see some pixels painted along X grid
lines where Y grid should lie, and if you have another color background you can see the complete but 'hided' grid lines, as if they were painted in black instead of transparent. So I suggest you to use for grid lines the same color as graph background : that way the Y axis grid lines are effectively hided.

WPC - Custom Web Form: DOMException: Root Element is already present

Hi experts,
I'm trying to create a custom web form for my companies portal and I'm facing the following problem:
I can create create articles with my new webform and everything is fine, but when the XSL Transformation is happing (eg. for viewing the content) i got following exception:
Cannot render container : com.sap.engine.lib.xml.util.NestedException: org.w3c.dom.DOMException: Root Element is already present, cannot be appended as a child. -> org.w3c.dom.DOMException: Root Element is already present, cannot be appended as a child.
I don't understand of which root element the parser is talking. Unfortunately I can't find any additional info to this.

I got rid of my earlier error as I was using the conatinerRenderer tag in the wrong way. It should have been

Now I get to display the my edit content; But I still haven't been able to get rid of the top default portal banner that appears on my edit page. It has the default logo gif and the link to the home page.
I can now put my own form and <input> types, Just need to get rid of the default banner now.

Custom order form with file upload facility

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a custom order form(for a printing company) where the user can select their product, enter their credit card details and then upload the file. I've created the combo box & user input text fields. Now what I want is that when user clicks the submit button:
1. A mail is sent to the admin which contain all the details about the form that was filled by the user.
2. The file that is uploaded by the user should also be sent as attachment in the same mail. I'm not able to figure out how to add the feature of file upload in ActionScript.
3. This one is optional, but will add value to me if possible. The website is developed in Wordpress. Can we have a feature where a logged in user can save his order and come again later and retrieve his order form.

you should try and protect yourself. you should keep a record that you've informed him that he needs to encrypt all credit card numbers during all phases of transmission but i doubt that will be enough to protect you because you are in a position to know and, will know, that he's not fulfilling his obligations to protect sensitive information.
you would use the urlloader class to communicate between flash and the server and you will probably use php (another coding language) for the server-side coding.
you can use google to search for php tutorials and help.

Custom Incident Form Data Binding Help

Hello Everyone! I'm relatively new to TechNet and am excited to learn a lot as well as contribute my experiences and help others learn as well!
I have read through tutorials, taken the MVA SCSM course, and even read through some books like SCSM 2010 Unleashed, and Microsoft System Center Service Manager Cookbook.
I am currently working on an SCSM 2012 project, in which I have to create a custom incident form for use within the console. I have tried to extend the existing form in the authoring tool, but found it too limited in function. Therefore I went down the
road of working on a completely new form in Visual Studio 2013 (I assume I cannot modify the existing Incident form in VStudio otherwise that would probably make my job alot easier). I have completed the UI of the form, and imported it into the authoring tool
to add some functions not present in VStudio (like list picker, etc.). I also created a new work item, pointed it to my custom assembly, and bundled up my files as a management pack bundle. I imported it into SCSM and successfully created
a custom view and implemented the form. Now I have to go back to the authoring tool and focus on binding the textboxes and controls to actual data… here I kind of am lost. How do I go about doing this? I know I have to point the textbox for example a location
on where to pull the data from, but where AM I pulling that data from anyways? For example, the status, the title, etc. These must all be bound to some data object somewhere in the CMDB but thats as far as I know. Any guidance, pointers, tips, even links to
documentation I can read would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

This might as well be a blog as I clearly love answering my own questions all the time... :)
So it seems the authoring tool is just poorly designed and does not allow one to pick from properties already defined to that class on an EXISTING control (e.g. If you create your form in VStudio like I did and go into Authoring Tool hoping to create the
appropriate properties and then map them to those controls like textboxes or listpickers, you can't do that.) Instead, create the form without ANY of the controls on it, so just the grids, background, and frame of the page. Then go into Authoring Tool and
create the properties in the class definition. Then, when you author the form you can DRAG OUT the properties, e.g. ID, Affected User, Status, etc. Automatically mapping the right control to the data type (e.g. it will drag out a textbox for a property that
is defined as a string), and does all the binding for you. That's it!
If you were curious as to what the actual syntax was incase you want to manually edit the XML, it would be a line containing something like this:

Bulk account action error

Hi,
We are running bulk account action script for updating user's manager pin number on IdM server.
But during this action, few erros were encountered on few User accounts, which did not allow the bulk account action command to update manager pin on IdM server.
The Bulk Action command is:

Below is the error message:
com.waveset.util.WavesetException: There were errors retrieving user information
com.waveset.util.WavesetException: Unable to contact resource 'sys9'. Any changes made may not be applied on this resource.
Im not sure why some external resource error, is impacting updating manager pin number on Lighthouse.
Is it necessary to clear these errors for Bulk Account Action to perfrom the desired action.
can anyone suggest on how Bulk Action can overlook this resource error and update manager attribute on IdM server.

Maybe you need to disable checkbox that says: retrieve resources atributes in the bulk action configuration page
If you only need to update update a lighthouse attribute it isn't necessary to retrieve resource's values on every resource.
Try this and then say us if the work for you.
