Customizing IMG

In Customizing, you can specify after how many steps a user is asked to save his/her entries..
Please can someone provide with the IMG path for this
Thanks..

Hi,
If you are referring to the prompt in PPOME, please follow SPRO>Personnel Management>Organizational Management>Hierarchy Framework>Set Up Backup Prompt. You can read up the IMG documentation for this activity for more information.
Hope this helps.

The customizing-IMG-structure "cross docking" is not visible / available within SAP ECC 6.0-system altough WM-module is used. It is visible via SIMGH but can not be used / displayed via SPRO.
Could you please tell me what is the reason for this?
In addition the cross-docking transactions can not be executed (e.g. lxdck ; "You are not authorized to monitor XDOCK").

  • Translate documentation of custom IMG nodes

    Hi,
I have created some custom nodes  in the IMG. Now I need to translate the documentation.
I am aware of transaction SE63 and that you can choose IMG documentation from Abap Objects --> Long Texts.
But then its asking for an Object Name. I though I could give the Document Name that I assigned to the activity but that does not seem to be right.
How do I find out the Object Name? Or is there any other way to translate the IMG documentation?
    Stefan

1 )to change long text documentation for IMG  .
    SE63 translation / abap objects / labels (2nd line )
the object name begins by SIMG search SIMG* with F4
    2) to change/create  label of a node in a language you cand modify/add an  entry of table CUS_IMGACT .

    Hi,
Please follow SPRO>Personnel Management>Organizational Management>Basic Settings>Data Model Enhancement>Relationship Maintenance>Maintain Relationships.  Select the 008 relationship and double click on the u201CRelationship Characteristicsu201D folder under Links on the column on the left.
Look at the u201CCheck obsoleteu201D column. Here, you can control the system reaction if you have maintained IT1014 (Obsolete) for a position. The options are:
    E = Error
I = Information (may be ignored)
W = Warning (may be ignored)
    Blank = No check

  • Integration of customers and vendors- customer exit for renaming

We are planning to use customers for capacity reservation functionality and vendors for subcontracting in APO.
Due to this, we will need Vendors and Customers in APO.
Currently some plants are using same number range for customers and vendors.
So, we will have to rename either customer number or vendor number.
In such situation, do you recommend renaming customer number or Vendor number?
Do you see impact of renaming customer or vendor in above processes?
Can you please e-mail me which customer exit  I should use and steps that should be followed for renaming?

    Your problem:
Different location types with the same name or number in the external system. For example, a customer and a supplier both have the number 1000. This problem occurs especially with vendor and customer numbers.
    You can do the following:
    described in SAP Note 458914.
Activate BAdI Implementation for Location Prefix
    Procedure
    1.     Access the activity using one of the following navigation options:
SAP SCM Menu     Tools  Customizing  IMG  Execute Project  SAP Reference IMG  SAP Implementation Guide  SCM Basis  Integration  BAdIs for Specific Applications  Location and Business Partner  BAdI: Inbound Processing for Location
    Transaction Code     SPRO
    2.     In the Business Add-Ins: All Implementations for Definition SMOD_APOCF001 dialog box, go to the Defined filters table and select the suitable implementation for your problem situation, for example:
    Field Name     Entry Value
    Bus. add-in implementation name     APOCF001_TYPEDIF
Implementation short text     Locations of different type with similar names
    3.     Choose Change.
    4.     Confirm the warning message.
    5.     On the Business Add-In Builder: Change Implementation APOCF001_TYPEDIF screen, choose Activate business add-in implementation.
    6.     In the Prompt for transportable Workbench request dialog box, enter a workbench request and press ENTER.
    7.     Choose the Back pushbutton (F3) twice.

  • Customizing of a WD application

    Hi experts,
I am offering an application containing a power list (POWL) which displays some data and offers a set of actions to be executed on each selected table row.
The action execution can be in a synchronous or asynchronous mode.
We want to offer a customizing possibility to each user to specify the desired calling mode.
I am quite uncertain what is the best way to do it:
1)via web dynpro configuration and customizing techniques - If I understood this correctly they decide on layout of UI elements.
    2) via ABAP customizing ( IMG ) - But then we would set profiles for all users.
    Do you have any suggestions?
    kind regards,
          Sahla

    Hi,
I would say this depends also on the level you want the users to decide: on action level or on "global" level (e.g. for all actions).
A third way would be to introduce user parameter.

  • Records Management - Custom Attributes

    Hi all,
I've created a Document Service provider in SRMREGEDIT in my RMS_ID. I archive the created documents with ORGANIZER in Documentum Archive Server.
I have added a custom attribute to my Document type:
1.- I want this custom attribute appears in ORGANIZER in the search window, so I can search the documents thru my custom attribute. How I can do this?
2.- I also want to save my custom attribute in Documentum as attribute. How can I save SAP attributes in Documentum?
    Thanks in advance,
    Regards.
    Urtzi.

    Hi Urtzi,
for custom attributs you need to create a Content Model (Customizing IMG). The Content Model description needs to be in the connection parameter values of your element typ Document. Then you have to customize your attributes in the dmwb (document modelling workbench), you should find your content model under the entity SRM, there you need to look for your content model id in documents, take the virtual class marked with "V" in the PHIO and LOIO classes, in the instance attribs you can finally customize your attributes by clicking the button "more". You have to hide all attributes you don´t need except SRM_DOCUMENT_ID. If you want to add own attributes you need to add them under IO-attributes first. When you restart your electronic desk now you should see the attributes you customized in the document and you are also able to search for these attributes now.
You save these attributes for your documents by writing the Content Model ID into the connection parameter values (Document_Class) of your element typ Document. If you have different Documents that need different attributes you need to create a new Content Model.
    Hope that helps!

  • Customs-declaration: Customizing message E0010 (e-Mail)

    Hello,
if there are sombody who is able to describe me, how i can customize the Message E0010. I am getting the Message M0940 but the Email-Message doesn't appear in the customs declaration. I have already defined attributes of rules for defaulting Data (Messages), but it's doesn't work. I haven't customized the message E0010 in the IMG not yet.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi, Sameer,
in the first step, I have defined rules for the output determination:
    Default data selection:
         Procedure for Defaulting Data: "COEDE"
         Legal Regulation: "ATLAS"
    For example:
    Process Templ.         Process        Activity      Message
    CUSDE                      CUSEX         EXAZ       M0940
    CUSDE                      CUSEX         EXAZ       P0010
    CUSDE                      CUSEX         EXAZ       E0010
But at this point only the messages M0940 and P0010 were found in the customs declaration.
I have looked in the determination log in the customs declaration and the EMail message E0010 can not be found, because it is not in the ..
Process: CUSEX; Activitiy sequenze: EXAZ; activity: EXZAA
    and
Process: CUSEX; Activitiy sequenze: EXAZ; activity: EXZAD
    and
Process: CUSEX; Activitiy sequenze: EXAZ; activity: CUSEX
    and
Process: CUSEX; Activitiy sequenze: EXAZ; activity: EXZAB
After this, I have tried to find out in the customizing why the Email/Message can not be found.
    Customizing:
    IMG
    1. SAP Global Trade Services
    2. SAP Customs Management
    3. General settings
    4. Define Control Settings for Communication Processes
Here, I was able to see that the activity that contains the E-Mail Message which is called 'EXZAM'  can not be found in the message determination log.  For Example the activity 'CUSEX' contains the print Messages.
When I display the Subsequent Activities of the Activity Sequence 'EXAZ':
    1. Activtiy sequence: EXAZ
The following Subsequent Activities are shown:
    10     EXZAA
    20     EXZAD
    30     CUSEX
    40     EXZAB
    50     EXZAM  is not listed
The activity "EXZAM" is not listed in the subsequent activities. I think that is the reason, why the message E0010 doesn't appear in the customs declaration. The activity 'EXYAM' is not listed as an subsequent Activity of the Activity sequence "EXAZ".
Now I have added the activity manually in the subsequent Activitiy listu2026.. but the message E0010 still doesn't appear in the customs declaration. If I display the Message determination Log, the activity EXZAM is still not shown in the list.
    Important:
Only when I customize the message into the Activity CUSEX, which contains the print messages, then the message will be found in the declaration. It is funny because it's works. But I think that is not the right way to solve this problem. Can you tell me which customizing setting are missing?
    Thanks for your help, Cüneyt

  • Device Mapper and -fallback.img - stock, ck and beyond

    Hi!
I have similar findings to superstoned, see at the end of
    http://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?t=27696
device mapper module is not the part of the kernel26*-fallback.img. I understand the fallback images as the ones that contain all modules and if we get into trouble by generating our own cpio image we can point GRUB/LILO to them and be able to fix the problems.
Unfortunatelly the device mapper is not included in them (I checked the stock, ck and beyond kernels) which can cause problems if somebody installs the "/" on LVM managed disks.
Would it make sense to include them in the "fallback" image?
Besides of that I created a custom cpio image that includes the dm_mod.k by putting it into mkinitcpio.conf
    MODULES="sata_nv sd_mod reiserfs dm_mod"
funny thing is it is working fine for the beyond and ck kernels but the stock one is not loading it although it is there - in the img file. Weird.
    Any comments?
    waldek

I checked again - custom img file works for all 3 kernels. My mistake - sorry.

  • User administration - read rights for customizing

    Hello,
is there s. th. like a only-read-right for the whole customizing img or do I have to get the rights for all the different t-codes inside the img?
    Thanks a lot in advance,
    Hansi

    Hi Mark,
s.th. like this. The point is I'm new to right management. But there must be s.th. like a profile with which I get the right to see all the transactions related to the img or not? Our admin is saying we have to specify which transactions we need exactly which is quiete annoying. Instead I need a possibility to say: "Give me read-rights for this profile" and I can look after the customizing myself... Is there a way???
    Thanks a lot.

  • Customer no moving into GTS due to Postal code error.

    Hi
I need your help. While pushing customer form R/3 in to GTS it's showing ZERO partner process. Then I checked in GTS in the BP logs it showed me that postal code has to contain 7 digits.
But in R/3 customer master record it's taking only 6 digits it has set up accordingly. So it's not accepting 7 digits. So what could be the setting so that I can look into it ?
    Thanks in Advance.
    Best Regards
    Sits

    Hello Sits,
    check in GTS customizing
IMG --> SAP NetWeaver --> General Settings --> Set Countries --> Set Country-Specific Checks.
In here are country specific checks. One of them is also length of postal code.
Check whether for the country of your customer is 7 digit required for the postal code. Then change it to 6.
    Best regards,
    Gabriel.
PS: To be sure your countries in GTS are aligned with the Feeder use simple "adjustment" in the Utilities to compare/change via RFC to ERP..

  • Adding new Customer data KNA1

    Hi,
I'm looking for a function or a Bapi that let you add new Customer data. And I have to specify the new customer number being used ( comes from an import file )
The tables that seem to be getting populated are
    TABLES: KNA1,
            *KNA1,
            KNVP,
            KNVV,
            KNVK,
            T151T,
            T077X,
            ZPAFDFLT.
    TABLES  KNB1.
The important bit is also specifying the customer number I want to use and not having SAP give me the number.
    Thanks

    Hi Sims,
I see that you marked the post as answered, but there was an open ended question in your latest post. Did you find an answer or you still need help?
Standard SAP's account group for prospect customer is 0005. This is what you should see in your KNA1 record for all the prospective customers. If not, then you must be a using a custom account group. In config, this account group must have been configured to allow external numbering. Here is the path in config for verifying that(tcode SPRO).
Implementation Guide for R/3 Customizing (IMG)
    -->Financial Accounting
       -->Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
          -->Customer Accounts
             -->Master Records
-->Preparations for Creating Customer Master Records
-->Create Number Ranges for Customer Accounts
-->Assign Number Ranges to Customer Account Groups
Next thing is to load them into your system automatically. How are prospective customers registered? Do you get a file or do prospective customers register online? If they are registered online, then you need some kind of connectivity with SAP(so what is it) and a suitable RFC or BAPI. Right now, I don't see any standard BAPI or RFC that will enable you to create customers with external numbering. So you may have to use IDOC functions or a custom RFC function for the purpose.
If you are getting this information on a file, then you can use LSMW to load the customers. Please let me know your scenario so that we can come up with a solution.
