D810 RAW conversion in LR 5.6 shows posterization at certain camera profiles: Camera Standard, vivid, monochrome that it does not show with identical photos from a D800. Is this bug already known?

Never had this problem seen before in all my years of LR use. I use a test-chart with a continuous gray bar (from dark to light). Normally use Camera Standard profile to develop all my D800 RAW files with no problem so far. Got a D810 to test this week and did some tests using the same target. Suddenly there are some ugly posterization effects in the gray bar to be seen that can only be eliminated with heavy color-noise reduction or by switching to any other profile but Camera standard, Camera Vivid, Camera monochome.

OK, after posting there was the right suggestion of other forum threads that took care of the issue:

You need to go back to the person you bought it from. Sounds like they may have sold you phone that is not as described.

If you copy and paste the photo into the body of the email that should work for you.
Select the photo, tap and hold down it and then select - Copy - go to the mail app - create a new message - tap and hold down on the body of the email where you enter the text for the message - and select Paste.

In adition, please also try to use the following powershell commands to check if the assistant has right permissions:
Get-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity
CEO’s email address:\Calendar -User assistant’s email address
Also check with:
Get-Mailbox -Identity CEO’s mailbox
| fl *GrantSendOnBehalfTo

When printing an AutoCAD-exported PDF file, the paper version has lines that screen does not show

Hello,
We were contacted by our customer, a landscape architectural company that uses our product, M-Color, (http://m-color.com) to plot AutoCAD drawings with required preferences and effects.
However, they provided us with a sample PDF files, that contain examples of scanned drawings, that have some "ghost lines" at the drawings that the screen does not show.
We tracked the issue and it appears to be an issue with Adobe Reader pringing. We tried many versions from 8.0 version onwards to the latest versions available in public, all represent the same issue.
This may be an issue of the original drawing having some line that was not marked ending at some point.
The zip file within the link below has three PDF files, two from the company that brought this issue to our awareness and the one with name "scanstation" is printed by me, and then scanned with markings to explain the issue.
Any ideas what would be the best solution to solve this issue?

So after looking a bit closer i have noticed that when i have the phone plugged into the computer it shows the songs but when i dont have it plugged in and i go so the song icon on the bottom of the music menu screen it says i have no songs!

I have Thunderbird on 2 computers. When I read, send or reply to emails, that action does not show up on both computers.

Can you have Thunderbird on multiple computers and have any of the work you do on one show up on the others? Like, replying to an email on computer A, can that show up as a sent message when you open up Thunderbird on computer B?

You need IMAP email instead of POP to sync folder across multiple devices.

Quicktime does not show USB 2861 device as a camera

This device is the hardware known as Video 2 Go from Ionaudio. Now the documentation states that (for Snow Leopard) one should:
first, install their bundled software (VideoGlide from Echofx) and register it;
secondly, set QT (via Get info selection) to run in 32bit mode;
before trying to use the device with QT or iMovie as an input device.
Now I don't run 10.6.x - I have 10.7.5 installed and some person else has 10.8.x installed and in both cases we find that QT does not show the device as a "composite" camera (or Video input device) when trying to do a "New Movie Recording". It is though recognised as an audio input device (in QT) and it does show up in the USB tab of the System Info report when connected.
Is there any suggestions that I should tweak?

Firstly, make sure that your device is not hidden (left hand pane). If it just reads device then toggle between SHOW and HIDE.
Secondly, try all the other ports on your computer, even a number of times.
Thirdly, if you have another computer try plugging your device into it without taking any action, give it a moment, remove it and try it back in your other computer again.

And failing all that put the device into Recovery mode. See here and note the paragraph 'If you restore from a different computer.... ' down near the bottom of the page -

Desktop Software 6.0 (PC) does not show OS 6 system software and core applications

I have installed DM 600_b047 on my PC (running WinXP w/ SP3). I have also installed both OS 6.0.0_rel862 and 5.0.0_rel1385 on the same PC. When I connect my Bold 9000 to the PC, DM shows everything that is installed on the device. However, when disconnect the Bold and I connect my Torch 9800, DM shows only the third-party apps installed on the device. DM does not show the System Software, Core Applications, Phone, etc. that are installed on the Torch.
On another PC (also WinXP w/ SP3), I have installed the same DM and OS software. DM on the latter PC shows all System Software, Core Apps, 3rd-party apps, etc. of both the Bold and Torch.
I would appreciate any suggestions how to get my other PC to show all BB software installed on the Torch. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled the DM and OS software on the one PC. It did not resolve my issue.

Here's how I resolved my issue:
1. On the DM's Applications page, click the "Import files" button.
2. Drill down to the folder containing the .alx files of the BB OS. In my case, that would be "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\Shared\Loader Files\9800M_v6.0.0.284_P6.4.0.120"
3. Select the alx files shown.in the files window..
4. Click the "Open" button of the dialog box.
5. Wait for DM to finish processing the selected files.
Voila! Now I see all the apps.
Maybe RIM's software and/or system engineers can explain how the DM software got into the condition where it apparently had not selected the .alx files.

6280 does not show timestaps in message screen

I've recently bought 6280. I've found that it does not show date and time when sms was sent/recived. When I view any message, it shows only the sender name/number, after it there is a little free space and next there is message body. I don't know how I can change it.
Moreover, Nokia PC suite correctly shows every timestamp.

Here are my symptom
- USB Flash Drives , USB External HDD works normally
- I can see them in "My Computer"
- I can open "Safely Remove Hardware" via Run Command, but there is no device in the list
- They show up as "Disk drives" in device manager
- When I right click their icons in "My Computer", there is no option to "Eject" them
- In "Disk Management", they show up as "Basic". Prior to this issue, they were "Removable"
After I tested, it seems that my Vista detects every USB storage device as a normal HDD.
I don't know why but I'd appreciate any help because I have to plug-in and remove those drives often, especially flash drives.

I understand you are having issues in Windows Vista with your USB Storage devices not showing up in the Safely Remove Hardware list. I am providing you with a link to a Microsoft Hotfix for this very issue titled An external USB storage device may not appear in the Safely Remove Hardware list in the notification.... Vendor does not show in Display Vendor list

Hello SRM Experts,
I have a problem where I can see the Vendor in BP but I am not able to find this Vendor on the display vendor list on the web.
In BP, I can see that "Display in BP role" for this Vendor is "Business Partner (Gen.)" and not "Vendor".
Could this be the reason that it does not show up?
Also we dont have this vendor in VENMAP table but it is in BUT000.
Please advise.

My apologies for not being clear.
I meant in EBP, while creating a shopping cart, we select the Vendor. While selecting we have the F4 option.
I do not see the mentioned Vendor in this list, but I can see this in BP transaction. This Vendor also exists in ECC.
Per my investigation, I cannot this Vendor in VENMAP but is there in BUT000. Also as mentioned previously, the type is different for this Vendor.
Please advise.
