Dali: With existing projects?

Is there a way to add the JPA nature/facet to an existing project?
thanks:

Is there a way to add the JPA nature/facet to an
existing project? It was possible in the 0.5 release of Dali when were adding a "nature" to a project but the move to the Web Tools Platform "Facet" architecture in Dali 1.0 complicated adding JPA to an existing project. Bugzilla Bug 179054 has been filed to have this fixed for Dali 2.0. In the meantime the easiest thing to do is create a new JPA project and copy your existing code into it.

  • Integrate ADF Faces RC with existing project

    Hi,
    I want to use ADF Faces RC components in my existing project but i could not find downloadable jar files to add.
    Is ADF Faces RC component available only with JDeveloper?
    My company dont use JDeveloper. Is that possible to use these excellent components in our applications?
    Thanks,
    ULAŞ

    You can just download JDev 11 and then use only the JAR files of the components.
    Currently we don't have a stand alone download of them.

  • Using the Netbeans GUI within a Project with existing Ant Script

    I cannot seem to figure out how to use the Netbeans GUI in my Project with existing Ant Script. Is this possible? I have no problem creating GUI interfaces in a java Application, but attempting to make a new JFrame Form gives the error: package org.jdesktop.layout does not exist, and I have not been able to find a way around this. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

  • Opening existing project with PRE 9

    I have Premier Elements 9.0. When I start PRE and try to open a saved project, all I get is an empty window. The only way I can open an existing project is to first start a new one, then open the existing one from the File menu.
    I don't know if it's connected, but I am also having a problem with installing an update that appears in Adobe Update manager. It downloads and then reports that it failed.

    bobsapey
    Great job of resolving your Premiere Elements 9 project opening issue.
    McAfee can be particularly problematic for Premiere Elements, controlling both the antivirus and firewall(s).
    As a just in case note, are you working from the 9.0.1 Update of version 9. If not, good idea to do so. But, if you do, please
    use the online link from Adobe rather than the 9's opened project's Help Menu/Update.

  • NetBeans 4.1 and projects with existing sources: NoSuchMethodError

    I'm running NetBeans 4.1 with JDK 1.4.2_06 and I have a project that I've created with existing sources. I can compile everything without issues, however, when I try to run my file within the project for testing purposes, NetBeans recognizes that a main method exists, but I get the following error message:
    java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: main
    Exception in thread "main"
    Java Result: 1
    At this point, my class is just:
    package nites.mda.configproperties;
    public class Debuggable {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.err.println("Main");
    However, when I create a brand new Java project without existing sources, it will run perfectly fine. The class in this project is:
    package test;
    public class testClass {
    public static void main(String[] args) {
    System.err.println("Main");
    Anyone ever come across this issue before?

    The default project run settings in NB 4.1 use the "compile-time libraries" before they check recently compiled sources. If you have an old version of the file you are trying to run in a .jar file somewhere in your compile-time libraries NetBeans will use that file. If that old file does not have a main method you will get the error you mentioned.
    You will be able to compile your class because when compiling NetBeans will work on changed files and only access the compile-time libraries when needed.
    The new project will have no old .jars in its path so you will not run into this conflict.
    I would first try to remove the old copy of your file from the compiling sources path.
    If you can't remove the file try reordering the projects libraries listed under project properties -> libraries-> run tab so that your compiling sources are listed before your "classpath for compiling sources"

    Have you got subversion commandline tools installed? And if so, did you install the version that was built against Apache 2.2. Subclipse is built against ver 2.0 and if you have the wrong version of the APR libraries included in your path then this causes eclipse to crash.
    My solution was to uninstall the commandline tools built against Apache 2.2 and reinstall those that are built against version 2.0
    Thats what I found anyway.

  • I would like to add a project to an existing project.

    I am trying to add a photo project to my existing project. Both projects work independantly. I did the the file add procedure and now both projects work independently when chosen from the project. I would like to link them up now by adding some navigation between them, Maybe a button from one to the other so I can access the function and come back to the original. I cannot get an access to link the two. I am wondering is there a way to do this.
    Project A gets a button that connects with Project B then Project B gets a button that takes you home to Project A.

  • Error while importing an existing project into workspace

    hi,
    I am trying to import an existing project into workspace but getting an error 'vfamilychange' doest not have a .project file .But while checking into the folder structure of project vfamilychange' shows the .project file is already there.
    Please do suggest.

    Hi,
    To correctly use the project in a new NWDS. Please use the following method (for Windows XP only):
    1.) Navigate to the projects folder. This will be in the "DC" or "Local Development" folders in your "Documents and Settings" folder.
    2.) Inside the project folder you will find an "_comp" folder.
    3.) Zip this entire folder with WinZIP or WinRAR.
    4.) Finally goto the new PC / Location of export. Unzip this archive into a new Folder.
    5.) Open NWDS. Goto File->Import->Existing Project into Workspace.
    6.) Select your folder (where you extracted the archive).
    Hope that helps.
    Thanks.

  • Need solution to make changes in existing project sites in Project Server 2010 environment

    Dear Folks,
    Hope you all are doing good and ready to give a way for this requirement. :)
    In project server 2010 environment, I am using InfoPath documents library, Issues, Risks etc in each and every project sites.
    Say, after creation of 100 projects/project sites, I have got a requirement to make some changes in the InfoPath document library and in Issues, Risks list, so I have decided to use the following solution which is actually weird:
    Make the changes in InfoPath document library, Issues/Risks list for 1 of the project site and save that site as template and associate it with running EPT.
    Then, delete the existing project sites (after taking backup) and start recreating it from PWA/Server Settings/ Operational Policies/ Project Sites, so that it will take the latest template. But, seems like it is time taking and handy and actually it's not
    working for some of the projects.
    Request all of you to provide some solution for this.
    Ask more, if my explanation is not clear.
    Regards,
    Shravan

    Hello,
    Regarding mass deleting and recreating Project Sites via the PSI, firstly delete the project sites then run the following PowerShell script to bulk create project sites:
    https://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/Bulk-create-Server-Sites-784f7b29
    I have got a script that bulk deletes projects but this is not published as this could be a dangerous script to run if you did know what to update etc. To give you an idea of how to delete project sites via the PSI see a code snippet below:
    $EPMTYGUID = [system.guid]::empty
    $projectOwnerID = 'd6a0a720-12ac-e211-93f9-00155d153dd4'
    $ProjectList = $svcPSProxy.ReadProjectStatus("$EPMTYGUID","PublishedStore","", "0").Project | format-table proj_uid -hidetableheaders | out-string -stream
    foreach ($projectUid in $projectList)
    if ($projectUid -ne "")
    $projectsforDeletions = $svcPSProxy.ReadProject($projectUid, "PublishedStore").Project | where {$_.projectOwnerID -eq $projectOwnerID} | format-table proj_uid -hidetableheaders | out-string -stream
    foreach ($projUid in $projectsforDeletions)
    if ($projUid -ne "")
    $svcWSSProxy.DeleteWSSSite($projUid)
    Write-host 'Project UID for deleted site' $projUID
    That particular example deletes the project sites for a particular project owner, you could easily modify that to remove the project owner filter if needed.
    Regarding your query about having to delete the project sites to get the changes to take affect, there is no easy option to get the issues and risks list changes to filter though, this would either be manual on each existing site or using code to iterate
    through each existing site and apply the changes programmatically. Depending on if you used site collection content types to set up the Issues and Risks lists, it might be simple to add a new column etc. as you could do this centrally and it will cascade
    down. If you didn't use content types and or its view changes etc. this is a per site change that can be manual or programmatically done. The same applies to the document library, if this was set up using a site collection content type, the changes can
    be modified on the content type and cascaded down. If the library was set up with just a library that used local columns / templates then it will be a per site change - the same as the issues and risks.
    The company I work for (CPS) does have a site sync tool that will programmatically update existing sites based on a specified site so I know it is all possible to do in code!

  • Creation of a new wbs elements to an already existing project

    1. i am using BAPI_BUS2054_CREATE_MULTI to create a new wbs element in an already existing project.When this is done then i am using BAPI_PS_PRECOMMIT and then bapi_transaction_commit
    so this creates the wbs element which i guess but only the element.
    2. Now i need to attach the networks to it which are there in BOM so i am taking all the network data from the table afko joining it with aufk.It is giving all the network data which was there attached prior to the project but the new one it is not showing.The query is
    SELECT afkoaufnr afkopronr aufkpspel aufkktext aufk~loekz
    INTO (afko-aufnr, afko-pronr, aufk-pspel, aufk-ktext, aufk-loekz)
    FROM  ( afko AS afko INNER JOIN aufk AS aufk ON aufkaufnr = afkoaufnr)
    WHERE afko~pronr = w_wbs_cur-psphi.
    3.Now i am comparing this data from above to the BOM data and take the difference of the networks which are to be created.
    But as the above query is not returning the new wbs so it is getting failed.

    i am already using this
      CALL FUNCTION 'CONVERSION_EXIT_KONPD_INPUT'
        EXPORTING
          input     = g_znpsdata_old-project_definition
        IMPORTING
          output    = w_wbs_cur-psphi
        EXCEPTIONS
          not_found = 1
          OTHERS    = 2.
    do i need to use the other one also

  • Add new system to an Existing project in Change Request in Solution Manager

    HI,
    Is it ok to add new systems and remove systems to an existing Project in Solution Manager with Change Request Management activated?
    Currently, Change request is already set-up in our solution landscape, however, a new BI Dev and QA systems were created to replace the old Dev and QA systems that was initially set-up in our Charm. Can you please share with me the steps that I need to do to successfully remove old Dev and QA from Charm and replace them with the new systems? Is it safe to do this in an open project and maintenance cycle?

  • Substitution not carried out when WBS is added to an existing project......

    Hi, I have created a substitution rule to substitute the investment profile in my projects with a blank for any WBS which is not level one.   I am not sure why this rule does not take effect immediately a new WBS is included.  When I try to carry out the substitution manually, I get the error message 'Error when processing asset under construction (AuC) for WBS element'. Any ideas how I can get this substituion to work when a new WBS is added to an existing project?

    You should use the substitution otherway....
    I believe your project is in REL status and also you have defaulted IM profile in the project, so whenever you create a WBSE, the IM profile is inherited to the WBSE and since it is in REL status, the system will create an AUC based on your IM profile and now you are using substituition to remove the IM profile so this will cause the problem...Instead of this....try this...do not default IM profile in project, and instead of removing IM profile for all WBSE which is not level 1, use substitution to write IM profile in WBSE which is only level 1.

  • Flash Builder 4.5 - Flex (source code automatically changed after existing project import)

    Hi all!
    Til yesterday, i was using FB v4.0 and it was perfectly working.
    But now I'm under 4.5 and i have problem when importing my existing projects.
    Now let me introduce the matter:
    The entire project solution is located on my Desktop.
    So, to import this, i go in FB in File>Import Project
    Then i select "Project Repository" option and "Browse" button, then select the project on Desktop...
    So.... import complete and SEEM TO BE successful
    Unfortunately, from the IDE, when i double click on each source files, the code inside is not the expected one.
    In fact, it looks as an older version of my code.
    Then, i exit totally FB4.5...
    ... and open my source files with a simple text editor, i can see that the original code (before import) has been changed by FB4.5...
    So, why???
    for example, this original code:
    * This is a generated class and is not intended for modification.  To customize behavior
    * of this service wrapper you may modify the generated sub-class of this class - WS_rq_login.as.
    package services.ws_rq_login
