Dashboard for monitoring XI messages

Dear All,
Requirement:-
Required a dashboard application to be developed where user
1.End-to-End monitoring features, this includes the message processing and its status in the R/3 system also.
2.Payload based search: Only certain fields can be included for the payload search and this fields need to be maintained in a custom table along with the interface name.
3.Payload editing: This is similar to the above point i.e. the fields to included for editing has to be maintained in a custom table along with the interface name.
4.Searching messages similar to RWB i.e. based on date, interface, Message ID, etc.
5. Other operations that can be done to the message processed in XI are deleting, canceling, reprocessing etc.
I have gone through the documents on SDN where webdynpro can be used for such display.
I didnt got much idea on how to do integration of PI 7.1 with webdynpor application.
Can anybody suggest any other solutions or links for integration or provide suggestion on how to integrate webdynpro with XI.
Any idea
Chirag.

Hi Chirag,
EP - XI integration:
Need to connect to XI from a webdynpro application
One can also develop java application on Netweaver application server which can communicate with XI via SOAP messages.

    Hi,

  • Dashboard for only Monitoring uplink ports ~~~~~SCOM 2012 R2

    Hi Guys,
I want to monitoring signal interface of switch like uplink port. And same i want create dashboard.
Please help me out for creating dashboard for only signal uplink interface port.

If you want to monitor the interface status on a switch, you'll have to build a custom monitor. (Unless you use supported devices e.g. Cisco Catalyst).
Go to authoring > monitors. Under the class 'Node' you can make a new monitor. Choose for SNMP and follow the wizard.
You'll need the OID to monitor. Usually you can find this OID in the MIB's (using a MIB browser) of your device.
MIB's can be found on the vendor website.

    Hello SDNer's,
I often search my own questions and posts entering the keywords in Search for all user messages. After our forum has been revamped this functionality seems not be working as it used to. • Trace level of RWB's Message Monitoring - Detail Message - Tab "Audit log"

    Hi,
My flow is: File -> PI -> Transformed File with seeburger module. Everything is good except the trace level in RWB.
Exactly, in our PI production, under RWB -> Message Monitoring, when I select a message (e.g PI -> Outside) and see its Detail, under tab "Audit Log", I have a log with only 2 pages (which corresponds to the sender part "File -> PI")... whereas in our PI pre-production, I have 4 pages for the exact same flow, on which I have also info of the receiver part "PI -> Outside"...
My question is just: do you know which parameter is involved in this trace level of RWB's Message Monitoring Detail log ?
    regards.
    Mickael
Note: in [Help SAP|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fd/16e140a786702ae10000000a155106/frameset.htm], I see only this sentence "Audit Log: The audit log for the selected message is displayed as the default setting.".

    Hi Shabarish,
Thanks that will help to localize my search.
else by hazard, you don't know which parameter in this tree is for the "Audit Log"?
coz I did a quick look in prod and pre-prod, but it seems the severity is the same (e.g "Info" for most of them) whereas the trace level of "Audit log" is different.

  • Monitor archive messages

    HI Guys,
Still not clear to me how/where should I monitor archived messages in PI 7.1.
TO be honest is the first time I am facing such topic.
It looks like the archive is based on archiving/date ad message id.
Any way to monitor archive interface by namespace or interface name?
Archiving procedure has been defined, but interfaces to be archived have been just defined thereofore I guess
the only archived messages will be the ones from today + retention period.
    Can anyone confirm it?
thanks in advance for your input.

    Hi gaurav,
Manager's Dashboard provides near-real-time performance metrics, enabling you to monitor plant operations at a glance. These user-selected metrics let you drill-down into supporting enterprise data to quickly understand manufacturing and operational activities throughout your plant. With access to key analytical data, you can then avoid or resolve problems by quickly taking corrective action.
Some of the features and benefits of dashboards are

Inventory Management Effectivenessu2014provide summary information on inventory turns
Supplier Performanceu2014provide summary and detailed information on supplier performance

  • How/ Where to Monitor XML Messages of  Provider Webservice ?

    Dear SDNers,
I would like to Monitor XML Messages for Provider Webservice.
I would like to tell upfront that SXM_MONI or SXI_MONITOR in ABAP Stack does not show any Messages.
I have used SOAMANAGER which is the normal Transaction related to doing all things with Webservices. Even here i have found anything Messages.
I could only see Success Messages under Webservice Logs(Webservice Logging and Tracing).
Would like to know how/ where to do i monitor XML Messages for a Provider Webservice ?
The Search around several places could not yield much to me about this Mointoring of Webservices.
A lot of documents talk about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM etc. but nowhere i could encounter about Monitoring of Webservices.
So the normal links to Webservices documents where documents/ links describe about Service Provision/ Consumption, Registry, WS-RM, Protocols, Security, Transports etc. will not be of much HELP to me here.
    Thanks & Regards
    Venugopal

    Hi Nick,
There is no big difference between synchronous interface monitoring and asynchronous interface monitoring.
Just goto SXMB_MONI, click on inbound message, it will automatically displaying one tab with name response message. Click on that response message to view the message content.
In PI7.1 you can see response message and reqquest message in RWB. Open the message by click on that, it will automatically dispay request and response messages
    thanks,

    Usage Alerts
This tool helps you monitor your usage via free text messages sent directly to your mobile device and / or emails sent to your email account. We offer two different types of free usage alerts: data usage alerts and voice and messaging alerts.
Voice and Messaging Alerts: If you have usage based pricing for voice or messaging, we may send you a free text message alert if you exceed, or are trending to exceed, your allowances on or around the twentieth day of your bill cycle.
    How to Get It
Usage alerts are included with all usage based plans; no initial setup is required.
I just had a bill with $112 overage for voice, I believe the overage began 13 days before the end of my billing cycle.  If I'm reading the above correctly I should have been notified but wasn't.  Associate I spoke with couldn't explain but did offer 30% discount.  @.45/min. the charge is much too high anyway.   Can anyone explain why I wasn't notified so I could avoid this overage?

I understand your frustration of receiving a bill that isn't what you expected but sometimes this happened because a number of possible things that may have been over looked or even simply a possible error but I have to point out that the usage automated system updates daily but isn't guaranteed to be 100% reliable because of a number of different variables that could cause the information to be off.  My suggestion is to use the #BAL from the device or #MIN to check usage, these are usually closer to the correct usage balance.
Another got suggestion to avoid this from happening is to log into your MyVerizon app on your device or online and keep track of your activity there..
