Can we achive this by Some Enhancement in SAP or Not ???

Hi Selvakumar,
we can resrict the PO to have a single delivery date in all the line items by means of giving a error message or overwiting the delivery date keyed/determined in the line item.
You can use the BADI -> ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST. In which you need to implement the method PROCESS_SCHEDULE.
(for technical aid - This method will be called for each and every PO line item, From the imporing parameter im_schedule we can get all the details of current PO line, even we can change the data in the current PO line. )

I think it's trying to open it in a gMail eMail & is losing your gMail password that it needs log into gMail, but not 100% positive.
Have you tried Right clicking or Control+click on the eMail link & choose Copy? Works on some, not others.

How to find table that store real data for field 'BETRG' ?

1) datasource 0HR_PY_1 include field 'BETRG' in R/3 source system; extract structure HRMS_BIW_PY1 for datasource 0HR_PY_1, however structure is not used for stroing data. Question: how can we find table which store real data for the field 'BETRG'?
2) If I want to add one type call department leader type which already defined in one enhanced HR table, to calculate the total amount using field 'BETRG' according to department leader type. Should I enhance datasource 0HR_PY_1 by adding department leader type or create new view based on enhanced HR table and another table that include 'BETRG' data, also create new datasource based on this view later on?

Linking Data Merge Field with JavaScript for PDF link

Hello everyone,
I am using the data merge in InDesign to generate a PDF with data from a data source file. The data merge will populate a Product Number field. I want to write a script that will modify the Product Number field to contain a JavaScript Link in the resulting PDF.
For example, the product number [1234-567] will launch: app.launchURL("plsddr://localhost/1234-567|*", true); when the Product Number link is clicked on in the resulting PDF.
Can anyone provide an example on how this could be done, or point me in the right direction? If there is a better way to go about this, please let me know.

What findText returns is a list of Text, but that's totally interchangeable with Word. It appears InDesign can switch at will between Characters, Words, Lines, Paragraphs, and Stories.
Text can consist of one single SpecialCharacter (a column break, or a hard return, or any of the SpecialCharacters enumeration), or of a standard JavaScript "String" object -- a simple Unicode string.
The property that 'holds' the text is "contents" -- so, adding all of this up, to 'get' the text that has been found, you'd typically use
next = list.pop();
alert ("The text contents of this one is '"+next.contents+"'");
and you can build further on that -- using it as a HyperlinkDestination URL, or something like that. The Text item -- 'next' -- still points to the 'live' text it was found at, so be careful not to modify it. Doing something like
next.contents = 'hey what happened';
will change the actual text in your document. But it's also useful to add, for example, a hyperlink to the actual position this text was found on.
(A tip regarding changes: if you are to change your document, the original items findText pointed to will be messed up after you changed the first one! To prevent that, work backwards from the last item found to the first. findText(true) will reverse the order of found items, from last to first -- see the JS Help on that.)

No Data for field in RSA3

Hi Experts,
I have a Business Content Datasource.
I have a field in EKBE table for which I have records in the table.
When I run RSA3 t-code, I do not see the records for that field.
I checked my extract structure enhancement and it looks fine.

First check whether you got any data in the relevant base tables for purchasing (eg EKKO, EKPO,EKBE etc) .
Fill with OLI3BW and then run the setup tables,look in SM37 to see your details job (and run-time duration...)
Once you have done some postings you may find some entries in the corresponding base tables.
Now try to check the data in extract checker rsa3.

Unable to collect NIC data for reporting with MIB-II module

Hi all,
Here we have SunMC 3.6.1 set up with almost all the available modules, including the complete "MIB-II Instrumentation" one. We also have the "Performance Reporting Manager" feature, and want to use it to generate a hole bunch of performance reports for our Sun servers.
The problem I am facing is that I try to collect data through the "MIB-II Instrumentation module". I browse into "Interfaces Group", and there I can see all the NICs I have on the system. I would like to record the "If In Octets" and the "If Out Octets" fields. I right-click on these fields, I select the "Attribute Editor", then I click on the "History" Tab, and I choose to save the history on the disk, at each 300 seconds, and the file type is "circular".
Even after waiting for 24 hours, I don't have access to data that should be recorded. If the Performance Report Manager application, when I list the "data availability" for the server where I activated the collect, all I see is the "Kernel Reader" module collects I already activated: I don't see any "MIB-II Instrumentation" module there...
On the "Server details" window, when I go the the "Module management" tab, if I choose "MIB-II Instrumentation" module, it is charged and activated. However, when I click on the "Rules" button, the only ones appearing are the following:
IF Oper Status (1)   rCompare   -   -   -
IF Oper Status (2)   rCompare   -   -   -
IF Oper Status (3)   rCompare   -   -   -
IF Oper Status (4)   rCompare   -   -   -and I find it to be exactly the same for the "MIB-II (Simple)" module... Could it be the reason why I cannot collect the "IF In Octets" and "IF Out Octets" fields?
Is there a way I can collect more relevant statistics about network usage with SunMC, using the "MIB-II Instrumentation" module, or something else within SunMC?

SunMC?It sounds like a general problem with PRM: though if the Data Availability tab shows it's pulling Kernel Reader data every hour, then it should show your MIB-II info as well.
Even then octet counts aren't terribly useful: they're just big numbers that get bigger: you really need to see rates over time to get an idea of what your network is doing.
You could try the SystemMonitor module that's part of PlusPack:

It shows MB/minute rates for each interface. If that's the type of info you need then you can enable those numbers for PRM or Reporter instead.

Concatenating data for field assignment in Dynamic Action

In a dynamic action I am creating a record in a custom infotype. In one of the custom infotype fields I need to assign a value of the number 28 concatenated with the personnel number. The line in the dynamic action is
W P9007-Z_INS_EE_PK = '28'&Pernr but the problem is I cannot get a concatenation to work. How do you go about concatenating data together in a field assignment?

For this, you will have to write a small routine in a program and then call it in the dynamic action. Consult your technical team on this. Get them to write a routine which would concatenate the value and pass it to field RP50D-FIELD1. You would then call the routine and default the fields as shown below:
F ZPROGRAM(Z_CONCATENATE)
I INS,9007,,,
W P9007-Z_INS_EE_PK=RP50D-FIELD1
Here, ZPROGRAM is the name of the program and Z_CONCATENATE is the routine which would contain the logic to populate field RP50D-FIELD1 with concatenated value.

Issue in Result row display for free char drilled for query with structures

I have a structure in the Row with various calculated subtotals for e.g:
Total Interco sales(selection on some G/L accounts)
Total ext sales(selection on cost center+group accounts)
Total Revenue (formula in structure) = Total interco sales + Total ext sales
In the column I have the key figure called balance.The net effect of this is in the report out we have :
subtotal**********balance
Total interco sales*100
Total ext sales*****200
Total revenue*******300
This is fine in the initial layout ,but when there is further drill down say on the G/l account then the account numbers are repeated for total revenue as well .For e.g

However the users dont want to see the g/l account break up for the total revenue in this case.i.e if g/l account is drilled down then only the break up should be seen for total interco sales & ext sales and not for revenue.i tried using supress individual result in case of total revenue but it was not helpful.Also building something like hierarchy with text nodes isnt feasible since there are a lot of subtotals with different char restrictions.Any ideas on how to achieve this?

There isnt a way to achieve this,but as a workaround we built selection in the structure.

Filling of S table fails for fields with free form text or description

Hello Everyone,
We are trying to rollup a new InfoCube into our BWA system and it fails with a short dump CONVT_CODEPAGE with exception being CX_SY_CONVERSION_CODEPAGE when filling up S table for a description field.
The only difference between the new InfoCube we are trying to load and the other existing InfoCubes is that, the new InfoCube we are trying to load has a field/InfoObject which is free form description for a line item field.
Also, when I checked the application log the system gives out the message "A Character Set conversion is not possible".
Did anyone encounter this issue when trying to create BWA indexes for InfoCubes which have text columns in the InfoCube.
We are currently at revision 52.

It's an interesting and new BWA case for me, so sorry no direct answer. I'll try to replicate it in free time I hope you opened a message with SAP Support for this.
From pure BW modeling perspective I normally model this in a way that this "description" Characteristic A is marked as "Attribute-only" and then used as a display attribute of another Characteristic B, e.g. Line Item Number. From BWA perspective it means that A is not indexed into the accelerator and joined only for display during OLAP time.

As I heard rumours that Win 10 may be shipping circa 24th -26th July , i thought I might delay the order so it arrives ( built to order) with Windows 10
A) anyvody know when the new OS will start shipping?
B) would experienced users sugggest asking for a down grade to Win7 Pro - or is Windows 10 have a good pre launch rep ( unlike Windows 8 did ).

I was going to order with 2 x 16 GB - appreciating that 4 x 8 would be better, but dont want to have to discard RAM later if 32 GB is not enough.

I knew you had the knowledge to move the data; but I've seen a lot of folks get into trouble doing it.
And most have an inflated idea of how much data their systems write.
What kind of write load do you actually have?
Virtually all drives provide SMART monitoring of how much data has been written, as well as projected lifespan, and information on expected program/erase cycles is available online.
The Samsung 850 Pro, for example, should last 6,000 program/erase cycles. Being conservative and assuming a really bad 3:1 write amplification (which is an overestimate), imagine being able to write the entire SSD and erase it 2,000 times.
For a single 512 GB SSD, that would be 1 terabyte of write load per day for almost 3 years. Remember, you can read it as many times as you like; NAND only wears on erase cycles, which happen during re-writes.
Most people do not write anywhere near 1 terabyte of data per day. I use my system heavily and in my case (including it being an SVN server) and I don't even reach 20% of that. I'm spreading the write load across 4 drives with the RAID
array so the load on any one device is divided further.
But you don't have to guess at what you're writing - what does your SMART data say?

Not many people run into this but one has before: Too many columns to be shown in the Enterprise Manager 11g?
I can not find a known bug related to EM/CC, however a lot of bugs exist if you search in MOS for java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: 128
So, best is to create a SR.

Help needed with 'Conditions' for field with read only on demand

Hy guys,
I really need your help now, i have two items named P22_LOGIN_TYPE (..wich can be 'Default' or 'Special') and P22_PASSWORD, i need to turn to 'read only' the second item when the first item is 'Default', i'v tryied the conditional option but with no success, i know is managed from there but it's not working for me, it seems that i don't know exactly how to do it. By the way, i have APEX 2.2.
I need an exact guide (explanation) on how to do it, thank you very much.

Firstly you could set your First item to be a select list with submit. Make the branch go to the same page.
Secondly, on the read-only conditions for your second item, use the condition when item in expression 1 = value in expression 2, and set that to 'Default' in expression 2.
Essentially this will re-submit your page when you make a selection either 'Default' or 'Special'. If 'Default' is selected, then the PASSWORD item will be rendered as read-only. If you don't want to display the PASSWORD item at all, you can put the above condition for the read-only, into the conditions section of the item.
Hope this helps and is not too confusing. It reads a lot worse than it actually is ;)
