Data from multiple application into single application

Hi All,
I have a requirement as below
Suppose there are 4 different cubes and 1 reporting cube .All the 4 cubes are in different servers/geographical regions.I need to get the data into the reporting cube from all the cubes.
The reporting cube is also in a different server
What are the ways or options to achieve this....

I don't think you can go with partitioning.
My suggestion would be to look at any other options. Export and Import.
Few Question:
1. Do you want to send all level0 data from all the four cubes reporting cubes?
2. Do you want to send only a portion/subset of data to the reporting cube? Is it level0 only or even upper level data?
3. Are all the Four cubes BSO/ASO?
4. Is the reporting cube already in place (OR) Are you planning ASO for reporting cube?
5. How big are your cubes?
Depending on how much amount data & at what frequency you want to push to reporting cube, you may have to look at different options
As Ambuj said, if you can give a bit more on requirement then we can help out

Hey,I have an issue with the WEBI reporting.I have a data source that has multiple columns say ( month1, month2, month3, month4,.....month 12, month 13, ....month24) with the sales data for each month.Now say I call the month 1 to month 12 as "current year", and call month 13 - month 24 as "previous year".I want to put a prompt in the report which allows me to select between "current year" and "previous year".Based on the prompt value we get a graph of the sales vs month ....as in if we select "current year", then we get a graph of the sales Vs time( remember that the sales data for each month is in a different column.)and if we select "previous year" then we get a graph of the sales Vs time for previous year..( sales vs time for Month 13, month 14, month 15....month 24).I am not able to pull data from multiple columns into a single object that I can use to populate the graphs.Any help on the same will be appreciated .

We are gone a other way merge multiple information into one target.
First we have created a wrapper variable with the structure of the target variable that we want use in the transformation.
With a assign element we filled the wrapper variable with information from the inputvariable of the bpel process and some addtional information.
Then we called in the transformation the wrapper variable as source and the target variable as target.
We have used that way in some bpel process and it works for us.
Within Oracle SOA Suite 11g, there is the mediator component that does simply routing
and transformation functionality within a composite (SCA).
That's all, I hope that help.

Open Hub - Data from multiple sources to single target

Hello,
I am using Open Hub to send the data from SAP BI to Flat files. I have a requirement where I want to create a single destination from multiple sources. In other words in BI we have different tables for attributes and text. I would like to combine the data from attributes and text into a single file. For eg. I want to have material attributes and text in the same single file as output.
Is this possible in Open Hub? If yes could you please help me to understand the process.

1. Create the Info Spoke and activate it
2. Change it and go to transformation
3. Check the box InfoSpoke with Transf. Using BAdI
4. You are asked if you want to generate the spoke. Say yes & Simply set some texts and activate here, then return.
5. You can now change the target structure. Simply create a Z structure with all the attributs & text field in it in the SE11 and enter it here.
6. Double click on BAdI implementation & then double click again on "TRANSFORM" method of the implementation. It will take you to method
"IF_EX_OPENHUB_TRANSFORM~TRANSFORM"
7. Write a code to select & fill the text field & map other filed with the attribute fields.

I take it each data table has a field which maps to the other table. You can just drag the datastores on to the source interface and create a join between the tables.

BEX Workbook - consolidating common data from multiple queries into a table

Hello BW Gurus,
We have couple of queries. One getting data for Material and its components and the other query getting sales volume for material along with many other data.
In the other tab, I would like to display only the Material and its sales volume as another table.
Is there a setting in the BEX to group only these fields and populate values in a different tab?

Combining data from multiple tables into report

I'll try my best to describe my issue accurately.
I bring in two tables and link them together in my report. First table is a Location table. I create a running total field to summarize the location details in order to to produce total square footage for each location. Let's say the total square footage for Building A is 100,000 ft.².
The second table is an Employee table. This table lists the details of each employee. Each employee record contains a location ID that allows me to link this table to the Location table. Within the report I create a running total field to summarize the total number of employees for each location. Let's say the total number of employees for building a is 12.
Now, I have a group footer which contains the name of each location. Next to the location name I insert my first running total field which summarizes the location details and provides the total square footage. In my example Building A = 100,000 square-foot.
now I'm ready to insert my second running total field which summarizes the number of employees within each location. In my example, Building A =12 employees. The moment I insert my second running total field, the square footage from the first running total field changes to 1,200,000 ft.². I can see the correlation between the number of employee records which is 12 and the change in square footage.
Where am I going wrong?? Please help....

DDL = Data Definition Language. In our case that is, CREATE TABLE statements for your tables and other definitions that are needed to understand your tables structure and there for let us to test and reproduce the problem in our server. Without DDL no one
can execute any query.
How to get DDL: Right click on the table in Object Explorer and select script table as CREATE. Post these create table scripts here.
DML = data manipulation language is a family of queries used for manipulating the data it self like: inserting, deleting and updating data. In our case we need some sample data in order to check the query and get result, so we need some indert query for
sample data.
If you post a "create query" for the tables and "insert query" with some sample, then we could help you without Assuming/Guessing. There is a reason that DDL is generally asked for and expected when discussing query problems - it helps to identify issues,
clarify terminology and prevent incorrect assumptions. Sample data also provides a common point of reference for the discussion. A script that can be used to illustrate or reproduce the issue you have, will encourage others to help.

Move data from multiple Tables to a Single Table & Convert the list to ALV.

My aim is to get the list of Materials with their descriptions, with MRP Controller, with Unrestriced Qty. & the Reorder Qty. So, I have to fetch the data from different tables. But finally I am not able to copy or move the fetched data from multiple tables into the single final table.
Also tell me how to convert this list into ALV.

Fetching Data from Multiple Services or End Applications in BPEL

Hi,
We do have a requirement of fetching the data from multiple services exposed by the end applications. And there are no inter dependencies among these.
Mostly 6 to 10 partner links have to be used to fetch this data. So planning to use the flow N activity to achieve this.
But i did come across a best practice to avoid the use o Flow N activity with number of lines. So i wanted to know pros and cons of this approach and i there is any better way of doing the same in BPEL.
We are using SOA Suite 11.1.1.4.0.

How to submit data from multiple Input Ports in single SUBMIT button click

I am in SPS8.
What exactly steps I need to perform to submit data from multiple Input Ports.
I couldn't able to submit One input Form and one Input Table to BAPI data service in single SUBMIT button click.
I debugged the VC application in SPS8.
While debugging, I found that when I click the SUBMIT button in the Input Form, Only data in that Input
form are being passed to the BAPI, But not the Table Form data.
If I click on the SUBMIT button in another Input Table, Only data from that table is being passed to the BAPI, but not the Input form data.
Essentially I need to submit both of them in one SUBMIT button.

From the word document that you sent to me the steps you are missing to map the appropriate information into the BAPI is first you are not mapping all data rows into the table input port. To do this double click on the input table view and change your selection mode from single to multiple. Then when you click on your link between the BAPI and your input table you will see a new option appears under data mapping "Mapping Scope" select All Data Rows.
That's the first part of the problem to get the BAPI to recognize both the inputs coming from the form and the table eliminate the submit button from the form. Drag and drop a link from the output port of the table view to the Input port of the BAPI. Double click on the link between the BAPI and the table view and open the expressions editor for the two fields:
1/ Automatic Source
2/ SKIP_ITEMS_WITH_ERROR
On the hierarchical folder structure on the right expand expand the Data Fields node to find the fields from the form and map them accordingly.
Now when you hit the submit button on your table it should pass the BAPI all the parameters from both the form and the table.

My vb.net application gets data from another application using NDDE Library. I got stocks prices (open,high,low,close,volume,change......(about 15 records for each stock)) (about 200 stocks) . I don't know if there is a problem in my code.

According to your description, you'd like to get data from another app using NDDE library.
When using the NDDE library, the CPU usage is high. As the NDDE library is third-party library, it is not supported here. I suggest you checking if the problem is caused by the NDDE library.
If you'd like to get data from another app. I suggest you could save the data in the dataBase, and then read it in another application if necessary.

You can automate Acrobat using IAC (InterApplication Communications), as documented in the Acrobat SDK. Your program could loop through a collection of PDFs, load them in Acrobat, extract the form data from each, and generate a CSV file that contains the data.
Acrobat can also do this with its "Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet" function, but this is a manual process.
