Data Not loaded from ap_invoice_lines_interface to the base table

Hi ,
Please I'm working on Interface which load invoices from Cobol system to oracle , anyway procedure is working on fine & all data is loaded to the interface as i'm inserting 4 attributes which is DFF on the invoice line level
Now when i ran the import program all data is loaded to the base table except one of the attributes isnot loaded .
will anyone tell me what is the reason or how can i trace that ..........

Please i got it's a matter of size of the attribute1 segment i increased it ,,,,,,,,,but now the issue that data is saved in the base table but not showing in the screen

Data not loading from R/3 to BW

Hello
I am a new user in SAP BW, but i am quite familiar with it now. I am trying to load or extract data from the SAP r/3 system to the BW system. When i check the value of my extractor in rsa3 , i can see the records. But when i try to load into the cube in BW , it shows in my monitor " Not yet completed/warning" and "0 from 0 records" . My status is yellow in my details tab(though "REquests" message is green) I am using BW 3.x. It remains like that for a day and then the status changes to red without the data being loaded.
Can anyone help me out with this? I tried a lot of things, but still not able to find a solutions to this?

Well i know it doesnot even come to the PSA.. ! because I had tried that earlier, it still says the same.
I had tried activating also again , but with no success
The error message in the "Status" Tab is as follows

Error messages in the "details" tab is as follows.
->Overall Status:Missing Messages or Warning
   -->Requests (messages):Everything OK (green)
   -->Data Request Arranged(green)
   -->confirmed with :Ok (green)
-> Extaction (messages) missing messages
   -->Missing Messages: Request Received (yellow)
   -->Missing Messages: Number of sent records(yellow)
   -->Missing Messages:Selection completed(yellow)
->Transfer (IDocs and TRFC): Missing messages(yellow)
->Processing (DataPacket): no DAta(yelloW)
These were the errors

Data not loading from R/3

Hi all;
we are in BW3.5, and is having some issue that not able to load any data from R/3 side. I tried to create many datasource and cube, but when I load the data into the cube nothing is happening...and after long time it turns it to red. transfer records and added records are both Zeros. On the error details: I created some flat files for testing..and it loaded fine.
under the details tab of the monitor scheduler > got error msg saying 'Request IDoc: Application document not posted'.
No short dump occurs.
Anyideas..what to do?

Data not loading from PSA to infocube

Hi,
I'm facing a problem while extracting the data from PSA to infocube (On APO SIDE). we are using 3 infocubes and we extracting data in such a way that each infocube has only one unit of measure, so with the help of abaper, we have written a start routine in the transformation that for eg: the products with unit of measure KM should come only in the cube.But no data is coming into the cube and it is showing the following errors
From Abap Side:
It turns up with an error message. The error is generated at the start routine method. In the method abap code is added. the code is "DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'." Following is the error displayed :
1.) Call of the method START_ROUTINE of the class LCL_TRANSFORM failed; wrong type for parameter SOURCE_PACKAGE
2.) Exception CX_RS_STEP_FAILED logged

Could you please explain it in more elaborate.
V r not passing anything to DATA_PACKAGE neither using it. In the method call v r passing <_yt_SC_1> to parameter SOURCE_PACKAGE. And inside the method v have written the delete code as "DELETE SOURCE_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'. "
Do we need to change the coding to "DELETE DATA_PACKAGE where VRKME NE 'KM'. "

List the base tables of a view

Hi All,
I have a view but I do not have any information about the base tables and the query that was used to set up this view. Is there a way to atleast list the base tables on which the view was created!

If both have Firewire ports then you can accomplish your goal by using Target Disk Mode. If this is not possible then you can do using an external drive or if you have a local network connect both to your network and use filesharing between the two computers.

If there are multiple apps trying to download at once, only one can download at a time and the rest say "Waiting" until it is then their turn. Try this. Double tap the icon of the Waiting app, and it should resume the download.

• Then press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously and don't release them when it brings up the Turn Off screen; keep holding them until the Apple logo appears.

Delta records are not loading from DSO to info cube

My query is about delta loading from DSO to info cube. (Filter used in selection)
Delta records are not loading from DSO to Info cube. I have tried all options available in DTP but no luck.
Selected "Change log" and "Get one request only" and run the DTP, but 0 records got updated in info cube
Selected "Change log" and "Get all new data request by request", but again 0 records got updated
Selected "Change log" and "Only get the delta once", in that case all delta records loaded to info cube as it was in DSO and gave error message "Lock Table Overflow" .
When I run full load using same filter, data is loading from DSO to info cube.
Can anyone please help me on this to get delta records from DSO to info cube?

Data is loading in case of full load with the same filter, so I don't think filter is an issue.
When I follow below sequence, I get lock table overflow error;
1. Full load with active table with or without archive
2. Then with the same setting if I run init, the final status remains yellow and when I change the status to green manually, it gives lock table overflow error.
When I chnage the settings of DTP to init run;
1. Select change log and get only one request, and run the init, It is successfully completed with green status
2. But when I run the same DTP for delta records, it does not load any data.
Please help me to resolve this issue.

That's not an error, you can see errors within log and bad files.

Index not using the base table

In which scenario, a query will only use the index and not the base table. Please give me some example.

Problem when loading from ODS to the CUBE

Hi Experts,
I am facing an unusual problem when loading data from ODS to the cube.
I have a first level ODS where the delta postings are updated. I have checked the active table of the ODS and the data is accurate.
I have deleted the entire data from the Cube and trying to do a full load from ODS to the CUBE.
I am sure when I run a full load the data goes from Active table of the ODS.
After the full load the the keyfigure values are 0. I have tried doing the testing by loading couple of sales documents and still the keyfigure values are 0.
I wonder when I load the full. The data should be picked exactly the way it is in active table of the ODS.
I also dont have any fancy routines in the update rules.
Please help me in this regard.

Check the procedure did u do that exactly or not. just follow the the laymen steps here:... and let me know ur issue
o     First prepare a flat file in Microsoft excel sheet for master data and transaction data and save it in .CSV format and close it.
o     First select info objects option and create info area then create info object catalog then char, & key figure. Then create id in Char, Name as attribute activate it then in key figures create no and activate it.
o     In info sources create application component then create info source with direct update for master data and flexible update for transaction data. The flat files would be created for master data create info package and execute it.
o     For transaction data go to info provider then select the file right click on it then select option create ODS object. Then a new screen opens give the name of the ODS and create other screen opens then drag character to key fields.
o     Activate it then update rules it will give error to it then go to communication structure and give 0Record mode then activate it then go to update rules it will activate it.
o     Then go to info source then create info package then external data then processing update, Data targets then the scheduling then click start then the monitor.
o     Then other screen opens there we can see if we doesnt able to see the records then come back to the info provider right click on it then other screen opens then select the option activate data in ODS then a screen opens.
o     so select the option QM where it would be in a yellow co lour then by double click then another screen opens then select green color option then click continue it and it comes to the previous screen then select the option and click save it would be underneath of it just click it up and close it.
o     Then come back to the main screen to the info source to the info package go to the package and right click on it then a screen opens then click schedule without distributing any of the tab directly click the monitor tab. Then refresh it until the records come to the green.
o     Once it is green the click the data target and see the file executed.
o     Now go to the info provider then a right click on the file name then create info cube. Then a new screen opens and gives the name and activates it. The drag the key figures to the other side, time characteristics to the other side, and chacetristics to the other side.
o     Then create the dimension table then assign it and activate it .Then go to file name right click on it then select the option create update rules select ODS option and give the file name and activate it .
o     Then come back to the main screen and refresh it. Whenever you see 8 file names you will know that it is undergoing the data mart concept.
o     In the main screen click ODS file right click then a pop up screen opens select the option update ODS data target. Then another screen opens in that we are able to see 2 options full update, initial update then select initial update.
o     Then another screen opens info Package there the external data , data targets , scheduler select the option later in background option then a another screen opens just click immediate then click save automatically it closes then click start option.
o     Then select monitor option then the contents then the field to be elected then the file to be executed.

Java console not accessible, will not load from FFx tools dropdown menu (had same prob with 3.6.15). Latest Java installed and IS accessible thru control panel

XP OS, have NoScript installed, disabled, Java console still will not load from FFx.

I followed your instructions and installed Developer Suite 10G on Windows Vista Home Premium edition. I have Oracle 11G DB running on the same machine.
Two points, Steve:
1. When I tried to set the maximum virtual memory to 6110 an error message displayed from Windows and told me that I can't set the maximum virtual memory to more than 4096. I set it to 4090 and it worked and I got nothing wrong during the installation process.
2. After installing JInitiator and disabling Java on Firefox I called the http://127.0.0.1:8889/forms/frmservlet page and everything seemed to be OK because the Oracle Forms Services logo appeared and then a successful installation message appeared , but as I clicked (ok) to continue a gray screen appeared inside the browser (like the one displayed when you try to run a Java applet inside a browser) and then I wait to death till something appears but sadly nothing. I just get a blank gray screen inside my Firefox browser.
Do you have any idea what to do to solve the problem?

NQSError: 15001 Could not load navigation space for the subject area

Hi gems,
I am creating repository with some subject areas from one of the Old repository which has no errors. New repository is giving error as
nQSError: 15001 Could not load navigation space for the subject area
nQSError: 15004 Internal Error: Missing Functional dependency association for the column
But actual for particular column n OLD Repository it is not giving any error
Can anyone help me why this is giving this error.

Hi Manu,
Please check if all the columns in the copied subject areas are having links to BMM layer and physical layer columns. If the pulled tables does not have proper joins with other BMM tables, it also will cause load naviagtion error.
While copying the subject area from another RPD you must have missed some objects or joins. Please verify.
