Data not pipulating into table

Hi sdns,
i have dreated 2 classes:-  1)main
                                        2)sub
<h5>code of main:-</h5>
public class main {
     Collection plist = new ArrayList();
     Connection conn = null;
     Statement st;
     public void get_details()
     try
Class.forName("com.microsoft.jdbc.sqlserver.SQLServerDriver");
conn = DriverManager.getConnection( "jdbc:microsoft:sqlserver://10.10.30.25:1433;databaseName=TrackingSystem","sa","sa" ) ;
st = conn.createStatement();
String str = "select * from [Project Table]";
ResultSet rs = st.executeQuery(str);
String a = rs.getString(1);
String b = rs.getString(2);
String c = rs.getString(3);
while(rs.next())
pdetails rec = new pdetails();
rec.setEname(a);
rec.setRname(b);
rec.setDid(c);
plist.add(rec);
catch(Exception e)
public Collection getPlist() {
return plist;
public void setPlist(Collection collection) {
plist = collection;
<h3>code of pdetails</h3>
public class pdetails {
private String Ename;
private String Rname;
private String Did;
public pdetails()
Ename = new String();
Rname = new String();
Did = new String();
public pdetails(String Ename,String Rname,String Did)
this.Ename = Ename;
this.Rname = Rname;
this.Did = Did;
public String getDid() {
return Did;
public String getEname() {
return Ename;
public String getRname() {
return Rname;
public void setDid(String string) {
Did = string;
public void setEname(String string) {
Ename = string;
public void setRname(String string) {
Rname = string;
I have created a jar file for this classes And imported as a model in my web Dynpro Application.
And mapped it to component controller.
And from there to view controller.
I had a view with a table .
I created the table by using template of table.
And Binded it to the context of the view.
And the code i have written in the WDDOINIT() method is:-
IWDMessageManager msg = wdComponentAPI.getMessageManager();
try
Collection c;
c= new ArrayList();
main m = new main();
m.get_details();
c = m.getPlist();
wdContext.nodePdetails().bind(c);
wdContext.nodePdetails().invalidate();
catch (Exception e) {
// TODO: handle exception
msg.reportWarning("Sorry");
But data is not getting populated in my table.Anything i have to add to my code.
Or else have i done anything wrong in my code
Please help me in this Regard.

What I mean is replace these 2 lines:
wdContext.nodePdetails().bind(c);
wdContext.nodePdetails().invalidate();
with this code:
wdContext.nodePdetails().invalidate(); // erase previous search results
for (int i=0; i<c.size(); i++) { //iterate
SomeObject o = (SomeObject) c.get(i);  // store record in temp variable
PdetailsElement e = wdContext.nodePdetails.createPdetailsElement(); //create context element
e.setPropA(o.getPropA()); // set properties of context element
etc. // set properties of context element
wdContext.nodePdetails.add(e); // add context element to context node
I assume that you have bound the table to nodePdetails, andt that this node has cardinality 0..n.
Also, the elements of this node contain the 3 strings that you want to display in the table.
So when you iterate over the collection that is the result of your query,
you create a new element of the context structure (Pdetail) and set the 3 string values.
Finally add each context element that was created to the context node (add).
Hope this helps, good luck.

  • MIGO- Goods Issue- Order, the value is not written into Table COSP

    Hi,
      We make a substitution of wbs element of line item( BSEG-PROJK ). The wbs filed will be filled automatically when the user input a cost center or a order number.
    But we found some inconsistency in standard report S_ALR_87013558 OR CJI3.
    The following is what we have done:
    In Tcode F-02, we enter a order(e.g. A), then the WBS Element is filled automatically. when we post the document, and go to Standard report: S_ALR_87013558,
    we can see the amount in the report.
    In MIGO, we make a goods issue by order(e.g. A. Movement type is 261) , when we post, Material Document and Accounting document and Controlling document , but in report S_ALR_87013558 or CJI3. the amount is wrong, we can not see the amount we have done in MIGO.
    The movement type 201 is also wrong, the value is also not written into tabl cosp.
    But GI for project-movement type 221, the value is written into table cosp.
    Can you tell me this is wrong or right? if right, why? if wrong, how can i correct it, i need some customizing or others? or my substitution affect the result?
    Best Regards
    qingda

    Sorry, not reply these days.
    And very thanks for all your replies.
    I am a abaper, not familiar with the business.
    The business consultant want to control budget, control cost.
    At first, he let me do a substibution in FI line item of besg-projk(WBS Element), when we he test the substitution in TCode F-02, the WBS field is filled automatically as per G/L account and Cost Center or as per G/L Account and Order, and then in Standard Report 'S_ALR_87013558', we can see the changes of the cost.
    But when biz consultant do a MIGO->Goods Issue by order, we can not see the changes of the cost,but the value of WBS in FI Accounting Document is substituted correctly.
    And if we enter the WBS manually when we do a MIGO->Goods Issue by order, we can see the changes of the report 'S_ALR_87013558'.
    In the original post, i was wrong, when we do a goods issue with movement type 201, the result is the same as 261, also we cant see the changes. but if we enter the wbs manually(movement type 201),the changes is write to COSP table.
    The solution about the original requirement is right or wrong?
    Thank You All.
    Best Regards

  • Data not getting into internal table

    Hi experts,
    I have a query as given below:
      IF equipment_number IS NOT INITIAL.
        SELECT        eqart
                            equnr
                            invnr
      FROM  equi INTO table lt_equi
        FOR ALL ENTRIES IN equipment_number
        WHERE equnr = equipment_number-equipment_number.
        IF lt_equi[] IS NOT INITIAL.
          SELECT kunnr name1
            FROM kna1
          INTO CORRESPONDING FIELDS OF TABLE lt_kna1
          FOR ALL ENTRIES IN lt_equi
          WHERE kunnr = lt_equi-kunde.
        ENDIF.
    No data is coming in lt_kna1 table,
    I have changed the data declaration of lt_kna1. Earlier it was declared sa TYPE SATNDARD TABLE of kna1,
    and I changed it to:
      types: begin of ty_kna1,
              name1 type kna1-name1,
              kunnr type kna1-kunnr,
             end of ty_kna1.
    data: lt_kna1  TYPE TABLE OF ty_kna1 with header line,
    After doing this change, the problem started coming. Earlier the data was coming correct in it_kna1.
    How to solve this issue?
    Thanks,
    Ajay.

    Hi Ajay,
    Your field declaration is not in the sequence of the database table in KNA1.  Please correct it & also refer to domain directly instead of referring to field. Just do as below :-
    types: begin of ty_kna1,
    KUNNR type KUNNR,
    NAME1 type NAME1_GP,
    end of ty_kna1.
    Also check the value of the field KUNDE in lt_equi-kunde . It migh be because of CONVERSION EXIT .
    Bohn
    As to answer yuor query KUNDE in EQUI is same as KUNNR in KAN1.
    Regards
    Abhii

    ------------------------End of Beans Program ---------------
    Questions:-
    1) when we are submitting values to form it is not stored into backend (Oracle 9i)
    2) please send some source code for how to fetch values from backend and wants stored into Combo box /select Box
    3) We have faced problem of How call methods of Bean program into JSP programs

    The code to get the values from the database and store them in the combo box or select box would be as follows:
    <%
    zSQL = "select id, name from Users"
    rs = Con.ExecuteQuery(zSQL);
    if(!rs.next()) {
    %>
    <select name="id">
    <option value="0">select the name</option>
    <%
    do {
    %>
    <option value="<%= rs.getString(1) %>"><%= rs.getString(2) %></option>
    <%
    while (rs.next());
    %>
    </select>
    <%
    else {
    out.println("No Record Found");
    %>
    This would help you better.
    and for your first question, please check whether u are able to connect database with your connection method. if you are able to connect to the database, then please check the values (print them on the browser) which are posted from form, if it is also correct then check you r insert statement.
    and for your last question the best tutorial is JAVA API.
    Cheers!

  • Uploading excel data(.xls) directly into table

    I have a requirement to develop a form that allows the user to upload an excel file data into already created table.(user is not willing to save it as a .CSV file :(
    I have to skip some rows in the beginning of the sheet and start uploading data from 25th row.
    Any guidance wud be appreciated.
    Its urgent ,i am stuck.
    Thanks

    Hi Arie,
    And here I thought you are preaching for simple solutions :)
    Depending on the context it might well be the simplest solution to implement and work with :). At my current customer I have implemented it this way, too. The only user to import the data is a skilled "power user", working frequently with MS Access.
    All I did was to build a staging table and the final target table. Then I had a package validating the data in the staging table and marking the errornos rows. In MS Access he could easily set up a macro to copy the data via the database link and call the stored procedure. All by clicking just a simple button ;).
    Most of all I am advocating to have a good look at the requirements, especially at the skills of the actual users to do the work. There are soo many different ways to build a solution, the hard task is to choose the best suited one wisely.
    Also, I have come to dislike solutions that involve too many manual steps. It will cause problems eventually, most certainly when you have to do it quickly due to time pressure.

  • Creation of a table with static data(not a DB table)

    Hi
    I need to display a table with some static data in an OAF page. This table is not a DB table. It is like an HTML table
    I have placed the following query
    SELECT 'A1','B1' FROM DUAL UNION SELECT 'A2',B2' FROM DUAL in the VO. But it is returning a single row which is acting as the header of the table.
    Can anyone help me to create the table with 2 rows inserted in it.
    Thanks

    use the following code PR method of CO
    OAApplicationModule am = pageContext.getApplicationModule(webBean);
    OAViewObject oav = (OAViewObject)am.findViewObject("XXVO");
    oav.first();
    let me know in case of any issue

  • Data not go to table?How to Resolve it?

    Hi All,
    I created one form based upon a table.In that form i want one field value as automatic value from another table.
    I write the sql query to a particular field.the value comes to that form automatically.But the problem is when i submit that particular form ,that value is not inserts into that table.
    Please give solution to my problem.
    Thanks&Regards,
    Raghu

    Hi Raghu,
    Create a Dynamic Action to fetch the value and assign it to the field, Consider that I created the form using EMP table, In that form, as like your requirement I want DEPTNO populated automatically from DEPT table. So I created the Dynamic Action as follows,
    Event: Page Load
    Action: Execute PL/SQL Code
    PL/SQL Code:
    BEGIN
    SELECT deptno INTO :P3_DEPTNO FROM dept WHERE dname='ACCOUNTING';
    END;
    Page Items to Submit: P3_DEPTNO
    Page Items to Return: P3_DEPTNO
    Change the code as per your environment/requirement. I hope It will helpful to you.
    Thanks

  • Popup not INSERTing into table and not refreshing called page ...

    Greetings
    Environment: APEX 3.1.1.00.09 on AIX 5.3 in 10gR2
    I have read many of the threads concerning my issue and I feel I am getting close to the answer but somehow have combined too many of the suggestions and am tripping over my own code.
    Please look at my sample application on apex.oracle.com:
    Workspace: galway
    User: gwicke
    Password: gwicke
    Please start with Page3, select any Agency and then click 'Add New Contract'.
    There is currently a <strong>BOLD </strong>label 'Add New Builder' that is a link that should open a popup window. Type any name into the field and click 'Create Builder'. This should INSERT the row into the builder table, close the popup, assign the new builder name to the calling page item 'Builder Name' and populate the screen item.
    In it's current state, the application will open the popup window, allow entry and close upon clicking the 'Create Builder' button. However the new builder is NOT inserted into the table and the calling page item is not populated.
    By looking at the Page Items and Session State I can see the correct values assigned to the 'Pn_BULDER_NAME' items on both the popup page (4) and the calling page (2) but the value does not appear on the screen.
    I've read where there's really two parallel universes, no sorry, two versions of the screen items, one in Session State and one that is displayed in the browser and there are steps to take to be sure the one displayed is updated from Session State as I would like in this case.
    I've entered Javascript code in the Page4 - header to define the 'passBack2()' function and code in the 'Optional URL Redirect' section of the 'Add Builder' button to hopefully execute the ARP for the INSERT, assign the Page2 items and close the popup. It doesn't quite get all that done.
    Any helpp is greatly appreciated. Thanks to Denes for most of the code suggestions I've followed.
    -gary

    Hi Gary,
    I think that there's a very simple solution to this - didn't really spot it last night.
    Firstly, yes, you could use a "button" to handle the call for the popup - just make sure that the button is a URL type "button" that is actually an A tag with the call in the URL target setting. Alternatively, you could take you existing A tag and use the same class attribute for one of your buttons as this should make it look like a button.
    More importantly, though, I think that we could do it as:
    1 - On your page 2 popup call, clear that cache for page 4 (the popup page) - I have already done this in your app by updating the url
    2 - On the popup page, allow the user to enter in their desired P4_BUILDER_NAME value (not sure if you want to do something to make this unique?)
    3 - Let the user click the Create button on the popup. This will submit the page, which will get your P4_BUILDER_RANK (the pk) value and insert a new record into the table (you could consider creating a sequence and a trigger to handle the creation of a new PK value?).
    4 - Assuming the P4_BUILDER_RANK then exists (it wouldn't if there was an error somewhere), then conditionally display a region that had a piece of javascript that submits page 2 and then closes itself - we don't need to pass anything back to page 2 (see below)
    5 - As the P4_BUILDER_NAME and P4_BUILDER_RANK exist in the session, when page 2 is being reloaded, (A) the select list would be updated with the new Builder (still not sure why all my entries appeared at the bottom instead of in alpha order??) and (B) both P2_BUILDER_NAME and P2_BUILDER_RANK can have Post Calculation Computations set (NVL(:P4_BUILDER_NAME,:P2_BUILDER_NAME) and NVL(:P4_BUILDER_RANK, :P2_BUILDER_RANK) respectively) - the effect of this is, if there are values stored in the P4 page items, we use them, otherwise we use whatever values were in the P2 page items
    6 - Finally, to stop (5) happening in all page 2 loads, you would need to clear the cache for page 4 in as many places as possible - eg, branches to page 2 or buttons on page 2
    The reason we can't pass values back to page 2 is that one of the items is a select list. The value we want to select won't appear on the select list until the page has been submitted. So, we can't set the value and submit because the value isn't there. We can't submit and set the value because javascript wouldn't know when the page has been updated (or, at least, you would have to put some independant mechanism in place to identify this, which may become complicated).
    So, simply put, as long as we know that if the values are in the session, we can use Post Calculation Computations to set our fields to these values. The only thing to bear in mind is that we need to ensure that these session values only exist when we need them - hence clearing the cache. This principle should work for any type of field - but, as you have no doubt seen, simple text fields can be updated by the popup directly as the field should accept any value we give it.
    My only other recommendation would be to completely remove the MRU processes from the page as these are not required (they just confuse the issue) and you could make your PK fetch and record insert into a single process - just to keep things neat and tidy, you understand!
    When I finished with your app last night, I did leave it so that javascript would create a new option on the select list and then set the value. But the above methodology seems to be a lot simpler.

  • Insert data file name into table from sql loader

    Hi All,
    I have a requirement to insert the data file name dynamically into table using sql loader.
    Example:
    sqlldr userid=username/passwword@host_string control=test_ctl.ctl data=test_data.dat
    test_ctl.ctl
    LOAD DATA
    FILED TERMINATED BY ','

    file_name varchar2(20) ---------- This should be the data file name which can be dynamic (coming from parameter)
    test_data.dat
    1,test
    2,hello
    3,world
    4,end
    Please help..
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    Anuj

    you'll probably have to write your control file on the fly, using a .bat or .sh file
    rem ===== file : test.bat ========
    rem
    rem ============== in pseudo speak =============
    rem
    rem
    echo LOAD DATA > test.ctl
    echo FILED TERMINATED BY ',' >> test.ctl
    echo INTO TABLE test >> test.ctl
    echo (empid number, >> test.ctl
    echo ename varchar2(20), >> test.ctl
    echo file_name constant %1% >> test.ctl
    echo ) >> test.ctl
    rem
    rem
    rem
    sqlldr userid=username/passwword@host_string control=test.ctl data=test_data.dat
    rem =============== end of file test.bat =======================

  • Item line data not flowing into SAP Adobe form layout

    Hello Gurus,
    I am currently working on adobe form layout for a sales document in SAP, i have created a master page
    as well as a couple of pages in the design view. Data at the header level are working properly, but the item data
    are not flowing into the layout, as nothing appears in the print preview for the item level of the sales document.
    I have done all the necessary binding with all the right field names, my subform to the best of my knowledge seems to be well
    defined, but yet to no avail.
      I would like to know what yet could be the reason for this issue and how i can go about fixing it.
    Thank you.
    Ahm.

    Hi Vijai,
    In our project, we have the same requirement but I am one step behind than you. I am able to generate the PDF form but not able to generate the data. Means all the fields are coming as disabled fields.
    Can you please send your code as a sample code so that I can have a look at that and check where I am doing wrong/missing. My id is sandeep.kamdar in gmail

  • How can I lock a table so that a person can only enter data, not manipulate the table?

    I don't want to Lock the table as Numbers does it so perhaps locking is the wrong term. What I want to do is to lock the formatting of the table so it is possible to enter data but not possible to change the position, number of columns etc. I've been searching and all I can come up with is the regular lock function. But I still want to be able to use the cells. Just not change formatting.
    Thanks, Brad

    you cannot.  When you lock a table the whole table is locked.  I would consider segmenting the user input into a seprate, un-locked table and placing the calculations in a locked table

  • Data not viewable in table using Control file  CharacterSet AL32UTF8

    i have a flat file which contains Chinese characters and English Characters
    I have to create a control file, to insert the data in this flat file to the Table
    The characterset i am using in my control file is AL32UTF8
    When i use this characterset the data is getting loaded into the table,but i am not able to view the Chinese characters.
    i am able to see some Upside down question mark symbol
    Please help me of how to view the chinese characters into the table
    Is that any other characterset i have to set in Control file

    NLS_LANG is an environment variable. I'm assuming you're on Windows, so it's probably something like
    Control Panel | System | Advanced | Environment Variables
    Given that you're using Toad, though, there may be someplace there where you set the character set. There is a discussion on Eddie Awad's blog on how various tools can be made to display Unicode data
    http://awads.net/wp/2006/07/06/sql-developer-and-utf8/
    Some of the comments discuss Toad, though that's not a tool I'm familiar with.
    If you happen to be able to use iSQL*Plus, since that's browser based, it supports unicode natively. That's often the easiest solution.

  • Data not visible in table o/p when compiled with webdynpro compiler

    Hi,
    I am using a Z BAPI to retrieve data from backend ECC6 server and show it using a VC application.
    When I compile this VC application using FLASH(FLEX2), the data is shown in the table, whilst if the VC application is compiled using Webdynpro compiler, the data is not shown in the table.
    The No. Of Rows  parameter has been updated with 10.
    Please suggest what can be done so that data is shown when compiled with Webdynpro compiler.

    Hi Ranu,
    WebDynpro Compiler only supports Webservices.
    You can look at the below link to get into full details -
