Data transformation tool reset

I removed the left hand side argument from a transformation I'm working on (in
the test view). How can I add back in sample data to run tests on?

  • Data transformation tool in wli8.1

    hi,
    We are trying to explore the data transformation tool of the wil8.1.
    We have cobol copy books as input and we need to end up populating oracle tables.
    These are the steps we are following:
    1. Use format builder to change cobol copy books into .mfl files
    2. Import them into the existing schema.
    3.. Create a schema(.xsd) which would take the output which then could be transferd
    into the java variables while creating the .jcx file.
    3. Create a .dtf file that would take in the .mfl as the input and the output
    would be the .xsd file created in step 3.
    4. Create a .jpd file that would be initiated with the client request and would
    use the .dtf as an input in the control send node and will return the .xsd file
    creted in the step3.
    The xsd file we have created is:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <xs:schema
         xmlns:xs="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema"
         xmlns:tns="http://www.bea.com/TransformationWeb/part1xform.xsd"
         targetNamespace="http://www.bea.com/TransformationWeb/part1xform.xsd">
    <xs:element name="part1xform"
    type="tns:part1xform"/>
    <xs:complexType name="part1xform">
    <xs:sequence>
    <xs:element name="part1xform-rct_nbr" type="xs:integer"/>
    <xs:element name="part1xform-fac_nbr" type="xs:integer"/>
    <xs:element name="part1xform-rct_suff" type="xs:string"/>
    </xs:sequence>
    </xs:complexType>
         </xs:schema>
    We have not as yet gone to the stage where we can create a .jcx file using the
    output of the first stage. The error we get while trying to run the .jpd file
    in the last step is:
    An unexpected exception occurred while attempting to locate the run-time information
    for this Web Service. Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:com/bea/transformationWeb/part1Xform/Part1XformDocument
    Any help you coulde provide in this would be really appriciated.
    However, your suggestions on some other method to be followed for data tranformation
    from cobol copybooks to oracle tables are also welcome.

  • Photoshop crashes when using Free Transform Tool

    Hello All Forum Members,
    Recently Photoshop CS6 crashes when I attempt to use the Free Transform Tool through the shortcut (Ctrl+T).
    It also crashes very often when using any of the free transform/transform tools via the menu as well, though not as often as the previous listed situation.
    This experience only occurred recently - for all the time I have been using CS6, this has never happened.
    I have read another thread similar to this, though I don't think the cause of the problem is the same as this was only a recent experience.
    Any help will be appreciated.
    Many thanks in advance.

    Hi Curt Y,
    Thank you for the quick reply!
    By immediately, do you mean when the loading or when the actual interface has finished loading?
    I have tried both, but neither seems to have worked.
    Is there a menu or someplace else I can reset preferences?
    Many thanks!!!

  • Data Transformation Services Execution Utility stopped working and was closed

    Hi,
    I had the SSIS packages (ETL job) working fine for a long time and then we moved the server/machine and ETL job keeps failing.
    The ETL job run number of packages. The ETL job fails for the first run then I set the retires and it works in 2nd or 3rd try on the ETL job but it fails daily for the first run where DTexec.exe crash (log pasted below)
    Server: Windows 2008 R2
    SQL Server:  SQL Server 2008 R2
    RAM 64 GB
    CPU cores 8
    we had the similar specs on previous machine and ETL job worked fine. Only difference is we have 2 SQL server instances now on same machine.
    I am suspecting it's an issue with ETL packages  but why it was working fine before for a long time and after machine move it keeps failing.
    Any thoughts?

  • R12 – Data transformer in GL Interface

    Hi,
    If any know about R12 – Data transformer in GL Interface.
    please help me on this.
    Regards
    Varma.

    Hi, Not sure what specifically it is you wish to know but in summary IDT is a user-friendly tool that facilitates the import of data from external feeder systems to Oracle General Ledger. External data is loaded in to GL_Interface and IDT rules then transform data into reformatted data that can then be imported into GL. Rule Sets provide instructions to transform data in the GL_INTERFACE table including:
    Use String Functions to parse and concatenate substrings
    Call PL/SQL Functions to perform sophisticated transformations
    Reference Lookup Tables to convert one value into another
    In summary, IDT provides easier Integration with Non-Oracle Systems allowing:
    Automatic data conversion that converts disparate data formats into an Oracle format
    Reapplication of the same rules each time you transfer
    Automatic data validation on imported dataIt provides Greater Flexibility to:
    Transform data from any source, regardless of the table structure of the source or target table
    Conditions allow you to control when Transformation Rules should be appliedI hope this summary has been useful. Please mark this post as correct or helpful.
    Regards

  • Photoshop crashes after using transform tool in animation window!

    My photoshop (CS5 on a mac) has been crashing anytime I use the free transform tool in the animation window. It works perfectly fine in regular photoshop, but the second I switch over to animation using the select tool then the free transform tool will crash photoshop and I'll lose what I was working on. I've tried a few things already, but my problem seems to be super specific and nobody else has had this happen to them.

    Hi Haylee,
    Sorry about Photoshop CS5 crashing when you're working in the animation timeline.
    Do you get a crash log that shows up?
    Could you provide the details in that crash log here in the Forum discussion?
    Have you tried creating a new user account, and tested working with this file and animation under that user to see if it crashes there?
    blogs.adobe.com/crawlspace/2012/07/photoshop-basic-troubleshooting-steps-to-fix-most-issue s.html#Permissions
    Is PS CS5 up to date? The latest version of CS5 is 12.0.4
    Which Mac OS Version are you working on? Is it up to date?
    What happens if you create a NEW file, and create an animation timeline on that one, do you still get the same crashing behavior? Is it just with this one file?
    Regards,
    Pete

  • Can I use the transform tool to resize individual text?

    I just installed Illustrator CS6 trial. I have been on Illustrator 9 for years. I am used to clicking on the type tool, then clicking on the artboard and typing a single word. I am not using actual text boxes. When I do that in CS6 I cannot get a bounding box to show me how to resize it using the transform tool (arrow tool). I've gone to view>show bounding box, but it does not do anything. HELP!

    april,
    You may try to reset the preferences.
    You can close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup. If that does not help, you may Move the folder with Illy closed.

  • Free transform tool fail

    Hello.
    Im really frustrated with how the free transform tool works for me (or in that case, it doesnt work)
    I am using Illustrator CS4 on a PC.
    Adobe Help for that software states:
    Select one or more objects.
    Select the Free Transform tool .
    Start dragging a corner handle on the bounding box (not a side handle), and then do one of the following:Hold down Ctrl (Windows) or Command (Mac OS) until the selection is at the desired level of distortion
    First of all Im unable to select anything with the free transform tool, so I use the regular selection tool first to select my object.
    As you can see after selecting the object I have selected the free transformation tool, grabbed the corner and pressed Control Key on my keyboard (tried both keys as well). The transformation tool refuses to work as it does in Photoshop.
    I have tried to reset my keybindings to Illustrator default.
    I have tried first clicking the corner, holding it and then pressing down the CTRL without moving the mouse as was stated on some other forums googled with this issue.
    I have tried setting my keyboard to American US in Windows.
    As you can see the object is a very simple rectangle, its not a part of any type of group.
    Im working on a european version of CS4 Master Collection bought in London UK.
    I have tried this on a US version that I have at work, it has the same issue.
    I have seen and followed the instruction from various YouTUbe movies and the tool simply wont comply to my commands.
    I am pissed.
    Halp pleez?

    function(){return A.apply(null,[this].concat($A(arguments)))}
    Placed raster images will not distort with the Free Transform Tool.
    Linked (as opposed to embedded) raster images will not distort.
    If you enclose an embedded raster image in an Envelope (ex: Make With Mesh, 1 Row 1 Cell), then it can be distorted by the Free Transform Tool using the modifier keys, without having to dink around with the Envelope handles.

  • Transform Tool - Photoshop CS6 crashing on Mac

    Is any one having trouble with the Transform Tool in Photoshop CS6 crashing when trying to resize on Mac?
    I've got Photoshop CS6 Extended with software version: 13.0.6
    Mac Software Version: Yosemite 10.10.2
    Any help would be appreciated.

    What is your setup like?  How much installed RAM, how much available hard disk space?  Separate drive for Photoshop scratch?
    Have you already tried trashing your Photoshop preferences yet and letting the application create new ones for you?  Have you Repaired Permissions with Apple's Disk Utility?  If not, do both at once.
    To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
    Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (Bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
    Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
    Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.
    NEW Video! Julieanne Kost created a video that takes you through two ways of resetting your Photoshop preferences. The manual preference file removal method is between 0:00 - 5:05. The keyboard shortcut method is between 5:05 - 8:18. The video is located here.
    Mac OS
    Important: Apple made the user library folder hidden by default with the release of Mac OS X 10.7. If  you require access to files in the hidden library folder to perform Adobe-related troubleshooting, see How to access hidden user library files.

    BOILERPLATE TEXT:
    Note that this is boilerplate text.
    If you give complete and detailed information about your setup and the issue at hand,
    such as your platform (Mac or Win),
    exact versions of your OS, of Photoshop (not just "CS6", but something like CS6v.13.0.6) and of Bridge,
    your settings in Photoshop > Preference > Performance
    the type of file you were working on,
    machine specs, such as total installed RAM, scratch file HDs, total available HD space, video card specs, including total VRAM installed,
    what troubleshooting steps you have taken so far,
    what error message(s) you receive,
    if having issues opening raw files also the exact camera make and model that generated them,
    if you're having printing issues, indicate the exact make and model of your printer, paper size, image dimensions in pixels (so many pixels wide by so many pixels high). if going through a RIP, specify that too.
    A screen shot of your settings or of the image could be very helpful too,
    etc.,
    someone may be able to help you (not necessarily this poster, who is not a Windows user).

  • Updated Photoshop CC - Transform Tool Stuck on Percentage

    Hello,
    I updated this afternoon and my transform tool (set scale) seems to have lost the right-click function of being able to choose what Unit of Measurement I am on. It is stuck on percentage. My CS6 still works. The image below is referring to the menu I am talking about. I've looked in the Preferences menu, reset my Photoshop and cannot seem to get this function back. Thank you.

    Thanks. I'm aware I can type them, it just defeats the purpose of seeing the width and height of the objects before altering them if you have to enter a random number to have it stay as pixels, cm, etc. Hopefully this gets fixed soon.

  • Transform tool changes opacity

    really weird bug, two of us in our studio now have experienced this on different documents.
    When using the transform tool on a smart object, after you hit enter to set the change, the opacity of the layer below it changes to 50%. If I go to edit undo it will not reset the transform change. I have to go to histiry and reset it that way.
    Anyone have any ideas?
    Photoshop CC 2014
    Mac OSx 10.6.8
    Thanks everyone!

    Please provide a more detailed description (you mention a "Transform Tool" that would seem to not exist in Photoshop, what are the Layer’s kinds, are Groups involved, …), possible with screenshots to illustrate the process.
    If this should indeed be a legitimate bug you should report it over at
    Photoshop Family Customer Community

  • All of a sudden transform tool S-L-O-W!

    I've not recently added anything to my computer or changed and PS CS5 or other settings, but starting yesterday, when I start the transform tool, it takes a good 30 seconds at least until I can do anything to size or rotate the selected layer image. I cannot find any online info about this. I did reset my preferences to no avail. Please advise!

    I've not recently added anything to my computer or changed and PS CS5 or other settings,
    Sounds like in fact you did - something has changed in your graphics configuration and it's affecting performance, presumably with OpenGL enabled. If you didn't do it yourself, a system update or a game could have changed settings and not reverted back. Check this stuff. As a preliminary stopgap measure, simply turn off OpenGL in teh prefs.

  • Free Transform tool not working.

    I am using Elements 13 on an iMac OSX 10.10.3.The Free transform tool is not working properly when I try to scale an image. for example, if I type in '140 %' and tick 'constrain proportions', I find that one box shows '140' and the other box shows '14%', or sometimes, '120'. It is very frustrating. does anyone have any ideas about this problem?
    Thanks for any help.

    Since Free Transform is a command rather than a tool, there isn't a specific reset for it. Try deleting the prefs: Go to the editor preferences>general, click this button, and restart the editor:

  • How to save pivot point with free transform tool?

    Hi,
    I'm animating a picture, have the limbs on different layers, so I can just simply use the free transform tool to rotate them into the good position. Although it's a pain to always reset the pivot point from the center. Is there a way to make Photoshop remember where I want the pivot point to be?
    Thanks,
    Fisher.

    Have you tried recording the Transform operation into an action?  I see that some information is stored about the center in there...

    I am new for data mining. I have a project for which we are asked to identify the relationships between variables we got and we were asked to come up with an algorithm from data mining. What are the options available for me as data mining tools and where
    do I start from? How do I travel through this process. Please advice.

    I think that Predixion Insight is the easiest tool to use and is very powerful.
    All you need to have is Windows OS, Office 2010 or 2013 and internet connection. If you want to look at what you need to do before installing Predixion, I recommend you to take a look at the walkthroughs at
