Data Uploading Error

Hi Seniors.
i am doing LSMW . in maintain source field i have maintained TITEL-C-15-Title(MR,MISS,MRS)
Now the issue is whne i go to maintain field mapping and conversion rules & do auto field mapping syatem is not generation
TITEL.Rest of the areas are workin.
Sstem is storing MR,MRS,MISS in Anrex-Adress Type.
Please guide on this.

Hi Rajiv
Data in your DEV system & PRD will differ. But update rule will be same in both the system. So i would suggest you to upload the data only to PSA first and try to check if there is any condition written in the update rule and then check if the data u uploaded to PSA has data which is not matching to the condition in update rule. The problem is at update rule level only, so got to check with update rule.
For eg There is a calculation done at update rule level to calculate time period by subtracting end date from start date. Now if there is a record with null end date or start date, then data will not get loaded to target. Then you can correct this data in PSA and then upload data manually to target.
I hope this example will help u.

Rohini

    Hi,
I don't understand very well, the standard characteristic for images is /CCM/PICTURE.
It's a complex characteristic composed by
    /CCM/DESCRIPTION
    /CCM/URL
    /CCM/MIME_TYPE. (for example image/jpeg).
If your problems still exist, you can send me your file

  • End User Data Upload -  Error

    Hi Friends,
Could you help me out with this:
I am trying to utillize the Data upload feature in Oracle APEX 4.2.
    Procedure:
Create New Page > Data upload
I am giving a transformation here which checks for existing data. If data exists, the transformation updates the table else inserts. I am using the Merge command to execute this:
I am using a "PL SQL Function" here,
    BEGIN
    MERGE INTO DEPT TARGET
USING (SELECT :DEPTNO DEPTNO, :DNAME,:LOC FROM DUAL) SOURCE
    ON (TARGET.DEPTNO = SOURCE.DEPTNO)
    WHEN MATCHED THEN
    UPDATE SET TARGET.DNAME = SOURCE.DNAME, TARGET.LOC=SOURCE.LOC
    WHEN NOT MATCHED THEN
    INSERT (TARGET.DEPTNO, TARGET.DNAME, TARGET.LOC) VALUES(SOURCE.DEPTNO, SOURCE.DNAME,SOURCE.LOC);
    END;
It is a simple DEPT table which as 3 columns(DEPTNo, DNAME, LOC)
But it always throws me an error like
    Sequence Action DEPTNO DNAME LOC
    1 FAILED 52 EMPLOYEE MUMBAI
    2 FAILED 61 TEST TEST
What is that i am doing wrong here. I have tried this before and it used to work earlier. But unfortunately it is not working now.

  • BW master data upload error..

    Hi all.
Currently, Master data "OCOORDER attribute" was scheduled every morning.
However, this data hasn't been succeeded for two months.
After this data is running about 10 hours, I am receiving the following error message:
    1. The attributes for characteristic 0COORDER are locked by a change run.
    2. Error 1 in the update.
    3. Lock NOT set for: Loading master data attributes.
We are using SAP BW 3.0.
In the monitor for Change Run program "RSDDS_CHANGERUN_MONITOR", even though this data wasn't successfully loaded,
    it is showing following screen:
    "Characteristics to be activated"
Did anyone of you have this problem before?

    hi,
yes realignment run must have been executed after master data loading. you are right, realignment and master data can't be processed in the same time.
0COORDER master data should not take 8 hours, it's too long, normaly master data should be in mins.
if you are in bw 3.x, you may try to use process chain,
here you can arrange realignment after all master data finished upload.

    hope this helps.

  • Data upload error in LSMW

    Hi All,
I am uploading the data for 0169 (Savings Plans infotype). When i am trying to upload the data via LSMW , i am getting the error as " Beneficiary 1/01 not allowed" but for the same employee if i directly enter the details via PA30,i can able to enter the beneficiary details . Can you provide me the solution for making it upload in the data by means of LSMW.
    Thanks
    Yogesh

    Hi
It seems that there is a problem in your file structure. Make sure the fields are in the right place with the right delimiters. Which method in LSMW you are using to upload? Is it through BAPI, IDOCs, Recordings?
    Reward Points, if helpful.

  • Master data uploading error

We have prepared material master data file in the standard template which was provided by our Implementaion parter. Uploading is done through BDC , written by our partner.
The master data was uploaded , but when we compare the Uploaded data with the actual data file ( given in excel format) then we found out of 800 ( approx) records , 300 records were uploaded with wrong data in one particular column and rest of the column is correct.
For example : In data file values are as under
    Ist Record
    Column name   Value
    Material code  MCAPTX2345
    Description     Capcitor
    UOM              NO
    old code         mc3345tyx
    rate                2,74
    Uploaded data :
    Material code  MCAPTX2345
    Description     Capcitor
    UOM              NO
    old code         mc3345tyx
    rate                2,74
    this is OK.
    IInd record:
    Column name   Value
    Material code RICMTX2345
    Description     Resistor smd
    UOM              NO
    old code         rt*345tyx
    rate                10,34
    Uploaded data :
    Material code RICMTX2345
    Description      Resistor smd
    UOM              NO
    old code         rt*345tyx
    rate                34,50
In scond record there is an error.
May you please help us to know that how the values are changed while uploading.
And what will be the best possible method to correct the wrong data of a particular column.
Will it be possible to write a BDC to modify the data of a particular column in the material master. As the information is correct.
    thanks

  • Flat file data upload error

    Hello,
I am trying to load a flat file into a datasource. When I execute the infopackage, i am getting a lot of errors for diff fields in the datasource like this:
Error 'An exception with the type CX_SY_CONVERSION_NO_NUM' at conversion exit RSDS_CONVERT_NUMBER (field DATE_OF_BIRTH record 1, value 12/)
What does this mean and what do I have to do to load the data properly into the PSA?
    Thanks.

    Hi,
This may be due to following,
    1. I guess you are using some Date data in your file. First check whether in your Datasource u have defined that field with correct data type( either Calday, calmonth...).
    2. If you have declared correctly, check whther you are giving the data for Date in your file in correct format: Ex: 012007, 022008....
    3. Check the sequence of the fields in your file and datasource, whether its correct or not.

what will the error in calltransaction program in dat upload, when that flat file field are not match with the ,internel table fields. what are the common errors occured errors while data uploading by using  calltransaction methodfor a transaction.

if you declare internal table as like quantity field then you will get short dump so you have declare internal table field as like char type.
and if you mentioned wrong field name with respect screen field then you get valid error message state that
field name is not input field.
    Thanks

    Chandran,
You can use wwv_flow_utilities.array_element to avoid no_data_found error. The function does not raise errors. So, for the line which only have one array value when you expect 2, it may be useful.
EXECUTE IMMEDIATE 'insert into table_name@Schema1 (col1,col2)
        values (:1,:2)'
        USING
          wwv_flow_utilities.array_element(v_data_array,1),
          wwv_flow_utilities.array_element(v_data_array,2);Regards,
    Christina

  • What are the general errors will come in data uploading

    Hi Friends,
What are the general errors will come in data uploading
    Thanks in Advance

    Paul
It all depends on how we configure the system. Errors may be different for different scenerios like
User ALEROMOTE Loacked for master data's
Data Sourcs has to be replicated
    Activation Failures
Error occures in data Selection Etc.
Do you have any specific error so that we can work on that.
    Thanks
