Database memory dump (please help!!!!!).

Hello people,
I have a big problem with one of the database of my company, it seems that is a memory fail when try to allocate space or something, i search the Metalink looking for a solution but, I really don´t know what is the real problem of this memory dump, in the alert log that post down shows error in the TRC file, but there only shows the dump memory not the cause of this, we have big datafiles with a lot of data, I dont know if this is because the DBF files contain too much data or what..... the ORA-07445 seems that is a very generic error, and I dont have any tips to search the original error.
Can be this error because the server don´t have big resources?, the configuration of the server are:
XEON 1 core 4 cpu´s
4gb ram
1TB hard disk
Windows 2003 standard edition
Oracle 10g 10.2.0.1 standard edition.
All in 32bits, ¿do you recommend migrating to 64bits for the 2gb memory limit of users in W2003?
¿The big datafiles and big tablespaces can be an issue for this memory dump? ¿Oracle 11g manages better big files that Oracle10g?
Please if your need any more info of configuration or something, please tellme.

I have tracked the SQL that hangs up the database but is a SQL that works always not only once, but there is something that when the database is with too many resources this crash the DB and not always is the same SQL. I have searched any tip or solution on the metalink but nothing is like this error.
I don´t know if anyone can help me with this... I have open an request via Metalink but i dont know if going to be any solution to this error.

I don't have anything called sequence so i don't know why I have this error. The steps described in the page you sent to me were followed and the connection is good.
Do you know if there's any way to know the SQL query executed or the jdbc classes used by the database adapter?

VL10 Short Dump - Please Help

I have a shortdump in VL10, when selecting an order and push the button "Hierarchical Display". I tried to see in debugger but I couldn't figure it out.
Error in the ABAP Application Program
The current ABAP program "SAPLKKBL" had to be terminated because it has
come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.
An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.
The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_DYN_TABLE_ILL_COMP_VAL',

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

Yes, I have solved the problem.
In VL10, if you go on User Role Tab, there is a field: "Header-item assgnmnt".
Depending on the Role selected: this field can have certain values. If wrong values -> here comes the dump.
For example I had:
User Role: Z503
and for this role that field shouldn't have had the following values: 2 or 6
It could have the values : 1, 3, 7.
So, it is a functional job not a programmer's job, but you can test VL10 by changing this field with other values, and you will se it works.
I'm sure that you know already that VL10 have 4 views for output:
1. Sales Orders (order level)
2. Sales Orders (item/schedule line level)
3. Purchase Orders (order level)
4. Purchase Orders (item/schedule line level)
So it's a common sense not to set "Header-item assgnmnt" with value 2 - source document item, when you output Orders at order level.

Hi there. I recently ran out of memory on my 8gb ipod touch. So i deleted all of my apps and pictures but it still says i have no memory. So i bought 15gb more storage with icloud. So in total i have 15gb of storage and it still says i have no memory. Could there be something wrong with my settings?

In actualility, most users really can't put much in iCloud that is also not on your iPod.
You can't place non-iTunes purchases music in iCloud. However, almost your iTunes purchases are in iCloud and you can redownload them by:

I am trying to install Oracle personal edition for 98 on ME, The Database Config Assistant fails to install? Also when I start the database it asks for password which i never had an option to set. I tried "scott" "tiger" "sysadmin"........ nothing works.

First, the installations forum is probably more appropriate for this sort of question. The folks over there have hit this problem before.
Second, Oracle doesn't support the installation of its products on Windows ME. This may well be something that doesn't work on this operating system.

Hey guys, Ive got an ipad 3 (16gb) and I had a look on my memory i have a few games and apps (GarageBand, keynote, imovie, pages, monoply, game of life and a few others) and it said 12.2 gb used and 1.2gb available i think that's counted wrong and I know approx 1000mb is 1gb it's impossible what do I do to get it accurate, even my brain holds more memory than that! Please help ASAP also I've tried restarting it
Here is a list of apps:

And 52 apps are 150mb and under
I know that I had the same number of apps yesterday and the memory was 8.2gb I want it to be accurate.

Centipedee, No memory problem, you don't have enough room. It can take at least 2 times the required memory to load an app to the iPod. Once it loads it only requires 1.8GB of memory space but to get it there you'll need at least (maybe more) 3.6GB of space, I know it sounds screwy but it's how it works. Hope this helps, Good luck.

New system drive and memory setup - please help!

Please excuse these newbie questions. I DO understand that these issues have been discussed ad nauseam in this forum. But I have spent probably ten or twelve hours exploring the various threads, and partly owing to my ignorance, partly to the specifics of my situation, partly to the disagreements between various posters, and partly to my concern that some of the clearer statements on e.g. SSD’s may have been outdated by the progression of technology, I would greatly appreciate it if I could get some recommendations for my specific situation.
I am going to purchase an HP Z820 sometime in the near future. I do NOT want to build my own machine; I have just enough technical knowledge to be dangerous, as they say, and want one-stop shopping for technical support if my machine develops problems.
While I will use this machine for a variety of applications, my main concern is to optimize it for Premiere Pro. Based on Harm Millaard’s (who to my untutored eye seems to be one of the most prolific, knowledgeable, and helpful individuals in this forum) “Guidelines for Disc Usage” of two years ago, I plan to install a 300GB SSD for my boot drive, and to construct a RAID 5 array out of the remaining drives. (The Z820 does not support RAID 3.) The array drives will be either five (5) more 300GB SSD’s, or four (4) 600GB 15,000 RPM SAS HDD’s.
Assume for the sake of argument that cost is not a factor, and that the 1.2TB storage offered by the 5 SSD drives in RAID 5 (vs. the 1.8TB offered by the 4 SAS drives) is perfectly adequate, which would you choose? And why?
I should add that I am a video hobbyist, not a professional, so the outfit will receive a lot less pounding than a professional’s machine. Thus, I don’t THINK that the theoretically more limited life span of the SSD’s should be an issue, over, say, the next 3-4 years. (Correct me if that SHOULD be a concern.)
Re memory, I am planning on 32GB of unbuffered memory, the maximum the system will support. I COULD get 64MB, but it would have to be registered RAM, which I understand slows things down. The slight improvement in reliability with registered RAM is not really a concern from my hobbyist standpoint; and I think 32GB should be adequate. I use 1080/60p footage, which of course is demanding, but don’t use a lot of special effects, or other Adobe applications for input to Premiere (aside from Photoshop, occasionally). Anyone disagree with this choice?
Finally, is there a role for a RAMdisk in this outfit, for e.g. cache files? Would this increase the speed, or decrease the using up of write cycles on the SSD’s to a degree that would be significant for practical purposes? If so, how much RAM would you dedicate to the RAMdisk?

The 300GB SSD - is that an HP model? If so please reconsider: it's an older Intel SSD X25-M series that is slow, and runs at SATA 3G speeds (not 6G), which doesn't do the Z820 justice. Intel 520 series has been tested (by yours truly among others) and can be used in the Z820.
The array drives will be either five (5) more 300GB SSD’s, or four (4) 600GB 15,000 RPM SAS HDD’s.
As Harm will probably tell you: unless you also run a database server on that system, there is no advantage to 10K, 15Krpm or even SSD drives for video purposes, with the exception of possible reliability (enterprise class 10-15K drives and SSDs are tested much more extensively than desktop and nearline drives) and throughput in case of SSDs if, for instance, your workflow demands extreme bandwidth (e.g. recording of uncompressed 4K 12-bit RGB signal).
Assume for the sake of argument that cost is not a factor, and that the 1.2TB storage offered by the 5 SSD drives in RAID 5 (vs. the 1.8TB offered by the 4 SAS drives) is perfectly adequate, which would you choose? And why?
Hypothetically, I'd choose SSDs: higher reliability, responsiveness, performance, lower power consumption. I'd do research though to ensure they'd keep up with a lot of write I/Os thrown at them.
In reality, I'd choose neither, for reasons I mentioned above. 7200rpm nearline drives have sufficient performance for the purpose, and the capacity is much higher per dollar.
I COULD get 64MB, but it would have to be registered RAM, which I understand slows things down.
Not necessarily. The 2% difference between ECC and non-ECC memory (negligible as it is) is not at play here because Z820 does not support non-ECC memory. Registered or not, it has to be ECC, and registered memory is not necessarily slower than unbuffered. Even if it was, the 2% difference is unlikely to make any perceptable dent in performance given that no editing system runs its memory at 100% bandwidth at all times. Then again, if cost is not a factor, you could always swap unbuffered for registered later on.
Finally, is there a role for a RAMdisk in this outfit, for e.g. cache files? Would this increase the speed, or decrease the using up of write cycles on the SSD’s to a degree that would be significant for practical purposes? If so, how much RAM would you dedicate to the RAMdisk?
For timelines with limited number of effects, I wouldn't bother, with the premise that Premiere Pro has decent memory management on its own, and that memory will serve better if just given to Premiere Pro.
If on the other hand you do start using AE heavily, you might want to dedicate a (portion of your) SSD to "global performance cache" which is a fantastic time-saving feature of AE CS6.

Update is not reflecting in destination database using streams please help

We have two database (oracle9) DB1(src) and db2(dest) in windows 2000(prof) platform
1. The insert,Delete are working fine, when ever changes are made to the source it gets reflected in destination, but in case of update statement.only the source gets updated but not the destination.
Any suggestions..pls help?

On the other hand, out from the context I guessed it is a 10gRx database, but you should specify this on your thread, as well as specify os details.
