Date in LOV parameters

Question

Hi,
I am trying to pass date in parameter field, where if I select the first menu drop down list from my LOV, it gives me values for that LOV in another LOV. But when I select another one which is date format, it does return main query back with data. Please help me out since I dont know what to do now. When I pass :dstarted with hardcoded date in sql prompt, it works but doesnt work in data model for some reason. Please help me. Here are my configured details -

Parameters
dname : identifier - dname, Data type - String , Parameter type - Menu, LOV-ScheduleName, can select all, refresh other parameters on change
dstarted :identifier - dstarted, Data type - String , Parameter type - Menu, LOV-ScheduleDate

Thanks.I tried that. It didn't work.
The page isn't refreshing after entering the dates
