Date number to a date

Hi,
I have a field that is type number but it holds a date in reality (the number of seconds since 1970, i think). How can I compare it with SYSDATE (like so):
select event_uuid from nnm_event_detail where event_timestamp < SYSDATE – 35;
DB Version is Oracle 8i
Any help is greatly appreciated. I am struggling with this query for a long time. No where could I find any help.

Date Number Suffixes

Hi
I'm not sure if this is a problem with Pages or Mac OS X date formatting in general.
I'm used to expressing dates in the format 1st March 2006 or 2nd March 2006 or 3rd March 2006 or 4th March 2006. The st, nd, rd or th suffixes are usually superscript i.e. in a smaller font that appears slightly above and to the right of the ordinal number. (I don't even know how to type superscipts into this post.)
1. Is there a way to make Pages automatically format dates in this way? In fact can you make MacOSX do it in general?
2. How do you type superscripts?
[Edit, I've just typed superscript into the help viewer and I know how to do that now. My first question remains as one can't seem to edit the date inserted by Insert> Date and Time...]

They're not dumb questions, although the superscript one you'll find in Format / Font / Baseline, which will also show you the shortcuts.
As to the date format question: simply, what you want is not provided for. I suggest you track your question for a while yet, to see if any of the heavyweight boffins can tell you a workaround, or whether there's a download item for it - but short of an applescript or automator action, which I personally find too troublesome to wrestle with, it won't be all that easy. Reason being, the date insert has to be automated to program the insertion you want differently for the various numerals. Its a programming issue at root. Neither can you edit the date format inserted from the options under Insert / Date and Time... Once inserted it's a single item; not editable text.
So if you get no answers (and I'll be looking myself - any that works would be brilliant!) - use the "Provide Pages Feedback" facility under the Pages main menu to request that Apple incorporate this feature in a future update. Emphasise that you write in UK English. The Yanks just aren't aware of these traditions. But for you they would be standard. It's a reasonable user request.
What you're really after is ordinals, and they should be on the system. There are in fact Apache resources available for it (try "ordinal" in Spotlight) so this can, in principle, be done - but it's hardly straightforward user access.

Adding Number to a Date

Hi All,
I want to add a number to a date and the resultant should be a date. I am using the code given below for this purpose, but i am getting exception at compile time.
SimpleDateFormat formatter = new SimpleDateFormat("dd'/'mm'/'yyyy");
java.util.Date wp = formatter.parse(WarDt);
Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
cal.setTime(wp);
cal.add(Calendar.DATE ,30);
java.util.Date ed = cal.getTime();
String WarPeriod = formatter.format(ed);
Can anybody help me in solving the problem.

Forward to gmail/hotmail Event ID 3030 552 5.7.0 Number of Received: DATA headers exceeds maximum permitted

A user wants me to forward his Exchange 2003 recipient’s email to his Gmail account.
In Active Directory Users and Computers I created a Contact and then in the recipient “Delivery Options” Forward to: I put that contact.
He receives all the forwards of email created internally at Gmail, but only some email that comes from external domains make it to Gmail.
Most (but not all) external email when forwarded to his Gmail account, by Exchange 2003, creates an NDR (non-delivery report) saying “DATA headers exceeds maximum permitted” (shown below). I’m pretty sure this message is generated by Exchange 2003 because it
is the same if the external, forwarded to, account is Gmail or Hotmail.
Any ideas how to solve this?

Based on the error Number of 'Received:' DATA headers exceeds maximum permitted. This message header size could exceeds message header size limits.
Message header size limits These limits apply to the total size of all message header fields that are present in a message. The size of the message body or attachments isn’t considered. Because the header fields
are plain text, the size of the header is determined by the number of characters in each header field and by the total number of header fields. Each character of text consumes 1 byte.
So, please check the message header size limits setting on receive connector by the following cmdlet:
Get-ReceiveConnector “Connector name” | FL MaxHeaderSize
Then check the problematic message header and compare them to check this issue. If these message header exceeds the message header size limit, we can use the following cmdlet to change the maximum header size:
Set-ReceiveConnector “Connector Name” –MaxHeaderSize “value”
The MaxHeaderSize parameter specifies in bytes the maximum size of the SMTP message header that the Receive connector accepts before it closes the connection. The default value is 65536 bytes. When you enter a value, qualify the value with one of
the following units:
B (bytes)
KB (kilobytes)
MB (megabytes)
GB (gigabytes)
Unqualified values are treated as bytes. The valid input range for this parameter is from 1 through 2147483647 bytes.
Note: Some third-party firewalls or proxy servers apply their own message header size limits. These third-party firewalls or proxy servers may have difficulty processing messages that contain attachment file names that are greater than 50 characters
or attachment file names that contain non-US-ASCII characters.

That is a carrier assigned number in Cellular capable iPads and cannot be changed unless your Cell carrier does it.
It you want to change the Cell number for messages, the Cell number is one that is associated with an iPhone using the same Apple ID as your Mini. You would need to change the number associated with the Apple ID for that to happen.

Gaps in vendor master data number range

Hi, we have noticed there are sometimes gaps (missing numbers) in the internally issued vendor master data number range. Does anybody have any idea why this happens and how to avoid this?

Hi Lucie,
This happens due to buffering of the number range in question. You can go to SNRO transaction (object KREDITOR) and change the buffering options (deactivate them, actually). Please, consult your ABAP team before doing this. For more info, see note 62077.

Incorrect version number and installation date of Firefox after upgrading

My home desktop PC equipped with Mozilla Firefox v4.0 has recently been upgraded to v4.0.1 through an automatic updating. However, as noted from Windows 7 "Programs and Features", the latest version number and its installation date are not correctly shown. The required details refer to the previous v4.0.
I look forward to having your technical advice as soon as possible.

Thank you for your prompt response.
It seems to me that an automatic update of Firefox from v4.0 to v4.0.1 is not detected by Windows 7 > Programs and Features. Firefox > Show Update History and > About show the latest version number with the correct date of installation.
At last, I re-installed Firefox into the existing version. I am pleased to inform you that Windows 7 shows the correct version number and installation date of Firefox as well as Revo Uninstaller.
Perhaps, Firefox team would be kind enough to look into the matter. The problem did not happen in the past automatic updates.

ODS - Number of Active Data Records count?

I am having a ODS. In manage screen of ODS, i can able to see the records as shown bellow:
Transferred records: 352053
Added Records: 1836
But the number of entries in Active Data of ODS is only 471 records.
My question here is that why Added records (1836) are not equal to number of Active data records (471)? Where i am missing or is it correct?

Have you completed the Activation of ODS data after uploading? If no see the entries in NEW records' table of ODS.
If you have activated already,still there is a chance to have different count, because of no of records with same value of KEY fields but exist in different packets.
