Date problem in matrix

Question

Dear all,
I have 2 column in my matrix like Colum1(From Date),Column2(To Date).
First Column (First Row-From Date)I am Entering the value(01-01-2010). Afetr that again
First Column(Second Row-From Date)Iam Entering the value(01-02-2010).Now i want to calculate second Row Date before that  date  like 31-01-2010.That date i want fill in Second Colun(First Row-Todate ).
