Date Range for One Week

Hai All,
Is there any possibilities to define a value set that can define date from and to between a week (say monday to saturday) ?
I have a defined a valueset to select all the date which is on Monday. My plan is to add 7 days to the selected date using the flex option to another value set.
But I am not able to accomplish it. I am geting the following error.ORA-01861 : Literal does not format string. is this correct or else is there any other option that i can use..

How to keep the field value in the forms for one week

I have an application that when the user logs on to it , it shows all the documents that are in the current dept.
the form has the following fields:
document no
sent date
assigned to
dep_LOV
and a check box
if a user clicks the check box and assignes the document to another dept by cliking the LOv then the assigned to field should be populated with the new value and the sent date should be today's date(sysdate). the requirment is that once the user assignes the documnet to certain depts (for example sales dept) the assigned to field and the sent date should show up in the form for one week and the user should be able to see that data in the form the next time she /he logs onto the application. the one week time is to make sure the documcnt has reached the assigned dept. after one week from today's date the updated assigned_to field and the document no should not display on the form. During the one week if the user logs on to the form again that particular document and the assigned to and sent to fields shoould be grayed out and shhould not be updatable. I will greatly appreciate any suggetion as of what to do to solve this problem. it is urgent. Pleade help

The way to set your default where clause would be the following, and you should do it in the key-exeqry trigger, or someplace similar:

I used the NVL function so your select will show rows where sent_date is null OR sent_date has a value that is within 7 days prior to the current date.
What is the field :docs.assigned_to used for? If you want to include ONLY rows that are assigned to a particular person, then your where clause might be:

and you should have a control block with the assigned_to field in it, where the user can enter a value before querying the DOCS block.

Date range for key date in hierarchy

Dear Friends,
Is there a work around for single key date restriction for time dependent hierarchy.Bcos i can only select one key date in teh report for my hierarchy so that it will take that hierarchy which falls in this date and display the result accordingly.
But is there a way to select the date range for key date so that more than one hierarchy can be used to display my report accrding to the time range.
Say,i have 4 hierarchies (time dependent) like v1,v2,v3,v4 and v5 for jan 08,feb 08,mar 08,apr 08 & may 08 respectively.
In my report,i want to display the result for the time interval say mar to May.
So my report should diplay the result according to the 3 different hierarchies for the time period i.e.v3,v4&v5.
How do i acheive this.

I think we may do with the Char with text with replecement path.
take time char as Calmonth and set the offet value as -1 and -2 and design the report and use the hierarchies in that query.
Am not surt it willwork but better to try with this.

EasyDMS - search by date range for characteristics of type date

Hi Folks,
I have a characteristic of type date in the additional data of a DMS document. If I enter the date (for example validity date) as 08/31/2009 and search using cv04n and give a date range for the characteristic (i.e. 01/01/2009 - 12/31/2009), the search result will bring up the document.
However, I cannot do this from the EasyDMS find function. I need to specify an exact date. This is not very helpful for user who need to find documents with a validity date between 01/01/2009 - 12/31/2009 for example. Is there a way users can search for date range in EasyDMS find function?

To search a date range with EasyDMS Client you have to set the registry key
\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SAP\EasyDms\Generel\DateSearchPick to Value 0
Then you can use the input field like in SAP-Gui. (01.01.2009-31.01.2009)
If you set the value to 1 or the key is not defined you can only search for one specified date.
If you don't find this key on your PC create it as dword.
Maybe you must restart you PC for takeing effect.

Ive been trying to get readable output from HR system.
I have added the source data into Data Model, since i had to read the data with power query. Now i have pivot table like this:

Is there any possible way to get some kind of find function to sort and combine the data like this:

One way to do this is with a VBA macro. The following should get you started.
As you can see looking at the macro, the original data is assumed to be on a worksheet named HRData and starts in A1.
The results are placed on the same worksheet but starting at cell G1. You could easily write the results to another worksheet.
The original data is copied to a temporary worksheet for sorting (and the temporary sheet is subsequently deleted).
A Class Module is added so we can use a User Defined Object which has the properties of the user name, start date and end date of the vacation period.
We then cycle through the sorted data, and create a Sickleave object and add it to a collection. If the "previous" row has the same user, and the date is one more than the previous End Date, we add one to the previous end date; if not, we
create a new object and start another sickleave period.

How to set a date range for date field ?

Scenario:
I have a query in validating the date field in my BSP application. My application is for maintain infotype 0023 Other/Previous Employers online by employees in the company.
As per our design we are maintaining the all employment details of the employee both ( with in the current company / previous employment outside the company) in the same infotype.
Every employee will have a hiring date within the SAP HR system. We consider this date as the cutoff date between current and previous employment in our application. When the employee updating the details wia BSP page I need to check the following.
Record inside current company: Validation that, the user should only able to enter BEGIN DATE (BEGDA) greater than or equal HIRING DATE and END DATE(ENDDA) should be greater than FROM DATE (BEGDA).
Record outside current Company: Validation that, the user should only able to enter BEGIN DATE (BEGDA) less than or equal HIRING DATE and END DATE (ENDDA) should be greater than FROM DATE (BEGDA) and less than HIRING DATE.
Technical Requirement:
How to set a date range for date field, i.e. how we can limit the date range in a HTMLB date field? Can this it be achieved via standard functionality of HTMLB?

How can I set a date range for a Date/Time Field in LiveCycle ES2?

I need to set a specific date range for a form set up in LiveCycle ES2. Cannot see where i allows me to do that without a code entered.

You can't set a start and end date for the date/time field, the best you can do is validate the range after the user has selected it.

Yes, you can.
On you home computer, download and install the application from creative.adobe.com website.
On launch, it will prompt that it is already activated to 2 machines. Select the option to deactivate from already activated machines and use it on home computer.
After a week, use the same workflow to get the application working on laptop.

Mostly I work with ac power. Only sometimes I need the battery.
But when I use the battery, discharge it fully.
After that the battery is charged over night.
When my S3 is off for one week,
my battery is fully discharged and the S3 needs ac power.
Is that normal?

The fact is that battery looses the energy also if the notebook is disabled.
Im not sure about the time and how long should it takes.

How to keep logs for one week through sm36 jobs creation

As i define a job through sm36. Its logs removed next day , but its logs removed through sm37 through next days. But some of the job logs does not removed for even one week. can somebody be help me to sort it out . I want to keep job logs for one week then where i have to define it. If some job is defined which remove all these logs then where we have to define that these logs will remain for one week , because some of the job logs will remain there for one week.

please check the variants of the report used in the job SAP_REORG_JOBS. With the report RSBTCDEL2 you can specify very detailed how long logs should be kept for which jobs (e.g. depending on the job name or job class).

just use the RSPC-maintenance screen and look for "deletion of requests from PSA" or something like that.
Add it in the Processchain, run it...c'est tout.

You can either change the current filesize of current files in your database or add new file(s) whose current size is 2TB by using the ALTER DATABASE command. If you don't have instant file initialization, adding 2TB to data files can take a long time.
If you are adding 2TB to log files that can take a long time whether you have instant file initialization or not. For info on instant file initialization see

Getting Blue Screen --I've Only Had the HP Mini 311 for One Week

Do you have an HP Mini 311? I have had my HP Netbook for one week and I keep receiving the blue screen. I installed Adobe Lightroom yesterday and I received it after the install.
Is this common with HP Mini 311s?
Is it worth returning to Verizon or can I get it fixed by contacting HP support?

Try removing your sim and insert it again and make sure that its clean as well as the sim tray. insert it securely locked in place. See if it works, quick fix.
