Datepicker with time in collection report

hi,
i have created a report through collection .Now I want a APEX_ITEM.DATE_POPUP with time in report.
For That i have done some changes in my report, when i have change APEX_ITEM.TEXT into APEX_ITEM.DATE_POPUP ,then there is an error has occure and when i have run it.
Error :-ORA-01858: a non-numeric character was found where a numeric was expected.
my code is
select HTMLDB_ITEM.HIDDEN(1,SEQ_ID),
APEX_ITEM.TEXT(2,a.c001) c001,
APEX_ITEM.DATE_POPUP(3,a.c002,'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI') c002,
APEX_ITEM.TEXT(4,a.c003) c003
FROM APEX_COLLECTIONS a
where a.collection_name = 'REC_ITEM'
I have change here also .
begin
for i in 1.. HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01.count loop
htmldb_collection.UPDATE_MEMBER (
p_collection_name=> 'REC_ITEM',
p_seq => HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F01(i),
p_c001 => HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F02(i),
p_c002 => to_date(HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F03(i),'DD/MM/YYYY HH24:MI'),
p_c003 => HTMLDB_APPLICATION.G_F04(i)
end loop;
htmldb_collection.add_member
(p_collection_name => 'REC_ITEM',
p_c001 =>NULL,
p_c002 => NULL,
p_c003 => NULL,
end;
In report datepicker item has created, it's not a datepicker with time ,that show only date, not a date with time.
Thanks
manoj

Manoj I have done some workaround, you can read here: date picker error in collection report

  • Datepicker with time popup

    Is there any way to modifiy the date picker/calendar popup (with time) to allow for different time intervals? I've gotten a request to show the minutes in 15 minute intervals rather than 1 minute intervals.
    Since this is generated out of the wwv_flow_utilities package I suspect the answer is a big fat 'no', but I had to ask. Perhaps a nice little enhancement for a future version? Thanks.

    Hi Earl,
    You could ofcourse write your own date-time picker.
    Another solution would be to have a date picker only for the date and build your own time dropdown lists (so instead of 1 field with date-time picker; you would have 3 fields: 1 date picker + 2 dropdown lists)

    Anyone have the problem I'm having with the Safari collecting cookies even when I'm not on a website?  I cleaned everything out and checked several times.  Each time cookies were added that I've never seen with my older version of Safari.  I have the block third parties and advertisers but I don't think it works.  Here's a sample of what is popping up:  247realmedia.com, 2mdn.net addthis.com, admeld.com, adsafeprotected.com, adsonar.com, bit.ly, bluekai.com, bluelithium.com, bluetoad.com bondware.com.......... over 100 things without a clue where they are coming from.  Especially since I'm not on any webpage!  How do I report a bug?  Is there a way to fix this?

    Firefox + NoScript, BetterPrivacy, Ghostery, AdBlock Plus, Click&Clean helps.

    The application server is rebooted once every week. Typically the application runs without any a bigger (> 2 sec) delay
    when the old generation is collected. However, sometimes (after days) we experience extensive GC times when collecting
    the old generation:
    Typically the major portion of the delay is found in the

    Thanks for the reply. The tuning guide does not detail the different phases
    when collecting the old generation, but it has some information regarding fragmentation:
    "Turning on the throughput collector should just make the minor collection
    pauses shorter. Because there are multiple garbage collector threads
    participating in the minor collection there is a *small possibility of fragmentation*
    due to promotions from the young generation to the tenured generation
    during the collection. Each garbage collection thread reserves
    *a part of the tenured generation for promotions* and the division of the
    available space into these "promotion buffers" can cause a fragmentation effect."
    Are increased "post compacting" times are a clear indication for fragmentation
    of the tenured generation?

    If you saved it at least once, then time machine should have a copy of the document at the state you last saved it.  I'm guessing tha's not the case however or the copy of the file would still be on your Desktop.
    If you never saved it a single time, yet closed the window and dismissed the warnings about an unsaved document, then you are out of luck as far as I know.

    Hello Chinasammy,
    Report Painter allows you to create reports using data from SAP application components, which you can adapt to meet your individual requirements.
    Many of your reporting requirements can already be met by using the standard reports provided by various SAP application components. If these SAP standard reports do not meet your reporting needs, Report Painter enables you to define your specific reports quickly and easily.
    When executing a Report Painter report, it is displayed by the system in Report Writer format. You thus have access to the same functions as for Report Writer reports defined in the same way, and can combine Report Painter and Report Writer reports together in a report group.
    Report Painter uses a graphical report structure, which forms the basis for your report definition and displays the rows and columns as they appear in the final report output.
    To facilitate report definition, you can use many of the standard reporting objects provided by SAP (such as libraries, row/column models, and standard layouts) in your own specific reports. When you define a Report Painter report you can use groups (sets). You can also enter characteristic values directly.
    Advantages of Report Painter include:
    Flexible and simple report definition
    Report definition without using sets
    Direct layout control: The rows and columns are displayed in the report definition as they appear in the final report output, making test runs unnecessary.
    =============================================
    Below mentioned is the process for creating reports using Report Painter as a tool.
    Selecting and maintaining a library for your report: As the transfer structure to Report Painter you use a report table, which is defaulted by SAP and can not be maintained. This table contains characteristics, key figures and predefined columns. In a library, you collect the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns from the report table, which you need for your Report Painter reports.
    When you define a Report Painter report, you assign it to a library. Reports assigned to one library can only use the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns selected for that library.
    When you create or maintain a library, the Position field determines the sequence in which the characteristics, key figures or (predefined) key figures appear in the Report Painter selection lists when you define a report. This allows you to position the objects that you use regularly in your reports at the beginning of the selection lists. If you do not make an entry in the Position field, you will not be able to use this object in Report Painter reports.
    You can use either the standard SAP libraries for your reports or define your own.
    (ii) Selecting or maintaining a standard layout for your report: Standard layouts determine report layout features and the format of your report data.If the SAP standard layouts do not meet your reporting requirements, you can create a new  standard layout or change an existing one.
    (iii) Defining row and column models: A model is a one-dimensional, predefined reporting structure that you can insert in either the rows or columns of your report.If you often use the same or similar row or column definitions in your reports, it is recommended that you create row or column models.
    You must define the row and/or column models that you want to include in your report definition before you define the report.
    You can also use the standard column models supplied by SAP.
    (iv) Defining the report: Defining a Report Painter report involves the following steps.
    (a) Define the report columns: You define the report columns using the characteristics, key figures, and predefined columns selected for the library that the report uses. Alternatively, you can use a column model for column definition. Column models are predefined column structures which you insert into your entire column definition, instead of defining each individual column.
    (b) Define the report rows: You define the report rows using the characteristics selected for the library selected for the report.
    Alternatively, you can use a row model for your row definition. Row models serve the same purpose as column models, but are used to define a report row.
    Edit and format the report rows and columns in line with your requirements. (For example, you can hide rows or columns, define the column width or define colors for your report rows).
    (iii)Define general data selection criteria for the selection of your report data: Selection criteria are the characteristics used to select data for the entire report. You cannot enter characteristics as data selection criteria if they are already being used in the report rows or columns.
    (iv) Assigning the report to a report group: Once you have defined a report, you must assign it to a report group. A report group can contain one or more reports from the same library. However, reports that share the same data will select data more quickly and improve processing time.
    Hopw this helps you. Please let me know if you need anything more and assign points.

  • How to load one report page at a time for heavy reports of over 100 pages.

    Three banks merged together and now my reports have to pull massive combined data of all 3 banks. Even after tuning the queries, applying indexs, its taking long to load. A normal report now has over 100 pages.
    Do you know if I can just load 1 page at a time and show it to user so the user donot have to wait for all 100 or more pages to load before they can see the whole report...? Kind of spooling...or something.
    Thank you.

    I am not aware of a simple solution to set the file name. You need to set the content-disposition, but I don't think this is possible with any of the report parameters. A workaround is to save to save the report as a pdf file (destype=file&desname=myreport.pdf), and then open it in the browser after the report is finished.
    About the timeout: this can be set in the repserver conf file (engineResponseTimeOut) or override it in the url with parameter ENGINERESPONSETIMEOUT. It's all in the documentation, so always start your search there!

  • 0CS_Item with time-dependent hierarchy

    Dear Experts,
    we are discussing pros and cons for a time-dependent item catalog (characteristic 0CS_item with time dependent hierarchy in BW) within consolidation SEM BCS 4.0. Does anybody has experiences on this topic?
    I am quite sure it will be a performance issue and it means additional reporting effort (e.g. using reference period/year in the report comparing different hierarchies).
    I am not sure if there are any other risks so I it would be great if anybody has some hints.
    Thanks in advance,
    Birgit Laux

    Birgit,
    Some other things to consider:
    - frequency of changes to item hierarchy. Could lead to a lot of item hierarchies in BW over time.
    - hierarchy validity date does not seem to be displayed when running web queries and thus makes it difficult for the user to select the correct hierarchy when executing the query. Still looking for a fix for this.
    - greater complexity in overall design. Is it really necessary to achieve correct financial statement presentation?
    Virtual cube performance is not great but you could implement the data mart which provides typical BW query performance.
    I stayed away from setting the item as time dependent for these reasons.

  • I created a form with Single Choice fields, 4 days with times listed. But, I want the user to only be able to choose one time, and the time chosen to be unavailable for other users. How do I do this?

    I created a form with Single Choice fields, 4 days with times listed. But, I want the user to only be able to choose one time, and the time chosen to be unavailable for other users. How do I do this? I have 4 blocks of Single Choice fields in order for the summary page to give me each day in the final report. But, I need the user to be able to make a selection of any day and time and that apointment to no longer be available to future users when they log in. Plus, when the user clicks on the time, they are unable to change their mind and choose another time. Here's the link if you want to see what I'm talking about: 2015-2016 Workload Apportionment Review

    I'm afraid not.    It's not rocket science but you need to do some coding.
    You'll need to find a script (php) and save it to your local site folder.  Then reference the script in your form's action attribute like so.
         <form action="path/form-to-email-script.php" >
    The input fields in your HTML form need to exactly match the script variables.
    I'm  assuming you're hosted on a Linux server which uses PHP code.  Linux servers are also case sensitive, so upper case names are not the same as lower case names.  It's usually best to use all lower case names in your form and script to avoid confusion.

  • Backing up a shared drive with Time Machine

    I've searched all over the place and refuse to believe I'm the only person in this situation but I can't find a solution to my problem!
    My set up is as follows; I have an AirPort Extreme Base Station to which I've connected 3 external hard drives via a powered USB hub. I have a 320GB one for work, a 500GB one for media and a 2TB one for wireless backups.
    I have a MacBook Pro and an iMac both of which I use for work around the house. Girlfriend has a MacBook. All three backup via Time Machine to my 2TB drive perfectly and all 3 have access to my work files (plus colleagues can easily access work when they're over) and all 3(+) can access our media collection. But the problem is I want to backup my work drive as it's the thing which needs backing up most vitally.
    As I write this I'm thinking that maybe Time Machine isn't the best way but does anyone have any ideas as to a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

  • Do I need an External Hard drive to Back up with Time machine?

         I probably have all kinds of misconceptions about Resetting to an earlier time for the computer I have. It's a 2009 macbook, running OS 10.8.5. I got it last week, previous to this machine I have been running a powerbook G4. It does not have a backup with Time Machine either.
    Let me tell you a funny story,
          Back in the year 2000 I got a powerbook G4, it was tops (in my Book) and my boss paid for it. David, my boss is the owner -operator of a manufacturing business turning out soft-weapons for martial artist's I call it the Chinese Stick Fighting Factory. <Sof-Stx.com> . While going to work one fine summer day on my Harley Super Glide,( I saw in my rear-view mirror that the back pack (packing the G4) had left the Vehicle with out authorization, and was bouncing down the road in the opposite direction. Anyway to make a long story short, I developed inoperable  Colon Cancer in 2008, I had to retire for the second time in my life, this time collecting a fixed income. and when I was able to fit it in my budget (in 2012) I got a used G4 and last week I got the MacBook running Maverick.
         So… any input ?

    Answer to your question....yes, buy an external HD. You do not need an expensive one and you do not need a huge one. I run two 500 GB externals - both attached (occasionally) to my MacBook Pro.

  • How do I recover lost files off my external WD Passport hard drive with Time Machine?

    I have been backing up my Macbook Pro with Time Machine and my Western Digital Passport since May 2010. I accidentally deleted my music in February of 2011, but had backed it up with Time Machine. Now when I try to go back and recover the files in Time Machine, they are gone. Nothing is available past June 2011. How do I recover those files?

    About TM "Backup Drive is Full"
    Alert TM only deletes older files if they have been deleted from the source and when TM needs space on the backup drive for a new incremental backup. Time Machine "thins" it's backups; hourly backups over 24 hours old, except the first of the day; those "daily" backups over 30 days old, except the first of the week. The weeklies are kept as long as there's room.
    So, how long a backup file remains depends on how long it was on your Mac before being deleted, assuming you do at least one backup per day. If it was there for at least 24 hours, it will be kept for at least a month. If it was there for at least a week, it will be kept as long as there's room.
    Note, that on a Time Capsule the sparsebundle grows in size as needed, but doesn't shrink. Thus, from the user's view of the TC it appears that no space has been freed, although there may be space in the sparsebundle.
    Once TM has found it cannot free up enough space for a new backup it reports the disk is full. You can either erase the backup drive and start your backups anew or replace the drive with a larger drive.

  • With Time Machine I have an external hard drive formatted with Mac

    With Time Machine I have an external hard drive formatted with Mac. The record contained files windows. How to recover?
    Serious mistake: to connect a Mac to an external drive with data (important!) Windows, the warning appears: "You want to use the disk for Time Machine?" Wrong button, so in 2-3 seconds, the disk is formatted. Now Mac "sees" the disc but empty, Windows does not see it under "My Computer" but in "Disk Management" is reported as "hard core", "healthy", "GPT protective partition" Is there a way to retrieve the files? Sorry for my English Thanks

    I'm having a difficult time following, I understand English isn't your native language. You may have good luck with Google Translate.

  • Measure Formulae for Uploadable and Data collection report

    Hi,
    I have query related to application of measure Formula for Uploadable and Data collection report.
    Consider a scenario where i use a MDX query to create a data collection report and I map these columns from these reports to an rowsource using a loader file. Can I use measure formula feature like onchange to work with Uploadable and Data colection reports such that changes to any one column should take effect in another column.
    Regrads,
    Wesley

    Wesley,
    IOP uploadable reports are used for sending data to the server in batch. They are coupled to the IOP model via a rowsource. You have a lot of flexibility with the spreadsheet you build for staging the upload. It's really just a function of how crafty you are with vb. Cascading changes from one column to another can be easily accomplished this way.
    Onchange formulas are for something else. They are part of the model definition and are used for describing how to cascade changes between IOP data blocks.

  • Recent Collection Report

    can i get a collection report taken off by paying it off?

      On a serious note....It depends. You can try what is called a Pay For Delete (PFD) letter where you send the collection agency (CA) or original creditor (OC) a letter asking them to delete the account from your credit report if you pay it in full or they agree to a set amount..... Or if you have already paid the debt then you can try a Good Will (GW) letter where you ask the CA to look into their cold hearts and remove the collection on the basis that you've already paid them......it will require some time and patience. Look at some of the stickies here: http://ficoforums.myfico.com/t5/Rebuilding-Your-Credit/Helpful-Rebuilding-Threads/td-p/224981 Good luck !
