  • Dates one day behind after java upgrade to 1.6.0_27

    I have upgraded from Java 1.5.0_06 to 1.6.0_27
    After the upgrade ,I saw that dates are a day behind.All dates that lie between November 6th to March 10th are correct but dates
    lying between March 10th to November 5th for any year are wrong.(one day behind)
    Is it something to do with DayLight saying.
    I am using GMT-5 Eastern Time(US & Canada) and Server is set to automatically adjust time coressponding to day light saving.
    I checked,I get the date correct from database and in the factory class also it is correct,in the servlet it is correct but my Viewclass which calls this servlet shows date one day behind.
    I am doing no conversion ,the date fetched from database is stored like
    java.sql.Date beginDate= resultSet.getDAte("BeginDate")
    Schedule.setBegindate(beginDate)
    In the Schedule Object ,the beginDAte is of type Date.
    I am adding all dates to a treeset.I do a printout just after setting,it is correct
    But in my view class ,its one day behind,no manipulation is done.Dont know why is the day incorrect.
    IS it because of Java version.
    Please help

    As I mentioned That
    My view class TestView code is some what like this
    public class TestView extends JFrame
    public TestView(URL url, AppletContext appletContext)
    this.appletContext = appletContext;
    SwingUtilities.invokeLater(new Runnable() {
    public void run()
    testCommand test= new GetDatesCommand();//call factory class which fetches result from database
    Object returnValue = TestUtils.callServlet(test);//calls the servlet .
    if( returnValue instanceof TreeSet )
    TreeSet testSet= (TreeSet)returnValue;
    TestView.setDate(testSet));
    I am calling this constructor of viewtest class from my LoginTestApplet
    public class LoginTEstApplet extends JApplet
    public LoginApplet()
    TimeZone.setDefault(TimeZone.getTimeZone("EST"));
    LoginTestActionperformed()
    new testView(getDocumentBase(), this.getAppletContext());
    As I mentioned the values of dates as fetched from database ,factory class and getDatesCommand class prints fine.Its just inside this class after the call to servlet ,it displays wrong date.
    I have an applet ,LoginTestApplet which is the entry point for my application.Inside the default constructor ,I am doing
    TimeZone.setDefault(TimeZone.getTimeZone("EST"));
    I have mentioned in my second post what results it shows for getDefaults.
    I know its very strange ,the dates gets one day behind immedately only in the view class not in the servlet or the factory class.
    Please let me know if I need to post some more data .

    Hi Experts,
    There one  Independant Req per month dated the 1st day of the month.  When I run the MD02, the Purchase Requisition is placed the 1st day of the month. we do not maintain Planned delivery time. We would to have as Purchase Requisition date ; the last date of the previous month.

    30.11.2010     PurRqs     0010011236/00010
    01.12.2010     IndReq     ZLS1
    Pl explain me what to do!
    Thank you for your help!

    Thibaut,
    The easiest way to offset the date of the supply element from the date of the demand element by one day is to put one day into "Goods receipt processing time" in the Material master of each material.  (purchasing tab or MRP2 tab).

  • PC SUITE - date one day ahead on messages

    Phone: 6085

    OS: Windows Vista
    Time Zone (GMT+12:00) Auckland NZ

    My PC has the correct date and time
    The calendar on the PC Suite has the correct date
    But......the Communication Centre messages recieved or sent somehow shows as one day and several hours ahead of all of them.
    How is it that the Calendar shows the correct date, but not the communication centre? odd.
    Eg.  Send msg from my phone at 23:56 22nd Oct, but it shows up in the PC suite as 1:56pm on the 23rd Oct???
    Any messages I recieve suffers the same fate.

  • Palm desktop software moves data one day back

    Using Palm Desktop 4.6, the calendar data moved one back one day.  Thanksgiving is now on Wednesday along with all my calendar data.
    I downloaded and upgraded to Palm Desktop 6.2 and, of course, that did not correct the problem.
    I also HotSyncec with my Z22 and now the dates on it are also off by one day.  Can I fix this or do I have to do each day manually?  Thanks, Tom
    Post relates to: Palm Z22

    The same thing has happened to us. We don't sync with any device, but have changed computers, so are just transferring data from Palm Desktop on one computer to another (exported a file, put it on a flash drive, and then imported it). THe strange thing is that it doesn't move all the dates back one day, just some of them. There doesn't seem to be any pattern to which ones. And we noticed that it just dropped one all together.
    Looked at one of the dates that was moved. It is a repeat (a birthday). And when you look at the details of the repeat, the date is changed and where on the initial computer there was no end date, on the new computer it has put an end date.
    The desktop software is Pal Desktop by ACCESS, version 6.2.2
    Would love some help!!

  • PreparedStatement set date sometimes sets the date one day behind

    I have a PreparedStatement that sometimes sets the date a day behind. I am saving to a MSSQL DB with a field datetime. I have two identical PreparedStatments, one for insert and one for update. When either is executed, it will sometimes set the date back one day. It's not everytime. Every other or every third one, but it's not consistent. Any help would be appreciated.

    The database is a datetime field. Then you should be using the appropriate java jdbc time/date methods to access it rather than strings.
    We are only storing the date portion. Saving with today's date should produce '2009-12-28 00:00:00.000'.
    I just want to set the date to an absolute date (no time value) provided without timezones.Impossible. Since the database datatype is datetime that means that a timezone is always involved.
    And java always uses timezones. Ignoring the problem doesn't make it go away.

  • Sales order availaibility date one day in past

    Hi Experts,
    I am facing an issue in SNP planning book / Product view wherein Sales order availability date is one day in past (say, date in ECC 01.04.2015 00:00 hrs --> date in APO 31.03.2015 23:00 hrs). This only happens for plants where DST is maintained. DST ends in March, and this issue is popping up for the sales orders in the subsequent month, i.e. April. The same error is also present in the next month of the DST starting month. The issue is not present in any other months.
    I guess this is due to some inconsistencies that has arisen in APO. I saw a previous thread, http://scn.sap.com/thread/1816822, but it has ended without any solution.
    Note, we are not using GATP.
    Thanks in Anticipation.
    Regards,
    Biplab

    Hi All,
    The issue is found to be because of application of note 198411 in ECC. Amongst others, variable DST has been introduced for time zone AUSWA (table TTZDV). But, Western Australia does not follow DST after 2008-09.
    Have any of you faced similar issue post the latest version of note 198411 (released on 9-Jul-2014)?

  • Displaying wrong date(One day earlier then the current)

    Has anyone experienced this problem. I have an inputText field that is to take in a date value. When I use the DateTimeConverter to check if the date is valid, the returned date valu is always one day earlier than the user input day.
    How do I resolve this. Is there a setting that I need to change?

    Which JSF Implementation is this code extract from?
    I am using IBM WebSphere 6.0 and also experiencing a problem with an InputText displaying the day before. For example when the InputText value is set to 21-Apr-2007, 20-Apr-2007 is displayed. Here is a simplified version of what I'm doing:

  • Financial Reports with Date measures are showing data one day less

    Hello,
    I am running a financial report off of an ASO cube with type measures enabled. However, when i run the report in FR, that date data coming out is 1 day less...for eg 04/30/2012 comes out as 04/29/2012.
    however, when i run the same ad-hoc report via smart view, it is fine and the date comes out as expected. this is happening only in FR.
    Any help in this regard will be much appreciated.
    Thank you...

    I'm not sure what version you are running, but this was determined to be a bug that was fixed in 11.1.2.
    Although not pretty, you can add a similarly named dynamic member that will advance your date for you that you could use in FRS. You could use the DateRoll function: DateRoll ([Date Dimension], DP_DAY, 1 ). Just an idea.

    When I try to print the same from a java class it prints fine...
    createdDate.getTime().
    Has anyone faced this issue, Is there a problem with the JSF tag?

    Which JSF version? Do you use a converter?
    I can't reproduce it here in 1.2_04 with the following basic snippets:<h:outputText value="#{myBean.date}" /><br>

  • Counting Time-Dependent Master Data by Day

    I have a requirement to <b>count equipment master data by day</b> for specific equipement attributes.  I don't want to count the occurances of the equipment characteristics within transaction data.  I need join equipment usage transaction data with counts of all equipment to derive a usage percentage.
    Example:
    Jan 01, 2005
    Activity Type = D41000, 50 pieces of equipment were assigned to D41000 on 01/01/2005, but only 10 were used that day; therefore, usage percentage is 20% (10/50 * 100)
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    The way I've done is to store the usage count and the total count in transaction data.  They can be in the same InfoProvider, or they can be in separate InfoProviders if you put a MultiProvider over them.

  • In GATP would like to push schedule delivery date+1 day

    Hi Experts:-
    We have below requirement  in GATP:-
    Can we maintain a condition record for pick /pack time  = 1 day against Shipping Point in particular Location.? In other word we would like to push schedule delivery date+1 day.
    In APO we can see control data :- Plan (LEAD), load (LOAD), pick/pack (PICK), transport (TRAN), unload (UNLD)
    In APO We have maintained  value = 24:00 for location XXXX ( as per below steps)
    1.     In the SAP Easy Access screen choose Master Data ® Master Data for Transportation and Shipment Scheduling ® Create Scheduling Step.
    2.     Select a condition type.
    3.     Enter concrete values for the key combination.
    4.     Enter a duration (external display: hhhhhhh:mm).
    While checking order, When the process branches into APO ATP, can see time 24:00 This seems to indicate that Pick/Pack record has now been found, but the scheduled delivery date is not being pushed out by one extra day.
    Looking at the condition log in APO shows the following;;
    Lead Plan:304 Access for Access sequence LEAD missing(Usage U)
    Pick Pick : 208 Condition record has been found
    Load Load: 304 Access for Access sequence LOAD missing(Usage U)
    TRAN Transport: 009 Condition record is missing
    UNLD Unload :  002 Access not made ( Initialized field)
    Can you suggest.

    Hi DB,
    Thanks, Very helpful links.
    I did some testing on various sets of data change in APO for PICK and TRAN :-
    Parameters :-
    Order creation date     2-Nov
    Route YR0004= 4 days
    Calendar :-Sat and Sun holidays  & 11th Nov bank holiday
    Test 1 with 0 Day pick time, No TRAN maintained :-
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     7-Nov
    Loading date     7-Nov
    MAD     7-Nov
    Transportation planning date     7-Nov
    Test 2 with 1 day pick time, No TRAN maintained :-
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     7-Nov
    Loading date     7-Nov
    MAD     4-Nov
    Transportation planning date     7-Nov
    Test 3 with 3 day pick time, No TRAN maintained :-
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     7-Nov
    Loading date     7-Nov
    MAD     2-Nov
    Transportation planning date     7-Nov
    Test 3 with 5 day pick time, No TRAN maintained :-
    Delivery date     9-Nov
    Gi Date     9-Nov
    Loading date     9-Nov
    MAD     2-Nov
    Transportation planning date     9-Nov
    Now next scenario only TRAN without PICK
    Test1 with 1 day TRAN time
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     4-Nov
    Loading date     4-Nov
    MAD     4-Nov
    Transportation planning date     4-Nov
    *with 2 day and 3 day result is same as test1
    Test2 with 4 day TRAN time
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     3-Nov
    Loading date     3-Nov
    MAD     3-Nov
    Trasnportation planning date     3-Nov
    Test3 with 7 day TRAN time
    Can see Delivery Date moving ahead one day.
    Delivery date     9-Nov
    Gi Date     2-Nov
    Loading date     2-Nov
    MAD     2-Nov
    Trasnportation planning date     2-Nov
    Now next scenario  is to maintain data in both PICK and TRAN
    Test 1 with 1 days pick time+ 1 day Tran
    Delivery date     8-Nov
    Gi Date     4-Nov
    Loading date     4-Nov
    MAD     3-Nov

    Delivery date     9-Nov
    Gi Date     3-Nov
    Loading date     3-Nov
    MAD     2-Nov
    Trasnportation planning date     3-Nov
    Would like to know is this the correct standard behaviour or something wrong with our system config.

  • Date data from Crystal Report one day less than Date from Source

    Hi,
    I am creating a Crystal Report 4.0 for Enterprise Users (Client Version only) based on a BEx query. I have a field called 'Date' that I am bringing over from the BEx query. It has a format of MM/DD/YYYY. When I view the 'Date' in Crystal Reports, it is displaying as 1 day less from the actual data. For example, in the BEx Query, 'Date' = 11/01/2011.  In Crystal Reports, it is showing up as 10/31/2011, which is one day behind.  I'm not sure what's going on.
    Please help!

    Well, this is as weird as it gets!
    Here are the observations on SP02:
    1) The Date Characteristic is a day off in the report while the 'Key' shows correct date
    2) It displays in the '30.01.2011' (DD.MM.YYYY)format
    3) When you right-click this field to change the date format, the date option is missing
    4) You create a formula to see if this is a date and it returns True. The formula you can try is :
    isdate(). It returns False for any other function like isnumeric() etc
    5) So, this is a date filed, or CR4E thinks this is a date field, however doesn't let us change the format
    6) You cannot use this field with date functions like cdate(); weird!
    7) The only way you can show it the way you want is to write this formula:
    *mid(,4,2)&"/"&left(,2)&"/"&Right(,4)*
    This is still a string field, however displays as MM/DD/YYYY.
    In Crystal Reports 2011, however, the following formula on the same date field returns a date value, meaning you can further right-click this formula field to change the date format like a normal date field:
    cdate(tonumber(Right(,4)),tonumber(mid(,4,2)),tonumber(left(,2)))*
    The same formula, however, throws a 'String is non-numeric error in CR4E and I found that it doesn't like this:
    *tonumber(Right(,4)) ; same error
    I've tried a lot of combinations to make this a date field in CR4E, however none works!
    So, the only option is to use the formula that I mentioned above.
    P.S: If you install Patch 2.10, you'll notice that the Characteristic value shows the correct date. For some reason though, it is in the same format as the 'Key' and if we wish to change the date format, the only possible workaround is to extract the numbers and join like I suggested above.
    Hope this helps!

  • Outlook displays date of birthdays one day too early in MS Office 2007, 2010 and 2013

    Hi
    We are supporting several clients that has issues with Outlook. Different versions of Windows, Office and different exchange server versions. Some contacts' birthdays
    just "magically" changes to one day too early.  I have done extensive research with no answer. I have experienced this issue personally as early as about 2005 or 2006 with a Windows Mobile PDA.
    Our local time is GMT +2 without daylight-savings. I have checked the settings in Windows (Vista Pro and Win 7 pro
    x86 and x64) and the calendar settings, I have reloaded a couple of pc's, created new profiles, installed new server hardware with newer exchange.  Even tried a few off-the-wall ideas like resetting all views to default.
    Some users' address books are shared, some not. Some uses Apple, Android, BB or Windows phone, some don't.  Some connects through VPN, some don't. Some uses
    AVG, Avast, Eset Nod, Forticlient, Mcafee, etc....
    I have been fighting this problem for months, and can find no conclusive answer that resolves this.
    If I manually open the contact and rectify the date, it will stay correct for a very random time period and then shift
    again.
    I am about to lose a couple of my biggest clients, and probably my job as well, so I need urgent help.
    Please no remarks on OS version, Office version or mobile devices, as this is definitely not the issue.
    HELP!

    Hi,
    Have the users check on OWA, does the issue persist? Please also make sure the timezone of Exchange is also properly configured.
    I'm not an expert about Exchange, I hope this blog can be helpful:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/fun_with_powershell/archive/2013/04/30/where-is-the-time-zone-property-stored-in-exchange-2010.aspx
    To further dig the problem, rectify the date on owa and drop Outlook for a while(or one day), check the result the next day if the problem will come back.
