DB Autoconfig fails
Hi,
Running R12.1.1 Demo on Oracle Linux.
Been having a few issues with the tnsnames.ora and listener.ora files, so I've gone to run the DB Autoconfig.
The database listener is up and running and so is the database.
I get the following in the adconfig.log
Updating local context file variables for Database Tier
Getting listener port from /u01/ebs/R12VIS/db/tech_st/11.1.0/network/admin/VIS_oel63/listener.ora

Hi,
Do you have the latest autoconfig and TXK Patches?
And is the environment file sourced?
What is the value of $TNS_ADMIN?
Please post the listener.ora file from $TNS_ADMIN folder (cd $TNS_ADMIN)
And also, please post the output of
grep dbport $CONTEXT_FILE
Thanks

User is on a Macbook OS 10.7.5 using FireFox 10.0.1 and when launching she gets this error: AutoConfig Alert
Netscape.cfg/AutoConfig failed. Error: pref failed: [Exception... "Component returned
Any assistance would be helpfull. CheersNote that Firefox 10.0.1 is really old (there is a 10.0.2 release and a 10.0.12 ESR)
If she installed Firefox herself then check for the presence of a mozilla.cfg file (or netscape.cfg) in the Firefox installation folder. Otherwise you have to check this with the IT department or the people that provide support for this computer.

Gurus,
EBS : R12.1.2 (OS Linux)

I am getting error in autoconfig with jtfictx.sh. I am cloning PROD to QA. Usually I use RMAN duplicate to clone the database and then Application file system are copied. I have performed this method for many times( say 25 times).
This iteration after the database recovery, I ran the RDBMS autoconfig which completed successfully. Then I ran the autoconfig on the concurrent manager server first and received the below error. There are no change of steps from my usual.
