Db.get Java API Version 4.1.25

Hi,
I am using the SleepyCat Java API Version 4.1.25.
I am using the method Db.get to do a Bulk retrieval. It is taking a huge time to retrieve the data. I doubt that the database being highly fragmented. Is there any way to find that ?
Regards,
Pushparaj

Hi, Pushparaj
I think you're using Berkeley DB Core 4.1, because JE doesn't release a 4.1 release, and we don't have a bulk load/retrieve method.
This is the Berkeley DB Java Edition forum, you can post your question in this Berkeley DB core forum: Berkeley DB
Thanks and regards!

  • Java API for Webchannel 7.0

    Hello,
    for the ISA 4.0 we had the API of the java classes. Is there something like this for CRM 7.0.
    Best regards,
    Nils

    Hi Nils,
    Follow below steps.
    Yes you can get it from service market place.
    Follow below steps.
    1) Log in to service market place.
    2) Click on "Download" Tab
    3) On Left side click on SAP Software Distribution Center -->Download > Support Packages and Patches> Entry By Application Group.
    4) On Right side. Support Packages and Patches>SAP Application Components> SAP CRM> SAP CRM 2007> Entry by Component--> CRM Application Server Java
    5) Click on "SAP SHARED JAVA COMPONENTS"
    6) From Below screen click on "Download" tab and Download "SAPSHRJAVxx_x-xxxxxxxx.SCA" file.
    7) Open "SAPSHRJAVxx_x-xxxxxxxx.SCA" file by "WINRAR" and unzip on your local laptop.
    8) After unzip you will get several zip files under folder "BUILDARCHIVES"
    9) Find "crmshrjavadoc" file inside folder "BUILDARCHIVES"
    10) Unzip "crmshrjavadoc" file and you will get "javadoc.ppa" file
    11) Rename "Javadoc.ppa" file to "Javadoc.zip"
    12) Unzip "Javadoc.zip" file which we just rename in step 11.
    13) you will get folder "Docs". This folder contain actual "javadoc.zip" file
    14) Unzip above file and you will get Java API Documents for ISA 5.0 or ISA 6.0 or ISA 7.0 depends on "SAPSHRJAVxx_x-xxxxxxxx.SCA" version and SP level.
    I just got ISA Java Doc by following above steps. It looks 14 step but once you download SCA file it will take only 2-3 minutes.
    I am sure you will get Standard Java API for ISA just like ISA 4.0
    Please let me know if you face any problem.

  • Reg: Java API for MDM work flow

    Hi,
    I am using MDM java API (Version: 5.5 SP 06 Patch 2) for webdynpro. I am creating a record in MDM using MDM java API. Once the record gets created in MDM i need to call the MDM workflow. Is there any java API available to call the MDM workflow into webdynpro. If that is not possible, what is the alternative to call the MDM workflow into webdynpro.
    Kindly suggest.
    Thanks,
    Prasanthi.

    Hi Prasanthi,
    You need to use the three main classes to work with MDM Workflows
    1. RetrieveWorkflowTasksCommand
    2. WorkflowTask
    Both of the above classes are used to retrieve the current workflow tasks.
    3. WorkflowTaskAction
    4. WorkflowActionMenuNode
    Above classes tells the possible actions of the workflow task.
    You will find more information about the above classes in the Java docs
    I would still suggest to use UWL if you dont need any customization.

  • Bug report (and solution): adding multiple records through Java API in bulk

    I have found some bugs in the Java API (version 4.1.25) that makes it impossible to add mulitple values in bulk to a RECNO database. The fixes are as follows:
    MultipleEntry.java, line 80:
    "DbUtil.int2array(curr_off, this.data, pos);"
    should be replaced by
    " DbUtil.int2array(recno, this.data, pos);"
    MultipleRecnoDatabaseEntry.java, line 130:
    "return append_internal(data, doff, dlen, recno);"
    should be replaced by
    "return append_internal(data, offset, len, recno);"
    Regards,
    Johan Walters

    Hello,
    It looks like there were some corrections to this area in the post 4.1 i.e. 4.2 release. And I do not see these same issues in the current 5.1.25 release. If you do find them in the current release, just let us know.
    Thanks,

  • Adobe DPS: Direct Entitlement API Version 2

    Hi guys,
    I have some questions about Direct Entitlement API Version 2 (http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/dps/entitlement/direct-entitlement-api.pdf). Based on the API, SignInWithCredentials and entitlements request body will contain a XML document which contains information like email address, passwords, product IDs and cover dates. I'm able to get the email address and password from the parameter but I could not retrieve the product IDs and cover dates at all. Is it because we do not have a valid Integrator ID from Adobe yet?
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Gary.

    Yes, I understand that I need to create a web services for these URLs. My main concern is how can I use Direct Entitlement API Version 2 in Sprint 26 only.
    I have listed out the major differences between API version 1 and API version 2. I have also list out how I retrieve the data from my web services.
    For SignInWithCredentials URL:
    According to API version 1, emailAddress, password, appId, appVersion and uuid are passed in the queries using HTTP GET method. But in API version 2, emailAddress and password are in the request body as a XML document using HTTP POST method.
    I built my app in Sprint 26 but I retrieved the emailAddress, password, appId, appVersion and uuid using HTTP GET methods only. My request body and HTTP POST methods are both empty.
    For entitlements URL:
    According to API version 1, the transaction must be done by HTTP GET method. It does not provide folios' product ID and cover date either. But in API version 2, the transaction must be done by HTTP POST method and it will provide folios' product ID and cover date in the request body as a XML document.
    I built my app in Sprint 26 but I retrieved the authToken, appId and appVersion using HTTP GET method only. My request body and HTTP POST method are both empty.
    It seems that in my app is still using API version 1. How can I use API version 2 for my app in Sprint 26?
    You can get both API version from these links:
    API version 1: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/dps/entitlement/Entitlements_API.pdfAPI version 2: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/developer/dps/entitlement/direct-entitlement-api.pdf
    Thank you.

    Gary.

  • Steps for java apis and mdm

    Hi all ,
    How we can work with JAVA APIs and MDM .
    Please tell step by step ways.
    thanks in advance.
    Thnks
    nm

    Hi Man,
    You have to specify the correct JAR files in the classpath of the Java Virtual Machine (JVM). The API consists of five JAR files:
    1. mdm-admin.jar
    2. mdm-common.jar
    3. mdm-core.jar
    4. mdm-data.jar
    5. mdm-protocol.jar
    These files in one single archive file with the name MDMJavaAPI_Ver<buildnumber>.zip. you can download this file from the service market place by using mentioned below link:
    http://service.sap.com/swdc
    then goto Download>Support Packages and Patches> Entry by application group -->SAP NetWeaver -->SAP MDM -->SAPMDM5.5 -->Java API
    for the Java API documentation, you can download it from the link below:
    http://help.sap.com/javadocs/MDM/current
    But remember one thing that this JAVA API Version file must be compitable with your MDM Server version.you can verify this as per the build version.
    Hope this will help you.

  • EPM-Version is 11.1.2.3, Java API, getTimeModified strange outcome

    Dear all,
    I would like to ask for help in a "strange" area.
    We have built a small java programm to check locked objects (files) in essbase.
    We want so save the result (analog to the EAS-infos) in a oracle-table for analysis purposes.
    We also want to store the "lock-date" like it is shown in EAS for lockes objects grid.
    However we are unable to get  valid date/time information from the
    getTimeModified method.
    EPM-Version is 11.1.2.3 (the java-api as well)
    E.g. given the pos 6 of the array the resulting year is "115". obviously wrong.
    (The resulting date/time should be today around 01:00 PM)
    https://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/aps_javaapi/index.html
    I't would be great if someone could take a look at this.
    Thank you in advance!
    Andre

    Hi,
    as promised here the working pice of code.
    No array base work... Just as shown here:
    Very important things, that cannot be omitted,  are:
    cal.clear();
    cal.add(Calendar.SECOND,fileObject.getTimeStamp());
    private Calendar getLockedTime(IEssOlapFileObject fileObject) throws EssException {
            Calendar cal = GregorianCalendar.getInstance();
            cal.clear();
            cal.add(Calendar.SECOND, fileObject.getTimeStamp());
            int offset = TimeZone.getTimeZone("Europe/Berlin").getOffset(cal.getTimeInMillis());
            cal.add(Calendar.MILLISECOND, offset);
            return cal;
    Hint:
    getTimeZone("Europe/Berlin") is just an sample.
    In the real code it comes from a param file: int offset = TimeZone.getTimeZone(serverHandler.getEssbaseProperties().getServerTimeZone()).getOffset(cal.getTimeInMillis());

  • Unable to work with Java APIs in MDM new version 5.5.42.65

    Hi,
    I developed few java applications using MDM Java APIs in the old version(5.5.41.70) of MDM.
    After  installing new version(5.5.42.65) of MDM  in my system, i tried to execute the java applications,am getting failed to execute the applications.
    Does the change in the Version not allowing the Java MDM application to execute or is there any other reason..?
    Regards
    Praveen K

    Praveen,
    Are you using the new jar files as well?  The api jars and the mdm server must be on exactly the same version.
    Hope this helps.

  • Java API: IFS Document Versions

    Hello,
    I'm trying to list all versions of a document in an web page, and provide a link to each document version (I'm currently using JSP and IFS Java API Classes as interface from Web to the IFS system).
    To download a specific document version I need to know it's version because we are using different version atribution and I need to match our versions with IFS versions.
    How can I get the version of a specific Document (Java API)?

    okay folks, I've tried something and it seems to work:
    Selector sel=new Selector(IFSSession);
    PublicObject result=(PublicObject)sel.nextItem();
    pw.println(result.getAnyFolderPath());

  • Any java API to get the metadata for a deployed bpel process in soa/bpm11g?

    Hi,
    Just wonder if this is possible, that there is some existing java api to retrieve the metadata (containing activities, isSynchrous, version information etc) for a deployed bpel process? If not, is there any other way to achieve this goal ( or example query database table directly)?
    I can only find this link for soa11g java api. I am able to invoke the bpel process using this API(direct binding) from java client.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/index.html?overview-tree.html
    Any help will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bin

    What I find so far:
    1. can get some process property values from ComponentInstance class, see its api.
    http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E14571_01/apirefs.1111/e10659/oracle/soa/management/facade/ComponentInstance.html
    Please refer http://blogs.oracle.com/soabpm/2009/07/soa_suite_11g_api_tricks_part.html of how to get the component instance (contain the bpel process) from a composite object
    2. in dev_soainfra database schema, the CUBE_INSTANCE table contains most of soa bpel components information. The BPM_CUBE_PROCESS table seems to contain only the process defined in a bpm application. This sounds a little confused, if we want to develop a bpel application, should it be put in soa or bpm application and what is the difference?
    Please feel free to correct any mistakes here.

  • I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Is Apple aware of this problem? No longer supported?

    My web page uses a Java Applet to allow my visitors to replay chess games; the Chess Viewer Deluxe applet was written by Nikolai Pilafov some time ago and has been working properly for some time (until recently). I don't monitor this part of my site regularly so I am not sure when it began to fail. On his web site [http://chesstuff.blogspot.com/2008/11/chess-viewer-deluxe.html] he has a link to check LiveConnect object functionality (which fails for OBJECT tags). His recommendation is to "seek platform specific support which might be available from the JRE developers for your platform".
    I have been getting java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: ZeroApplet.class and java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: JavaToJS.class crashes with JRE version 1.6.0_26-b03-384-10M3425 VM executing a Java Applet. Until I checked the LiveConnect object functionality, I was unable to identify the source of the console error messages. This does seem to be the smoking gun.
    Is Apple aware of this problem? Are these classes no longer supported? Has anyone else had this problem? You can attempt to recreate the problem locally by going to my web page: http://donsmallidge.com/DonSmallidgeChess.html

  • Any way to get Java Plug-In-like handling of jar versions?

    I have jars intended for use with the Java Plug-In with version #'s in properties files (computed by the various tooling for updating these on the server). The jars themselves have no notion of jar #.
    I would like to re-use these jars and version #'s with Java Web Start to avoid conditional GETs, but without jar diffing in this case (as I already have many small jars due to lack of jar diffing in the Java Plug-In).
    Is there any way I can get Java Web Start to act like the Java Plug-In in this regard (i.e. the jar version # is a statement from the server, the client does a normal GET against the jar URL if its own version is not that stated by the server)?
    [Don't get me wrong, jardiffing is cool, but having to do everything differently between Java Web Start and the Java Plug-In is [b]not cool.

    Best way IMO would be to create a Socket connection to it so that you could connect with a client app and feed in data that way
