Table for the program name description

hi,
i want to know the table which stores the description of the table.
i having the TADIR(Directory of R/3 Repository Objects) which stores the data about a program but i want to have the description of the program also.
plzz provide me guidelines for getting the description of the program.

Table: REPOSRC there is only programm name but not code by using program name you can get code into your report by using Read Report syntax.
Example,
parameters: p_pname type reposrc-PROGNAME.
data: Begin of table occurs 10,
line(150),
end of table.
read report p_pname into table.
loop at table.
write / table.
endloop.

What is the program name to update vbrp and ce1beka tables

when i do vf01 transaction and i press save then the table ce1beka and the table vbrp is updating.How i can find from which program these tables are updating.Is it possible to check in sql trace?.from where the data is coming to those tables. please help me.

Hi Bharat,
For any given transaction you can find the relevant program very easily.
Enter the Tcode in command prompt.Goto menu path System->Status.
In SAP data section you can view the Tcode and the corresponding Program name.
For Tcode: VF01, the program name is SAPMV60A.
Also, using Tcode: SE49, you can see what are the tables being updated through a program or transaction.

see the program name NAME as putting Z*
where DATUM is the creation date
ZEIT is the creation time

Yosemite 10.10.2 server app. FTP help. I have a program running in my local server enviroment that wants to FTP to my mac folder. It asks for the server , name, password, port and path. what are they?

So I have set up a localhost area in my Mac. I have the new server.app and I am running yosemite 10.10.2 .
I have a program running in my local server enviroment that wants to FTP to my mac .
It asks for the server , name, password, port and path. what are they?
I am pretty certain that the Serveris "localhost",
Name is my macs name (like my-mac-min)
password is "my login password"
and they suggest port 21.
But what is the file path, lets just say my site is set up http://localhost/siteftp and is actually at my Users/Sites/siteftp folder.
Why cant this program connect to the mac.
Is it because they are both operating in the same localhost enviroment,
could it be my folder permissions are not correct on siteftp folder?
Help please !

I tried turning the computer off and then back on. The alerts don't show the notice to update as resolved. Hopefully this is not a problem or an indicator or another problem. Should I ignore or reload 10.10.1 from the app store to trigger a resolved check in a green circle?
Interesting that I had to buy server software after my free Yosemite download. I would have hoped that the two pieces of software would have gone together without any complication. It is not positive to end up buying a problem. Ah well, time to move on.

Go to SE16 and then go to table TSTC.
in that give program name as <b>*followed by your query name</b>
(for example *TESTQUERY)
and run , that will give progname======queryname.

Hi Sridhar,
Welcome to SDN.
The tables for a given transaction can be seen in the transaction SE80.
First goto SE93.
Give ur Tcode and find the program name.
Now goto SE80. select program in the first dropdown and give the program name in the second box. U can find the list of tables used.
One more way is : use ST05.
and One more is using FM 'get_tables'

How to change package for the program or t code if package not available?

I have a T Code that was imported from ECC5 to BW system.
This t code as well as its program have a package ZXYBC assigned in ECC5 system.
However, the package that it was assigned (ZXYBC) does not exist in BW but exists in ECC5.
Now I am not able to do any modifications (in the BW system) to the T Code or its associated program as the Package ZXYBC does not exist in BW.
Note: Change Object Directory Entry does not work.
Any suggestions?

Open your main program of your TCODE in SE80 transaction.(Go to se93 transaction to get the program name for your TCODE).
Right click on the root node.
Other Functions->Change Package Assignment.
GIve the new package name (THis package should be already created in your system).

run the program RSSCAN1 or RPR_ABAP_SOURCE_SCAN .. give the program name as z* and in the search string give the name of the field that you are looking for.

Is it possible to have 2 tables with the same name in an Orable database?

I'm a complete Oracle newbie so please excuse my question if it's stupid.
I was trying to create 2 tables with the same name using different tablespaces but it does not seem to work. Like this (second time just change the name of the tablespace):

It is not possible to create two tables with same name in same schema.
A user can own one schema with his own name and another with the schema name SYS.
For this you have to grant sysdba privilage to the user and then have to connect using sys password or with the password specified in password file.
But this still you have to access to the table in sys schema using sys.table_name.
