DBAT Connector Issue
Hi,
I am getting the following error while defining a DBAT connector for Oracle Database. There is only one Table which I am defining for that connector. I do not face the issue while defining the connector for other tables in other oracle database.

Hi Gurus,
I am working in a PoC (OIM 11g x AD and DBAT integration).
I have faced some problem to sucessful create the GTC for DB. I have followed the DBAT connector guide and Creating GTC section of the OIM Administrative and User Console Guide.

I faced something similar few days ago, in my case, this error was due to the fact that in my TARGET Table, there is a large atribute called "ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela", when GTC try to create the process form it concatenates something like
GTCRESNAME_UD_ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela
but Oracle database only support identifiers of size 30 or 40 (I don't remember), No possible for me to solve the issue eficiently, Metalink says something like "create a view and reduce the identifier name to suite OIM poor validation engine...." I ended up removing this attribute in the GTC wizard, of course no possible to provision ciudad_natal_de_mi_tatarabuela

DBAT Connector 11.1.1.5.0 installation making oim server shut down

Currently as part of new requirement, we have just started working on DBAT .
OIM server is getting shut down abruptly when the DBAT connector is being installed after package is being generated.
Please find below the steps followed for installation.
As per documentation,

6.Now , when I try to install the dbat connector, through adminconsole --> Manager connector -->Install -->Load
7.It loads for 10-15 minutes and throws the error on browser as , 'Network Error , server is too busy to process the request'
8.If I would go and see in weblogic console, I could find, OIM server is shut down.
9.I can see, in /home/oracle/Oracle/Middleware/user_projects/domains/base_domain/servers/oim_server1/logs/oim_server1-diagnostic.log, that the connector file, DBAT_IT schedule tasks are being read
Kindly help to get rid of the problem and install the connector appropriately.

Integrating MS SQL 2005 using DBAT Connector 9102
Hi,
I am trying to integrate MS SQL 2005 using DBAT Connector 9102 using GTC. My OIM version is 9102. Though the table exist in MS SQL still it is not able to find it.
It is able to connect but throwing error that table "test" does not exist.
I also tried to connect with small java program to test the connectivity

Is DBAT Connector compatible with Oracle Express Edition
Hi All,
This is the first time that I would be working with DBAT connector.
I would need to start POC on DBAT Connector 11.1.1.5.0 with oracle DB.
As part of POC, I would like to know, whether I would need to install Oracle EE (10g or 11g or 12g) or Oracle Express edition of the same version would suffice.
This is just to reduce Oracle EE license issues for POC.
Would you kindly suggest.

Error received during re-installation of DBAT connector
Hello,
We successfully uninstalled the DBAT connector. During re-install, we received an error related to the targetsystems-lib within $MW/Oracle_IDM1/server/ConnectorDefaultDirectory/targetsystems-lib/dbat-11.1.1.5.0.
We renamed the targetsystems-lib to targetsystems-lib_SAVED and reinstalled the connector successfully.
However, when running the DBAT user reconciliation, we received an error saying "no jdbc driver is found in the CLASSPATH". We tried to restore the $MW/Oracle_IDM1/server/ConnectorDefaultDirectory/targetsystems-lib/dbat-11.1.1.5.0/ojdbc*.jar back and set the CLASSPATH in the setDomainEnv.sh, restarted Admin server, and OIM managed server. Still it did not help.
We still get the same error either for provisioning or reconciliation.
Is there a way to fix this or do we need to uninstall and reinstall again?

How to trigger an update in DBAT connector?

I have set up the DBAT connector so that "Create User" task would call the create user groovy script, which calls the stored procedure to insert records into the parent and child tables. This works fine.
I also set up the connector so that "Delete User" task would call the delete user groovy script, which calls the stored procedure to delete records in the parent and child tables. This also works fine.
I have only 1 use case left which is the update of the child table.
I have a field called Reporter ID in the USR form. I created a Change Reporter ID process task in DBAT process definition (added this into the lookup.USR_PROCESS_TRIGGERS). This called an adapter task that just returned a response code of SUCCESS. I want to attach a process task to this Change Reporter ID so that "somehow" it would call my "update user" groovy script, which calls the stored procedure to delete records from the child table and re-insert new records into the child table.
How can I achieve this? I don't want to update anything in the parent process form or child process form. I just want to call my update user stored procedure.

OIM 11g DBAT connector - trusted reconciliation for user roles

We have a database table containing a bunch of user records, and a table with a foreign key that contains all the associations user-group. We would like to do trusted reconciliation from those two tables into OIM. I already did that for target reconciliation but now I am having a look at the DBAT connector docs, and I have found this:
"Child Table/View Names
If you want to use the connector for trusted source reconciliation, then do not enter a
value. If you want to use the connector for target resource reconciliation and if user data is
spread across parent and child tables, then enter a comma-separated list of child table
names."
Does this mean that role membership trusted reconciliation is not supported by the DBAT connector?

OIM 11g DBAT connector - user update not working after target recon

I have configured a resource (XSVR3) with the DBAT 9.1.0.5.0 connector to do provisioning and target recon to and from the same custom database table, following the example found on the connector guide. Now what happens is the following:
- if I first provision the resource to the user everything works fine
- if a resource is first assigned to a user as a result of a target recon, the connector then fails at propagating to the table any changes I make in the process form, returning the following error:

It looks like the connector is unable to find the record that needs to be updated. I've looked into the process form table of the resource on the DB (called UD_XSVR3), and I noticed that records resulting from target reconciliation have a null in the UD_XSVR3_ID column, while records resulting from a direct provisioning have the username in the same column. Updating manually the column in the first kind of records fixes the issue, but I need to know if/what have I missed in the connector configuration.

I am not sure of OJDBC jar file version .we have either OJDBC5 or OJDBC6 jar deployed in SAP MII.
The oracle database version that we are connecting in the data server is Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.3.0 - 64bit
My questions are
After the server process shutdown and recovered , While all other connectors working fine why oracle connectors have problems?
Is it due to oracle driver issue? or any other issue related to Netweaver.

The "oid_connector.log" was created for me, but no logs are being printed out whenever I do anything related with LDAP in the OIM console.

I have been having this annoying issue trying to Join my windows 8.1 desktop pc to my company domain, whenever I run through the connector software (Windows server 2012 essentials) it fails with "an unexpected error has occured" just after you
put in the domain credentials.
I've removed all connector updates and software installed on the pc and tried fresh...still no joy.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Please ensure you uninstall those connector software completely and unjoin you computer client from the network. Meanwhile, please make sure the client computer
is not joined to any other server networks. Then check if you can join in your company domain.
Based on your current description, please refer to the following path on the client computer: %programdata% /Microsoft /Windows
Server /Logs and find the ClientDeploy.log to narrow down your issue.
By the way, would you please provide a screenshot for the error message (you describe it "an unexpected error has occurred")?

DBUM Connector Issue in OIM11g
Hi all. I'm having a very strange issue. Let me explain my scenario. I have installed correctly the DBUM Connector 9.1.0 in OIM11g. When I start a direct provisioning for an user, it all works perfectly: the user gets correctly created automatically on Oracle DB by the connector. Now I'm trying to enable a Human User to edit the provisioning form before the connector starts for the provisioning in the following way:
- User X starts direct provisioning for Oracle DB resource object
- User Y is assigned the provisiong task "Edit Provisioning Form" (which precedes "Create User" - standard task created by DBUM connector installation)
- User Y edits the provisioning form (previously compiled from User X)
- Connector starts for the provisioning with the provisioning form modified by User Y
All actors involved in this process have all privileges on resources and forms for Oracle DB resource object.
Although this, when connector starts it reply with the "ERROR" response code. Analyzing the log, I've been able to see this exceptions:
oracle.iam.connectors.common.vo.ITResource
and all the related exceptions. By the way, User X chooses correctly the IT Resource for Oracle DB resource, and User Y does not modify X's choice.
Could anyone help me to find out the solution to this problem?
I've tried the same solution with SSH Connector, in OIM11g, and it works fine. I'm having this issue only with DBUM Connector for Oracle DB.

I seem to have a dodgie pop-port on my phone or dodgie cables?
I wiggle the pc cable and that causes it to disconnect from the pc and phone yet its still in the socket and the headset sometimes if i wiggle it, the sound cuts out..
Can I take this to a Nokia shop to get it fixed under warranty or do I have to RMA it back to Expansys?

Yes, Nokia's pop-port wasn't their best invention. I had similar problems with my 6280 and I've heard countless other people with similar issues.
What I used to do always was to blow on the handset's connector in order to dislodge any dust particles, and then wipe the contacts on the headphone or USB cable with a soft cloth in order to get rid of dust/grease/etc. Then annd only then did I get a relatively stable connection.
