Dblink_encrypt_login was marked as deprecated in 9.2 However,

the parameter is actually obsolete i.e. it no longer has any function and its setting has no effect on anything as the value it sets internally is never used.
Can anyone substantiate this?
More from our DBA - - The dblink_encrypt_login parameter was made obsolete in 9.2 since the passwords are now always encrypted (thus making this parameter no longer necessary). It is now set to TRUE by default internally.

Apparently these parameters only have effect when connecting to release 7.0 from a release >= 7.1
9.2 is no longer able to connect to 7.0 so the parameter was marked as deprecated. Methinks it should have been obsoleted, but it's late and I can't think straight :-)

I'm running Exchange 2010 SP2 RU1 in a two node DAG.
All the databases are mounted and healthy. Running ESEUTIL /G returned no errors (just some warnings about "orphaned scrubbed LV(401) detected" and said an offline defrag would fix it). Running ESEUTIL /K on the databases comes back clean as well.
For about two weeks now I've been getting clusters of 1114 warnings in the Application log of the server which has the active database. Unfortunately, I've been almost completely unable to find any information on this warning; the one thing I was able to
find pointed to a harmless issue with Advanced Search in Outlook 2007/2010, but that was fixed in SP1 RU4.
Any ideas? At this point I think I'm ready to just create a new database and move my mailboxes over.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after It shuts down, press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.

The iphone warranty is not international. It is based from the original country of purchase. You will need to ship to someone you know in the Canada to bring it to Apple for evaluation. Then that person will have to ship the phone back to you. Shipping and insurance will be at your expense. In the terms of the iphone warranty:

How to reset OpenLDAP service that was marked for deletion

Hi,
I installed the Shared Services, Essbase and Planning in my PC. After installing it, I went to services screen. I found that OpenLDAP service was in 'Started' and 'Disabled' status. When I try to change the status of the service from 'Disabled' to 'Automatic' or 'Manual', I am getting an error 'The specified service has been marked for deletion'. If I tried to stop the service, the service is vanishing from services list. I am consistently facing this issue even if I tried to reinstall all the modules. Can any one tell me how can I resolve this issue?

I take it that after it has been marked for deletion and you reboot then the service is removed?
I am not sure what version you are on but for 9.3.1 to create the OpenLdap service again,
open a cmd prompt to directory
*\Hyperion\SharedServices\9.3.1\openLDAP*
and type :-
slapd.exe install OpenLDAP-slapd "Hyperion S9 OpenLDAP"

After Firefox 8, I cannot see the extensios.rdf file as before. Basically, here I used to get the firefox key e.g. {ec8030f7-c20a-464f-9b0e-13a3a9e97384} and then get the FF version via em:minVersion/em:maxVersion.

If you are looking to edit the maxVersion for an extension, do the edit in the '''install.rdf''' file for each particular extension.

PDF was marked up with changes, now can I get it back into FM 10?

My client is a government agency that does not have FrameMaker (I use FM 10). So I sent them a PDF, which they promptly marked up...all 10 of them!
So my question is whether I can somehow get those changes back into FrameMaker without going through each one individually.
I am on Windows, using FrameMaker 10, Acrobat XI Professional.
I'm pretty sure I know the answer :-(.

Restoring backup that was marked obsolete by RMAN

Hello,
Is it possible to restore a BACKUPSET that is outside the retention period? The backup was claimed absolete according to RMAN retention settings and the records were therefore deleted from the catalog.
Can we still use/restore this backupset?

If you have Time Machine setup, you can use it to recover the backup with it. Then just restore the iPhone from backup as usual.
If you haven't setup Time Machine, you can try searching the web for backup extractors (not made by Apple). One of those Extractors may be able to recover some of the data from the backup, which you can just re-import and sync to the iPhone again.

I am trying to move all itunes files to my new laptop and was able to do with home sharing, however I now have no idea how to keep the itunes on my new computer when I dispose of the old as all files are inaccessible when the old computer is disconnected

I wouldn't use Home Sharing for this. These are two possible approaches that should work.
Method 1
Backup the library with this User Tip.
Restore the backup to your new computer using the same tool used to back it up.
Deauthorize the old computer if you no longer want to access protected content on it.
Keep your backup up-to-date in future.
Method 2
Connect the two computers to the same network. Share your <User's Music> folder from the old computer and copy the entire iTunes library folder into the <User's Music> folder on the new one. Again, deauthorize the old computer if no longer required.
Both methods should give the new computer a working clone of the library that was on the old one. As far as iTunes is concerned this is still the "home" library for your devices so you shouldn't have any issues with iTunes wanting to erase are reload.
I'd recommend method 1 since it establishes an ongoing backup for your library.

iTunes charges tax, so if you did not caculate that in there could be your problem. other then that we are users just like you not Apple. If you want to talk to them call 800.MY.APPLE
