Dbms_java.grant_permission fails during the subsequent executions

Always first call succeeds for the following lines in a procedure.
dbms_java.grant_permission('MDSYS','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','D:\temp\test.dat,'read' );
dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT,'SYS:java.io.FilePermission','D:\temp\test.dat,'read' );
Any subsequent call does not return error message. But the other parts of the code fails to recognize the file permission and results in error.
Workaround is to run the grant_permission for a set for files separately, then the other parts of the code recognize the file permissions.
Any ideas? Thanks.

Thanks for your attention.
1. Here is the code
-- Import the image.
PROCEDURE Import_Raster (pi_grant_schema varchar2, pi_utldirname varchar2, pi_filename varchar2, pi_georid number)
IS
     -- PRAGMA AUTONOMOUS_TRANSACTION;
     geor SDO_GEORASTER;
     l_filepathname varchar2(255);
     l_privilege varchar2(50) := 'read';
BEGIN
     l_filepathname:= pi_utldirname||'\'||pi_filename;
     dbms_java.grant_permission('MDSYS','SYS:java.io.FilePermission',l_filepathname, l_privilege );
     dbms_java.grant_permission(pi_grant_schema,'SYS:java.io.FilePermission',l_filepathname, l_privilege );
     delete from georaster_table where georid = pi_georid;
     insert into georaster_table (georid,georaster)
          values( pi_georid, sdo_geor.init('RDT_GEOR', pi_georid) );
     select georaster into geor from georaster_table where georid = pi_georid for update;
     sdo_geor.importFrom(geor, '', 'TIFF', 'file',l_filepathname);
     update georaster_table set georaster = geor where georid = pi_georid;
     dbms_java.revoke_permission('MDSYS','SYS:java.io.FilePermission',l_filepathname, l_privilege );
     dbms_java.revoke_permission(pi_grant_schema,'SYS:java.io.FilePermission',l_filepathname, l_privilege );
END;
2. I could reproduce the error if repeated call the procedure with different file name as below.
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m25l_2_a.tif','read' );
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m25l_2_b.tif','read' );
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m26d_2.tif','read' );
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m26e_2.tif','read' );
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m26f_3.tif','read' );
call dbms_java.grant_permission('SCOTT','SYS:java.io.FilePermission','e:\temp\m26g_1.tif','read' );
3. Workaround: I am exiting the session after each command.
Thanks.

    Hi Ychinnari,
    I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, as
    Vaishu00547 mentioned that the issue can be caused by the Execution Account you have configured in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not correct, Please update the Username and Password and restart the reporting services.
    Please also find more details information about when to use the execution account, if possible,please also not specify this account:
    This account is used under special circumstances when other sources of credentials are not available:
    When the report server connects to a data source that does not require credentials. Examples of data sources that might not require credentials include XML documents and some client-side database applications.
    When the report server connects to another server to retrieve external image files or other resources that are referenced in a report.
    Execution Account (SSRS Native Mode)
    If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

    Hi StevenDE2012,
    Based on the error message "The report server has encountered a configuration error. Logon failed for the unattended execution account. (rsServerConfigurationError)", it seems that the Unattended Execution Account settings in Reporting Services
    Configuration is not correct.
    Reporting Services provides a special account that is used for unattended report processing and for sending connection requests across the network. Unattended report processing refers to any report execution process that is triggered by an event rather than
    a user request. The report server uses the unattended report processing account to log on to the computer that hosts the external data source. This account is necessary because the credentials of the Report Server service account are never used to connect
    to other computers. To configure the account, please refer to the following steps:
    Start the Reporting Services Configuration tool and connect to the report server instance you want to configure.
    On the Execution Account page, select Specify an execution account.
    Type the account and password, retype the password, and then click Apply.
    In addition, please verify you have access to the Report Server database by following steps:
    Go to SQL Server Reporting Services Configuration Manager, make sure the configuration is correct.
    Go to Database, Verify that you can connect to the database.
    Make sure you are granted public and RSExecRole roles.
    Reference:
    Configure the Unattended Execution Account
    Configure a Report Server Database Connection
    If the problem is unresolved, i would appreciate it if you could give us detailed error log, it will help us move more quickly toward a solution.
    Thanks,
    Wendy Fu

    Please give me the right soluction for this problem.

    Hi Ychinnari,
    According to your description, you comes across an error when you run a report.
    In your scenario, the issue could cause by the Execution Account you have configured in the Reporting Services Configuration Manager is not correct. Please go to Reporting Services Configuration Manager and connect to the report server instance, then open
    the Execution Account page, update the username and password for the execution account, finally, restart the Reporting Services for this instance.
    Since you mentioned you can’t find the log files, please check the server which has reporting server instance installed with this path: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\<instance name>\Reporting Services\LogFiles to check the error log.
    If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • After I updated my phone I lost all my pictures and the new apps I downloaded. I would really love my pictures back does anyone know how? It said that the backup failed during the process. Is it all lost?

    I went to update my phone and after the update I recieved a message that it failed and that the back up failed. I had to restore my phone to stock. I just want to know if there was a possibility to get my pictures back. I tried to get my phone to restore from my last back up but it wouldn't do that either. Does anyone have any ideas. I am really only worried about my pictures and videos I had a couple hundred and they were important.

    Thank you. I have been reading about a lot of these occurances and many people have been able to get their pictures back through iexplorer however I am unable to. The error number I got was 50 or something like that. I have a feeling I will not be able to get the pictures back because it said the backup failed after the update failed.

  • Lenovo Yoga 11 failed during the factory re-install of windows...now doesn't boot at all

    Hi guys,  thanks for providing this forum !!
    Whilst preparing my Yoga 11 for a clean and for sale, I decided that it was a good idea to clean the PC by doing a complete 'factory settings' re-install of the Windows 8 RT software.   I started this process just before bed, and the message that said this would take several hours, so I figured it would be finished by morning.
    I was met this morning with the PC in a crashed state.  It was non-respondant and just sat on the Lenovo boot screen, with no activity to the progress.
    I pressed the on off button for 10 seconds and hard booted the machine.   This now attempts to boot, although has obviously crashed part way during the windows re-install process.   The message I get on screen now states
    'The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error.  WIndows installation cannot proceed.  To install windows click 'OK' to restart the computer, and then restart the installation'
    I can no longer boot to windows, and I just receive the message above.
    I do not have an install disc...I assume the files are on a recovery partition.   Is there a boot / recovery / safe mode menu for the Yoga, that will allow me to recover this Yoga to it's factory state ??
    Kind Regards
    smiley.

  • Automatic Activity Creation during the Campaign Execution

    Hi Experts,
    I have the following requirement.
    If I run a campaign then a corresponding activity should be created in the CRM system.
    Ex; If a mail Invitation to a Tradeshow is sent to 10 customers then 10 Activities should be created for each of the 10 Customers.
    Does anyone know how to achieve this.
    We are using SAP CRM 2007
    Cheers,
    Arun

    Hi,
    First create Activity Template for activity.
    Under communication medium define followings:
    Communication Medium: ZXXX - Email/Activities
    Communication Methods and Transaction Types
    Priority 7 - () Generate Contact - assign Transaction type (Activity Template)
    Define Communication Methods for BP-Determined
    3 Internet Mail (SMTP)
    7 Generate Contact - assign Transaction type (Activity Template)
    During Campaign creation under Channel you need to fill 'Email Form' assignment
    also fill Activity template.
    Once Campaign ready for execution, click on button, it will send email and also create activities using template for those BPs included in segment.

  • Sporadic problem: The report server has encountered a configuration error. Logon failed for the unattended execution account.

    I have 2 reports that have subscriptions.   I am sporadically getting this error.   If it was really a configuration problem then I think I should get the error every time.     Does any one have any suggestions of
    what to look for?    I have not found any errors relating to this problem in the server logs.

    Hi ClareD,
    According to the error message, there is an unattended execution account specified on the report server. Based on my research, the issue always occurs when you are using incorrect login name and password. Such as the password expired. Please make sure you
    set the correct login name and password.
    Besides, please double check if the user has the following permission on the reporting service database server:
    Public and RSExecRole roles for the  ReportServer database.
    RSExecRole role for the master, msdb, and ReportServerTempDB databases.
    If he does not have the permission, please try to grant the proper permission first. For more information, please refer to the article:

    Everything seemed fine untill the end of the clusterware installation...
    Firstly i did not get the option to install orainstRoot.sh script, I mean the "Execute the configuration scripts" has only one script to install that is root.sh
    Well, i ran the script with root user, and i get the below error. At the end i have uploaded the cluster install log aswell
    [root@node1 ~]# sh /u01/app/crs/root.sh

    The configuration assistant says

    The "/u01/app/crs/cfgtoollogs/configToolFailedCommands" script contains all commands that failed, were skipped or were cancelled. This file may be used to run these configuration assistants outside of OUI. Note that you may have to update this script with passwords (if any)efore executing the same.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

    I am wondering so as to what exactly is 6251, is this the port number for all the three nodes? Infact port numbers for the three nodes are something else. Should i attach those port numbers to the respective node names and run the failed commands individually??
    Here is the log file for the unsuccessful cluster install, i have uploaded
    http://stashbox.org/313748/installActions2008-12-04_01-05-26PM.log
    Any idea about this??

  • How to get the elements out of a for loop simultaneously during the loop execution

    Hi,
    I am student. I would like to know how to get the counter values outside the For loop parallely while the loop runs rather that getting the finally value outside the For loop. Looking forward for answers.
    Thanks,
    Athira
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    You could use a notifier (since it is a single value) or a reference (with a property node) to a control that gets the value elsewhere in another VI.
    If it is within the same VI, you could use a property node (right click > create > property node > value) from the control within the same VI located outside the loop.
    If you promiss NOT to abuse the use of Local Variables, you could use that to only write from ONE location within the For Loop to a control outside the loop, similar to the property node mentionned earlier.  (Of course, I will be struct by lightening for mentionning that and scolded by other LabVIEW coders for having a change of heart on the use of Locals....  Shivers are already crawling up my spine).
    You could use a queue, but that might be an overkill, unless:  the count is generated faster than it is being read elsewhere...
    As crossrulz mentionned, can you describe what you will be doing with the count?  Because synchronizing data (fresh / stale / etc) is very important within LabVIEW as it executes based on dataflow rather than a sequential order.
    Hope this helps.
    EDIT:
    You have not fully provided the answer.  We figured that much of your code from your description, but what is reading the value of the count?  Is it in a separate loop?  If not, it may only deal with the first value, which is likely 0.  The proper advice depends on how you process the received data (count).

  • Export txt file with all parameter values during the report execution

    Hello,
    I've developed one report in Report Builder 3.0 , report server being  SRSS 2008 R2. This report has one report parameter named id_product. There are two data sets available. One data set  is for populating the report table.  In the second
    data set I'm trying to export the id_product. The below query works fine only for single valued parameter id_product, this query being used in the second data set   Report pops-up an error when trying to run the report for multiple products at the same
    time. I looked in SQL Profiler and it seems like inserting the parameter values in the global temporary table is not possible using the current code.
    I'm aware of the VB Expression named Join but in such case I'm not sure if I can use it. It would be great if I can use this kind of expression. This way I would not create the data set anymore.
    Current query:
    drop table ##SelectedValuescreate table ##SelectedValues(id_product nvarchar(max))insert into ##SelectedValues(@id_product) exec xp_cmdshell 'bcp "select ''id_product'' union all select * from ##SelectedValues" queryout "G:\Report\sqloutput.csv" -c -T -t'
    Input: ProductId parameter values : 12, 16, 20
    Desired output in csv:
    id_product
    12
    16
    20

    Hi chopstix21,
    Just as you thought, we can use join function to insert the values from a multiple value parameter to a temp table with VB Expression. After testing it in my own environment, we can refer to the following steps:
    Create the second dataset using the query below:
    drop table ##SelectedValues
    create table ##SelectedValues(id_product nvarchar(max))
    insert into ##SelectedValues(‘1’)
    exec xp_cmdshell 'bcp "select ''id_product''
    union all select * from ##SelectedValues" queryout "G:\Report\sqloutput.csv" -c -T -t'
    Change the dataset using the expression like below:
    ="drop table ##SelectedValues"&
    "create table ##SelectedValues(id_product nvarchar(max))" &
    "insert into ##SelectedValues values (" & Join(Parameters! id_product.Value,"),(") &")" &
    "select * from ##SelectedValues"
    When we select 12, 16, 20 from parameter id_product, the second dataset will return 12, 16, 20 values as id_product field.
    If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
    Thanks,
