DBMS_XMLDOM - add namespaces attributes and prefix

Hi,
try to add a prefix and a namespace to the root node of an XML structure. Have tried the following code but i failed to add both.
XML-structure before:
<PERSON>
<NAME>something</NAME>
</PERSON>
XML-structure desired:
<pk:PERSON xmlns:pk="http://www.test.com">
<NAME>something</NAME>
</pk:PERSON>
Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • Web Service Tool - to add the attribute (to get a new TAG) for existing Obj

    Hi Gurus
    I have existing (productive) object name which we use for Letter Templates
    I need to add the new attribute but when I select it (highlight) the buttom below "Confirm selection" is not active, so when I got to "Maintain Attributes" I can't see my attribute there...
    Question is - how to do that?
    Do I need to got ot Settings first and make my WS "Not Productive" (what is the sequence)?
    Or I need to create a NEW web service (to re-place the current one) ?
    Thank you.

    hi There,
    Once the service is made Productive you can not make any changes.
    So first change it to non productive.
    Then add the attributes and again set it to productive.
    Hope this helps.

  • Extending VOs with attributes and creating new treetable columns

    Hi,
    I am relatively new to the ADF scene so please bear with if what I have in my mind is not even possible with ADF. I have searched hi and lo for a solution and now I thoughts it time to ask the community.
    Anyways this is what I want to do. I have a simple DB Table that has a hierarchy i.e Trees with roots much like the Employee hierarchy. Except this table has ids for items that come from external systems ( via Web Services in my case ) and / or ids to items in a table that resides in the local schema. So basically this structure table of mine only has relationships and the detail items need to be joined via an association ( in ADF terminology ) in the treetable component somehow.
    * Now creating the structure hierarchy is not a big issue. I have that part done already.
    * I have the VO from WS ready that gets the items that I might need to show as detail columns in the tree table.
    * Querying the local item Detail VO for detail rows might also be not that problematic.
    * Merging the above 2 columns to create a consolidated row set is also not that challenging whereby each column header is premapped to internal and external fields. This mapping is configurable to add more fields as required by a user to the treetable.
    What I am struggling with is that when I have this merged row set, how will I make it appear on the UI. The treetable seems to utterly not support this i.e. adding new columns at runtime. Following is what I have been able to establish till now.
    * The addDynamicAttribute methods on the View Object are not meant for this purpose. While they do add the attributes and you can set and get them after using this method, they do not render and I can't find a way to dynmically rendering them somehow for tree table.
    * Looked at the ADF dynamic components. They support only table and page. No go. Or do the whole tree thing somehow in the table component, Will look odd but might still work.
    * Looked at this article ( http://one-size-doesnt-fit-all.blogspot.com/2007/05/back-to-programming-programmatic-adf.html ) . I found a comment in the forum regarding this that this might not be all that efficient. Not to mention the fact that it uses the deprecated TreeModels class in 11g.
    ** Just regarding this apporach what are the new 11g recommended TreeModel classes to be used instead of the deprecated one. I have read the follow-up post but that just points to the location of where the deprecated classes moved to in 11g under the apache contribution. And makes the example work under 11g. What was this TreeModel class replaced with. Anyone knows ?
    ** How could I access my VO objects in the TreeTableApater ? Can I declare my merged View object wrapped in a TreeItem POJO object. Theoretically it is on the view layer right ?
    ** If this approach is inefficient has anyone another solution that might work ?
    Or just has anyone managed to extend the treetable in any different sort of way. Any tips/help pointers would be deeply appreciated.
    Best Regards,

    Hi,
    So I had some time to look at this problem again. I created a ChildPropertyTreeModel and binded it to my treetable component and moved the generation of the columns to the jspx page. I got it mostly working but the columns generation part mostly escapes me still.
    here is how the jspx page looks like that renders the treetable, and which works fine :
    <af:treeTable rowBandingInterval="0" id="dynTTbl" var="row" expandAllEnabled="true"
    binding="#{backingBeanScope.DynamicTreeTableBB.dynamicTreeTable}"
    value="#{backingBeanScope.DynamicTreeTableModel}">
    <f:facet name="nodeStamp">
    <af:column sortable="false" headerText="Node Stamp" id="c1">
    <af:outputText value="#{row.tableColumnVal[0]}" id="ot1"/>
    </af:column>
    </f:facet>
    <af:forEach begin="1" end="2" varStatus="status">
    <af:column>
    <f:facet name="header">
    <af:outputText value="#{status.index}"/>
    </f:facet>
    <af:inputText value="#{row.tableColumnVal[status.index]}"/>
    </af:column>
    </af:forEach>
    </af:treeTable>
    I want the forEach loop to look a bit differently like below :
    <af:forEach items="row.tableColumnVal" var="columnVal" varStatus="status">
    <af:column>
    <f:facet name="header">
    <af:outputText value="#{status.index}"/>
    </f:facet>
    <af:inputText value="#{columnVal}"/>
    </af:column>
    </af:forEach>
    This should work for a list or array but evidently in my case it is not. I have a suspicion that the "items" attribute is unable to recognize the row.tableColumnVal attribute of mine. I have no way of checking this out or finding out if I am doing something wrong.
    My sample project can be found here, if anyone quickly wants to run this on Jdev 11g
    http://rapidshare.com/files/438880281/TreeTableTest.zip
    P.S. I have tried to convert the tableColumnVal attribute to a List an array and a Map. The first forEach syntax works everytime but the second one fails always and I want the second one to work somehow.

    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "Parameters" AS OBJECT ("SYS_XDBPD$" "XDB"."XDB$RAW_LIST_T","Param1" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR),"NestedItems" "NestedItemsType")FINAL INSTANTIABLE
    I found that in order to build these types using constructors (to avoid PLS-00306: wrong number or types of arguments in call to 'NestedItemType'), that I needed to edit these types (drop the xdb magic):
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "NestedItemType" AS OBJECT ("nParam1" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR),"nParam2" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR),"nParam3" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR))FINAL INSTANTIABLE
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "NestedItemsType" AS OBJECT ("NestedItem" "NestedItemType")FINAL INSTANTIABLE
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "Parameters" AS OBJECT ("Param1" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR),"NestedItems" "NestedItemsType")FINAL INSTANTIABLE
    I read on the forums of a hack to get a namespace added in the output:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE "Parameters" AS OBJECT ("@xmlns" VARCHAR2(4000), -- namespace attribute HACK
                                                           "Param1" VARCHAR2(4000 CHAR),"NestedItems" "NestedItemsType")FINAL INSTANTIABLE
    Putting it all together, I have:
    DECLARE
      v_Parameters    "Parameters";
      v_xml           xmltype;
      v_print_output  clob;
    begin
      v_Parameters :=  "Parameters"('www.cognera.com',
                                    'hello',
                                  "NestedItemsType"("NestedItemType"('one',
                                                                 'two',
                                                                 'three'
      v_xml := xmltype(xmlData => v_Parameters);

            </NestedItem>
          </NestedItems>
        </Parameters>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    What I really want is:
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope" xmlns:c="www.cognera.com">
      <soap:Header/>
      <soap:Body>

          <c:Param1>hello</c:Param1>
          <c:NestedItems>
            <c:NestedItem>
              <c:nParam1>one</c:nParam1>
              <c:nParam2>two</c:nParam2>
              <c:nParam3>three</c:nParam3>
            </c:NestedItem>
          </c:NestedItems>
        </c:Parameters>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    How do I do this without having to programatically add the namespace using a custom XQuery function?

    See this similar thread, it should give you some better alternatives than the "@xmlns" hack :
    Add Namespaces via XQuery to an XML Instance
    For example :
    SQL> SELECT XMLSerialize(DOCUMENT
      2           XMLTransform(
      3             xmltype(
      4               "Parameters"('hello', "NestedItemsType"("NestedItemType"('one','two','three')))
      5             )
      6           , xmlparse(content
      7  '<xsl:stylesheet xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform" version="1.0">
      8    <xsl:output encoding="UTF-8" indent="yes" method="xml"/>
      9    <xsl:param name="ns"/>
    10    <xsl:template match="/">
    11      <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
    12        <soap:Header/>
    13          <soap:Body>
    14               <xsl:apply-templates select="*"/>
    15             </soap:Body>
    16         </soap:Envelope>
    17    </xsl:template>
    18    <xsl:template match="*">
    19      <xsl:element name="{local-name()}" namespace="{$ns}">
    20        <xsl:apply-templates select="@*|node()"/>
    21      </xsl:element>
    22    </xsl:template>
    23  </xsl:stylesheet>')
    24           , q'{ns="'www.cognera.com'"}'
    25           )
    26           INDENT
    27         ) AS "XSLT Output"
    28  FROM dual ;
    XSLT Output
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2003/05/soap-envelope">
      <soap:Header/>
      <soap:Body>
        <Parameters xmlns="www.cognera.com">
          <Param1>hello</Param1>
          <NestedItems>
            <NestedItem>
              <nParam1>one</nParam1>
              <nParam2>two</nParam2>
              <nParam3>three</nParam3>
            </NestedItem>
          </NestedItems>
        </Parameters>
      </soap:Body>
    </soap:Envelope>
    You can store the stylesheet in the XDB repository or in a table and access it using a DBUriType.
    It then provides a concise way to both add the namespace and wrap the payload in the envelope.

  • How to create a new cell attribute and add adorner to the cell

    Hi
    I am relatively new to InDesign and wanted to do the following
    I want to add a new boolean attribute to a selected table cell. When this attribute is set, I would want to draw one line vertical and one line across the selected cell ( kind of like a "Plus" sign over the cell). I am wondering how to go about doing this.
    PS: I read the snippet snpManipulateTableStyle and can see how to change a cell style using existing attribute (kcellAttrFillColorBoss). However in my case, i want to create a entirely new boolean attribute and based on it being true or false, I would want to draw the adornment on the cell
    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated..
    thanks!
    Sam

    I would create the new site first, then promote the new domain controllers and add them to the site. You can do this during the dc promote process.
    There's step by step guides already available for creating a site so I don't see any point reinventing one.
    Here's one:
    http://www.petri.co.il/create-active-directory-sites-windows-server.htm
    You may have to adjust the site links part since it looks like Site 3 will only be linked to Site 1.
    Of course, the IP addresses for the domain controllers in Site 3 have to be in the IP subnet configured for that site.
    Using the example above, you'll of course have to enter the information that makes sense for your netwrok.
    I doubt anyone will create a custom step by step for you using the information you provided  (they'd also have to know your subnets for one thing) but then, who knows.
    Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. That will encourage me - and others - to take time out to help you.

  • XML Payload does not have namespace and prefix.

    Hello
    I have created a consumer business service which will be called from JDEdwards EOne, pulls data from database and send it to Fusion Middleware.
    SO, I have created proxy using JAX-WS option. And suggested in oracle doc, I created proxy outside OMW and then copied it to my project. XML payload is getting generated without namespace and prefix. After some research, I modified package-info.java. Now, I am able to send the payload and if test it locally from Jdeveloper and take xml output using marshaller I can see it has namespace and prefix as well. BUt, when I run this from server it does not have namespace and prefix.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    Hi Naresh,
    The "rejectedMessage" property is for 10G, I am not 100% sure about its implementation in 11G.
    In 10G the faulted XML file moves to this location "Oracle_Home\bpel\domains\domain_name\jca\project_directory\rejectedMessages".
    This property is used to move the files which are not valid XML or which are not schema compliant. For DB polling I don't think this property is used.

  • PI 7.4 - AF_Modules/XMLAnonymizerBean - remove namespace and prefix

    Hi,
    In my receiver SOAP adapter I would like to remove the namespace and prefix. To do this I have configured the receiver SOAP adapter to include AF_Modules/XMLAnonymizerBean:
    The message log shows "Anonimizer: successfully anonymized" but when I look at the message payload (after message mapping) it still contains the namespace and prefix. Is this because message monitoring does not show the payload after the Anonimizer has been processed? Is it only possible to see the Anonimized payload at the receiver party?
    Thanks
    Che

    Hi Che,
    Yes, you can only see the final result at the receiver's side.
    What you can do is temporarily use a receiver file adapter and write an XML on disk to verify.
    Kind regards,
    Dimitri

    Just to clerify,
    The common complex types are StatusInfo, IdcProperty and IdcPropertyList. I ahve 3 more WSDL's with the exact same entires for those 3.

  • Delete namespace and prefix with Seeburger X.400 receiver

    Dear experts,
    I have a problem deleting a namespace and prefixes "ns0" from an XML output. When testing I was using an FTP receiver adapter with the AnonymizerBean which worked perfectly. I referred to: /people/stefan.grube/blog/2007/02/02/remove-namespace-prefix-or-change-xml-encoding-with-the-xmlanonymizerbean
    Now I have a Seeburger X.400 receiver adapter and the AnonymizerBean does not work anymore.
    The output message looks like this:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    <ns0:ORDERRESPONSE xmlns:ns0="http://www.opentrans.org/XMLSchema/1.0" version="1.0">
    <ns0:ORDERRESPONSE_HEADER>
    <ns0:ORDERRESPONSE_INFO>
    <ns0:ORDER_ID>xxxxx</ns0:ORDER_ID>
    So I need to get rid of the namespace and the prefixes "ns0". Does anyone know how to configure the module of the X.400 receiver adapter to do this?
    Thank you very much for your help!

    Anonymizer bean is stripping the namespace prefix ns1 but it is also stripping the address http://decisionintellect.com/inteport/.
    Below is my anonymizer bean config in PI:
    Processing seq:
    1                    AF_Modules/XMLAnonymizerBean               local enterprise bean            0
    Module config:
    0                   anonymizer.acceptNamespaces                    http://decisionintellect.com/inteport ''
    0                    anonymizer.quote                                          '
    Can someone please suggest how to keep the http://decisionintellect.com/inteport and remove rest of namespace prefixes

  • How can i add an custom attribute and assign it to an existing custom object class in sun ds

    I need to add an attribute to sun ds schema and assign it to an existing custom object class.
    I know how to add an attribute but how can i add the attribute to an existing custom object class.
    Please help.
    Thanks

    The objectclasses attribute is multi-valued, so you can add several values to it as long as they are unique.
    For instance, I think you can add several declaration of the same objectclass as below (note the difference is the number of spaces in the value) howewer, from a schema perspective, only 1 will be taken into account:
    objectclasses: ( 2.5.6.6 NAME 'person' DESC 'Standard LDAP objectclass' SUP top MUST ( sn $ cn ) MAY ( description $ seeAlso $ telephoneNumber $ userPassword $ CustomAttr) X-ORIGIN 'RFC 2256' )
    objectclasses: ( 2.5.6.6 NAME   'person' DESC 'Standard LDAP objectclass' SUP top MUST ( sn $ cn ) MAY ( description $ seeAlso $ telephoneNumber $ userPassword $ CustomAttr) X-ORIGIN 'RFC 2256    ' )
    That's the reason why it is safe to delete previous value if you want to update an existing objectclass. No problem to add a new objectclass (new oid and new name) to the schema.

  • Add attributes and rename the attributes according to the need

    I am a new developer to jdev, I need more help.
    I design a salary db, the attributes are employee_id,employee_name,pay_type1,
    pay_type2,pay_type3,pay_type4,pay_type5,...
    Now salary kind is only pay_type1, so in view we only select emplyee_id,
    employee_name and pay_type1 from entity.
    After some time, company decide to add new salary kind, for example travelling allowance. After adding this new attribute name: trave_allowance, pay_type2 is selected form entity and renamed trave_allowance . From then on
    in browse.jsp employee_id, employee_name,pay_type1 and trave_allowance should
    been show.
    I think the new attribute names can be received from name_adding.jsp
    then according to the number of new name, we can select attributes from entity in view and replace attributes which are selected by new names.
    But I do not know how to pragramme.
    Please do give the detail or other design ideas.
    Thanks in advance!

    You can edit your VO and add additional attributes to it.
    If you have designed your JSP page to iterate over the attributes of the VO in a generic way, your page should immediately show the new attributes.
    If you have a JSP page that hard-codes references to your VO attributes, you'll need to add a few new tags to the page to see your new attributes.

  • Report Attributes: Add column link and derived column

    On the Report Attributes page (4000:420), under the Tasks list on the right side of the page, there are 2 links, "Add column link" and "Add derived column". This is the first time I am noticing them.
    The usage is clear, they add columns to the report to function either as a drill-thru link column or just a read-only derived field.
    Doing it this way does NOT modify the source query for the report region.
    Is there any benefit to using this feature versus adding a "null column_link" or "null derived_col" columns to my source query then setting attributes for those columns?
    Thanks

    Well, one disadvantage I can see of using the 'Add Column link' is that if I have more than 1 of such columns, they all show up as '[column link]' on the Report Attributes page with no way to tell what the underlying links are. Instead, if I were to manually add these dummy columns to my query itself, I would give them meaningful column aliases that indicated where they link to.
    Suggestion: Maybe a tooltip could be added to the Report Attributes page for such columns which indicate what the underlying link is without actually going to the Edit page for that column.
    Thanks

  • IFSMGR - Unable to add Extended Attributes to Folder and PublicObject in IFS 1.1.9

    Hi,
    I am using IFS-1.1.9 version and trying to add Extended attributes to PublicObject and Folder in IFSMGR.IFSMGR does not allow be to do this it turns the ADD button grey.
    Is there any way I can do this?
    Thanks,
    Hima

    Hi,
    Whatever steps you have done seems to be correct for adding an UDF in Create User page. If the UDF is not displayed, then refresh the content by clicking the refresh icon at the top right hand corner of the dialog box while selecting Add Content -> "Data component - catalog" -> userVO. Also I would suggest you to give an unique name while creating the UDF using form designer in sysadmin console. Try it again and it should work.
    In worst case try the below steps
    1. Create and activate a Sandbox.
    2. On the left nav pane, expand Upgrade and click on link Upgrade User Form.
    3. On the page that opens, the table will display all your UDFs. Click Upgrade Now and wait for completion.
    4. Export(recommended) and Publish the sandbox.
    After that create another sandbox in identity console,create sandbox, click on customize and after that try following the same process of adding from userVO

    I am not sure what's happening with IE9 (no live site) but I had real problems viewing your code in Live View - until I removed the HTML comment marked below. Basically your site was viewable in Design View but as soon a I hit Live view, it disappeared - much like IE9. See if removing the comment solves your issue.
