How to de-activate a particular field of an infotype?
hi,
you can de-activate an field by using screen modification , procedure follows,
1, call the infotype in which you want to make the field de-activate
2 press F1 (help) button on that particular field and you find the another screen ,
3, note the module pool program name and screen number,
4, go to IMG path
5, go to personnel management,
.............. personnel administration
...........costomizing procedures

screen modification
find the screen and program on which you note, click the redio button to de-activate and save it,

Filling Activity fields from the Interactive Script WinClient
Hi Experts,
I am working with Interactive Scripting (CRMM_TM_SCRIPT) and I already defined my interactive script. I am also creating Activities after I finish with the Script in order to register a case. I am doing this by defining an Action Type CIC-AB which calls an Action Box in the Interaction Center WinClient. In the Action field I define the name of the Activity I want to call from the Action Box of the Interaction Center.
When the Agent receives a call, he navigates in the Interactive Script in order to clasify the case he is treating. At the end of the Script, the case needs to be register following the clasification made by the Agent, and thats why we are calling an Activity. The thing is that we dont want the Agent to fill again the information he just defined in the Script in the Activiy, so we want to fill certain fields of the Activiy I am calling with Information of the Interactive Script I used before, in order to save time to the Agent that Register the Case.
Can anyome shed some light on this issue?

You can create an activity.i.e., you can create an Order from the Interactive Script if you already created the Script structurethen follow the below steps

T-Code: EWFC0
Path: SPROIMGCustomer Relationship ManagementCustomer Interaction CenterVisible ComponentsAction Box SettingsDefine Configuration Profile for Action Box.
1. Choose F4 help to select one of the Action Box profiles you have created and you want to adapt and choose change.
2. Mark the Action box Configuration and create a new Action Box Group by choosing Create transaction group.
Enter a group ID, description and icon for the new transaction group and choose Continue.
3. Mark the new transaction group and create a new Action Box transaction by choosing Create transaction.
4. Enter a transaction ID.
5. Enter a Transaction Definition section, select Workspace.
6. In the Transaction Definition section, select Workspace.
Two additional fields will appear.
7 Choose F4 in the Workspace field to select the Script.
8. Choose F4 in the profile field to select the Interactive Scripting profile that you created in the previous steps above.
9. Enter a Slot Name if desired.
10. Choose Continue.
You are automatically taken to the Maintain Data Flow screen .No data flow parameters need to be maintained for the Interactive Scripting workspace.
11. Choose Back.
12 Choose Save.
Note: Since Only Workspace of this type can be open at once, you will need to close the Automatically Created Interactive Scripting Workspace before launching the Interactive Scripting Action Box call.

Filling Activity fields in the Interactive Script in the IC WinClient

My question is how to pass parameters between two workspaces. More specifically between the workspace of the Interactive Script WinClient and the workspace Activity.
The thing is that after i finish navigating in the script, i need to call an activity, which is working good. However what i want is to fill some fields of the activity i am calling with information coming from the script
Can anyone help me on this issue?.

Lina is right SAP supports JRE 1.4.2, I also had similar problem however please see what version of JRE are you using. If you are using anything below JRE 1.4.2 you could probably upgrade to JRE 1.4.2. If you are using anything above JRE1.4.2 you may not be able to downgrade. In that case you could probabaly upgrade to 1.6.0. I could do all the functions in Interactive Script Editor with 1.6.0 except assigning Script to Script profile and you could do that alternatively through SPRO. One of my colleague had JRE 1.5 and was facing some issues. Secondly, Interactive Script Editor takes a while to populate therefore be a bit patient.
To know which version of Java is installed on your local machine Click on Tools -> Sun Java Console.

Enhancement Adding a new field to a infotype
We are implementing E-Recruiting and trying to a new field to a existing infotype 5107. On the E-Recruiting page there are three frield that already exist. Country, State and City these field also in infotype 5107 too. Country and State both are dropdown box. I have to set the default value for Country to 'USA' and State to 'AZ' where can i set this? The new field will display location "county" which the user will be able to select multiple locations. I know i would have to go PM01 to add the new field to the infotype 5107. But i'm missing the third that will allow me to do this. There's IT, IT Version, IT (i don't have this on my SAP Gui). I'm not sure what to do next after I created this new field. how can put this new field this the E-recruiting webpage?

You can enhance your infotype 5107 from tcode 'PPCI' not 'PM01'.

Infotype screen headers needs to be changed for all the infotypes
Hi Guys,
This would be for a global implementation question.
For the US for a particular region, the screen header needs to be changed for all the infotypes.
The existing field (in the infotype header) is Employee Group which needs to be replaced with employment status.
The know how to change the headers but my question is STAT2 exists in IT 0000 but does not exist in 0001, 0002 0007.........etc
When i go to Table T588J to add an entry , Screen Header 42......,
I get an error " No Field STAT2 exists for infotype 0001"
No field STAT2 exists for infotype 0001.
Message no. PG811
Diagnosis
No STAT2 field exists for infotype 0001.

Correct me if I am wrong.
First you need to maintain the header in T588J.
Screen header of an infotype is defined in view V_582A_B. We can define one screen header for employee and another for applicant in view V_T588I. The header modifier selected from view V_T588I has a definition in table T588J, which finally gets shown on the screen.
Depending on the transaction class (A = Personnel Administration, B = Recruitment) and the country grouping, a header modifier is assigned to the infotype header in the u201CHeader Modificationu201D view V_T588I.
For example like
Screen Header / Tr. Class / Header modifier
00 / A / 60
In the view u201CHeader Structure per Infotypeu201D (V_582A_B), a header has been assigned to every infotype. It also determines whether the data is valid from the system date or the start date of the infotype record

How to know if a date was modified in the infotype 0041

I have to validate if there was a modification in a date in the infotype 0041. The problem is when you change the value, I can't see in the table the way to know if it was modified.

If you need to check it fieldwise then you can go for RPUAUD00 report which read data from PCL4 cluster.
to get the data out of Below tables RPUAUD00 has to be configured

How to add a Field to the Result List in Activity
Hello Experts !
We are on CRM 7.0. I want to add a field to the Result List of Activity (Component: BT126S_APPT / View: ApptSR). This field is the address of the "Employee Responsible".
So, how can I add a field to the Result List? AET is not a relevant tool for us because we don't want to create an attribute it already exist in the BOL. We just have to enhance the result list with BOL existing attributes.
Also, after I add the field, I will need to populate my field with Data via some method.

The component was missing some technical data. Implement sap notes 1226612, 1363752, and then follow the manual procedure shown below.
u2022 Execute transaction SE11.
u2022 Choose the Radio button "Data Type" and enter value
"CRMST_QUERY_R_ACT_BTIL" in the Data Type field.
u2022 Click on "Change" button.
u2022 Position the cursor before the Includes added to this structure. Click
On the "+" button to add a new attribute.
u2022 Enter the following details in the newly added blank row.
Component: PERSON_RESP_LIST
Component Type: CRMT_PERSON_RESP_LIST.
u2022 Save the changes and activate the structure.
u2022 Add the "Employee Responsible" field to the View configuration.
u2022 Open the BSP application BT126S_APPT.
u2022 Double-click on the view BT126S_APPT/ApptSR in the left side panel.
u2022 Choose tab "Configuration" in right side panel.
u2022 Choose the right configuration by using the "Choose Configuration" button.
u2022 Click on the Edit button.
u2022 Add the "Employee Responsible" attribute from the "Available fields" list to "Displayed fields" list.
u2022 Save the changes

SPM 5.2 - problem with reason/activity fields - not showing in the report
Dear experts,
I have a situation that is hard to describe.
We have SPM 5.2 - all set and working, now the problem is that for some of the FF sessions the tool is either not reporting the reason/activity fields (due to some technical problem that is occuring randomly) or the users have found a way to abuse the fields and make thier way around them. (these fields are very important for our SOX controls)
I have created test users to see how they are entering without filling the reason/activity fields, but no luck - i couldnt enter.
As you know the Activity field is mandatory text field and at least one character must be entered, but I don`t think this is the workaround, because even if you put space the report still will show it. I have examples where the report is not showing anything.
The worst is that I can`t simulate such cases.
Have you ever heard of such nosense?

IliyaI think I found it - Application deficiency. It is the language that you are logged with. If it is not English the application is not recording the text that you type in the reason/activity fields upon FF session.
I hope the latest patches are fixing this!

When I try to convert my .pdf to Word, I get a sidebar that has fields for: the name of my pdf file, the type of file I want to convert to (In my case, Word), and a button that says "Convert". My problem is that the "convert to" field isn't active. I can see the words "Microsoft Word" in pale gray, but when I click on the field, nothing happens.

Digitally Sign All Signature Fields in the Active Document
I have a script which will sign a single digital signature field by the field name.
I need to revise the script so it will sign multiple/all signature fields in the active document without having to put the field name in the script, as the field names will vary with each document.
Can anyone please advise how to modify the script to sign all fields in the active document regardless of the field name?

Ribbon Button activating when a field in the Document / List item metadata = 'Yes'
Im hoping this is an easy answer as Im sure it must be, but my mind has gone blank!
Basically I have created a button to run some javascript code to fire a custom (manual) workflow on an item that is selected in a Document Library (or List)
I have set the ribbon button to only be active IF one item is selected in the Library but what I want now is to only activate the ribbon button if one item is selected AND IF a specific field in the item = 'Yes' (The field in this case being called 'DraftDoc'
[Choice field]).
Ive tried a few methods but none seem to work and VS2012 errors on debugging.
My code to enable the button so far is:

According to your description, you have been able to set the ribbon button to be actived if one item is selected. Now, you want to activate the ribbon button if there is one
item selected and the value of "DraftDoc" column is "Yes".
We can achieve it by getting the value of this "DraftDoc" column of the selected item to check whether it is "Yes".
