Deactivate Opportunity from activity

Hi Forum,
I have a requirement where I have to restrict the user <i><b>not to create opportunity from activity transaction</b></i>.He has to create and process Opportunity only from Lead.
So please guide how I can hide opportunity as a follow-up transaction from Activity.

Hi Sridhar,
There are two ways to do this,
1 ) DOnt create follow up transaction settings from Activity to Opportunity
2) If you already have a setting delete the settings, Go to copy control for transactions in IMG and go to the record where it says 0001 to oppt or any other copy control settings from activty to oppt.. higlight the same and say delete
you should be good to go

My client requirement is such that all the data under tab Additional Data B in transaction activity should be copied to opportunity when you create it as follow up document.Can anyone help me implement this copying control?

Hi Radek,
The Badi does not get called since any follow ups from activity does not require any copy control settings in SPRO.
As you must be aware, that this Badi is filter dependent and the filter which is called the copy routine is assigned in the customization of Copy Control for transaction type.
You can try using the CRMD_ORDERADM_H_BADI

You can deactivate a cube by deactivating one of the infoobject in it:
select one of the char in the cube
menu option Extras/Unlock infoobjects
The system will offer you to delete the cube content.
If you agreed, the cube becomes inactive.

Texts from Activity to Subsequent Transactions

Subsequent transaction can either be a Lead or Opportunity or Activity itself.
Activity and Lead transactions have different Text Det Procedures with different Text Types.
Requirement is Text should get transferred from one Text Type of Activity to another Text Type of Subsequent Transactions.
Can someone guide..immediately.

hi venkat
depending upon your requirement i will advise you to use
access sequence for text description instead of action
because using the action you can create follow up transaction type
and yes this requirement is easily possible too .
for example your original trsanction is Lead and using qulaification levels in conditrions you can trigger any follow up transaction
like ig qulaification level is cold then activity is triggered,your requirement is also same.
but still it will get complex using the action
so try using access sequence for text determination.

Great details, but what I don't see is how you connect in RMAN.
Example

Generally for active duplication I start the future standby on a pfile NOMOUNT.
Auxiliary Instance Initialization Parameters Needed :

CONTROL_FILES
DB_BLOCK_SIZE
( add extra parameters like DB_FILE_NAME_CONVERT and LOG_FILE_NAME_CONVERT instead of using the SET command - clean up standby spfile right after duplication )
Then start RMAN and finally run a single line duplication command.
$ORACLE_HOME/bin/rman target=sys/@primary auxiliary=sys/@standby

How do I get info from Active Directory and use it in my web-applications?

I borrowed a nice piece of code for JNDI hits against Active Directory from this website: http://www.sbfsbo.com/mike/JndiTutorial/
I have altered it and am trying to use it to retrieve info from our Active Directory Server.
I altered it to point to my domain, and I want to retrieve a person's full name(CN), e-mail address and their work location.
I've looked at lots of examples, I've tried lots of things, but I'm really missing something. I'm new to Java, new to JNDI, new to LDAP, new to AD and new to Tomcat. Any help would be so appreciated.

By this time you probably have already solved this, but I think the problem is that the Search Base is relative to the attachment point specified with the PROVIDER_URL. Since you already specified "DC=mycomp,DC=isd" in that location, you merely want to set the search base to "". The error message is trying to tell you that it could only find half of the "DC=mycomp, DC=isd, DC=mycomp, DC=isd" that you specified for the search base.

I can login with the these AD users and AD direct import is working just fine. We are not using UPS.
With admin user when I click on the user it shows up proper data. But when I login with the same user it does not show me userdisplay/useredit and shows blank data. Also another strange thing is when I add new item in list with these AD users created by
modified by is blank and its really strange. I checked user information list, tried to rerun user sync with direct AD import option but no success.

According to your description, my understanding is that the page is blank when the use accessed /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx and the created by field was blank when the user created a new list item in SharePoint 2013.
I tested the same scenario per your post, however I cannot reproduce your issue.
For troubleshooting this issue, I recommend to verify the things below:
Check the permission of the user in the corresponding site collection to see if he can access /_layouts/15/userdisp.aspx.
Delete the user from AD and SharePoint, then re-add the user to AD and grant proper permission to the user in SharePoint to see if the issue still occurs.
Did this issue occur with all the users? Add a new user in AD and test the same scenario.

for this I am using TXN 'CRMD_BUS2000112'. using transaction type 'ISU service quotation'. now after processing it ...I want to check whether quotation data has been transferred to oportunity or not...How to do that.I don't know where to check it and using which ID....

Hi Sushant,
To check whether the quotation data is copied to opportunity, open the quotation you created and go to the document flow. Open the opportunity from there and see the header and item data is copied to opportunity from the quotation you created. If this has not happened then you have check your copy control for the transaction types you have created.
