  • Redraw issues when compile for Air

This is about redraw issues which occur in Flash, when I try to compile a file in Air 2.6. The initial files were built in inDesign CS5.5, saved as a FLA, and opened in Flash CS5.5.
I created a test file in inDesign to be used as an Air App, as I saw discussed and done on several videos on Adobe.tv. The file has 3 pages. The pages are pretty simple. Though there are some  clipping paths and animation.
    Here are the steps:
    1.
I ported the filed to Flash, as a FLA.
    2.
I opened the FLA in Flash, and added some more animation.
I added simple code so the file will go from frame to frame, (what were the pages in inDesisgn), on mouse click in the frame.
    3.
If I complie it is Flash, it works.
    4.
If I compile it in Air, which I want to do, when it gets to the last page, it starts to have redraw-issues.
When  the user clicks on page/frame 3, (the last page), there is AS3 code,  a gotoAndStop(), which normally  takes the user back to frame 1. But in Air, the user gets to page one,  but only sees page 3, thinking they are on page 3, as the redraw of page 1 never occurs. I tested this very  carefully, by rebuilding the whole thing and removing every element and all code and starting over piece by piece to isolate the issue.
    5.
The  issue seems to be, if I remove all the pagespreads from inDesign, which the FLA transformed into "movieclips" in Flash, it works fine without redraw issues. If I  add any of the pagespread movieclips to a frame in the Flash file, as they were when  imported, the redraw issue occurs, but only when I compile in Air.
Have  you heard of this before? I was wondering if there might be some  settting in Air that is conflicting with the inDesign created pages which are now movieclips in Flash. I am hoping there is something that I can do to  fix it, as I would like to continue to create the spreads in inDesign.
I  am working on a PC in Windows Vista. I wondered if this was the issue  as well. I can share the file if you want to see it, compiled in flash,  and compiled in Air or the FLA.
    Thanks very much,
    e

I fixed it. it was not the code. it was the use of text. This time  when exporting to an FLA from indesign, I  turned the TLF text to pixels, and now it compiles  fine. I isolated the problem by dismantling each item in the indesign  spread, and seeing when the problem occured. once I removed the type, it  had no issues. I was using hanging indents. Maybe that was the issue.  All I know is once I turned off the TLF text option, there are no  problems. It is sad to lose that feature. but at least it works, and I  would rather have my type look well formatted with hanging intents, and  correct kearning, even if i have to rasterize it first.
    geez. that was fun.

I think the links i gave before about "patching" only one line of git source code to allow build/compile the source for 32bit processors, won't apply exactly here, because the code has evolved and is not the same. But possible that it can continue to be as simple as reported by the articles pointed above, to compile the source code on 32 bit architecture.
When searching into the git clone directory from which executed file came the WARNING message - short output pasted below but i also gave the full output before -  printed on the output, i saw that it was coming from the file  ./src/docker/hack/make.sh

  • Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError when compile class in Weblogic Linux Env.

    Hi,
I'm trying jay article ( http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/2009/08/17/mdb3-0-sample-for-weblogic-application-server/ ) for send message
to JMS, it works great in windows but in Linux is failed.
I’m facing the issue when compile QueueSend class linux environment,
    but windows it works great.
in windows I compile the class like this :
    C:\bea\user_projects\domains\MyDomain\bin>setDomainEnv.cmd
    C:\bea\user_projects\domains\MyDomain>java QueueSend t3://localhost:7001
JMS Message Sent: Test Message Body with counter = 0
JMS Message Sent: Test Message Body with counter = 1
    in Linux :
    after ./setDomainEnv,
    $bea\…\MYDOMAIN\bin >java QueueSend t3://localhost:7001
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/jms/Message
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: javax.jms.Message
    at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(Unknown Source)
    at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method)
    at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(Unknown Source)
I think it cannot find the java_home or classpath properly, how to solve this issue?
    Really thanks in advance.
Edited by: muhkah on 09-Apr-2010 19:58

    Hi Muhkah,
Please add the *"<BEA_HOME>\modules\javax.jms_1.1.1.jar"* file also in the Client ClassPath.
But the Best thing i will suggest it to Just add the "wlfullClient.jar" file in the client ClassPath...this is a very useful Jar file which solves many many issues. There is a very simple way to create this JAR file: http://jaysensharma.wordpress.com/2010/02/03/building-wlfullclient-jar/
    <BR>
The advantage of using *"wlfullclient.jar"* is Just Make it once and then reuse this single Jar in any client Application which is going to interact with WebLogic. This Powerful Jar contains almost all the Classes which is needed by a Client.
Now you can run your Client Program like this :
    java    -classpath    /app/bea10.3/wl_server/server/lib/wlfullclient.jar    QueueSend t3://localhost:7001
    Thanks

  • Incorrect ADT version when compiling using updated AIR SDK in Flash Builder

I was wondering if anyone else has come across adt version issues when compiling with Flash Builder.
I just downloaded Flash Builder 4.7 (I had 4.6 installed previously).  I upgraded due to AIR SDK issues when trying to send my app to iOS.  I downloaded AIR 3.7 SDK and done the whole "overlay" described here http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-builder/kb/overlay-air-sdk-flash-builder.html but when trying to compile it Flash Builder, it states that version 3.7 is not only up to 3.1  I did a check of the adt that is being used (adt -version) and it returns back that it is version 3.1  This is the one contained within the sdks/4.6.0/lib folder.  If I copy the one from the AIRSDK folder and check the version on that 3.7 comes up correctly, but it needs files that are contained in the AIRSDK folder, so I'll need to copy more than just the adt.jar file.
Really I'm just trying to see if anyone knows what I can change in Flash Builder to point to the AIRSDK folder instead of the sdks/4.6.0/lib folder so I'm not constantly updating my adt.jar file each time I install a new AIR SDK.

OK, not the best solution (hopefully someone will be able to tell me where to update Flash Builder to point to the AIRSDK directory instead of {FB install dir}/sdks/4.6.0/lib, but until then, here's a work around.
First make sure to backup your old aot and android directories in your {FB install dir}/sdks/4.6.0/lib and your original adt file (I just renamed them to fileOrDir_original)
Then copy your adt.jar file, aot dir, android dir, and I copied legacy dir also to your {FB install dir}/sdks/4.6.0/lib
You should now be able to compile using the 3.7 AIR SDK.  There's another fix for PIE in AIR 3.8, so I may be updating again soon to the labs build.  I'm hesitant to copy any more files over in case it stops my non-mobile AIR builds from working, but hopefully this will be good enough for mobile builds and for anyone else having this issue in Flash Builder.

  • Error when compile linux-selinux

I got this issue when compiling linux-selinux 3.4.5-1:
mkdir: cannot create directory /tmp/yaourt-tmp-user/aur-linux-selinux/pkg/linux-selinux/usr: File exists
    ==> ERROR: A failure occurred in package_linux_selinux().
    Aborting...
==>ERROR: Makepkg was unable to build linux-selinux
    ==>Restart....
    any suggestion?

Hm maybe you should delete this directory?? Seems like you have tried to build it before and the build was aborted, leaving the directory. Just clean your /tmp (easiest way: reboot) and try to build it again and check if you get the same or different error messages.

  • Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved but cannot be run.

    Greetings All,
I am having issues with a SharePoint Designer workflow.  This is a SharePoint 2013 environment, I'm using SharePoint Designer 2013 and working on a SharePoint 2010 workflow.  I'm developing this as a SharePoint 2010 workflow because I need to do
    impersonation.
The environment and workflow have been running, in the past week, without issue.  I went to add a couple steps and now I cannot publish the workflow.  While in SharePoint Designer, I receive the error:
"Errors were found when compiling the workflow.  The workflow files were saved but cannot be run."  When I click the Advanced button on the error dialog, the message is "Unexpected error on server associating the workflow."
That is all the error information I have available; nothing is in the log files.
I have investigated this error and tried the following:
    Cleared the SharePoint Designer cache.
The WebApp.UserDefinedWorkflowMaximumComplexity was at 7000 so I increased it to 10000.  Restarted the servers (which may not have been necessary) and tried again receiving the same error.  I then increased it to 30000 with the same error result.
Since this is a large workflow, I tried created a workflow with a single action, write to workflow log, with the same error results.
I reboot the servers and try again and now I can publish the small test workflow but not the original.  However, neither will run.  When I attempt to manually run the small test workflow on an item, I get an error: "Sorry something went wrong.
An unexpected error occurs.  I checked the log files for the correlation id and nothing, nothing was logged for the error. ~arg~
Also, now no workflows can be published in this web app.  Not just the one I was working on but none of them!
Does anyone have a clue what has happened to the SharePoint 2010 workflow service?  Or some suggestions for me to try?
Thank you in advance for your help!

    Hi Sagar,
I appreciate it but if you see my original post, this is a SharePoint 2010 workflow that cannot be published; which has now caused all SharePoint 2010 workflows in the same web app to error.
Your first link is specific to SharePoint 2013 workflows.
Your second link refers to the UserDefinedWorkflowMaximumComplexity.  If you read my original post, I've already tried this and I've tried to publish a small (single activity) workflow.
Your third link also refers to large workflows with many approval activities.  My workflow doesn't contain any approval activities.
And you fourth link refers to 2013 workflows not 2010.
My issue is with publishing and running a SharePoint 2010 workflow in SharePoint 2013.
    Thank you...

Error message when compiling book "file is corrupt" referring to a photo.  Or "cannot find original photo".  Can you use photos that have been "edited" out of "Book Mode"?

I did copy it to my desktop, but it still won't let me open it.  I think the file on the disc might be corrupt or something like that though the cd itself checks out fine as far as viruses go.  I was able to verify the disc, but that's about it.  My husband tried it on his iMac and we have the same issue.  It's unzipping the folder, but won't let us open the folder on both the Mac Book Pro or the iMac by double clicking, going to file/open or right clicking.  It just keeps saying the same message as I posted above.  I think I'm just going to have the client put the pictures on either a memory card or a USB memory stick so she won't have to compress the files for zipping purposes.  It's been too frustrating trying to open this folder on this cd she gave me.  She said she created/zipped the cd on her Mac Book Pro but it sure won't open on mine.

  • Deadlock issue in Oracle 10g Partitioned Tables

    Hi ALL,
I am facing an issue of Deadlock while inserting data into a partitioned table.
I get an error "ORA-00600: Deadlock detected". when i see the trace files, following lines are appearing in them:
"Single resource deadlock: blocking enqueue which blocks itself".
Here is the detail of my test case:
    1. I have a list-partitioned table, with partitioning defined on some business codes.
    2. I have a query that merges data into partitioned table (actually compares unique keys between temporary table and partitioned table and then issue an insert if keys not matched, no update part).
    3. The temporary table contains transactional data against many business codes.
    3. when calling the above query from multiple (PL/SQL) sessions, i observe that when we merge data in same partition (from different sessions) than deadlock issue occurs, otherwise it is OK.
    4. Note that all sessions are executed at same time. Also note that Commit is called after each session is completed. Each session contains 2-3 more queries after the mentioned merge statement.
Is there an issue with oracle merge/insert on same partition (from different sessions)? What is the locking mechanism for this particular case (partitioned tables)?
My oracle version is Oracle 10g (10.2.0.4). Kindly advice.
    Thanks,
    QQ.

Could you print the deadlock tree so we can see the type and mode of the locking. (Please use the 'code' tags - see FAQ at top right of screen - to showthe output in fixed font). can you list any SQL operated by this session that gets reported in the trace file.
Does the table reference itself in a foreign key.
Is this table involved in any referential integrity constraints.
Do you have a global primary key index, or a local primary key index ?
Are there any triggers on the table - if so do they contain autonomous transactions.
At present the only though that springs to mind is that the merge command has to lock the target table to do the insert/update, but it also has to lock any child table. The mode of the child lock depends on whether it has a suitable index or not, and whether the child table IS also the parent table. If you have two merges to the same partition one partition may get its locks, and the other partition may be in a state where it can't get one of the locks because it's wait for the other. (This shouldn't be a self-deadlock, though, but the scenario might be heading in the right direction for a self-deadlock).

  • Errors were found when compiling workflow in SharePoint Designer 2010

    Hello there,
I've run into a interesting issue in SharePoint Designer 2010 when publishing a workflow. I now get the below error
Normally when I get this message I simply clear the SharePoint Designer 2010 cache described in this
article, however, in this case the issue still continued. Hence I started the process of trial and error and quickly realized that the Update Item action was the culprit. In this action I am updating approximately 70 columns. Currently, I have two such
actions running in sequence. When I added the third Update Item action to do the same, I started getting this error.
Has anyone else experienced this before? In the workflow I am currently working on I am going to have to using the Update Item action several times and update approximately 70 columns hence I am open to other ideas to do the same.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Entan Ming,
Thanks for your reply, Hope you are aware that while we create any new workflow using SharePoint Designer 2013. There are two ways (We can say Platforms) to create the new workflow 1. SharePoint
    2010 and 2. SharePoint 2013.
If I choose second one I. e SharePoint 2013, and try to create, save and publish workflow it`s working fine. But whenever I select option no. 1  i.e. SharePoint 2010  Platform to create
the workflow, I am able to Create it , save it , but while I try to publish it I got an error:
Errors were found when compiling the workflow. The workflow files were saved but cannot be run.
When I click on Advance I got message:
Unexpected error on server associating the workflow
My question is that, I am not able to publish any workflow in SharePoint 2010 Platform, using SharePoint Designer 2013.
Before publishing a workflow, I click on ‘Check for errors’ button, there was no any error found.
Thanks & Regards Mr. Bajirao Shinde

  • Strange error message when compiling an IPA ("multiple L$start$ labels found at same address in...")

I get this message when compiling an IPA with AIR 3.6:
ld: warning: multiple L$start$ labels found at same address in __ZN9NetStream12DispatchProcEP10NativeInfo at offset 0x06C0
Googling a bit, it seems it's an error message from this C++ class:
    http://opensource.apple.com/source/ld64/ld64-133.3/src/ld/LinkEdit.hpp
So I suppose it's a bug in the AIR for iOS compiler. Any clues about why am I getting that warning message?

I've been getting this message for quite a while, but I think a fix will soon be needed. I got the following message from Apple:

  • SSIS Execute SQL Task using sp_rename giving deadlock issues

    All,
We have a job that has 2 steps and both of those steps call an SSIS package
1st package - Loads the data from a SQL server source, to a SQL Server destination tables, say, "TblHistory" is one of them
2nd package - It does a re-name from the History table to the Main table, so below, is how the code looks like in the execute SQL Task:
    BEGIN TRANSACTION
    EXECUTE sp_rename 'dbo.Tbl', 'TblOld'
    EXECUTE sp_rename N'dbo.TblOld.PK_TblId', N'PK_TblIdOld', N'INDEX'
    EXECUTE sp_rename 'dbo.TblHistory', 'Tbl'
    EXECUTE sp_rename N'dbo.Tbl.PK_TblHistoryId', N'PK_TblId', N'INDEX'
    EXECUTE sp_rename 'dbo.TblOld', 'TblHistory'
    EXECUTE sp_rename N'dbo.TblHistory.PK_TblIdOld', N'PK_TblHistoryId', N'INDEX'
    COMMIT TRANSACTION
In package 1 there are multiple history tables that are being loaded and most of them get renamed in the 2nd package. There is a separate SQL task for each of the history tables. The problem that I am running in to are the deadlock issues. When the 2nd package
    runs, it throws this error:
"SQL - Table Rename & Swap for "Tbl" Execute SQL Task     Description: Executing the query "BEGIN TRANSACTION     EXECUTE sp_rename Tbl..." failed with the following error: "Transaction
(Process ID 60) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim."
It's giving me a deadlock issue on the other tasks as well. So, when the job ran today, I am noticing 4 deadlock errors on the 4 different execute SQL tasks in the 2nd package (i.e. the job fails at 2nd step)
Has anyone faced this scenario before?

Why renaming tables? The data do not change. So just load the data to an interim table and push it to the target or may be you do not need it at all - just load the right table.
I admit I fail to capture the overall picture of what you are trying to solve or deliver. But renaming tables is something not usual.
