Deauthorizing old macs

My problem is this.
I currently run iTunes on my main machine, a 17inch iMac.
Somehow I've accumulated 2 maybe three other authorized macs I used to own on my iTunes music store account. How can I either delete these "former" authorized macs from my account OR wipe out all the authorized macs and reauthorize my current main machine?

I had problems with this recently.
The hard drive in my old 12" powerbook died, and I had to ask Apple Customer care to deauthorize all my computers so I could reauthorize the 12" powerbook with the replaced hard drive.
On the Apple support site http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/authorization/ is a secret link, labeled "Review Authorization Count" (itms://phobos.apple.com/accountSummary)
It opens the 'Account Info', shows the number of authorized machines. It also fixed the authorization. I don't know how, but I can play my purchased music again.
I saved this link in case this happens again.
Hint: Backup your music before this happens to you again.
