Debug Mode Frame Server Problem

If I start a new project and sequence I can go to 'export media' and the export box comes up. I can choose Frame Server and all is fine. If I quit the frame server export before it has finished and then try to open the 'export ' again  box nothing happens, no export box. The only way I can then do any export is using AME but this does not use Cuda for the effects, (my 70 min HD2SD export is taking 22 hours).
Restarting Premiere, Rebooting the PC, Starting a new project and importing the sequence, Copying the clips to a new sequence, none of these will restore the export box.
If I start a new project from scratch all is fine again, If I open a previous project that has not had an aborted frame serve export all is fine.
Anyone else had a problem like this?

-Go to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Common\Plug-ins\CS6\Media Core\
-Rename dfscPremiereOUTCS5.prm
-Start Premiere and export a few seconds from your project as .avi
-Save the project and exit Premiere
-Rename the file back to dfscPremiereOUTCS5.prm
-Open project and export with frameserver
[Is not my intention to be oppositional again, but this happens only in Premiere, never in Sony Vegas Pro, is a fact]

  • Debugging mode in server - How does it work?

    Hi
    How does debugging mode in a server work ?
    Is the code compiled line by line as we proceed or how ?
    When we make a code change how is the hot code replaced when in debug mode and why not in normal run mode?
    Why is it not necessary to restart a server when we make changes to jsp when in normal mode?
    Thanks in Advance

    How does debugging mode in a server work ?Just like in any othe rprogram.
    Then how is it possible to change the values when
    the program is running . i.e. we have a option that
    we can change the values right !!
    Because the debug api allows you to do that.
    >
    s the code compiled line by line as we proceedor
    how ?
    No. Line number information is stored in the.class
    file, and the editor simply displays the line the
    bytecode mentions. Whether bytecode and sourcecode
    match is a different thing.
    I had previously read that the compiler compiles
    the code with break points at the beginning of every
    class (for step by step method)
    I agree with Rene. It happensthat you debug with the wrong source code and you will in that case notice that the debugger is saying that you are executing a line between methods.
    >
    >
    When we make a code change how is the hot code
    replaced when in debug mode and why not innormal
    run
    mode?I guess the executed bytecode for a method issimply
    replaced in memory... the entry point was probably
    stored and will be used to re-set to method entry
    before running the new bytecode.
    Then why is it not done when we are running the
    server in the normal mode.
    Why would it? What code should it replace it with?
    >
    >
    Why is it not necessary to restart a server when
    we
    make changes to jsp when in normal mode?
    Because the server can notice the change andunload
    and reload the class.
    I meant that when the jsp is compiled the servlet
    is created when i run the server right.(i'm not
    sure).
    So when I change the code and without restarting the
    server I run a jsp file it reflects the changes...
    HOW??
    Because some servlet runners can be configured to check changes on disk, and recompile if needed.

  • How to determine if the server is in debug mode or Running in Java Code

    Hi ,
    I have a WebDynpro Applcation in which i have to display foll things in Table:
    Engine Name; Engine Version: Debug Mode; Reserved by;
    Now i could display list of servers but i have hardcoded the Debug Mode as "Disabled"
    My Question is:
    If i know the Server, can we find if the server is in debugmode in application code???
    I have OS access to my Engine. Pls let me in which property file can i find Debug Status??
    Also i am not sure if i have posted the Query in RIght Component. DO let e know if this Q is posted in wrong Forum
    Kindly help me solve this problem
    Thanks n Regards,
    Archana

    Hi Archana,
    If u can't start the server in debugging mode thru NWDS then u can try this
    Config Tool:
    U can enable the debuggine mode from the Config Tool as well. Just browse to following
    C:usrsap<SID>JC<SYS_NO>j2eeconfigtoolconfigtool.bat
    Click on the your instance. Then under the tab VM Environment, Set the DebugMode = true.
    Restart the engine now. This will open the J2EE server again in the Debug Mode.
    Please check the [Debugging Portal Applications or WebDynpro Applciation|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/907751e5-f717-2a10-f3b4-de4431d4722d?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true] and search for SDN
    Just hope this helps you!

  • Running Weblogic Server 10.3.3 in Debug  mode

    Hi to all,
    Here i got a problem after installing Oracle Identity Manager 11g R3,to solve the issue i need to run WebLogic Server 10.3.3 in Debug mode.
    Can any suggest how to run WebLogic Server 10.3.3 in Debug mode.
    Here i find a solution to run in debug mode,but no difference in log files before and after changing debug mode.
    Enable Debugging on the WebLogic Server
    To start WebLogic Server in debug mode, you will need to modify the startWebLogic.cmd script in the <WLS-root>\wlserver_10.0\samples\domains\wl_server directory. <WLS-root> is the directory in which WebLogic 10.0.1 was installed into.
    In the startWebLogic.cmd script, specify the JAVA OPTIONS with:
    set JAVA_OPTIONS=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,address=4000,server=y,suspend=n
    Let me know if u have any questions,
    Thanks and Ragards,
    Satish

    Greg,
    I cam across this issue too. It looks like there is a bug in sample script provided by weblogic documentation. We should not use ADMIN_URL as they mentioned in the script.
    Remove it and try. For more info. please see this link helps:

    Thanks.

  • Server Error Running in Debug Mode

    Has anyone been able to run EA in debugging mode with the J2EE 1.4 application server?
    When I try, here's what happens:
    1. The server is stopped in preparation to run in debug mode
    2. The server restarts
    3. Before deployment the server dies with this error message:
    java.io.IOException. Unable to connect to admin-server ...
    This is for port localhost:4848

    There are a couple problems with debugging in EA:
    1) The debug port may be in use. Sounds like what you may be seeing. Assuming you're running on Windows, run "netstat -ano" to find out if port 1044 is in use. That's the debug port.. Kill the process that is using the port. This may require a reboot if the owner is System.
    2) The second problem is that on Windows, you may only be able to debug once without restarting the server. Non-Windows doesn't have this problem. The plan is to fix this in a future release.

  • Server looses Debug mode after a restart

    Hello,
    At the NWDS there is an option to enable the Server debug mode. When I do that the server restarts and debug mode is on. The problem is that if I restart the server again it looses the debug mode and than I have to enable it again from the NWDS (Which, again, requires a restart). The same symptom is happen if I do the enable through the Config tool at the Debug tab.
    Any idea why this happen?
    Roy

    Hey Shubhadip,
    I think you misunderstood my problem: I did save it, otherwise how the debig mode will be on. The problem is that after ANOTHER restart (after the restart to enable the debug mode) it loses the debug mode again.

  • How to start the server in debug mode

    HI
    Im working on weblogic server 8.1 sp. My requirement is to run the application in hosted on weblogic server with out restaring the server i.e dynamiically turn to debug mode with out stopping. IM using Log4j method for logging. please let me know how to do it... if any one have sample java code
    Thanks & regards
    shiva

    I am not sure, how can you do it on the fly, but if you want to restart the server here are the parameters you need to add to the java arguments
    -Xdebug -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=$Port
    (where Port will be any port you want to connect to).
    Thanks

  • Problem with Debug mode and SLD

    Using the config tool, we have turned the Debuggable flag to 'yes' and set the Debug mode to OFF.   Now from the studio, when I enable debugging for the process, the server0 stops successfully and restarts successfully. However, during the restart, the SLD service errors out and does not get started. It encounters the following exception. I can verify the error in std_server0.out
    With erred SLD service, when I try to deploy and run the webdynpro application from studio, the deploy fails with the same exception.
    We tried all kinds of restart (of the engine\server instance), debuggable and debug mode setting permutations, but not successfull.  (debug port is 50021)
    We are having remote debug server setup (not local).
    Does anybody have any suggestions???
    The exception we get is:

    Hi Michael,
    one way is to enhance the server go.bat with debug parameters. Under c:\usr\sap\<SID>\j2ee\<INSTANCE>\cluster\server\go.bat define the following params
    set DEBUG_PORT=5000
    set DEBUG_PARAMS=-Xdebug -Xnoagent -Djava.compiler=NONE -Xrunjdwp:transport=dt_socket,server=y,suspend=n,address=
    and add both params to the java arguments (e.g. behind the -classpath): %DEBUG_PARAMS%%DEBUG_PORT%.

  • Starting Server in Debug Mode - Need Some Advice Plz.

    Hi Guys,
    I have an EP SP 12 Server Running and I am trying to Start the Server in Debug mode from the Netweaver Developer Studio but when I right click the Server and try to choose Debug, the option is greyed out and even while viewing the Debug option from the SAPMMC I see that under the column Debug, it say 'Disabled' for the Server and Dispatcher.
    Can anyone suggest how this can be done, I would appreciate any help as I have been working on this for some time.
    Best Wishes,
    John.

    Hi John,
    If the you cannot start the server in the debugging mode through the NWDS then you can try the other way round.
    <b>Through Config Tool:</b>
    You can enable the debuggine mode from the Config Tool as well. Just visit the following path :
    <b>C:\usr\sap\<SID>\JC<SYS_NO>\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat</b>
    Click on the your instance. Then under the tab VM Environment, Set the <b>DebugMode = true</b>.
    Restart the engine now. This will open the J2EE server again in the Debug Mode.
    I hope this helps you!!
    Regards
    Pravesh
    PS: Please conside rewarding points if helpful and solved.

  • Restart the server in debug mode: How to drop saved passwords?

    In NWDS server pane, I entered a wrong password when trying to restart my SAP AS Java in debug mode. Now I only get exceptions "com.sap.enginemanagement.UnauthorizedException: Incorrect login information provided" without a chance of changing the entered credentials. Restarting NWDS didn't work.
    Any ideas?
    Thx,
    Christoph

    Hi Christoph,
    are you talking about the "Java EE" perspective and the "Servers" view within it? I tried it out and it does not behave properly.
    Try the "SAP Management" perspective. Within the left hand tree open your system, expand the instance starting with "J..", expand the "AS Java" node and select the "Process Table" node. In the right hand table select the server0 process and chose from the context menu "Start Debug Session".
    The SAP JVM offers some extra debug options. Expand the "Expert Mode" in the modal dialog. If you want to debug web applications select "code isolation" and unselect all other options. A password dialog will appear and you must enter the credentials for the operating system user, not for the AS Java administrator.
    One table column is labeled "Debug", there you can see the currrent debug port.
    Either you start now a "Remote Java Application Debug" debug session or you have a Java EE project and can create a "SAP Application" debug session.
    Anyway to see your application threads in the debugger you have to access your web application with a special debug URL.
    If your URL looks like this: "http://localhost:50000/myapp" you have to insert a debug token beween host part and the path and the URL becomes "http://localhost:50000/@@@DEBUG@@@/myapp". If you miss to modify the URL you will not see any thread.
    If you want to get a "normal" debug behaviour just deselect all options in the debug dialog. You will see all threads, you do not have to modify your URL, but the server will restart after you detached the debugger.
    Hope this helps.

  • Problem viewing cursor value in debug mode

    Hi eveybody!
    I'm French and new here.
    I know some topics deal with my subject but I don't really understand.
    Here's my environnement :
    Win2000 / ORA 9iR2 / SQL DEVELOPPER 1.0.0.15.57
    As some people say when i'm in debug mode (after compiling my procedure PL/SQL for debug) I can't see any value of my cursors !
    Ex :
    CURSOR cur IS
    SELECT COL1, COL2
    FROM TABLE1;
    v_cur cur%ROWTYPE;
    For v_cur in cur
    Loop
    If v_cur.COL1 = 'toto' then
    'do something' ;
    End if;
    End Loop;
    When I run this step by step in debug mode I can't see the data of my cursor in the data or smartdata pane.
    The values of my cursor is allways null !
    I guess I'm not the only one to see that bug.
    My question is should I wait a new release of sql developer or is there any solution for this problem?
    Anyway I want to congratulate the developers team who create this tool which is fabulous! It makes me forget TOAD and it's totally free.
    Thanks a lot for this job.
    Greg

    Here is a piece of code I use:
    CREATE OR REPLACE PROCEDURE sm_list AS CURSOR emp_cursor IS
    SELECT d.department_name,
    e.last_name
    FROM departments d,
    employees e
    WHERE d.department_id = e.department_id;
    emp_record emp_cursor % rowtype;
    BEGIN
    FOR emp_record IN emp_cursor
    LOOP
    DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(emp_record.last_name);
    END LOOP;
    END;
    With this example, I agree, the smart data is null. Logged a bug. However, note that I do see values in the data tab and can modify and watch these values.
    When using cursors I've been looping and then fetching into cursor records, i.e.:
    FETCH emp_cursor
    INTO emp_record;
    emp_tab(i) := emp_record;
    and then the values display in the Smart data and data tabs.
