Debug on device stop working

Hi, I really need you help.
I have been test my app on the device for a while. But suddenly, I started to get the following message when I tried to install the app on device:
Your mobile device has encountered an unexpected error (0xE8000001) during the install phase: Copying file
What does this mean?
thank you very much.
fm

This has happened to me twice now and despite everything I've read on the Internet, nothing worked for me except to restore my iPhone.
I don't remember what phase I was stuck on the first time, but this time it was on "copying files".
I've used the iPhone Configuration Utility as described [here|http://www.iphoneatlas.com/2008/09/22/iphone-configuration-utility-is-a-g reat-troubleshooting-tool> as well as followed tips as described [here|http://www.talentgrouplabs.com/blog/archive/2008/08/21/preflightingapplic ation-errors-0xe8000001-and-others.aspx].
I also Reset All Settings as described [here|http://www.cocoabuilder.com/archive/message/xcode/2008/10/3/25008] as a last hope before restoring. This may seem like a faster solution to restoring the iPhone, but you lose settings such as your network connection and Exchange account settings and all your icons gets moved around, so it's a PITA!
For now, the only solution for me is to back up your iPhone (sync with iTunes) then restore. Extremely annoying! I hope Apple fixes this in the next build or provides a decent tool to repair whatever gets corrupted.

  • Adobe AIR Debug Launcher has stopped working Error on Flash Builder 4.6

    Hi,
Maybe you could help me out here as I’ve search the web and Adobe forum but could not find any answer.
I just installed Flash Builder 4.6 (after uninstalling 4.5.1), now when I run my app, the adl.exe crashes (error details below). I thought because I have an app that was created with 4.5, but then I created a new app with this version and it still crash. I have Windows 7 64-bit PC.
Thanks so much. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  • CDrom Device stopped working

We purchased an Acer package about 3 weeks ago that came with an epson printer.  The CD device was working when I loaded a photo gallery file and a game.  When I was about to install the printer - the CD device just stopped working at all.  An error under Device Manager shows 'A driver (service) for this device has been disabled.  An alternate driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)'
At the same time, I was waiting for my internet provider to reinstall my internet because I found out that I can't go wireless.   A week later my internet was finally up and working.  Someone suggested to do a system restore from the day the CD device last worked.  I did and it did work.  I was finally able to load the epson printer and it was all working but by this time....my internet connection was lost.  'was wondering if it had to do with the timing that the date I picked....I had no internet connection yet.  I went ahead and picked another date after my internet was installed and once again, the CD device stopped working and whatever installation I did with the printer was not located.  So I don't know what to do.  I know I'm still in warranty with Best Buy but is this something that someone can help me out from Best Buy or Geek Squad over the phone or do I have to bring the entire system to them.  I have an online business and I can't really afford right now to lose more days since it took days already to have my internet back in order.  Please help.

Perhaps an expert can come up here and tell you how to remove the terms 'upper filters" and "lower filters" from a certain part of the registry. I dont feel adventureous enough to explaining it withotu sounding like a dummy

  • All input devices stop working suddenly

Every now and then ALL input devices stop working, ths is not temporary - a forced shut down is needed
What happens is that I am happily working away when suddenly all input devices stop working with no warning, so the light goes off on my Wacom (Intuous 3) tablet, the keyboard and the apple trackpad  are not responded to i.e. the cursor stays where it was on the screen prevously and I am left with the only option to restart by holding down the power button

If you don't already have a current backup, back up all data before doing anything else. This procedure is a diagnostic  test. It changes nothing, for better or worse, and therefore will not, in itself, solve your problem. The backup is necessary on general principle, not because of anything suggested in this comment.
Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software — potentially for the worse. The procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed, as well as some other aspects of the configuration that may be related to the problem.
Don’t be alarmed by the seeming complexity of these instructions — they’re easy to carry out. Here's a brief summary: In each of two steps, you copy a line of text from this web page into a window in another application. You wait about a minute. Then you paste some other text, which will have been copied automatically, back into a reply on this page. The sequence is copy; paste; paste again. That's all there is to it. Details follow.
You may have started the computer in "safe" mode. Preferably, these steps should be taken while booted in “normal” mode. If the system is now running in safe mode and is bootable in normal mode, reboot as usual.
Below are instructions to enter UNIX shell commands. They do nothing but produce human-readable output. However, you need to think carefully before running any program at the behest of a stranger on a public message board. If you question the safety of the procedure suggested here — which you should — search this site for other discussions in which it’s been followed without any report of ill effects. If you can't satisfy yourself that these instructions are safe, don't follow them.
The commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single long line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then copy it.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. Step 1 should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the icon grid.
When you launch Terminal, a text window will open with a line already in it, ending either in a dollar sign (“$”) or a percent sign (“%”). If you get the percent sign, enter “sh” and press return. You should then get a new line ending in a dollar sign.
    Step 1
Triple-click anywhere in the line of text below on this page to select it:
    PB=/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy; PR () { [[ "$o" ]] && printf '\n%s:\n%s\n' "$1" "$o"; }; PF () { o=$($PB -c Print "$2" | awk -F'= ' \/$3'/{print $2}'); PR "$1"; }; PN () { [[ $o -eq 0 ]] || printf "\n%s: %s\n" "$1" $o; };{ system_profiler SPSoftwareDataType | sed '8!d;s/^ *//'; o=$(system_profiler SPDiagnosticsDataType | sed '5,6!d'); fgrep -q P <<< "$o" && o=; PR "POST"; o=$(( $(vm_stat | awk '/Pageo/{sub("\\.",""); print $2}')/256 )); [[ $o -gt 1024 ]] && printf "\nPageouts: %s MiB\n" $o; o=$(kextstat -kl | grep -v com\\.apple | cut -c53- | cut -d\< -f1); PR "Loaded extrinsic kernel extensions"; o=$(launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.apple|org\.(x|openbsd)|\.[0-9]+$/{print $3}'); PR "Loaded extrinsic user agents"; o=$(launchctl getenv DYLD_INSERT_LIBRARIES); PR "Inserted libraries"; o=$(crontab -l); PR "User cron tasks"; o=$(cat /e*/lau*); PR "Global launchd configuration"; o=$(cat ~/.lau*); PR "Per-user launchd configuration"; PF "Global login items" /L*/P*/loginw* Path; PF "Per-user login items" L*/P*/*loginit* Name; PF "Safari extensions" L*/Saf*/*/E*.plist Bundle | sed 's/\..*$//;s/-[1-9]$//'; o=$(find ~ $TMPDIR.. \( -flags +sappnd,schg,uappnd,uchg -o ! -user $UID -o ! -perm -600 \) | wc -l); PN "Restricted user files"; cd; o=$(find -L /S*/L*/E* {,/}L*/{A*d,Compon,Ex,In,Keyb,Mail/Bu,P*P,Qu,Scripti,Servi,Spo}* -type d -name Contents -prune | while read d; do ID=$($PB -c 'Print :CFBundleIdentifier' "$d/Info.plist"); ID=${ID:-No bundle ID}; egrep -qv "^com\.apple\.[^x]|Accusys|ArcMSR|ATTO|HDPro|HighPoint|driver\.stex|hp-fax|JMicron|microsoft\.MDI|print|SoftRAID" <<< $ID && printf '%s\n\t(%s)\n' "${d%/Contents}" "$ID"; done); PR "Extrinsic loadable bundles"; o=$(find /u*/{,*/}lib -type f -exec sh -c 'file -b "$1" | grep -qw shared && ! codesign -v "$1"' {} {} \; -print); PR "Unsigned shared libraries"; o=$(system_profiler SPFontsDataType | egrep "Valid: N|Duplicate: Y" | wc -l); PN "Font problems"; for d in {,/}L*/{La,Priv,Sta}*; do o=$(ls -A "$d"); PR "$d"; done; } 2> /dev/null | pbcopy; echo $'\nStep 1 done'
Copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Then click anywhere in the Terminal window and paste (command-V). I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, you may have to press the return key after pasting.
The command may take up to a few minutes to run, depending on how many files you have and the speed of the computer. Wait for the line "Step 1 done" to appear below what you entered. The output of the command will be automatically copied to the Clipboard. Paste into a reply to this message. No typing is involved in this step.
    Step 2
Remember that you must be logged in as an administrator for this step. Do as in Step 1 with this line:
    PR () { [[ "$o" ]] && printf '\n%s:\n%s\n' "$1" "$o"; }; { o=$(sudo launchctl list | sed 1d | awk '!/0x|com\.(apple|openssh|vix\.cron)|org\.(amav|apac|calendarse|cups|dove|isc|ntp|post[fg]|x)/{print $3}'); PR "Loaded extrinsic daemons"; o=$(sudo defaults read com.apple.loginwindow LoginHook); PR "Login hook"; o=$(sudo crontab -l); PR "Root cron tasks"; o=$(syslog -k Sender kernel -k Message CReq 'GPU |hfs: Ru|I/O e|find tok|n Cause: -|NVDA\(|pagin|timed? ?o' | tail -n25 | awk '/:/{$4=""; print}'); PR "Log check"; } 2>&- | pbcopy; echo $'\nStep 2 done'
This time you'll be prompted for your login password, which you do have to type. Nothing will be displayed when you type it. Type it carefully and then press return. You may get a one-time warning to be careful. Heed that warning, but don't post it. If you see a message that your username "is not in the sudoers file," then you're not logged in as an administrator.
Note: Step 2 might not produce any output, in which case the Clipboard will be empty.
    You can then quit Terminal.
To prevent confusion, I'll repeat: When you type your password in the Terminal window, you won't see what you're typing.
Note: If you don’t have a login password, set one before taking Step 2. If that’s not possible, skip the step.
Important: If any personal information, such as your name or email address, appears in the output of these commands, anonymize it before posting. Usually that won't be necessary.
Remember, Steps 1 and 2 are all copy-and-paste — type only your password. Also remember to post the output.

I have the same bluetooth controller (0cf3:3005, Atheros AR3011) on my laptop (ASUS K53SV) and have the exact same problem. Bluetooth works for a while until tx errors start showing up:

    [24954.332842] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0c52 tx timeout
    [24956.338826] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0c24 tx timeout
    [24958.344882] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0405 tx timeout
    [24993.806536] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0408 tx timeout
    [25033.899824] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0408 tx timeout
    [25048.548327] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0c14 tx timeout
    [25051.014213] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0c14 tx timeout
    [25075.805968] Bluetooth: hci0 command 0x0408 tx timeout
Resetting the bluetooth device works sometimes but not always. There is always a chance that the device will just become unresponsive to any kinds of commands:
    # hciconfig hci0 reset
Can't init device hci0: Connection timed out (110)
I've tried various methods (block/unblock them with rfkill, `rmmod btusb` & `modprobe btusb`, etc) but none works after the device is "dead". The only way to recover seems to be powering off the laptop (simply rebooting doesn't fix the problem).

  • Hs3110 HSPA+ Device stopped working

My Mobile Broadband Device hs3110 HSPA+ has stopped working, first it would not find signal then it stop working all together. It now shows up in Device Manager as 'Other device' and is listed 4 times. Have tried to reinstall drivers but this has not worked.

For you to have the best experience in the HP forum I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide Learn How to Post and More
i grasp that you are having a difficulty with the SIM card.
First I would remove all 4 of the listing in Device Manager for it.
    Then scan for hardware changes.
Here is the driver from the HP page for it.   HP Mobile Broadband Drivers
Download the driver and try reinstalling.  If necessary you can download and save to a USB.
You could also try removing and reinstalling the SIM card.

  • Audio device stopped working, out of nowhere

    Windows 7, 64-bit. > Dell XPS 630i pc
I use speakers and a headset on my computer, both stopped workign a few days ago for no reason. I just booted up one day and nothing. I really need the problem fixed today it is the only time a have a few hours spare for the foreseeable future. I would really
    appreciate a solution.
I have tried reinstalled drivers, went to the realtek website went through that. For about the 4th time i reinstalled the drivers, it downloads the file installs, windows has to restart, finishes the installation but then it just informs me it was unsuccessful.
I have tried whatever solutions I could find across the internet, I am getting this error when I go to device manager:
Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
Everything in the Sound, video and game controllers section has a yellow triangle and ! mark. I go to properties and the device status is the text above. Realtek High Definition Audio is what I have been trying to get to work. I tried booting, pressing F8 and
turning off checking for driver signature. I would really appreciate a solution to this problem!

Where possible do not use Windows Update to install drivers.
Dell does not seem to automatically offer Win 7 audio drivers for your PC model.
    1. How do you uninstall drivers? Do you:
    a) Use Device Manager
    b) Use Control Panel -> Programs and Features
Please use option b. where possible.
    2. Which version(s) have you tried installing ???
According to Dell Support page for Dell XPS 630i here
    http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/xps-630/drivers
Audio drivers are offered for "Realtek ALC888 HD Audio" only when Vista OS is selected.
Version of these drivers is R1.99 (no Windows 7 support)
If trying to use these drivers, try setting the compatibility mode for the installer (exe) file to "Windows Vista"
    3. Dell offers Windows 7 64-bit driver (version 6.0.1.6039) for "Realtek ALC888 HD Audio" here
    http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=CG1T9
Top Realtek result when searching for "Realtek ALC888 HD Audio" is Czech Realtek site offering R2.72 (version 6.0.1.7071)
    http://www.realtek.cz/realtek-download.php?realtek=ALC888
Latest version from Realtek Taiwan site is R2.75
    http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=14&PFid=24&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false
Latest version on Major Geeks is also R2.75
    http://www.majorgeeks.com/files/details/realtek_high_definition_audio_for_vistawin_7win_8.html
    4. Dell support for Dell XPS 630i also offers (Vista) drivers for Creative X-Fi. These may be for an add-in card. Are you plugging your speakers into the motherboard or into an add-in card?
    5. Stories about your frustration do not help to solve the problem. Solid info might.

  • HT1296 I was using the iCloud for my iPod and had recorded an important Voice Memo on the device. Before I was able to store it on my computer, the device stopped working. I have the data on the Cloud, how can I get that back to my iMac?

I was using the iCloud for my iPod and had recorded several irreplaceable Voice Memos. It went up to the Cloud, but I wasn't too savvy with the Cloud at that point, so it wasn't syncronizing to my home computer. So, the thing is that the iPod died and the backup is in the Cloud and I would like to load the backup to my iMac to recover my data. How can I do that? Thanks

The new device I got to replace the iTouch is a iPad and I don't see the playlist I created with previous voice memos on it at all. Is there any way to access them on the iPad? If I erase the iPad and restore it with the old back up will the Voice Memos come along and get in to my home computer or will I be out of luck?

  • AppStore updates on all devices stopped working

    Hi,
all of a sudden (i.e. I guess since yesterday), I cannot update apps in the Appstore of both my iPad and iPhone. Clicking the Update button opens the respective app, and the "Update all" button is disabled. Already tried signing out of the store, reboot and sign in again, no change. Updating apps in iTunes on the PC works.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Armin

    Same problem here...
"Happy" to know I'm not the only one with this problem.
Think it is a problem of Apple.
Anybody with the same problem on IOS 8 ?
    Laurent.

  • Apple Mobile Device Service Stopped Working 8.2

Ugh. I know there have been many posts on this, and I've tried all the suggestions, but nothing has helped.
I'm running Vista Ultimate x64. I upgraded to iTunes 8.2. The second it finished installing, I got a message that said "Apple Mobile Device Stopped Working and Was Closed". The computer recognizes my iPhone, and there are no errors in the device manager, but iTunes says "iTunes can not sync with the iPhone because Apple Mobile Device Service is not started. Here's what I've done so far:
I added application exceptions for everything in the Apple Mobile Device and iTunes folders to my Norton 360 firewall.
I uninstalled everything Apple related (including mobile device service, bonjour, etc), cleaned my registry and re-installed 8.2.
I uninstalled again and went back to 8.1 The mobile device service worked, but when I opened iTunes I got an iTunes message that said "iTunes can not open ituneslibrary.itl because it was created by a newer version of iTunes."
I uninstalled, reinstalled 8.2, uninstalled just the mobile device service, and installed just the mobile device service from 8.1. Everything was fine until I opened iTunes and got an error message that said "iTunes recquires a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. Please upgrade".
So at this point it looks like my options are: Go back to 8.1 and start over with a brand new library (which is a huge pain because I've got over 300 gigs of music and at least 50 playlists that I use for my work) OR stay with 8.2 and not be able to sync my iPhone (also a huge pain because, well, I need to be able to sync).
Here's the log entry in my Event Viewer every time the "Appple Mobile Device Stopped Working" error pops up: "Faulting application AppleMobileDeviceService.exe, version 2.50.39.0, time stamp 0x49f9b7cf, faulting module RPCRT4.dll, version 6.0.6001.18051, time stamp 0x48002cd4, exception code 0xc0000005, fault offset 0x00018092, process id 0x14d8, application start time 0x01c9e9f70b1e30ad."
Does anybody have any ideas? Does it have something to do with my system being 64 bit and where iTunes installs its drivers and such? Is there another update coming soon, Apple?
    Thanks,
    Matt

Stay with itunes 8.1 - sounds like that was working for you.
Get the itunes database file for itunes 8.1 out of the *Previous iTunes Libraries* folder.

  • No Sound - Audio Output Device has stopped working

    Hi.
I've recently bought a new HP Pavilion 15 Notebook PC Product Number F4T62EA#ABU with Windows 8 64-bit.  The audio device is a Realtek High Definition Audio device.
All was working fine until a few days ago when the audio device stopped working.  Here is the device status:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)".
I've tried to update the driver for the device but it is already up to date.  Can anyone let me know how this can be fixed please?

Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows Vista). You can do a Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 8) to restore back to factory. You could also run the  built in troubleshooter to help.
    Follow these steps
    a. Press Windows key + C to open charms
    b. type in troubleshoot sound
    c.  select  troubleshoot sound on computer and follow the  on screen prompts.

  • IPad stopped working, only recognized by iTunes in DFU Mode

    A1459 iPad (4th generation) Wi-Fi + Cellular
A week ago, I was watching Netflix on my iPad. The screen went blue and then the device completely stopped working.
All I can do is put the device in DFU Mode and attempt to restore. I get the same result every time
"The iPad could not be restored. an unknown error occurred (4005)."
I brought it into the Apple store, where they could not provide any information as to why the device stopped working.
I am just curious at this point and trying to figure out what could have caused this. I purchased it 2 years ago, used it on the train commuting to and from the city and for the last year it was used lightly at home for browsing the internet and watching movies.

This is the only support document with information on error 4005. It seems to be a disconnect error, and can happen for any reason. The diagnostics they use at Apple do not always provide the information about why, just that there is a hardware error. Any number of things can go wrong with electronics. I'm sorry I could not be any more specific, but then, neither could Apple.
