Debug stop on HOOK_DYNP_RAL_PAI

After upgrade to EHP6, every time we set debug mode on with /h in command line, the first stop is in this FM: HOOK_DYNP_RAL_PAI.
This occurs on every transaction.
Any hint what could be this?
Regards,
Frisoni

Thank you Thomas.
It works for HOOK_DYNP_RAL_PAI.
Now it's stopping in CL_DYNP_RAL_API->CHECK_RECORDING_FLAG.
I've checked that this class is not flagged as System Program, but can't find any note for this one.
I'll wait for another note
Thanks.

    Hi All,
    I managed to setup the conditional break point via the break point window as opposed to going through the gutter initially.

  • System Debugging Stopped Working

    Hi Gurus,
    From last few days suddenly system debugging has stopped working. When I put it on It gives the message 'System Debugging switched on' but it just doesn't wait & post the document. I have checked with the Basis guy & he confirms there is no change from his side ( Of course I am not convinced about it & strongly believe that something has changed in the syatem ). Can somebody guide me on this.
    Regards
    Raju Chitale

    Hi Raju, have you checked your personal settings within the editor (utilities->settings->debugging)?  It could be that you have external debugging active.  Prior to ECC5.0 I believe you had to toggle between external and internal debugging.  So if you inadvertently switched it to external it won't break within your sap gui sessions until you switch it back to internal.

  • MI debug stopped to work

    Hi all,
    During export of MI .war through Eclipse(NWDS) I choose to add JSPs as compiled classes and also to keep the generated java classes. Yeah, as SAP said this is useful for JSP debugging and I've tried it, it worked a while, but now - not. I cannot remember if I did something special, but now even if I put breakpoints in both the JSP file and the generated java file, the debugger do not go through it... Did anyone already observed this and how can I overcome this..?
    And another strange thing is that MI export of war changes the web.xml in some strange way, that I do not want to...
    Thanks,
    Lalo

    Hello Lalo,
    I don't use MDK for my own reason, but you just added one of yours...
    You can look at my blog entry on how not to use MDK.
    As for the second problem, web.xml, MDK will change this file if you have check compile JSP. It has to do that to create the redirection xml for tomcat.

  • Abap Rfc External Debug from a Jco Client Connection

    Hi to all,
    i have developed a Java Application on Sap J2ee (SAP-JEE 7.01 SP6) , using the Jco2 integrated.
    I'm using direct connection , calling Custom Functions Module on  Abap Stack.
    I have a question about Abap Debugging:
    now i debug the abap function setting an external session breakpoint (SE37) and  the abap debug stops  correctly on breakpoint that i've set.
    But sometimes i notice the strange situation that during my debug another debug session (identical to the first) is open on my sap gui (it seems that Jco sends another request while i'm debugging the first )
    Reading the jco documentation i've seen this method that i never used: JCO.Client setAbapDebug(boolean debug)
            Enables/disables abap debug.
    Note:If the connection is already established the method will close and reopen the connection.
    have I  to set this in my java code in addition to abap external breakpoint? Why Jco.Client sends another request?
    Thanks for the answers
    Alessandro

    Anyone know?
    Thanks,
    Augusto Póvoa.

  • Debug ABAP program

    Hello:
    I have a WebService and I followed the instructions in order to call it from the ABAP side. So now I have a proxy.
    I created a simple ABAP program to test this WS call but it seems it's not working quite well. For external debug purposes, on the WS side I write text files. Those logs indicate me that the WS is indeed being called and exited succesfully.
    The WS returns an array of Objects which I assume is translated as a table on ABAP.
    I also have some "write" statements on the ABAP program and they indicate me that no exceptions are being thrown. However, when I set the breakpoint just after the call, the table shows it has no "rows" in it, as if the WS retuned something empty.
    This is the code:
    *& Report  Z_WS_EXTERNAL_TES
    REPORT  Z_WS_EXTERNAL_TES.
    DATA: MDM_PROXY TYPE REF TO ZEXTERNALCO_MDMWEB_SERVICES_VI .
    TRY.
        CREATE OBJECT MDM_PROXY
      CATCH CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT .
    ENDTRY.
    data: OUTPUT type ZEXTERNALGET_CANDIDATES_OUT_DO .
    data: INPUT type ZEXTERNALGET_CANDIDATES_IN_DOC .
    TRY.
    write 'Step 1 '.
        CALL METHOD MDM_PROXY->GET_CANDIDATES
          EXPORTING
            INPUT  = input
          IMPORTING
            OUTPUT = output.
    write 'Step 11 '.
      CATCH CX_AI_SYSTEM_FAULT .
        write 'Step 2 '.
      CATCH CX_AI_APPLICATION_FAULT .
        write 'Step 3 '.
    write 'END'.
    ENDTRY.
    The outcome of the program prints:
    Step 1           Step 11          END
    The breakpoint is set on the line that Prints the string "Step 11". The debug stops there, I click on GLOBALS and the OUTPUT structure doesn't have anything inside..
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

    Hello
    Thanks for the answer. Right now the WS returns test data even if no parameters are provided (at least that what I get on the WebServices Navigator)
    Does it need any parameters for the WS proxy to be initialized?
    Thanks
    Alejandro

  • Firefox stops working when I use the password manager on certain pages

    Hey.
    When I visit certain pages, Firefox will consistently crash. One of these pages for example is:
    betabrand.com
    The moment the password manager window jumps up, the window hangs and Firefox stops. It also happens randomly on other pages including
    gmail.com
    Sometimes, though not always, a script error will appear that says that googletag has stopped working. I don't know what that is and have tried debugging, stopping the script and just continuing. No real effect. Firefox still crashes after trying each in turn.
    Firefox will also crash if I try to access the options window.
    I have tried:
    1. uninstalling firefox and reinstalling fresh. No result.
    2. disabling all addons (addons I use are: addblock plus 2.6.5 - Clean Links 2.6.1.0 - Myibidder 1.3.7 and Web Of Trust 20131118). Firefox will function without crashing once I do this but I cannot identify whcih addon is causing the problem because it functions well on each occassion when I cycle through and disable them one by one.
    My system specs are:
    i7 @ 3.4g
    4gig ram
    Win7 32
    FF crashed while terying to install the troubleshooter addon.
    Thanks for any help.

    Do you have an ad blocker, firewall, or antivirus installed that may be blocking the google tag?

  • 1510 Mesh AP Debug

                       Hello friends!  I am kicking myself because I cann't find the route of my problem so hopefully somebody can!  I have two Cisco 1510 Mesh Access points one is the root.  I am working with a Motorola VC70 Windows CE 7.0 unit.  The problem that I am having is that everytime the unit roams from the root to the mesh it drops connection.  I was doing a debug on the mesh AP and it was saying that "drop frame, sta sent the frame on wrong vapid" when the unit was trying to roam.  Does anybody knows what this means?  I am working with one SSID (WPA2-PSK) and I have the client on the 2.4ghz channel, channel 11 for the root and 1 for the mesh, and the 5ghz is working as the backhaul on bith channel 161.   Any ideas to point me in the correct direction would help!!!
    Thanks,
    Jason

    When I do a debug on the client and when the unit roams from the working AP to the Mesh the debug stops ( I am doing this from a 2106 Controller).  But when the Client roams back to the working AP it shows this.  Which I assume is a successful roam.  Any other client does the same, Laptop with Intel card, Motorola MC9090 Handheld.  It looks like it fully disassociates and looks for its IP?  The coverage is very good between the root and the Mesh AP.  RSSI is at -42 and both interfaces pass the noise interferance profile.  For the coverage that is needed we are using omni antennas and a site survey for the area is around -52 to -66.

  • J2EE/JSP/EJB - ojvm debugging hangs

    I'm using JDeveloper version 10.1.2.0.0 (build 1811) at following enviroment:
    Server: Windows XP
    Client: Windows XP
    JAVA:1.4.2_04 that comes with Jdev
    I have the following problem:
    I have a project with *.jsp and *.java files when i try do debug a java file using
    the ojvm he get's to the breakpoint then if try to the debug using step over/step into
    the process hangs no exception and no coming back. If i use the others vm (hotspot, client or sever)
    Jdev doesn't hang. The problem only occurs where debugging with ojvm.
    When the debug process hangs no way to know what it's doing cause it's not
    possible to pause (cliking the debugger pause button there's no reaction) just stopping de
    process by cliking 2 times at the debug stop button.
    I changed from Jdev 9.0.5.16.15 to Jdev 10.1.2.0.0 (build 1811) same problem.
    Any help?

    I see. A logger is software that catches the fallout and presents it to you.
    Well, I'm slightly resistant because I can program this stuff OK, but I work from home .. there's no backup for me, no sysad to help. I've recently moved to Linux and I'm groping around it. So I fear a day or two of non-productive farting about trying to get a logger to work, and I could do without it.
    Then again, it can take me a good while to debug something blind.
    So. Any recommendation for a simple logger? Are they java or do they depend on the OS? Oh, and free/open source of course :-)
    Or, if anyone could tell me how to get my printlns to work that would be good too :-)

  • Forte c++ debug with softlinked files

    Some of my source code files are softlinks. For example, I have my main as
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 jliu 63 Sep 14 14:54 main.cxx -> /databases/source/#44/13942
    When I set a debug stop in this file, the workshop generate the following warning:
    warning: can't find file "/databases/source/#44/main.cxx"
    It seems that workshop is looking for the file "main.cxx" in the database where the file
    has the name of "13924". Why is this and more imporatantly, how to get around of this?
    Thanks,
    [email protected]

    > I appreciate that this old GUI is no longer supported BUT the SAP note states that 620 patch 56 is the minimum level for method "G" to work - and previous testing showed that it DID work ok. It seems only some of the 620 patch 57 users are affected - just wondering if you can advise why and if there is a 'quick fix' for this, perhaps an updated fputs.c file or something?
    fputs.c is a source file that is used to compile the GUI. The assertion is thrown because an expected condition is not met. So even if you would take out the assertion, there's no guarantee it'll work because "something" on the operating system is not right.
    I suggest you compare installed software and windows hotfixes on the affected PCs vs. those who don't show this error. The error may also be that after the installation of the SAPGUI another software product was installed that replaced certain DLLs that are also used by the SAPGUI.

  • Flash Remote Debugger Help

    Yesterday, my Flash CS3 AS2 remote debugging stopped working
    after I installed a number of Adobe updates and on Mac OS X (Intel)
    update. Before I installed the updates, I was able to debug any SWF
    loaded in my browser window with the CS3 debug interface and output
    window. After I rebooted, all of my browsers stopped sending my the
    prompt to connect to a local host or enter an IP. Also, "debug" is
    no longer an option in the drop down menu when I right click on the
    swf in the browser window. Flash remote debugging is marked
    properly in the FLA publish settings and a new SWD is being
    published every time I test. But the player doesn't attempt to
    connect at all! I don't know if the loss of this functionality is
    related to the updates but it does seem that way.
    Any help, please?!

  • Skip Authorization Check in ECC5.0

    I have noticed a major diffrence in authorization check for tcodes in ECC5.0 . In earlier versions in debug mode I found that if there is a command like :
    CALL TRANSACTION 'PA30' and SKIP FIRST SCREEN
    If i press F5 it directly shows me the error message "Not authorised to PA30" in case there is no auth to execute it, and the debugging stops.
    But in Earlier versions it used to goto a function module to check the auth. I just want to customize the function module to skip the auth check for a certain set of users.
    Any clue for this?

    Hi Alex,
    I am not very sure about Personnel Cost Planning,
    But an approach I have used in the past when exploring a module about which there is limited documentation or SAP standard model roles is to
    1) Switch on Trace using ST01.
    2) Carry out a series of transcations using a user id which has a lot of authorizations or SAP_ALL.
    3) Anlayse the trace document and identify all the authorization object.
    4) BUild a new role with the auth objects and assign to test user id.
    5) test and confirm that the authorizations are not too many or too less.
    A time consuming but thorough approach.
    hope this helps.

  • New install lightdm does not start

    I've installed arch and not much past that point.  After troubles with lightdm I installed gnome and used 'systemctl enable gdm' and gdm worked after my reboot.  Anyway, more info on my lightdm problem.
    Steps to install
    pacman -S lightdm
    pacman -S lightdm-gtk3-greeter
    systemctl enable lightdm
    reboot
    Upon reboot screen flashes a couple of times and then stops.
    I had installed xfce4 prior to this and made sure the xfce4.desktop file existed.  I've looked up other posts and I have not had look implementing their solutions.  Any ideas?

  • How to Embed FPM ABAP into a WebDynpro ABAP Application

    HI all,
    I've embedded a custom  FPM component a custom WebDYnpro application and I've coded this:
          DATA: lo_usage TYPE REF TO if_wd_component_usage,
                ls_conf_key TYPE wdy_config_key.
          lo_usage = wd_this->wd_cpuse_po_manage_fpm_usage( ).
          IF lo_usage->has_active_component( ) = abap_true.
            lo_usage->delete_component( ).
          ENDIF.
          ls_conf_key-config_id = 'ZWD_SRM_PO_MANAGE_OIF'.
          TRY.
               CALL METHOD lo_usage->create_component
                EXPORTING
                  component_name   = 'FPM_OIF_COMPONENT'
                  configuration_id = ls_conf_key.
            CATCH cx_wd_runtime_api .
          ENDTRY.
    My application is called (debug stops) but the screen that's rendered is an empty screen with Start and Close buttons (the initial screen which is normally displayed is not in this case).
    What could the problem be?
    Also, how can I pass parameters to my FPM application? (According to the PDF guide, app_parameters can't be used!)
    Thank you.

    Hi ,
    Did you find a solution to your problem?. I'm trying to do the same kind of thing and have the same problem.
    Thanks.
