Decoding in Adapter using Module

Hi,
Following is the scenario overview:
1. Source file is encoded text file.
2. Decode the source file to obtain the XML file using Base64 decoder in adapter Module.
3. Use the XML file for mapping.
I have written a java code which decodes the file and forms the XML.When i run it as a stand alone it works fine.
When I deploy it, it does not decode the whole source text and forms partial xml file because of which whole scenario does not work.
Can anyone suggest where and what the problem can be?

The issue is resolved now.. but there is another issue that has come up..
The problem now is that the module works with File adapter i.e. end to end is successful.
But the same module gives error with JMS adapter.

I am woking with one mail adapter and I prepared one code to change the attachement name and body content. The attachement is working good but the body e-mail is not working.
After to check a lot of blog my code now is creating two attachements one with the Payload (xml) and other with the text that suppose to come as a body e-mail.

Hi Michael,
Can you check if your main attachment (the one that should be the mail text) does not carry the wrong content-disposition header?
The easiest way to check is to use some message capturing tool (e.g., TCPGateway attached in the SOAP FAQ Note). If this header is present, it should have value inline to inform the mail client to display the content in inline. If the value is set wrong, the MessageTransformBean module can be misused to repair this content header.

Async/Sync Bridge in JMS Adapter using modules

Hi All,
can you please help me on this, I have done a JMS to SOAP scenario where I have used two JMS comm channels.
one is for sender JMS system and another is for getting the response message back.
can any one please tell me should I maintain a receiver agreement with the comm channel thru which I am getting the response message back to the JMS system?
and can I maintain the same connection parameters in both of this JMS comm channels?

Hi,
The same connection parameters can be used across the two Jms channels. And you have to define two receiver agreements, one of Receiver Soap and the other for Receiver Jms.
I am not completely sure whether it works, even with no receiver agreement at Jms receiver side.

Use Moduls with SOAP Sender Adapter

Hi Experts,
I have a question regarding the use of modules in the soap sender adapter / communication channel. Is it correct that the use of modules in the soap sender adapter is not possible?
the background of my question is that we use modules from SEEBURGER in our Communication channels for archiving incoming and outgoing documents. the use of modules in the soap receiver adapter is possible. why not in the soap sender???
according to the sap help it is possible to use the axis framwork in the soap adapter. then it should be possible to use modules. Is that correct? I tested it but it is not working. If I send a soap message (with the soap reveicer adapter) to the axis soap sender adapter there occure internal server errors. it is only working if I write my own modules for the axis soap sender adapter? is it not possible to use external modules like in other channels (File/FTP, soap receiver etc.)???

we have moduls from SEEBURGER. so I have to test it. but before I need a scenario with which I can test it.
We have a customer who sends xml-files per soap to us. these files we receive succussfully with the soap sender adapter. now we want to use some modules. so we have to use the axis soap sender adapter. I tried to send an xml file with the soap receiver adapter to the axis soap sender adapter, but this was not working. http 500 internal server errors occurred. is it possible that this scenario (soap-to-axis-soap) is not working? need I a specific configuration for this?

The above code is throwing an error while end to end testing.
the scenario is such,while graphical mapping a UDF will be used, which will create an Xml payload, and send this payload to another SOAP to file scenario.

Please can anyone suggest how this error can be rectified.

File adapter with modules

Hi all
Why is the File adapter does not work properly with modules.
The source file does not be picked up from the source directory when I use module with the CC , but when I remove the modules it works fine.
Do I have to activate anything or to do any set up.

see the module tab specifies the adapter modules called during execution of your communication channel......so in the comm channel in module tab - there is always a SAP adapter module for every adapter which is invoked by the adapter engine to do the work of that adapter.........now if there is some functionality in your scenario, which cant be provided by the adapters which SAP XI provides - then you will have to create a customer adapter J2EE module for your scenario in NWDS and then deploy it in XI system by SDM.....Then you can give your adapter module first and then SAP adapter module will be there..........So adapter engine first calls your adapter module -do the things you want and then adaper engine calls SAP adapter module to do the task of that adapter comm channel.
Hope this explains you the use of module tab in Comm channel.

DVI to Video Adapter: Using S-video vs. RCA output to TV

I just purchased a DVI to Video Adapter for my MacBook Pro 15". I'd like to display iPhoto slide shows on my TV. Will there be a difference in picture quality on the TV if I output from the Mac (thru the DVI to Video Adapter) using an RCA cable versus an S-video cable?

S-Video is the better of the two interfaces. Neither is very good when compared with a computer screen, which will have much higher resolution. I doubt you will notice much difference between S-Video and RCA Video but if you have the choice you might as well go S-Video.

We have SyncFileRead partner link.
The expectation is: when the message read by SyncFileRead partner link is rejected,
that rejected message should come to particular directory in the server.

u2013 for this Check the Exchange Profile and transaction SU01, try to reset the password -Restart the J2EE Engine to activate changes in the Exchange Profile After doing this, you can restart the message

I have a scenario to integrate to a application using JMS adapters. we use SAP PI 7.11 version.
We have deployed JMS drivers successfully and We face issue here to connect to weblogic server
We are using JMS adapter using JNDI to connect to weblogic server version 10.3.
Can anyone help with the exact format to be used in JMS properties table and additional parameters table in JMS communication channel. Your quick help will be appreciated.

Error in Rcvr File Adapter using FTP ?

I am getting the follwoing error while trying to put file in the folder thru Rcvr File Adapter using FTP and it is giving me following error :
java.io.FileNotFoundException :(Permission Denied )
I have verified the permissions on the folder and it is having write permissions.
Please suggest Its urgent.

1. check whether the access to FTP is Authenticated, if so provide the username and password
2. try giving different file name at the receiver end
3. try normal ftp commands to access the folder
