Default location for save as: set to my documents
When I open a pdf document from the internet without saving it on my computer and click on save after I modified it, the save as dialogue propose my "temporary internet files" folder instead of the "my documents" folder. When I check on my colleague's pc (same configuration) it goes by default to my document. How can I change my default saving location to my documents?
Configuration: vista, reader 9.0 and IE7.

It seems that adobe reader saves to the location from where it was installed originally.
I saved the installer to my desktop and now when i open pdf files in ie and save them, they are saved to desktop

Mavericks default location for "save as" on word and excel
Having just installed Mavericks, it appears that if I open a Word or Excel file, and then go to "save as", rather than defaulting the save as location to the location the original file came from, it is now defaulting to my top level Documents folder. How to set default preset for Save for Web
Following the demise of my laptop, I have installed PSE8 (Windows) on my new one.
On my old machine, the default preset for Save for Web was JPEG High
On the new installation, the default is GIF and you have to manually scroll through the presets every time to apply the JPEG High preset.
Is it possible to change the default preset. If so, how.

There should be an iTunes folder there and it should have a number of files and folders including one called library.itl You want to guide iTunes to that file. If you don't see that file or folder then in your next post you will have to be very specific as to what you do see or how you have your iTunes set up because that's where it should be according to default settings.

Can i change the default location for my Adobe PDF printer?
i'm using QXP 7 and when printing i select Adobe PDF 7 and the same ppd. Now when clicked on print, it does not give the option to select the location. Is there any setting to change the location or tell the printer to prompt for the location?

When i double click itunes it doesn't open it just comes up with an error saying " The itunes library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the 'itunes' folder in the 'music' folder. How can i fix this problem?

My laptop was updating itunes and turned off and every since when i try to load itunes it brings up a window that says

I can't access my itunes music on my laptop after having it re-imaged. I installed itunes again but can't access the music folder. Every time I have to upgrade iTunes it gives me this messege:'The default location for this file is in the "iTunes" folder in the "Music" folder.' the file should be there but I don't understand why it does this every time Apple upgrades the Itunes library. Its on the computer somewhere but it only affects this login on my computer (meaning on this Windows Account). Why does my iTunes do this? I have been trying for over 2 weeks now trying to get my iTunes to open up so I can use my iTunes but I have not had any luck since I up graded to the new itunes. I have tried uninstalling (all apple programs) and reinstalling and nothing seems to work. Everytime I try to open my iTunes I receive the following message - The iTunes Library.itl file cannot be found or created. The default location for this file is in the "i Tunes" folder in the "Music" folder. Please help as I'm getting very frustrated and want to throw every apple device in the trash!!!
FYI: I thought about getting the iPhone but since I"m not having very good luck getting assistance with my iPod/iTunes I think I will rethink my decision.Found the solution.

Let's try this first. Hold down the Shift key while you try to launch iTunes. You should eventually see the following dialog:
Click "Choose library". Browse to inside the following location (depending on what operating system you're running):
