Define number of errors before exit compilation process

Hi,
I know that under HP Itanium there is a flag to define max number of errors before compiler ends with failure (aCC_MAXERR flag). Do we have in C++ studio same flag for enabling it under Sun Solaris environments?

Beginning with Sun Studio 12 udpate 1, we have an undocumented "Qoption" to allow you to set the maximum number of errors:
CC -Qoption ccfe -max_errs=+N+ ...
where N is an integer.

Hi:
the problem was not resolved deleting/uploading the components, the problem was resolved increasing the memory in the host and tuning the JVM memory parameters.
In our host the memory was reduced and this was the origin of the problem

I want to generate code for an annotation @OverrideAll that would implement all the interface I methods with some default body.:

class A extends A_gen {}However, I have the problem that the original source file does NOT compile because the interface I is not implemented, and as such, the annotation processor never runs. My question is:
Is there any way I could force the annotation processor to run before the compiler shows the error? Or at least some way to supress this error message and give a chance to the annotation processor to run?

You can either generate a superclass of A, or a subclass of A.
If you generate a superclass, you need to specify the generated superclass's name in the extends clause of A. But you said "I would prefer not to name the generated class in the original source code", but give no reasons then go off exploring the second alternative.
If you generate a subclass of A, then you need a way for the rest of the code to instantiate As without really knowing about the subclass, so you do in fact need a factory method in A which actually returns A_gens.
I suggest you revisit your preference for not naming the generated class, and work out why you have that preference, and whether it is actually a sound engineering constraint, an aesthetic nicety (maybe in terms of not wanting the implemention strategy to be brought to the surface) or something emotional.
You can do what you want with annotation processing, but you must choose between naming the generated superclass in the extends, or having an factory method that names the subclass.
A related issue is that if you generate the superclass, the annotation processor can pick up the name of the class to be generated from the "extends" clause, and you therefore don't need to specify it any other way, whereas if you generate a subclass, the annotation processor cannot infer the name of the subclass that is being instantiated from the factory method (unless you use non standard APIs in your annotation processor), which means you need to explicitly name it as an attribute of the annotation.
I have a preference for generating a superclass because that imposes less restrictions on whatever else you do with the class, and less of the code generation implementation details leak up into the class's signature.
Also note when generating a superclass, if you want to extend something other than Object, then you need to specify that as an annotation value, usually as a Class<?>.

Error in executing a process for compilation for jsp

We have an iView which has jsp pages in it. We deployed the par & try toaccess the iview & we get an exception. The issue is that the iview has a jsp page. At the run time, this jsp is converted into a .java file
without problem. But EP engine is having issues compiling this java fileinto .class file.
On the other hand this same iview works just fine on our windows installation. Only Solaris EP install is having problems. The version onwindows as well as on Solaris is EP6 SP9.
Here is the exact version on the solaris EP:

The web dynpro iview works fine.

Hi, seems like there's some typo in your jsp. Check the .java file listed with a java editor (like eclipse or devstudio.). Maybe you'll find the typo this way faster.
Most often, a multiline page import hampers jsp compilation,
e.g.

needs to be

deployin my model i get the following error-message.

Do i delete a sort-element from my model it is deployed very well. So what does this message exactly mean and how can I locate where the error occurs and how can i fix that problem because i need this sort-element to be in my model.

Hi Tobias,
You are receiving this error due to a current limitation in the Flex server. How you can fix this is to split the iView you are currently working on into two iViews, and embed one within the other. This will decrease the size of the current iView you are receiving the error for and eliminate this problem.

When executing a mapping through Process Flow, “Maximum number of errors” is set to 50 and the mapping returns 5 errors. Will the mapping return SUCCESS, WARNING or ERROR?

try checking the java path on your XI machine
if this will not work contact the SAP via an OSS note

Specify the jstartup/vm/home parameter in the instance profile to be directed at the correct JAVA_HOME.
Furthermore, act by SAP Note 718901.
Also test ur mapping using this blog

User Exit/Badi while saving the PO before it is processed

Hi,
We have a requirement where in we have to change the release strategy of a PO on saving it , but,before it gets processed. Please let me know if there is any user exit or badi for this scenario.

But by the time the above user exit / badi is executed, the PO is outputted, i would like to change the release strategy b4 the PO gets outputted. Any suggestions?

Goto XI server machine and check the drive spaces. U may also use DB2 transaction. Ur BASIS may help u with this

How to Run Operating System Command Before/After Message Processing SAP PI

Hi,
We are trying to execute multiple commands via "Operating System Command Before/After Message Processing".
When we use single command say for example cp or mv (copy or move) the commands get executed fine.
eg: cp %F /var/opt/data/outbound/Test/Dummy.txt
/this works fine/
when we club commands together or try to redirect the outputs of commands, none of the commands get executed.
eg:
cp %F /var/opt/data/outbound/Test/Dummy.txt ; rm %F
or
wc -l %F > /var/opt/data/outbound/Test/Dummy.txt
Is it possible to execute multiple commands or redirect the output of commands without using a shell script? The PI server we are working on iis hosted on UNIX environment.

instead of semicolon try this
(1) &
command1 & command2
Execute Command1 and then execute Command2
(2) &&
command1 && command2
Runs the command2 only when command1 doesn't Complete successfully
(3) ||
command1 || command2
Runs the second command if the first command had an error
(4) ()
(command1 || command2) || (command3 & command4)
Defines the order in which commands are to be executed
