Flash Builder 4.6 says the the transitions (at least FlipViewTransition) have been deprecated. Can you please confirm?

Dear Sir,
Thanks for your tutorial, it is really good. But I have a question, please help me if you can.
I've created a mobile application with TabbedViewNavigator. I have 4 tabs down there. Each tabs have subpages you can push to. It looks like this:
Tab1 -> view1 -> view2 -> view3
Tab2 -> view4 -> view5 -> view6
Tab3 -> view7 -> view8 -> view9
Tab4 -> view10 -> view11 -> view12
My question is, how can I reset each tab's view? For example, I'm on Tab2's 2nd page ( view5) and I going to Tab3/View7 and back to Tab2. As I left Tab2 from View7, I'll get back to that view, instead of it's first view: View6. So everytime I navigate to any of the Tabs I would like to be on it's FIRST view and NOT on that I've been before.

Create Download Page for Embedded PL/SQL Gateway
The Oracle XML DB HTTP Server with the embedded PL/SQL Gateway is typically used for Application Express in Oracle Database 11g. Calling a PL/SQL procedure directly from a URL that is not known in a list of allowed procedures, as shown in Change the Download Link to Use the New Procedure, results in an error message.
To avoid this situation, there are a couple of available options. The first option is to modify the PL/SQL function WWV_FLOW_EPG_INCLUDE_MOD_LOCAL to include the PL/SQL download_my_file procedure and then recompile. The second, described below, is to create a page in the application that has a before header branch to the PL/SQL download_my_file procedure. You then create a hidden item on that page for the document ID of the document to be downloaded.
I have been using the great new tools in 4.2 to create mobile applications with much success on a 4.2.0.00.27 platform. However, when I set up a download page as prescribed, the result on my Samsung Galaxy S3 is not user-friendly on either Firefox or the Google browser. When the user clicks on a download link, the result is a blank page with the word "undefined". If the user reloads the page, then a message appears briefly "Starting download..." If the user then opens the "pull down menu" the download appears in the Notifications section. So it works, but it's not intuitive or even easy to figure out what happened.
Does anyone have any knowledge of this? Is there some way to control the message on the "undefined" page? Is there a way to cause the smartphone to automatically open the file?

Hi Bill,
This could potentially be an issue with jQuery Moble's AJAX navigation. By default, jQuery Mobile loads pages via AJAX to allow for smooth page transitions. This means that instead of doing a full page load for the next page, jQuery Mobile loads that page into the DOM of the current page and then replaces the content via JavaSript.
Since APEX 4.2 is using jQuery Mobile for the mobile templates, the same is true of APEX pages that you navigate to from a mobile page, as well as links to other content, such as your file download. One way to circumvent this would be to defined you links as: "javascript:location.href=([your link]);" instead of just a plain link. Depending on your specific implementation, there are also other jQuery Mobile settings that would allow for having link targets not be loaded via AJAX. Take a look at rel="external" and data-ajax="false" in the jQuery Mobile documentation, and see what might apply to your scenario:

Invoking a Web Service from a mobile application

Hi all,
I have installed Sun Wireless Toolkit 2.5.2 for CDLC and MTJ.
I want to invoke a web service from an MTJ Application and I have not a clue of how to start.
First let me say I am working with RSA (which is over Eclipse)
My first attempt was creating the web service client and then try to convert it into a mobile application (through the use of MTJ --> Convert to Midlet Project)
I found 4 errors when doing so:
First was solved changing the jre to 1.6.
I am still dealing with the following three:

I only started to solve the first one. I assumed that I have to add the right .jar to manifest file (please let me know if I am wrong). I tried to do by adding the textual classpath rt.jar, however I am not able to give it the right path:
C:\Archivos de programa\IBM\SDP\runtimes\base_v7_stub\java\jre\lib\rt.jar (even though I split the too long sentence into two and I include an space at the beginning of the second, I still get an error when saving)
I would appreciate any help
A) to solve the existing problems
or
B) To create a web service client in an EclipseME application through any other method.

If you want to invoke a web service from a JCD you will have to build the SOAP message using JAX-RPC or AXIS and then programmatically creat an HTTP connection.
Or you can leverage the HTTP(S) eWay and then you only have to build the SOAP message.
Or use eInsight. You can import a WSDL into eInsight and eInsight will offer you a business process Activity to invoke the web service operations defined in the WSDL.

Solution Workbooks are Excel files created and managed using the Business Explorer Analyzer of the
Business Information Warehouse solution. BW queries contain the BW reporting data itself and can be
inserted into the workbooks. The Solution Workbooks are generated and stored in the BW System.
They are subscribed to in the same way as other data to be replicated, that is, via the Administration
Console. The CRM Middleware requests Solution Workbooks from the BW system. The requests can be maintained in the CRM Server via the transaction SMOBILEBW.
After receiving a workbook update, a new Synchronization Flow is started in the CRM Middleware.The Synchronization Flow passes the workbook updates in form of BDoc messages to the replication service, which computes the receivers of the updates. The outbound adapter, which is called after the replication service, adds the workbook updates to the outbound queues of the corresponding Mobile Clients.
During the next communication session, the Mobile Client receives the new workbook or an update of query data contained within the workbook, stores it in the local database, and makes it available to the mobile user through the Mobile Sales/Service Application.
It is possible to define user-specific variants of workbooks in BW. When such a workbook is requested
for a Mobile Client, the user-specific variant is generated and processed.

Spark Datagrid on a mobile application, problem handling scrolling

I have a spark datagrid on a mobile application, I set the
interactionMode="touch"
and the dataGrid scrolling is good, I got some problems adding a selectionChange eventListener to it, because scrolling the dataGrid will automatically change the selection and instead simply scrolling it, the function binded will start...
How can I prevent that?

Help... It's really annoying and I cannot scroll the datagrid...

I solved using a workaround... instead of binding the selectionChange event, I binded the mouseDown and mouseUp then check the time between the two actions and if the time is less then a defined value the selectionChange event is dispatched...

If I am understanding correctly what you are wanting is to be able to see the check number for the payment document in both FBL1N and FAGLL03.
Special fields for AP line item reporting can be configured via IMG. Define additional fields for line item display>
Not all fields are available, but this one is. Add this entry, you can also add check encashment date if desired.
PAYR table name.
CHECF Field name
After these fields are saved, they can be selected in the line item layout on FBL1N.
You may also need to reset the ALV buffer using program BALVBUFDEL
Resetting the buffer is only necessary once in each client.

How to move Mobile Applications folder while sharing an Itunes library

For reasons that would be long and hard to explain, I decided some times ago to open a second user on my Book Pro dedicated to my music collection. The collection required to be stored on an external HDD, so the second user's Itunes folder links to a folder where all music is stored, and I put it with all library files (xml etc) in the Shared folder. Now I have decided to let the primary and mostly used user to share the same music of the secondary one. I easily succeeded in doing this, just simply opening the primary ITunes and ask it to link to the Itunes folder under the Shared folder. I have got my entire library also from the primary user, with covers and so on.
The trouble is that I use to manage an Iphone with the primary ITunes, and since I have not moved the Mobile Application folder (and what more?) into the shared ITunes folder, I cannot see anymore all data and applications into my IPhone section under ITunes, and I do not want to run experiments, doing a sync and just running the risk to lose all. How can I share the same ITunes library between two users, but to allow one of those still to see the IPhone data that was originally managed only from her ITunes, that now addresses to the ITunes folder under Shared folder that addresses to a HDD?.....

Still misspeaking. Further use reveals that while the users iTunes use the shared file, when the phones add new apps their iTunes recreates its iTunes Media directory in the users home folder. This time I can exit iTunes, move the apps to the shared Mobile Applications, delete and empty trash the original apps/ and folder, then the users iTunes will find the app in the shared folder when it restarts. Clearly not very tidy...

You should put mobile sales related messages in the forum "CRM Mobile applications"
This error message is coming because the language table SMOT002 might be empty in your mobile client OR it does not have all the values which have been customized in the system.
You need to have subscription based on publication "customizing objects" assigned to your site.

It is working fine in Dev.
Now i want to know how to transfer the changes i Made in Mobile Applicaiton Studio to all the Mobile Cleint.
I made changes to MAS in the Test Client Assisgned to me.
I want to replicate these chages to all the Clients.
I am also having problem transporting the changes made in Dev to QA.
I created the change list in Dev and released it and assigned the Transport Number to it..
When I am trying to trasnport the transport number to QA in CRM online system it is giving out error saying "Change List is not complete in the system".
Can you give me suggestiosn how to transport the change request created in Mobile Applicaiton Studio to QA

How to enable http trace for a mobile application??

SSO(single Sign On) is failing in my client's application.And it is an android application.So,we are not able to enable the http trace and see where its failing/where the cookie is getting wiped out. Please let me know if there is any alternative way to trace this mobile application.

Mobile applications downloading to different folder

Just moved my itunes library across to my new machine, organised and consolidated and all working well with one exception.
I have the new iTunes Media structure that has created under an iTunes folder, all of the folders are there, Music, Podcasts, Mobile Apps, etc.
An iTunes Media folder has also been created with just a Mobile Applications folder under it.
When I download an iphone app they save to the folder under iTunes Media folder, if I then run Consolidation - it copies the app to the one under iTunes.
Can't figure out why these aren't saving to this folder in the first place!! I have the organise settings, etc ticked.

I'm having this exact problem. I did a proper move of my iTunes media over to an external drive where it set up an iTunes folder and within are Mobile Applications, Music, Movies, Podcasts, all that sort of thing. However, all new applications have been downloaded to a folder on my actual iMac drive:
~/iTunes/iTunes Media/Mobile Applications
I don't want to go messing around with aliases or symbolic links, I just want my Apps to download to the correct folder, same as every single other iTunes media file is perfectly able to do. Newly purchased music doesn't do this, nor does podcasts. So why do Apps? Weird.
Any solution other than regular Consolidation? (and how do you do that, anyway?)

Creating Custom Mobile Application with CRM

After reading some staff about the CRM Mobile client solutions , I have not figure it out weather I can create my own mobile applications using the CRM Mobile Technology .
I know that the mobile clients need CRM Middleware server for synchonization and for access to backend systems, but can I call any rfc on any backend system (for example R3)
for synchronization meaning that my CRM server will be used only as middleware server to access non crm functionality on other backend systems

What you can do is the following:
data-save on MSA triggers an outbound sbdoc (containing the update objects)
-->this one is sent to CRM by the conntrans
--> the sbdoc is created from the data, stored in the inbound queue, and processed through it's CRM flow (meaning mapping to mbdoc, processing of inbound mbdoc, creation of outbound mbdoc and mapping to outbound sbdoc).
What you can do is use or exit the bdoc flow to trigger whatever other process you want.
What exactly is the requirement?

DURIM - Okay. I would expect the "Cache Warning" message because your default directories would not be the same as the ones in the settings file I generated.
If you go back to the "7.0" directory and open the "Logs" folder, can you copy the "Audition Log.txt" file and send it as an attachment to [email protected]? We'll take a look in that logfile and see if it gives us more information about why this is failing now.
Also, do you have any other Adobe applications installed on this machine, such as Premiere Pro? If so, do they launch as expected or fail as well?
I do have the trial Pro version of Adobe reader, but I have not activated it, because I fear the same thing will happen did it. I cannot afford to activate the subscription for that product and take the chance of it not working either. I depend on those two programs religiously. Here is the files that you requested. I appreciate any help you can give me to get this audition program started
