Delete application list

Anybody know how to delete application lists using the APEX API?
For my application I need the ability to generate pages and navigation lists using the APEX API.
I know there are the functions wwv_flow_api.create_list and wwv_flow_api.create_list_item
to build a list but I can't seem to find any similar functions to remove them in the first place.
I can access the tables they are stored in directly and delete them from there but then I need
to specify the table owner (in my case FLOWS_030100) as there are no public synonyms or
key-preserved views on those tables.

I will use a batch, of course, wich sould delete the applications and then import them all over again. Hmm, so, you would say that this is possible only from the GUI? This again bears no relevance to this thread. You are now talking about deleting applications, not deleting lists within applications. I would suggest starting a new thread for your new question.
A few points to get you started:
- An application export is just sql script which you can run outside of the APEX UI. See Scott's post here with details:
Import application manually
- As Scott says, if your importing applications in this way, you'll need to make sure the workspace ID of the target workspace is the same as the workspace that you exported the application from. (Easiest way to do this is by exporting the workspace from the source and importing it to the target).
- If you import an application that has the same ID as one which already exists in a workspace, then this will overwrite it anyway, so you don't need to actually delete anything.

How to remove applications from "Selected applications" list?

I know how to delete applications from my iPhone 3G. I also understand that when I sync they will get restored on my phone if I have "Sync applications" checked and I choose the "All applications" radio button. If I want applications to "stay deleted," I need to choose the "Selected applications" radio button and make sure the ones I want to stay gone are un-checked.
How do I "fully delete" an application, so it is both (a) no longer on my phone and (b) no longer in the "selected applications" list?

Simple go to where it has your applications in the Application menu (not tab in iPhone sync options, but the menu on left) and delete it from there.
Say keep file when it asks if you want to delete it from your hard-drive if you at least want to keep it on your drive.
In summary, just remove it from iTunes but keep the file. Or if you want to fully get rid of it, let it delete it from drive too. Remember, you can always re-download and even if you paid for it, it will discover you already bought it and say you can re-download for free.

Trying to remove an application that is on my device but not in my applications list.

I am a new user of a BB Curve 8330 I just got in September from Verizon. I do have several apps but there is 1 specific one that is confusing me. I downloaded UberTwitter about 2 weeks ago. I can send and receive tweets without a problem, but I had read where it takes up a tremendous amount of memory and drains your battery quickly because it refreshes so frequently. Since I only check it once in a while I figured I'd delete it. Problem is, it is nowhere to be found in my Applications List. Everthing else is there - Facebook, BBC Mobile, Sky Sports, ESPN Soccernet, The Telegraph and Ebay along with all the other stuff that comes on the phone. No problems with any of them. Just Uber Twitter. How am I going to delete this if I can't find it?

It will drain your battery if you have it constantly running in the background. I turned that off (in the UT options). Turn off the BB notifications and uncheck move to background on close.
If it's not in your application list on your phone, maybe you can try deleting it thru your desktop manager (if you have it installed). Funny, it shows up in my app list.
Hope some of this helps. I really like UT - especially now since it doesn't eat up my battery!

Firefox3: application list display only a few filetypes

Hi,
if I try to download for instance a mp3-file, firefox uses mplayer-plugin to play the file in the browser and opens no dialog for choosing what to do with the file (e.g.: download). With firefox2 it was no problem to download a mp3-file.
Actually it should be possible to change the behaviour for a filetype under Edit->Preferences->Applications. But there are only a few filetypes displayed in the application list and mp3 and other filetypes are missing.

I also found no way to add new filetypes to the list.
This happens with the official build from mozilla (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=18077) and with the package from pacman.
I searched for this problem in the mozilla support forum and with google, but found no solution. Deleting the file "mimeTypes.rdf" did not work either. Also deleting the whole folder ".mozilla" and restarting firefox did not help.

The package (mime-types) was already installed.
At least, reinstalling the package resulted in more filetypes to be displayed in the application list.
But mp3 and pdf (for instance) are still missing...

If you mean from your purchased list, you can't. The app store keeps a permanent list of your previous purchases so you can redownload them if desired.

Device Applications List

Okay. Let me try to be simple about this:
I am new to all of this, and had tried in vain to update my OS to 4.5, using the same directions found here. What I did not realize was that Sprint has yet to release 4.5. Regardless, doesn't matter, I'm going to wait on Sprint's release.
In doing so, I deleted and upgraded my Desktop Manager about 5 times, and had backed up my device a couple of times.
I wanted to delete some applications, so I went to

Applications
Instead of showing all of the core applications (Brickbreaker, Memo Pad, Calendar, etc) it only showed third party applications (Viigo, OperaMini, AIM, Google Talk, etc)
All of my applications are on the device, and all of them work just fine. They just don't show up in my applications list.
I want them in the list, but posting on another forum, someone said I would have to have 4.3 on my computer and reload the OS. I don't understand I guess, if I need to somehow wipe the device and do a clean install... really I don't know what to do at all. I have gotten as far as downloading Sprint's 4.3 from RIM, and I have made a backup of my device.
Is it necessary....should the applications be on the device, or should I just use Desktop manager to remove some applications that aren't showing up there? Seems like the applications should be listed like they used to and I don't know what to do.

Well... that IS another story. You can not load the EXACT same OS version back on top of the same OS verions.
If you are using the same OS verions, you will not be loading the OS, just "editing" it by removing the VAD cod files from the PC's java folder, and running the App Loader, in which it will appear to do nothing, but in actuality it will remove the VAD files and you will notice little else.
Does that muck up your understanding any at all?

I won't argue with you about the merits of loading OS 4.5 whether from Sprint or Verizon, but it does NOT matter. RIM has released it. It is certified, stamped, approved, and all else --except by Sprint, who for some reason have not.
Now, that said, another user on this board said it was released by Sprint, and that person in a prior post this morning when challenged with the question said it would take a day or so to determine what they did... so we shall see.
But it is safe to do it. Sprint doesn't care what OS you have on your 8330.

Deleting applications on Blackberry

I've followed all the steps to delete applications on my Blackberry Pearl, but the icon still shows up on my phone. The application doesn't show up on the application list. Is there any way I can delete the icon and make sure the application is completely off my phone?

If it is not in the applications listing it is probably deleted as you said. Just hide your icon and you won't see it again unless you want to.

E17 - Empty applications list in IBar/Favorite/Startup settings

Recently I Installed fresh Archlinux system on my laptop. This time I wanted to try some lightweight WM so my choice was Enlightenment. Everything works perfectly on root but when I run WM from another (newly created) user I encounter some annoying trouble - there is empty applications list in IBar / Favorite / Startup Applications settings inspite of all installed apps are appearing in Main menu -> Applications.
I have no idea what causes problem, maybe wrong permissions? I tried deleting .e/ directory, and I also installed newest E17 snapshot from svn via arche17 AUR package but nothing has changed.
I also found possibly duplicate of this issue but there is no clues how to fix it.

Desktop Software does allow us to delete such application , Or just simply Go to Options > Device > Application Management > Delete any appplication from that list that you want .

Unfortunately by central admin UI you cannot change a web application name.
So there are two ways to do this
First as suggested above you have to delete web app and recreate again.
2nd one you can use powershell script to modify webapp name as below
$a=Get-SPWebApplication | where {$_.Name -match "Old web app name"}
$a.Name
$a.Name="New web app name"
$a.Update()
Get-SPWebApplication | where {$_.Name -match "New web app name"}

Hi Ben
I'm assuming by navigation lists you mean you have created Lists and want to delete these, rather than wanting to delete a region from a page. To delete the list, if you go to Shared Components > Lists and select the list you wish to delete. On this screen click the Edit List button and there's a delete button on this page. This will delete the list and the list entries.

How can I delete the list of watched videos on my iPad?

I have been watching videos on my ipad through the iTunes "home sharing" feature. It seems to work fine.
My problem is that I can't figure out how to delete the list (on the iPad) of videos that have been watched. Not only have I watched them but I have also deleted them from my iTunes movies list. I have tried syncing, signing out and back in to the iTunes store, turning off home sharing and then turning it back on again (which requires signing back in), all the while quitting out of the videos app and /or restarting the iPad before and after each of these steps.
The videos are shown as greyed-out icon/thumbnails in the iPad videos app. I am able to add new videos to iTunes, see them as not-greyed-out icons in the iPad app, and watch them. I just can't delete the shown list of the watched videos list on the iPad, which in the case of TV shows collect quite quickly and require lots of scrolling to get to the unwatched video icons.

Yes, so...
I have also closed iTunes, reset network settings on the iPad, then shut down and restarted the iPad. Still, I end up with greyed out rectangular icons for all the movies I've ever streamed from my Mac Mini to my ipad via my home wireless router.
Again, I have watched all the way to the end of the movie, selcted the movie in iTunes and chosen "mark as watched", and then deleted it in ITunes.
Any ideas?

I understand that some of your applications are not appearing under Settings > Cellular on your iPhone so that you can restrict or allow use of cellular data. If you have some installed applications on your iPhone that are not showing here, the first troubleshooting step I would suggest would be to reset your iPhone.
