Delete In-Transits.

Hi All,
Can any body help me in finding the "BAPI for deleting the In transits" based on the purchase order. As it is urjent please let me know as early as possible.

use following to delete the PO. i have the similar requirements, i did it using user exits.
1. get order details.
   l_ord_range: this table contains the order number.
    CALL FUNCTION 'BAPI_POSRVAPS_GETLIST3'
      EXPORTING
        logical_system = cs_controls-logsrcsys
      TABLES
        order_selection = l_ord_range
        receipts        = lit_receipts.
lit_receipts contains order guid.
    IF NOT lit_receipts[] IS INITIAL.
      LOOP AT lit_receipts.
        lit_baisis_tx_num-ordid = lit_receipts-ordid.
        APPEND lit_baisis_tx_num.
      ENDLOOP.
      IF NOT lit_baisis_tx_num[] IS INITIAL.
        SORT lit_baisis_tx_num.
        DELETE ADJACENT DUPLICATES FROM lit_baisis_tx_num.
2. Delete PO
lit_baisis_tx_num contains order guids to be deleted.

          EXPORTING

Imovie quits every time I delete a transition?

Yesterday my imovie started acting quirky by quitting after I delete a transition?
I did disc repair
I emptied my cache
Re-started my computer
moved my movies onto a different drive, deleted what was on my drive that I work on and then brought one back over after the disc repair and still it is quitting after I delete a transition?
I really am in a bind and need have a job to get done, any help would be most appreciated.

Hi Beth,
Here's how to trash the com.apple.imovie.plist (It's easy):
1. Be sure that iMovieHD is not launched (or quit it if it is).
2. Go to your Macintosh hard drive, find the Users folder, and open it
3. Locate your folder and open it (the one with your name on it)
4. Locate your Library folder and open it
5. Locate your Preferences folder and open it
6. Inside this folder find the com.apple.imovie.plist file and drag it to the trash
7. Empty the trash
8. Launch iMovieHD. The program will create a new preferences file. You may have to go into the iMovie preferences and change some of the settings, depending on how you want iMovie to do things.
Sometimes a corrupted preference file can make a program act in strange ways.

Deletion of transitions to selection...

There is a function called "Apply default transition to selection" in CS4.
Is there any function that can delete the transitions between all selected clips?
This is important when after done a lot of work, I find out that the transitions between the clips are not so good, and I want to remove and add new ones to them(automatically).

I get the right duration when the first time "Add Default Transitions to selection".
However, when I modify the duration settings and "Add Default Transitions to selection" again, the transitions did change if I change the default transition from A to B, but the duration is still old.

How can I reduce total time after deleting a transition

I recently made a quite long 1:51 minute animation with rather complex timeline.
Now, It happened that I want to delete some middle animations (at 0:18 or something) and reduce the overall video time. I am finding myself at totally loss when readjusting each transition.
When I delete the middle transition and try to pull back other transition, I can't since there are already so many of them and they wont move when they collide with each other.

Itunes remembers what u have downloaded (free and paid apps) so if u have to 'authorize' the computer again as a new computer, (u r allowed 5) itunes will just reinstall apps and app info eg saved games scores etc will be still there after restore or update.

What is the proper way to delete video transitions and restore clips?

I guess this is a two parter.. In the case where you overlap two clips and add a cross-fade, etc., and when you butt two clips together and do a 3D-spin, etc. I am talking about when you are long past using Command-Z to backup. I'd like to restore adjacent clips to their original state before overlaping and/or adding transitions.

well, i can think of the best way to restore if you think you're gonna get into a transition heavy sequence.
duplicate your cuts only sequence and add transitions to your duplicate. i often create duplicate sequences and than add a word or two as well as the date as an identifier. when i'm done with the project, i delete the unused sequences or keep them around if i think i may reuse something.
otherwise, what is wrong with just selecting the transition and deleting?

Can not clear transition in MBP

I have a portable hard drive with a FCP 5.1.2 project on it. Most of this work is was done on an iMac G5. I can delete a cross dissolve transition just fine. However when I have this same project file running the same version of FCP on my Intel MBP, it will NOT delete the transition. It will remove the transistion from the timeline, but the transition is still there on playback! I noticed this same thing when playing with MBPs at the Apple store, but at the time I thought it was something with how the demo computers were set up. How do a delete a cross dissolve on a MBP? Whatever happen to platform independence?

Weird - I'll have to test it out on my MBP.
In the meantime try moving opacity up and down at the point where the transition used to be to force it to rerender and see if that makes it go away.

Importing transitions from imovie to final cut problems

Hello, I made a musicvideo in imovie, it´s all finished with cuts and transitions but I want to make the "final touch" with balance, colours etc in final cut.
The problem: when I import the imovie project into final cut pro x the clips and the transitions changes the duration so the clips nolonger sync with the music and some of the clips are much longer/shorter than the original. I don´t want to do all the job again, editing and add new transitions in final cut as it already took me a long time......Anyone have any solution?

You can delete the transitions in iMovie and re-add them after importing into FCP X. Granted, this is some work, but it should not be all that much. It is easy to add a number of transitions and to set their parameters all at once.
Like BenB said, transitions behave differently in both programs, and they do not match, so this conversion can cause problems, as you are now well aware.

Does anyone know how to remove the annoying audio clicks embedded in transitions?

It appears that all transitions in iMovie '11 are accompanied by a short "click" embedded within the transition. Is there any way to tell iMovie to remove those clicks?
(One can see the audio peak when using the precision editor, but volume adjustment is not available in the precision editor, or for transitions in the time line editor...)

Oops. My mistake. The clicks were in the portion of the soundtrack contained within the transition. IMovie does not allow editing of sound that is contained within a transition. The solution to my problem was to delete the transition, edit the sound track to remove the clicks, then add the transition once again.
Voilá, the clicks are gone.

Can't drag transitions or clips in FCPx 10.0.6

Hi,
After working in FCPx for a while, at some point, either after deleting a transition or something, I lose my ability to drag transitions or clips to the time line. I don;t get the hand pointer or anything. I just can't 'pick them up' to drag them.
I am using FCPX 10.0.6 and OSX 10.7.5 on a dual CPU, Gen 2, 8 Core Mac Pro with Raid drives and a 5770 HD Apple ATI, 12GB Ram.
Workarounds
- If I restart FCPX I can go to the same cut and easly drag and drop the transition.
- If I right click the transition and set it as default, I can add it using command-T.
- When I can't drag clips from the even viewer, command-E works and then I can re-arrage them in the project timeline.
What I am hoping here is for someone to say "Oh you are inadvertently putting FCPX into 'non-drag and drop mode', just press command-something to get your drag and drop back."
It is an annoyance, but due to the fact that it works after FCPX restart with exactly the same project and process I think it may be a bug or I am getting into some mode.

Try trashing your Preferences.
This is commonly used as a remedial procedure in Applications like FCP X where preference files occasionally get corrupted and can cause unusual problems.
The simplest way to do it is by using Preference Manager from Digital Rebellion. (Free App).
With Preference Manager, you can back-up your existing preferences before trashing them, so that if the Preferences were not the cause of the problem, you can restore them with a mouse click.

Get strange audio from other parts of the video when I am using transitions

In most cases when I add a transition, I get a strange piece of audio inserted during the transition. I know I can go in and manually edit this out, but is there some sort of fix to keep this from happening in the first place?

Yes, that is a problem that happens sometimes, especially with the Cross-Dissolve transition. I use that one a lot, and run into this with many of my clips. I have 'fixed' it with a variety of methods including muting, putting music over it, adding audio clips recorded from the beginning of the next clip....for this one I have to delete the transition, crop the next clip, remove it to the clips pane, add back the transition and record the audio from the deleted clip using WiretapPro. Works great and actually is faster than it seems.
You might be able to get some correction by trashing iMovie's preference file; Close iMovie. Go to YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.imovie.plist
If you also have iMovie 8, you will see its plist as com.apple.imovie7.plist, so be sure to trash the correct one.
Drag the plist file to the trash. Reopen iMovie and see if it works properly now.

'Filmstrip" transition background changed to aqua green and off white...how do I get it back to white? FCPX

Editing a piece it was complete. We went back and omitted a word in the transistion 'filmstrip'. The background is now an off white yellow on "pand down fast' and the 'pan down slow' is a light blue or aqua. These are my selections I can't redo the transistion since my transistion backgrounds are now these colors. I rebooted and restarted....please apple gods give us back FCP7! I'm doing this in FCPX.

You are not giving a lot of information and/or a bit of confusing terminology. What do you mean by "missong a word in a transition"? Transitions are no text. Maybe you meant a title? Or are you applying a transition to a title? What exactly has changed color? Why can't you delete the transition and add it again? Perhaps posting an image of your timeline and what you are seeing in the viewer will clarify and allow us to help effectively.

Trimming a clip after I apply a transition

I tried a search on this one, but no luck..
So I've got a clip in the the timeline, and added a cross dissolve to the end of it for a fade out. Is there a way to trim the clip without deleting the transition off the end of it first?

If you're familiar with trimming using the keyboard, do the same thing you would if you didn't apply a transition. That is, (carefully) select the edit point (and not the transition) and use the [ and ] keys (with the Shift key, if you're looking to work several frames at a time) to trim.
Or is that not working for you?

Remove multiple transitions

Hi, I know it is possible to add multiple transitions, but how is it possible to DELETE multiple transitions at once? I do have a long sequence with transition between every clip, and now would need to remove them all... Any idea? Thanks

Place the Timeline playhead at the edit point where the first transition is located. Select (highlight) all other clips with transitions that need to be removed. Drag the selected clips to the right-hand side of the Canvas window and drop them on the 'Overwrite' pane. Do NOT drop them on the 'Overwrite with Transition' pane.

Final Cut Pro X freezing when I stack transitions?

I'm trying to place transitions on images that are stacked in my timeline, however every time I try to put a transition on the 5th image, final cut refuses to render the small transition and freezes. I've restarted the computer, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Final Cut, but nothing seems to work.
One thing that fixes the issue is if I'm quick enough to delete the transition before it freezes, the problems stops and I can use Final Cut normally, but the second I try to place the transition, it freezes up again.
I'm on a 2012 iMac 27" with the basic specs. Many videos have been edited on this without any issues so I know it can handle what I'm attempting to do, especially as I've done it many times before.
Is there anyway to resolve the issue? And it seems to be with the transition "scale" at the beginning of the image seen below. I placed "Cross Dissolve" on all of the images at the beginning and end; they all rendered properly and could use final cut without any issues
(There's a video as the base/main file on the timeline, then images that are stacked over the video file. There is cross dissolve at the end of each image and scale transition at the beginning of each image)
