Deleting extended VO, EO

Dear All
I have extended a VO. so for that I made new extended vo.xml, 2 .class files and a .jpx files and imported to server. Now I want to remove this extension. How is it possible ?

Can you delete any custom extended properties without knowing their ID?
I took over managing a feature that used EWS to send emails to customers.The current code creates a new GUID, and thus new Extended Property, every time an email is sent.

No you can't do that in EWS you need to know the details of the property you want to Read/Write or delete. EWS has no method of enumerating all extended properties either you would need to use MAPI to do this.

I'd question the design of this what where they trying to acheive ? Why not have ths same property with a different Value ? else using an X-header would be better idea at least then it will persist ouside of your Exchange infrastructure and even
inside would be more discoverable.

Delete aged inventory - does not delete extended hardware inventory

Hello, I am hoping somebody can help me with customized hardware inventory
We recently extended the hardware inventory to pull data from a registry key (hkeylocalmachine\software\asset).
We used Sherry Kissinger's guide, and I can't thank her enough for posting it!

We also have a custom report based off of the extended hardware inventory.
However, I noticed that the data for a client I deleted a few days ago is still in the database. My custom report can still pull data from SQL on it.
I did some research here on the forums, and found out I should set a task to delete it.
I went in to site maintenance, and set the "delete aged inventory" from 90 days to everyday, and the data is still there.
From what I have read on these forums, it is not a good idea to go in to SQL and delete the data manually.
I am not sure how to resolve this problem.
Few questions I have :
1) shouldn't deleting the SCCM client - delete the inventory from the database?
2) are custom hardware inventory not included in the task "delete aged inventory"?
3) is it safe to delete it from SQL server?

Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
In CM12 data is not deleted on the fly, instead it is marked as deleted and then it will be deleted a while later. See this blog post for more details.

Restore the deleted extended IIS web site into Virtual directories

Hi,
i deleted the IIS site from virtual directories and as well from IIS. But still i can see the extended web site zone in the Central administration, General Settings from the remove SharePoint from IIS web site. now question is there any way i can restore
the deleted iis site zone any how?

Thanks for your answer. i need some suggestion regarding on going issue. First i have created a web application at port 80 when it was in singer server and then i extended to 443 and 80 in multi-tier farm as you can see in the below image
And then i deleted IIS site from IIS itself and from Virtual directories as you can see in the below picture. Then i blinded the "SharePointDemo-80" site with host header at port 443 With default zone AAM. now i can access the site well but problem
is if i want to deploy any custom solution, getting error "The web.config is invalid on this IIS web site: "C:\inetpub\wwwroot\wss\VirtualDirectories\demoportal.bbcat.local80\web.config. " and also crawler is not crawling any items. my
understanding is, as there is no IIS site into virtual directories obviously will throwing error. Usually first i create web application at different port (example 8080) and then extend the application to 80 or 443. As i have already place this web application
and did customization, what will be the best way to handle this situation?

RE6500 - deleting extended networks and other queries

I've got four questions which I hope have easy answers:
1) I have an RE6500 and have set it up using the excellently simple instructions to extend my 2.4GHz network.. Later, once it's running, I use the web interface to a add a 5GHz extended network. Now my original 2.4GHZ network, which belongs to my router, is extended to 2.4GHz and 5GHz. Excellent. So later still I decide I want to remove the 5GHz network. But how? There's no button or box to turn off either of the extended networks. The only way I've been able to get rid of the 5GHz extended network is to perform a factory reset and start again from scratch. There must be a better way, but what is it?
2) The 5GHz extended network I created in (1) comes up on channel 36. How can I change this?
3) I want the extender to only "listen" on 2.4GHz and only "talk" on 5GHz. How can I do this?
4) Is it me, or are the keyhole slots on the base (for wall mounting) really the wrong way up?

The RE6500 lets you repeat the wireless signal of any access point or router to provide Internet connectivity in hard to reach areas through a wireless connection on the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz frequency band. You can't change the channel. You can disable the SSID broadcast by accessing the user interface of the extender. The link shows an RE1000 but accesing it is just the same.

Extend Studio Not installing correctly

I have windows 8
I'm using DW CS6
Bought Exted Studio in Nov. 2014
I have went through the Extend Studio share screen session and they couldn't help me. I deleted Extend Studio and tried to re install it again, but the extension does not show up in my DW program. Elena Coman from Extend Studio suggested that I contact adobe directly. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

How to add a comment on column and table

I would like to have a comment for each column, I know this is possible in oracle we can have comment for each column.
can I have the same in SQL Server, can you provide me a simple example.
I created a table as in attached screen, and tried using the extended properties, to do this. however I've few questions
1. How can I retrieve this info using query
2. here in point 4 of attached image I see Name and Value, do I have to give name and value for each column
3. Do I have to rt click each column and go and update this info their, I have a table with 100+ column :(

I don't understand very well your code because it has no organization. Try to put all your code between a tag that is the word code inside brackets, and close that tag at the end of your code.
For the code that I read, you're trying to get the parameters of a form that is in the same servlet. And the forms that you print didn't have an action. So, first of all, put an action on those forms, otherwise they will do noting, at least that you supply some javascript, which isn't the case. Later, don't think that you can call or continue the methods on a servlet just because you press a button which is printed in the same servlet.
Nevertheless, put that code into brackets and we will try to help you better.

Forall exception rollback

Hi Guys,
I have a forall statement that I want to continue processing if it hits an exception, and rollback anything it fails on. I have limits set so I am only lifting 300 records at a time, but if only one record fails in the forall, then i want the other 299 to process and commit, and only rollback that one failure..is it possible? This is using oracle 10g.
Example snippet below, the "dots" are just were I have removed unneeded code for this example. I want to know if I can add a rollback in the EXCEPTION that will rollback the forall failure for the one saved exception, and the "commit" will commit the remaining 299 that were success?

You can not do INSERT and DELETE using same FORALL statelemt. For that you have to create seperate copy of Collection.
If you want to ROLLBACK everything thnen omit the SAVE EXCEPTION statement in FORALL.
You can gothrough below FORALL restriction...
Restrictions
The following restrictions apply to the FORALL statement:
•You cannot loop through the elements of an associative array that has a string type for the key.
•Within a FORALL loop, you cannot refer to the same collection in both the SET clause and the WHERE clause of an UPDATE statement. You might need to make a second copy of the collection and refer to the new name in the WHERE clause.
•You can use the FORALL statement only in server-side programs, not in client-side programs.
•The INSERT, UPDATE, or DELETE statement must reference at least one collection. For example, a FORALL statement that inserts a set of constant values in a loop raises an exception.
•When you specify an explicit range, all collection elements in that range must exist. If an element is missing or was deleted, you get an error.
•When you use the INDICES OF or VALUES OF clauses, all the collections referenced in the DML statement must have subscripts matching the values of the index variable. Make sure that any DELETE, EXTEND, and so on operations are applied to all the collections so that they have the same set of subscripts. If any of the collections is missing a referenced element, you get an error. If you use the SAVE EXCEPTIONS clause, this error is treated like any other error and does not stop the FORALL statement.
•You cannot refer to individual record fields within DML statements called by a FORALL statement. Instead, you can specify the entire record with the SET ROW clause in an UPDATE statement, or the VALUES clause in an INSERT statement.
•Collection subscripts must be just the index variable rather than an expression, such as i rather than i+1.
•The cursor attribute %BULK_ROWCOUNT cannot be assigned to other collections, or be passed as a parameter to subprograms.

Viewmail uninstall Error

hi every body,
i migrating unity 4.0.5 to unity connection 8.5.1 on unified messaging. But when i upgrade VMO 4.2.2 to 8.5.6, the old version of viewmal is not correctly uninstalled.
When i open outlook after uninstallation the following message appear "add-in:c:\programfiles\viewmail\tfxext32.dll(tfxext32.dll)

Hi Vincent, I'm assuming you since figured out a solution to this, the following 2 solutions are the ones I came across, I used the 2nd one. Works for Outlook 2007 which is where I ran into this problem. Can you update if you solved it another way?
Use the Outlook 2007 Trust Center:
Open Outlook
Navigate the menus through: Tools | Trust Center... | Add-ins (on the left)
Ensure "COM Add-ins" is showing next to "Manage:", at the bottom of the dialog
Click [Go...]
Untick "[ ] The offending extension"
Click [Ok]
Restart Outlook and verify that it worked.
Delete "extend.dat", because the add-ins are cached there.
Close Outlook
Go to My Computer (Windows Explorer)
Navigate the menus through: Tools | Folder Options | [View] tab | "Advanced Settings" section | Hidden Files and Folders
Tick (x) Show Hidden Files and Folders, and click [Ok]
In Windows Explorer, navigate to C:\documents and settings\{username}\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
Delete "extend.dat"
Close Windows Explorer, and reopen Outlook

Multicam Editing: remove all switches in timeline

thanks in advance.
i just realized that my multicam sequence has been "recording" a camera switch in the timeline every time i click on an angle in the viewer. I just want to see it on the canvas, but when i do this, it places a cut in the sequence timeline.
two questions:
(1) how do I undo all of these? in audio, I'd select all of the regions and Join or Merge them. reverting to save is not an option, there's other stuff i'd lose.
(2) how do I stop this from happening in the future?

Well simply put a marker where the multiclip ends in the timeline, select all the clips in the timline except the first one, delete, extend first clip to the marker.
This is the behavior that is expected with a multiclip in the canvas opened in the viewer. I think there are alternate ways to work but since I work this way intentionally I'm not sure exactly how to do it. Reading the manual or the online help would probably give you the info.

Hi, i have a few interview shoted from two cameras. So when i start a multicam workflow i have a multicam window with tools for switching between cameras on the fly or scrolling by hand, it is not easy when you edit an interview. Is there a way to edit multicam wiewing cameras on timeline each camera on additional video track, and playback them simultaneously in the multicam window without tricking with PIP effect?

Help deleting pirated Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and copying new 9 pro

I originally bought a copy of Adobe 9 Pro Extended on ebay for 250 USD but unfortunately it turned out to be priated. I discovered this only when I rang Adobe about there being no serial number shown in the software. Other than that I would never had known.
Anyway in a bid to get legitimate software I have purchased a copy of Learning Suite 2.
First step delete Acrobat 9. Well it does not appear in the Add/Remove programs, so I elected to delete it manually. Ie deleting the folder and files. To do this I went to programs (x86) and deleted the folder.
Installing Learning Suite Disk 1 has installed with no issues.
Installing Learing Suite Disk 2 (Acrobat 9 Pro), I continue to get an error message that a more capable produst is installed and the installer terminates.
I have tried the following:
Using Windows Installer Cleanup: It will not run as it says I have a runtime error.
CS3 and CS4 Clean Script: It works untill the point where Windows Installer Cleanup cannot be found and then terminates.
Deleteing files under Documents and Settings
An option I can see is that I restore to point 5 days ago and then try another tack.
The hardware and operating system is: Dell Studio i7 with Win 7 Ultimate

I have solved similar problems successfully on my PC with WinXP. May be my solution gives you a clue.
I have installed CCleaner - a freeware cleaning program with satisfactory results.
First of all I used System Restore in case I had to return to the point from where I started.
After that I deleted the complete DIR of the 'wrong' program from C:\Program Files\ ... etc.
For your problem: note that a bunch of Acrobat files are stored in C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\....
and probably also in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Acrobat\....
I suggest to look for Acrobat files stored for other users as well.
Delete these Acrobat files or Acrobat DIR's.
Run the Register tool of CCleaner (second item left column). TIP: Do not tack all check points at once, but start with the upper item (missing DLL) - scan for problems - no back up needed - Correct all problems. Tack the second chechpoint and repeat the procedure, tack the third - and so on.
It is obvious that the checkpoint(s) you have already scanned will not show any problems.
Doing this step by step you will not be confronted with a mess (and mass) of information you don't know how to handle.
Have a look at CCleaner - Tools (third item left column). May be it shows the program (or part of it) you want to delete.
Check once again whether the program you wish to delete is shown in the software list of the configuration screen.
All the above is based of WINXP.
Hope you will be able to find the equivalents in WIN7.
